Batman took three sick people he caught before to Wayne's mansion. Alfred and Mr.Fox would try to observe and find cure or some sort of relief for those three men. The sick people were isolated from the main rooms and to secure them Alfred decided to take a big room in the basement.

Batman left as soon as he could and met with White Shadow at the sunset. She was patrolling streets and watching people safely walking towards the river.

-When he is going to attack? - asked Batman landing on a roof behind woman in a white cape.

-I don't know. I'm trying to understand his plan but all I know at this point that he won't turn on street lights and the city systems such as electricity and water is down. Will you dare to take people across the bridge in the darkness? - she turned to the dark figure.

-No. They stay night on this side of a river. Gordon is bringing supplies for fires, blankets and food which was provided by Wayne's Enterprises.

-It's generous of them. Where is Bruce Wayne anyway?

-I heard he is out of the city.

-I bet he is… - White Shadow turned back to the street view where river of people was floating slow and silent.

-He wasn't in the city when it all went down to begin with. - said Batman not knowing why.

-Who cares! All government officials and rich people are left. They got to their helicopters and flew over the river to the state land and regular people had no way to escape. Who know how it all will end… what else does Evan plan for us?

-We will do everything in our power to safe people. We have Gordon and many loyal policemen with him.

-Yeh… we have a brutal enemy and those sick people… they are stronger then tree regular men. You saw them for yourself… they are mad, insane! If five or ten of them attack people at night by the sunrise we will count corpses.

-I know. That's why we are here to make sure it won't happen. Here, take it, it's special immobilizing bullets. They contain bigger dose of drugs which supposed to stop those guys or at least slow them down. They won't die but be unconscious for a quite long time.

-Where did you get them?

-I made them.

White Shadow loaded bullets in her handgun and it gave her some sense of security because fighting those guys with her fists was a weak idea.

-I'm going to search the bridge one time in the evening, one at night and one last time before we will let people crocs it. I know there are some pontoon boats but those has to be transported from the other side of town. Police has fifteen of them so it is what Gordon doing right now. I'll ask you to keep monitoring people moves and let me know if there is any danger.

-There is always danger… but I'll let you know.

Batman left, vanished into the darkness. The night was in full hold of the city and the last sun light left this land taking all hopes and believes with it over the horizon.

Everyone who was awakened by Gordon's people camped on a river bank. The fires were lit up and people gathered around bewildered and lost. It was a cold night and supplies from Wayne Enterprise came just in time. Blankets and food boxes were given to all the people. Gordon organized a census of people who arrived that day. The pontoon boats would arrive later at night and hopefully set up before sunrise.

White Shadow was guarding a river bank but every time she looked on the bridge to the Zone Three she saw a small black figure flying from one arch to another. It was Batman searching for any unexpected explosives or man made damage to the structure. The snow broke out in the middle of the night and people tried to get closer to fires. White Shadow saw their faces and she knew those people were sick they needed help. To avoid any problems people were allowed to sleep only for few hours and then they had to be awakened by policemen patrolling through the crowd every two hours.

Everyone hoped that night would be calm and safe because tomorrow was going to be difficult and uneasy.
