Chapter 11: Love Never Dies:

Aglaura's POV:

Cidippe and I didn't really care about Psyche's problem. In fact, why should she be married to a God? We're going to convince him to take one of us! We were at the peak, and we figured Zephyrus would catch us like he did Psyche.

Zephyrus' POV:

I had no intention of catching those two, so I just ignored them and let them fall to their death. They deserve it for what they did to their own sister.

Psyche's POV:

"Eros," I called, "Eros, please, come back to me, my Darling! Eros!" I then started to cry.

"Are you alright?"

"Who's there," I asked.

"I am Demeter. Now, how can I help you?"

"I... I fell in love, but... I hurt him... he's Eros..."

"Oh, Eros."

"Is that a problem," I asked.

"He made that demon chase after my daughter," says Demeter, "but it was kind of funny when Hades burnt him. I'm pretty mad at Eros, but... love never dies. Just look at Hades and Persephone."

Demeter: Who knows when love begins?
Who knows what makes it start?
One day it's simply there
Alive, inside your heart

It slips into your thoughts
It infiltrates your soul
It takes you by surprise
Then seizes full control

Try to deny it and try to protest
But love won't let you go
Once you've been possessed

Love never dies
Love never falters
Once it has spoken
Love is yours
Love never fades
Love never alters
Hearts may get broken
Love endures
Hearts may get broken
Love endures

And soon as you submit
Surrender flesh and bone
That love takes on a life much bigger than your own
It uses you at whim and drives you to despair
And forces you to feel more joy than you can bear

Love gives you pleasure
And love brings you pain
And yet, when both are gone
Love will still remain

Once it has spoken
Love is yours

Love never dies
Love never alters
Hearts may get broken
Love endures
Hearts may get broken

Love never dies
Love will continue
Love keeps on beating
When you're gone
Love never dies
Once it is in you
Life may be fleeting
Love lives on

Life may be fleeting
Love lives on!

"I will take you to Aphrodite," says Demeter, "but I should warn you... she's... not too crazy about you..."

"Because I broke her son's heart," I asked.

"No... because she's been jealous of the attention everyone gives you," says Demeter.

"Wait, Eros fell for me and Aphrodite's jealous of me," I asked, "I can't really be that beautiful!"

"I guess you never looked at yourself," says Demeter, "let's go." We then left.
