Chapter 8: The Only One for Me:
Psyche's POV:
I then returned home. I can't wait to tell everyone about my new husband!

"Psyche, can you ever forgive us for what we did," asks my Father.
"What you did was the greatest thing ever to have happened to me," I said, "I was whisked away where I met the most wonderful man and... we got married!"
"What," everyone asked.
"It was a wonderful wedding... though no one attended, but the Oracle of Delphi officiated it and, oh, by the way, he was invisible..."
"Psyche, the Oracle said that you would... be married to a horrifying monster," says my Father.
"What," I asked.
"I think that might have been him," says my Mother.
"It can't be," I said.
"You couldn't see him, right," asks Aglaura.
"Well... no," I said.
"Maybe that's why," says Cidippe.
"But... no," I said, "I can't believe it! He's the only one for me!"
