Chapter 6: Dust in the Wind:
Psyche's POV:
I was taken to the rock spire. I awaited my fate. Then someone came.
Zephyrus: I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are dust in the wind
Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are dust in the wind
Ohh-oh-ah
Now, don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are dust in the wind (Chorus: All we are is dust in the wind)
Dust in the wind (Chorus: Everything is dust in the wind)
Everything is dust in the wind
The wind!
"Are you the monster I was expecting," I asked.
"Oh no, I prefer men," he says, "but I have come to save you!" He then destroys my shackles and carries me in his wind.
. . .
He then took me to this place. "Thank you," I said, "but why?"
"Don't worry about it," says Zephyrus, "just take a nap..."
I then fell asleep...
Eros' POV:
"Thank you, Zephyrus," I said.
"I live to serve," says Zephyrus. He then leaves. I then looked at Psyche. Now, how am I going to do this?
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Eros proposes to Psyche while invisible.
