Chapter 50: Fighting A Newcomer! Round Of 16 Vs. Harrison!
The morning of Michael's Round of 16 battle with the mysterious Harrison, Michael had gotten up early and was busy planning his battle strategy during breakfast. Soon the girls, along with Mikey, Brendan, and Wally, had joined him.
Ruby - "Morning Michael. You're thinking of a strategy to use against Harrison?"
Michael - "Morning everyone. And yes Ruby, I am."
Weiss - "So how do you plan on doing it?"
Michael - "To keep is as short as possible, I only need two Pokemon for this battle."
Brendan - "You sure two will be enough?"
Mikey - "Don't worry Brendan. Michael knows what he's doing."
Wally - "If you say so then Mikey."
After breakfast was over, the party made their way over to the Stadium that Michael's battle was taking place in. After a good bit of waiting, Michael and Harrison were escorted out to the battlefield. Audrey was also the Referee for this battle as well.
Audrey - "This will be a 6-on-6 Round of 16 battle between Harrison of Hoenn's Littleroot Town and Michael Masi of Pokémon Island. The battle will continue all Pokémon on one side are unable to continue. Are both trainers ready?"
Both Trainers activate their Battle Disks.
Michael/Harrison - "Ready!"

Michael crossed his arms, silently saying no.

Espeon jumped back, landing next to Michael as Swampert took her place.

Both Pokemon rushed at each other, ready to strike their opponents. Mega Blaziken and Mega Swampert then collided with each other, their attacks caught in a stalemate. After a few tense moments, Mega Swampert overpowered Mega Blaziken and knocked him out.
Audrey - "Mega Blaziken is unable to battle! Mega Swampert wins!"
Harrison's Remaining Pokémon: 1 – 1 = 0
(Music Ends)
Audrey - "All six of Harrison's Pokémon are knocked out! So the winner of the battle and moving on to the Quarterfinal is Michael Masi!"
Michael - "Let's go! Good job Swampert. You too Espeon."
Espeon/Swampert - "Thanks Michael."
Michael then walked to midfield and shook Harrison's hand.
Michael - "Thanks for the fun battle Harrison."
Harrison - "Same to you Michael. And good luck in the next round."
Soon both trainers were escorted back to the locker room. Then Michael was able to join the others for lunch. During the rest of the afternoon and evening, Michael and the girls cheered on Brendan and Wally. During dinner, Michael was visited by a surprise guest.
Michael - "Giovanni and Ariana? What are you both doing here?"
Giovanni - "Along with cheering for you? Cheering for my son Silver as well."
