A/N: This the first fanfiction I've ever written please give me feedback, and if someone wants to expand upon my idea, feel free to use this story but please let me know because i would also like to read it :).
Chapter 2: The Confrontation
With Ranma now under her ownership, Kasumi wasted no time. She called the authorities and reported Genma for all his misdeeds and crimes, leading to his swift arrest and disappearance from Nerima.
Genma* Kasumi, what have you done? Why did you report me?
Kasumi* Mr. Saotome... no...Genma, you've caused enough trouble for your son and my family. It's time to face the consequences of your actions.
Genma* But...but, I'm Ranma's father. How could you do this, you can't do this to me?
Kasumi* You may be his father, but you failed him in so many ways. I had to do what was right.
Genma* Please, Kasumi, have mercy. I'll change, I promise!
Kasumi* It's too late for that now, Genma. The authorities are on their way.
Genma* Kasumi, how could you betray me like this? We were like family!
Kasumi* Family doesn't do things to harm each other, Genma. You should have thought about that before causing so much chaos.
Genma* But Ranma needs me! I need to guide him, train him!
Kasumi* You've done more harm than good, Genma. It's time for you to face the consequences.
Genma* I'll do anything, Kasumi. Please, give me another chance!
Kasumi* I've given you enough chances, Genma. It's time for you to take responsibility for your actions.
Genma* I never thought you would turn on me, Kasumi. This is a low blow.
Kasumi* Sometimes tough love is necessary, Genma. I hope you can learn from this experience.
Genma* I'll never forget this, Kasumi. You're nothing but a stupid woman, l'll make sure you regret turning against me one day.
Kasumi* Perhaps, Genma. But for now, it's time for you to face the music. Goodbye.
Ranma, bewildered by the sudden turn of events, found himself at Kasumi's mercy.
"You belong to me now," declared Kasumi to a stunned Ranma. "As your owner, you are honor-bound to obey my commands."
Ranma, still in shock, stuttered, "B-but Kasumi, I'm not some pet to be owned. This isn't right."
Kasumi's expression remained unwavering as she replied, "You don't have a choice, Ranma. This is the consequence of your and your father's actions, he's going to face consequences of his actions in jail, and now you must answer for all the mistakes you've made. Consider it a debt to be paid."
Feeling trapped and confused, Ranma sighed in resignation, "Fine, what do you want me to do?"
Kasumi's smile was unsettlingly serene as she leaned in and whispered, "Oh, Ranma, the real question is, what won't I make you do? Welcome to your new life under my ownership."
As Ranma processed the words, a mixture of fear and defiance rose within him. He knew he had little choice but to comply, at least for the time being.
Kasumi's demeanor shifted slightly, her tone softening a touch as she said, "Don't worry, Ranma. I don't plan to make your life miserable. In fact, I am doing all this so i can make everyone happy.
Ranma raised an eyebrow in skepticism, "Make everyone happy? What are you talking about kasumi?")
Kasumi's eyes gleamed with a glint of determination. "Tell me Ranma, ever since you started living in this house, have you ever felt like I did something horrible to you or anyone else for that matter, so can you not trust me, when i say, I'm doing everything to make everyone happy??
Ranma didn't have to think too much to answer that question, he sincerely said - no Kasumi, you're the one and only person that i know who looks out for other peoples well being, i guess i shouldn't have doubted you,
Feeling a flicker of hope amidst his confusion, Ranma nodded slowly. "Okay Kasumi, I'll give it a shot, since you are my owner now, I'll do as you say.
Kasumi's smile returned, warm and inviting. "That's all I ask, Ranma. Together, we can turn this difficult situation into something meaningful."
