It was another day at Metropolis High, as Lois was unlocking the door to the Daily Planet News Club room. Lois then gasped as she saw, "Leslie Willis. I see you let yourself in. Again. What brings you by?" she asked the punk girl in the room
"Just saving your newspaper, Lois. I've got an idea that'll make it at least somewhat readable." Leslie explained. "Make it fast. I got deadlines." Lois said. "Picture this. A gossip column written by yours truly." Leslie demonstrated "Not a chance." Lois responded.
"What? Why not?" Lois asked as she then picked up a newspaper with the latest news. "Worried I'll upstage the puff pieces you write? Saving cats. Seriously?" she pointed to Captain America saving a cat. "Look, Willis. You got spunk, gumption, bravado, all qualities of a great reporter, but gossip columns are too mean, and not to put too fine a point at it, so are you. Anything else?" however Leslie didn't respond instead she groaned Kamala then came in with a file. "Hello big boss." she said with excitement. "Oh! Hey, Kamala! You got more Avengers?" Lois asked. "You bet!" Kamala said as she dropped a file of pictures that she took. "And it's not just Avengers, I also took some of the Fantastic 4 and the X-men." she explained as she brought out more pictures of the Fantastic 4 and the X-men. "Hm, good stuff Khan." Lois complemented.
"Really? You did a little more than the mighty Avengers?" Leslie mocked. "I'll have to let you know, besides the Avengers, I want to take some time for my other favorite superhero teams." Kamala explained.
"Hmmm, that is so fascinating." Lois said as she brought out a pencil and pad, "before I publish, perhaps you give a little information about the Fantastic 4 and the X-men, won't you Khan?" she asked. "You got it, big boss." Kamala said as she pulled a chair to sit on. As she was about to explain about the Fantastic 4 and the X-men, Leslie was about to leave but then she decided to cause some mischief, as she took out her phone, she started rubbing electricity between her fingers while Lois was drinking her coffee. She then blew electricity near the outlet for the computer, causing it to short circuit and scare Lois, making her spill her coffee on herself. "Whoa, are you okay Lois?" Kamala said as she went over to her "I-I'm fine!" Lois said but she felt dizzy.
As Leslie looked at her accomplishment, she gave a smirk and walked , at her house, it turns out Leslie took a picture of Lois' misfortune and posted it online, calling it "Java Jolt."Leslie laughed wickedly and said, "Too mean, eh, Lois Lame? Well, the public love mean," she then cracks her knuckles. "and I'm gonna give 'em all they can handle." She said as she continued off her work.
Soon, she submitted it, and it started getting many followers, much to her enjoyment. In the picture room, Jimmy Olsen had recently taken some new pictures of Superman, but Leslie used her powers to turn on the lights, much to Jimmy's disappointment as it ruined all his pictures. Next, as Barbi was about to walk out the electric door, Leslie used her powers to make the door close on her, leaving her face pressed against the door. As Barry was running late for class, Leslie zaps him from behind, causing him to jump and smash his head first into the wall. Finally, in Biology class, Garth had to dissect a starfish, much to his despair.
Garth sniffled and said, "You deserve better, buddy." Just as he was about to dissect it, Leslie zapped it, causing to jump onto Garth's face and make him fall to the ground. When the girls saw the picture, they were laughing, except for Diana.
"Poor on the name of Hera do you laugh?" Diana asked, "Because it's funny." Babs replied ""Funny?" Is this what the world of man finds humorous? This suffering of others?" Diana asked more. Zee chuckled and said, "Oh, it's just an embarrassing moment, Diana. We all have 'em."
"And we are all hurt when we are mocked and ridiculed. Mankind is better than this." Diana explained. Soon, Gwen and Kamala came. "Sup, girls, what you looking at?" Gwen asked. Kara chuckles, shows the duo her phone and then says, "Check it."
