Prologue- Seriously, giving prophecies was the worst. It feels like your head is going to explode. At least, that's how it was when Shimmer gave her first prophecy. It went somewhat like this;

Eight dragonets to hatch

In three moons' light,

Eight dragonets to hatch

With powers to end the fight.

Eight dragonets born

To stop this war,

The dragonets will come,

Each tribe shall bring forth one.

Shimmer had collapsed in pain afterwards, instantly being crowded by the other dragonets. "Is she alright?" Her friend Glaze had asked. "Shimmer! Please be ok!" Glimmer, her sister had run up beside her. "Please tell me someone wrote that down." The teacher had said, snatching a scroll out of Shade's talons. "Ok, good. Shade, you are doing your job wonderfully." She had said, instantly writing it on a separate piece of paper.

Shimmer's headache was dying down, and she was able to stand again. "Was, was that a prophecy? Are visions and prophecies always that painful?" She looked towards the teacher. "Well, the first few times are bad, the next aren't as good, and after that, nothing." She had said. Wait, wasn't the next brightest night in two years? By then, the RainbowWings could all be gone! That is, if it weren't for the hiding spot Queen Jemnia had planned.

Shimmer had got to go home early because of her prophecy. "Shimmer, are you ok? I heard about the prophecy you you ok!" Her mom was probably overreacting, but Shimmer still felt a little dizzy. "Yes, yes I'm fine. It , I never want to give another prophecy again." Shimmer NEVER wanted to give another prophecy if it hurt like that. Shimmer crawled into her bed with a book of ancient history in Pyrrhia, the so-called "third continent", where some of their ancestors had come from. She wanted to learn more about Tsunami, the fierce ancient SeaWing. So she sat and read until she eventually fell asleep.
