"And he may be right about there being two animals." Xander continued. "Cordy and I found two sets of definitely not human and not recognizable as known animal tracks. But no animal or animal like creature."

"We haven't found anything animal like either." Buffy said. "And if it's a werewolf, then it will be a month before we see anything anyway."

"Why?" Cordelia asked.

"Because werewolves only come out on the full moon, don't they?"

'Except last night wasn't the full moon." Willow projected at Xander. 'Tonight's the night of the full moon.'

"Willow says tonight's the full moon." Xander reported. "Last night was the night before the full moon and Cain admitted to killing a werewolf last night."

"I admit I'm not as familiar with werewolves as I am vampires." Giles said.

"And if that Cain guy is right." Cordelia said. "And it's attracted to something the people on make out hill are giving off and it's not here, than where is it?"

"Pheromones." Giles said. "Animals use pheromones to communicate a variety of different things. Humans use pheromones too, we're just usually not aware of it."

"So, like Cordy said, if it's not here in the woods hunting or being attracted to the kids in the cars," Xander said. "Than where is it?"

"It's winter, the only other two places you'll find kids after dark is the Mall or the Bronze." Buffy said.

"The Bronze!" Cordelia exclaimed. "It's where we'd all be if we weren't hunting this thing."

"She's right." Xander agreed. "And if that Cain guy really doesn't intend to give up, then he's done or will do some homework and figure that out for himself. We need to get there, now! He admitted to killing another werewolf just last night and could be after this other one."

They didn't hesitate, having figured out the most likely place the other werewolf could be, they headed back to their cars and from there to the Bronze. Xander automatically scanned with his heat vision in case there were any vampires inside.

"Giles, I'm not reading any vampires, but I am seeing something on the roof. It's body temperature is higher than a human's. We still haven't encountered any demons, but I feel safe in saying it's neither vampire nor human."

"If it's on the roof, how did it get up there? And is there a way it could get in from the roof?" Giles asked.

"There's a metal stair case in the back of the building that leads up to the roof. This place doesn't have a basement so it's got roof access for the mechanical stuff and it's got skylights, which are usually cracked open even in winter because it can get hot in there with the stage lights." Xander answered.

"So it may have scented the pheromones through the opening in the skylight." Giles concluded, just as screams erupted from inside.

"Damn, it's making it's interest known." Xander jumped to the door and wrenched it open. The girls, followed by Giles, were right behind him.

"Huh, yeah, I'd definitely say that qualifies as a werewolf." Xander observed as he raised the tranq gun and shot it. It howled and charged at him. It was too close and he slammed the butt into its face, hoping he didn't hurt it too badly and watched it drop to the ground.

"Wild animal attack in the Bronze. There's irony for you." He quipped and bent down and rolled it onto it's back and picked it up. He wrapped his arms around its chest and arms and carried it toward the door.

"Was that Xander?" Aura asked Cordelia. "Is that one of the things his Security company does? Catch wild animals and help people?"

"You could say that." She answered with a grin, knowing full well she was feeding the rumor mill as she and the others followed Xander out.

"You know." Buffy said, once they were back outside and Xander was wrapping a length of chain around the werewolf in order to safely transport it away. "If it was just me having to catch that thing, I think we might have had a problem. I'm strong, but I don't know anything about guns and Giles just barely knows anything about them. He probably wouldn't have fired it in there for fear of hitting someone and I might not have been able to hold it, strong as I am, it looks pretty damn strong too. It might have gotten away and hurt someone. Just like Angel might hurt someone. Giles keeps telling me I have to stop being impulsive and stop and think. I think us working together is going a long way toward making things safer in this Hell hole of a town, than me just working alone would."

"There's definitely safety in numbers." Xander agreed as he loaded the werewolf into Giles car.

"Why my car?" Giles asked.

"Because both mine and Cordy's cars are worth a lot more than yours. Meet you all at the library, we can put sleeping beauty in the book cage and than see who it is and Giles can do some research."

"I'm going to take the Willow cat back to my place." Cordelia said. "I'll see you all tomorrow." She gave Xander a kiss and headed out.

Non of them realized they were being watched. Cain hadn't made it to the Bronze yet, since he had to go back to his truck and get another weapon. But Dugan had.