Gwen and Kamala looked at the picture. Gwen started laughing but Kamala wasn't too fond about it. "Poor Garth. How did this happen" Kamala asked. "Who cares? It's funny." Kara said. "Yeah it sure is." Gwen replied. "I don't find it funny. Who could have done this?" Kamala asked. Soon, Lois showed up, and a few kids were beginning to laugh.
"Hey, look! It's Lois Lame!" a boy mocked which bothered her a little while others were laughing. "Hey, Lois. Bet you wish you had a gossip column now." Leslie mocked but Lois got irritated by it. Leslie sent a jolt of electricity at the door knob, zapping Lois silly. And everyone was laughing
Diana noticed the girls were trying to hold in their laughter. As she gives them a look, they stop and whistle. Kamala heads to Lois and says, "Let me help." as she helped her get up. "Thanks, Khan."
Later, at the mall, Leslie was browsing around for some new victims for her channel. "Hmm." She found the elevator and got an idea. "Oh! Things are looking up. Or should I say, going down." she then shocked the elevator.
Meanwhile, Diana and Gwen were at the shoe store.
"The warranty stated these would withstand vigorous activity, but they did not withstand" that's when Diana takes out these broken down high heels, "...infantry training." she exclaimed. "I think high heels are for walking, not training, D." Gwen said. "Besides, I would go for tennis shoes, or Croc sandals, like I do." Gwen said until her spider sense started tingling. "Uh Oh!" Gwen said, that's when they hear people screaming. Gwen saw what's happening and said, "Come on D!" as she ran off to change into her superhero outfit. "Right!" Diana said as she saw what's happening
As the elevator came crashing down, Diana appeared as Wonder Woman used her golden lasso to keep it from falling. Then Ghost-Spider shot spider webs to catch the elevator. "Few." Ghost-Spider said. "You can come out now!" she told the people. Soon, the people in the elevator were brought down safely, and the crowd went wild! "Oh don't worry, just all help from your friendly neighborhood Ghost-Spider." Ghost-Spider said. But then Leslie came in "Out of the way!" she shouted as she was getting through. "What's your problem, lady? You ruined my shot!" Leslie said as she was upset.
"Your shot? It is you! You are the one behind these videos!" Wonder Woman said. "The look on their faces was priceless!" Leslie said, but that's when Ghost-Spider shot a web on Leslie's face. Leslie had muffled to get the web off her face until she managed to remove it off.
"What was that for?" Leslie asked. "That's what you get for almost hurting those people!" Ghost-Spider explained. "Yes! Well, contrary to what you may think, I believe that your interweb theatrical comedy is in fact a tragedy, and mean in spirit." Wonder Woman said.
'"Mean in spirit?" "Heartless?"' Leslie asked when she got an idea. She gasped and started acting. "Golly Gee Wilikers! And to think of all those poor losers on my website who keep getting laughed at over and over again. What was I thinking?" Leslie acted. "Oh uh…Thank you, for understanding." Ghost-Spider said. "Well, where are you pleased you have seen the error to your ways." Wonder Woman said.
"Tell you what. Why don't you and the other super hero girls watch my, uh, inter-web theatrical comedy tonight for an extra special announcement... Just for you." Leslie suggested. "Indeed we shall." Wonder Woman said. "What do you think, Ghost-Spider?" she asked, "Well, it would be rude to say no, so sure we'll come." Ghost-Spider said. 'At least it'll be better than Screwball's videos.' she thought to herself. "Then it's settled!" Wonder Woman stated
Then Leslie leaves, but she hides behind a pillar and smirks. "Those suckers don't know what they're in for." she said as she chuckled evilly as electricity sparks were in her eyes.
After that, Leslie was talking on her show.
