"Honestly, I was expecting something more… revenge-like." I said as I looked ahead where Katase and Murayama, the bitch duo as I had dubbed them, were trying to stay standing and failing as they fell in a puddle of mud again and again.
"What do you mean? I think this is quite a fun revenge." Aika asked as she cashed another tripping curse on them, followed by a curse that made the puddle smell worse several times.
"To be perfectly honest, I was expecting you to cast some sort of aphrodisiac curse combined with mental curses and then leave them at a brothel; or something similar." I said with a shrug, ignoring the weirded out look Aika was giving me.
"You know, I probably should have realized this sooner since you were the one who told me to get revenge in the first place but… you're kinda twisted aren't you?" The perverted girl said with a raised eyebrow and I merely shrugged. I had decided to kill two innocent guys simply because it was convenient for me, there was no way I could ever deny being twisted.
"No way I would ever let others have those two." But Aika wasn't exactly a pure maiden either.
"Also, I can't just get them to your house."
"When did we decide that we would keep them in my house?"
"I also don't want to expose Asia-chan to them." And she ignored me only a girl talking to their lover about something they decided without telling their partner about it.
Not that I was complaining much since…
{Quest: Magical Revenge!
Objective: Make Kiryuu Aika a mid class magician and help her take revenge on Murayama and Katase[Complete]
Bonus Objective: Make Kiryuu Aika a high class magician.
Reward: 5 Gacha tokens and [Eromancer] class unlocked[Received]
Bonus Reward: [Great Teacher] perk.}
…five gacha tokens and a new class that I would have so much fun while grinding. It was almost impossible to make me feel anything other than joy at the moment. Which would likely change according to the results of gacha but that was later on.
"So… I'm going back home. You coming?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Sure, I'll come… in an hour." She said with a vicious smirk as she casted another curse in the direction of Murayama and Katase, this time making them slip and have their underwear caught in a low hanging branch.
"Do I even want to know how this happened?" I asked to Nemu who was looking at me with her usual emotionless look, which was quite a feat since I knew that I wouldn't be able to hold a poker face while having a half naked woman as beautiful as Yuki hugging my neck; or drooling on my shoulder.
"Tsukumo-san has found the liquor cabinet left behind by Azazel and emptied the half of said cabinet." Nemu said and I decided that I wasn't drunk enough to deal with this shit, and that I likely wouldn't be anytime soon since Yuki had drank all the alcohol.
"Hey, hey, Nemu... how come there are three of you! That's so unfair!" Yuki cried out with red cheeks before starting to giggle.
Yeah... I'm not gonna deal with that.
With that tactical retreat decision, I left Nemu at the mercy of drunkard cursed sorcerer and went to my room. The one place where I did not have to deal with weirdness. A perfect place for me to use powers whose source I had no idea about to summon random objects from wider multiverse!
The result of which were:
Five bento sets
Challenge Token
Avatar Glider
Twelve Kunai
Dragon Skull
The last one might be useful for Aika, undead dragons were pretty damn cool after all, but I was far more interested in the second one; the Challenge Token.
{Challenge Token: An artifact that places the user in a small pocket dimension where a side quest will occur when crushed. Note, the token can not be crushed if the challenge is impossible for the user.}
Not gonna lie, I was very interested about this challenge. Unlike companion gems, it had nothing written on it that might give some sort of an idea about the challenge; it was just a white marble emitting a low glow.
Yet a part of me was somewhat apprehensive of it as well. For all I knew I might end up in another world for years if I crushed it. Or maybe I would have to fight some very OP character that I knew nothing about.
But still, the thought of simply letting my fears rule me didn't sit right with me either. And since this was a 'side quest' it should not actually take that long and even if it turned out to be difficult, well, playing the game always on easy mode would be boring anyway.
So I crushed the Challenge Token, and with a bright flash of light; I was no longer in my room. Instead I was on some sort of island with seas as far as one could see around it, or maybe even further.
"Hmm, this is surprising." I turned around to see the man who just spoke. He was wearing a blue Gi and leather sandals. Though what had gotten my attention was the pair of swords on his waist and his eyes that looked less like that of a human or more akin to that of a tiger's.
"My, what a grand palace of muscle you are." The man said with a smile and my side quest appeared before me.
{Side-Quest: Unparalleled Under the Heavens!
The greatest sword master of all time, Miyamoto Musashi himself stands before you. Defeat him without using any magic.
Rewards: ?}
And then I felt my shoulder get sliced.
