With diary in hand, Princess Zelda leaves the castle. Where can she possibly go? Well, lucky for her, the land of Hyrule is very vast. Her feet carry her further and further away from the castle.

There's no point in turning around. No point in going home. Fate takes Zelda down to Lake Hylia. She stops, staring out at the broad lake with her sorrowful gray eyes.

"Why am I here?" Zelda wonders.

A few Zoras are swimming in the lake. Many more are below the surface. It wasn't too long ago that this lake was dried up, and that Zora's Domain had frozen over. Zelda sat down on a rock by the lake side.

Dear Diary,

I don't know why, but I have traveled to Lake Hylia. I don't intend on returning to Hyrule Castle. Ever. I don't know what to do. I am frustrated, confused, sad… My heart is still aching. I'm also hungry, and now I remember I haven't eaten in awhile. This may be the last time I ever write, but if I do return, it's because something has happened.

Zelda puts her diary down. As she continues staring out at the water, one of the Zoras swims ashore. She approaches and bows respectfully.

"Your Majesty, what brings you down to our humble home?" the Zora inquires.

"I know not why I am here, but I do not intend on returning home," Zelda replies.

"You're the Hylian Princess, you can't stay here. Hyrule needs you," the Zora says.

"I can't return, my father has ruined my life and there is nothing left for me," Zelda says.

"Wait a minute…your father? I thought His Majesty died well before the Zant incident," the Zora comments.

"Yeah, no, he's most definitely alive…" Zelda says with a groan of annoyance.

"If it makes you feel any better, a strange large treasure chest washed down stream into the lake. Nobody has opened it yet, but it likely contains a huge treasure!" the Zora says.

"I mean, it's not going to bring Link back…but, sure…" Zelda says with a heavy sigh.

The Zora runs off to retrieve the treasure chest. Zelda just continues sitting there. After some time, the Zora drags a large, water-logged, treasure chest over to the Princess. A chest this large surely has something good in it.

"Wait a minute… The markings on this treasure chest… I've seen this exact chest somewhere before…" Zelda says.

"Go ahead and open it. I'm kind of curious as to what's inside," the Zora says.

"Okay," Zelda says.

Princess Zelda opens the latch. As she does, a little water gushes out. Dang, the treasure inside is probably ruined… Zelda throws the lid open.

"No way!" Zelda exclaims in shock.