"Hey everyone out there in Leslie Land. Tonight I've got a special announcement to make. Someone so thoughtfully pointed out my channel is mean in spirit. So therefore I'm retiring. And handing over my site to my new management!" Leslie said as she beggins to leave until… "I'd like to introduce your new host…" Leslie said. Than thunder and lightning was going all over town and thats when Leslie returned but as her alter ego, Livewire. "What up, Metropolis? The name's Livewire. And you thought what Leslie was doing was mean in spirit. Well, you ain't seen nothing yet. I'm gonna super things up. As in super-pranks, super-laughs, and super-humiliation. And Wonder Whiner, Ghost-Winer, the Superhero Girls, just try and stop me!" Livewire said as Karen's laptop shorts out.
"That did not go the way I expected." Diana said. "Ha! Seriously? Ms. Swak Jock thinks she can scare us? Now that's funny." Kara said as she prepared her fists. "Hmm." Diana said. "This isn't going to work well." Kamala said. "For once Kamala, you might be right." Gwen said.
When Supergirl went to handle Livewire, she tried to zap her with absorbed electricity for the street lamps, but Supergirl didn't feel a thing as brushes off her , Livewire absorbed the electricity from the movie theater, making her electricity stronger and pushing her back into the back of the garbage. Next, it was Green Lantern vs. Livewire! Livewire tried to zap her but Green Lantern made a tire construct from her ring because rubber blocks electricity. Then, she disappeared into a street lamp and then reappeared from a man's phone and kicked Green Lantern in the butt! Next, Livewire was trying to impress a crowd with a spectacular appearance, but Zatanna also made a spectacular appearance, which made Livewire send electricity from decorative lights right to Zatanna, causing her hair to get fizzy and mess up. Next, she possessed Batgirl's moped and made it chase her. Finally, when Bumblebee went to fight Livewire, she ended up taking control of her suit and made her do the chicken dance, humiliating herself. Back at Karen's house, the girls were watching the humiliating events that happened to the super heroine.
""These videos are the best. SHGs are the worst. Bumblebee, funniest video ever!"" Babs read the video description. "And I'm never ever, ever coming out again! Ever!" Karen cried as she was inside of her closet. "It's really not that bad, Karen." Jessics said.
"That's it! She has taken this too far!" Gwen said, then she's about to leave the room. "We'll be back." Kamala said. "Where're you going?" Kara asked. "We're going to call a friend." Soon the two were outside. "So how are we going to take care of Livewire exactly?" Kamala asked. "Way ahead of you, Kamala." Gwen said as she grabbed her phone and gave a call. "Hey it's Ghost-Spider here, remember that solid I owe you? Well it's time i return it 'cause we need a little help…" Gwen said as she was on the phone. 'I wonder who she could be calling?' Kamala thought to herself
Meanwhile back in Babs's Room, an incoming announcement came from Livewire's channel.
"Whaddup, Metropolis? Livewire here with a major-razor invite to all my shockateers. Glen Morgan Square. Midnight. Come see my most epic prank yet. And Super-Lamo-Girls, especially you, Wonder Wimp, Ghost-Winer, and Sissy Marvel…" she then gags. "You should come too. If you dare."
A video then played of Livewire kicking Green Lantern's butt. "Hopefully Gwen and Kamala come and help us." Kara said "Don't worry, I'm sure They'll be back with whatever he's planning." Diana said.
Soon, The girls were at Glen Morgan Square to end Livewire's reign of cruelty. However, Wonder Woman noticed the girls were hiding. "Sisters, why so frightened when so many have to come to see us triumph?" Wonder Woman asked. "We're not frightened. It's just they haven't come to see us triumph." Green Lantern said. "They've come to see her make fools of us." Bumblebee cried.
Then the whole crowd was around at Glen Morgan Square as thunder came to the stage, and Livewire appeared. "Whaddup, Metropolis? Are you ready for the prank night of the century?" She asked which than the crowd cheered
"So you may be wondering what Livewire has in store for her beloved shockateers? Let's kick things off as the queen of mean memes unleashes some mean memes." she said as she began a slide show of the latest pranks which made the girls except for Diana, gasp.
