After our date night, the rest of the weekend and school week seemed to fly by. Before I knew it, it was already Friday. As I made my way to Literature class, I greeted Caroline with a wave.
"Hello love!" I said as I took my seat beside her.
"Hey," she replied, flashing me her captivating smile.
"So, what's on the agenda for tonight?" I inquired, already aware that it was her date night with Stefan.
"Stefan is taking me out,"
"Please don't tell me you're trying to rope me into another double date tonight," I groaned.
"No way!" she laughed.
"Last Friday was a disaster. Plus, tonight is a special night for me and stef"
"Why is that?"
"It's our six month anniversary!" she exclaims with excitement.
"Oh Yeah, hard to believe it's only been six months," I reply, feeling like it's been a lifetime of torment.
"I can't wait, he promised to take me somewhere special tonight."
"Where?" I ask, feigning interest even though I don't really care, but I enjoy seeing her enthusiasm.
"He wouldn't tell me, said he wanted to surprise me. Isn't that sweet?"
"Yeah, he's quite the romantic," I remark sarcastically, rolling my eyes as she remains oblivious.
The professor walks into the classroom, signaling the start of the class. After managing to sound convincing I wish her to have fun at her date night. I head to my remaining classes.

After classes end, I drive home and take a quick nap. Upon waking up, I texted Stef ,that I won't be returning home tonight. There is absolutely no chance I'll stay to listen to their anniversary celebrations.
Just the thought of it makes me want to throw up everywhere in his room. I grabbed my phone and keys , got into my car and headed to the grill for dinner.
While dining alone, I couldn't help but imagine the amazing date Stef must be having with her. Just thinking about their love for each other, made me lose my appetite. She must be looking at him with adoration in her eyes and spending the night showing him how much she loves him. Ugh stop it !
I decided to head back to the apartment before they returned from their date so I could retrieve my sketchbook and keep myself busy.
On my way home, a quick glance at the clock reveals it's only 8 o'clock ,prompting me to speed up to avoid bumping into them when they return from their movie or whatever they were doing. As I insert my key into the door and quietly twist the handle, I brace myself in case they arrived earlier than expected. Upon pushing the door open, my heart drops as I catch sight of them on the couch, engaging in a heated makeout session, their hands were roaming over each other. It seems I misjudged the situation and they cut their date short because they couldn't resist each other.

Just as I was on the brink of sneaking away unnoticed, my attention was abruptly captured by something unexpected. Instead of the familiar sight of blonde hair resting on the couch, I was surprised to see a vibrant flash of red hair bouncing in the same spot.
Bloody hell!
Thats's not Caroline, it's Fucking ,Genevieve!