"Ha! Explains her recycled outfit." Livewire joked about Supergirl. "I guess Batgirl still needs training wheels." She teased Batgirl. Livewire gasped and said, "Look, everyone. We found the cause of greenhouse gasses." She teased about the way the green lantern was knocked down. "Who wore it better? Zatanna or porcupine?" She asked as she compared the Porcupine to Zatanna's hair. "Looks like bees don't dance, huh?" Livewire teased the video of Bumblebee's dancing, which the whole crowd laughed at all of them.
"But wait a minute. We're missing three. Where are Wonder Weeine, Ghost-Cryer and Ms. Lamer? Did they have the guts to show up tonight?" LiveWire stated. "Come on, Livewire's calling you out."
"Come, sisters, our enemy awaits." Wonder Woman shouted until she saw girls hiding. "Huh? You hesitate?" She asked. "We can't go out there." batgirl said looking nervous. "Girls, you must believe in people's humanity. They are good. They could never laugh when faced with true suffering." Wonder Woman started with a speech then she went off to face livewire. She was walking while the crowd was chattering and snickering. Wonder Woman noticed the people were snickering and giving her mean looks. That was when Livewire spoke! "Hey! Look who's here! Where's Ghost-Whiner and Ms. Lamer.? "They'll be here." WOnder Woman said and drew out her sword. "Livewire, your reign of cruelty and humiliation has reached its end."
"No, I don't think so. If anything, it's only just begun." Livewire said then she attacked, Wonder Woman Screamed and attacked until Livewire blew a kiss of electricity. Wonder Woman got hit and said, "ow" which made everyone laugh. Wonder Woman tries to attack but she can't land a hit as she keeps getting hit by electricity.
"See, Blunder Woman. The people love mean." Livewire said as everyone started laughing. "Hear them laugh? Laughing at you? You're just a joke to them. And now, it's time for the punchline." Livewire said as she gathered electricity and blasts at Diana, than she was knocked out and in pain while everyone was laughing.
"And where's Ghost-Winer Ms. Lamer? Guess they're not as tough as I thought." LiveWire thought until purple energy came right behind her. "Huh?" LiveWire turned around only to get hit in the stomach and fell down in pain. "What in the world?" Livewire said, thats when Ghost-Spider appeared. "Surprise, the cavalry's here." Ghost-Spider Jokes. "Young Gwen?" Wonder Woman said weakly. "I told you we'll be back." Ghost-Spider said as Ms. Marvel came in. "EMBIGGEN!" she shouted as she slammed her giant hands on LiveWire. "Now thats a prank." Ghost-Spider said. "Darn right!" Ms. Marvel said.
Livewire got up and said, "Ghost-Winer and Ms. Lamer?"Now it's time for your humiliation!" she then laughed and then shoots electricity at Ghost-Spider and Ms. Marvel. Then Ghost-Spider used her spider sense to avoid the electricity while Ms. Marvel stretched her hand to a pole to resist the electricity.
Livewire was shocked by this and said, "What?!" "Ooh sorry Lamewire, I have spider sense so I can't be touched." Ghost-Spider jokes. "And thanks to school, the pole is like a lighting rod. That's why I'm called Ms. Marvel!" Ms. Marvel said. Then the two begin to attack, despite LiveWire's electricity, Ghost-Sider and Ms. Marvel were actually winning, they both finished when Ms. Marvel used her elasticity to slingshot Ghost-Spider as she used her bio energy from her feet to kick LiveWire down. "Nice one Ms. Marvel." Ghost-Spider said while doing a fist bump. "Thanks, Ghost-Spider." Ms. Marvel said by accepting the fistbump.
However, Livewire got up and she looked very angry. "So you tagged teamed me, so what? got any other surprises for me?" Livewire mocked that's when she got hit by fire. "Not just one, I got four more surprises. That's when the Fantasticar arrived and then the Fantastic 4 came in. "Oh I'm sorry, did that burn?" Human torch teased. "Cause I'm cooking up a storm!" as he then threw more fire at Livewire. "Now we're even?" Ghost-Spider asked. "You can say that." The thing said, "Now LameWire, guess what time it is…" he continued off. Livewire managed to escape the fire. "Yeah, I'd say it's frying time for you fantasticless 4!" LiveWire shot more electricity at the Thing, but the invisible woman managed to protect him with her force field. "Man she's worse when we battled Frye on one of our first missions. "Given the fact they are similar." Mr. Fantastic said. The field came down. "Thanks Susie." The Thing said. "And what I meant to say was…IT'S CLOBBERIN TIME!"
The Thing jumped up and slammed his fist creating a seismic crack to LiveWire but she managed to dodge it in time.
Livewire was nearly cornered by the duo and the Fantastic 4 until she looks at Diana and smirks. "I may not humiliate all of you but I can still humiliate her!" she then shoots electricity at Wonder woman! "No!" Ghost-Spider shouted. Then, the girls came in and countered the electricity that Livewire was giving them. Wonder Woman joined in as she used her gauntlets to block the electricity.
"You think your friends will save you?" Livewire said then she laughed wickedly and started absorbing electricity all over town which everyone gasped and started clamoring. "What's happening?" Human Torch asked. "She's channeling all of the city's power and storing it in her body, in other words, she's absorbing every electricity from the whole city!" Mr. Fantastic shouted. "Everyone get behind me!" Invisible shouted as the girls and the rest of the fantastic 4 did as she formed a giant force field all over them.
Soon, she blasted all the electricity into one big blast across the city. Outside of the town was a man just sitting until he saw what was going on. "Huh. That was interesting." the man said. Back in town Livewire was just on the smoke looking all burned, while Invisible Woman lowered her sield and the others looked at Livewire.
Livewire laughed maniacally and said, "Huh? Hey, what gives? Why aren't you laughing? This is hilarious. Whatever, losers. If that didn't grab your attention, maybe this will." she than tried to shoot more electricity at the group but nothing happened, which made a girl laughed. "Ooh what the matter low on battery?" Ghost-Spider jokes, because it Turns out Livewire was out of power. Everyone started laughing and started to take pictures.
"Stop it. Stop laughing." Livewire demanded but they didn't. "Stop laughing at me!" she shouted and yelled.
"Guess it's not funny when you're the victim, huh?" Ms. Marvel teased. "Looks like you just got the taste of your own medicine. Losewire!" The thing joked.
Livewire growls than She then uses the last of her powers to escape through a phone. Than Lois got a text. Lois picks up her phone and reads a text '"Later, losers. You haven't seen the last of Livewire."' Lois read than she hangs up. While the crowd was cheering until they calmed down and left.
"Hey girls sorry we were late, It's just I had a solid I owe to them." Ghost-Spider said as she pointed to the Fantastic 4. "Yeah, and we've heard how Livewire was making fun of you guys," Human torch said. "So the lesson here if they mess with the Superhero girls, they mess with the fantastic 4." Invisible Woman said. "Thank you very much Fantastic 4, we all appreciated you for helping us."
Back at Leslie's apartment, she was reading the latest article.
"'"Shocker in Glen Morgan Square. Bull gets what for."' Leslie read until she crumbles up the paper. "I'll show those losers. Just wait till I get my shockateers to…" but before she could do anything, Turns out, all her shockerteers were leaving her.
"My shockateers!" Leslie cried. "Where are they going?" thats when Leslie read the link ""Click here for an even better site?" Ugh!" Leslie clicked on the link to see the Superhero Girls rescuing and cuddling cats. "Seriously?!" Leslie yelled.
This Version of Screwball is a enemy of the Avengers and Ghost-Spider as she does prank, and dangerous viral videos that cause harm much like the screwball from the spider-man ps4 game,in other words, she's the Avenger version of Livewire (DCSHG2019) and of Course, this version of Electro is the Francine Frye and one of the first villains that the Fantastic 4 faced.
