John's armor walked through the empty streets of what was once Boston, on his way to the camp Nullsec had set up. He had painted it up in yellow with red accents with things like 'Your ass here' written over one of the boots, 'Eat lead' on the right pauldron, and a red angry face painted on the chest plate with the word 'fuck' written above and 'you' written below. It was the embodiment of how pissed off Nullsec had made him.
He trudged along for a couple hours, a salvaged minigun from his original shuttle in his armor's hands. He could see the radiation levels fluctuating slightly as he walked through Cambridge towards the bridge near Fenway. His proximity sensors would occasionally ping from a wild animal scurrying off from the metal thumps his armor made as he walked through the streets.
He was hoping to see some of the air support he called in from the military soon, or even the Overwatch shuttle that should be coming to pick him up soon, but nothing yet appeared. He marched on, ready to unload a thousand rounds of vengeance upon those who murdered millions in the city that was his home. He would hunt down Ramattra himself and use his head as a hood ornament.

Angela paced nervously inside the transport that Echo piloted. Reinhardt sleeping in a seat while Brigitte finished working on part of her armor before reattaching it. "Angela, he's gonna be alright." she said as she heard the click of the piece locking into place.
"We don't know that." Angela said as she continued to pace. "Boston is a radioactive nightmare right now. And he has been in the heart of it for two weeks now. He could be suffering from heavy radiation poisoning and not even realize it."
"Does that medical facility you built there treat radiation poisoning?"
"Well, yes, but..."
"Then he will be fine." Brigitte reassured her. "Besides, you said he had some armor that could deal with radiation."
"The problem is that armor wasn't done before he was killed again." Angela explained. "And I don't think he had what he needed to finish it..."
"Arriving at Fenway stadium in five minutes." Echo said from the cockpit.
"Thank you, Echo." Angela said as Brigitte shook Reinhardt awake.
...
The shuttle circled overhead of the stadium as the agents inside watched in awe as a lone suit of armor fired long bursts from a minigun, cutting through most of the Nullsec drones and the equipment they were setting up. As the minigun's ammo ran dry, the armor tossed it aside and pulled what looked like several road signs lashed together with powerlines before beating the incoming drones apart with them. The skirmish lasted all of two minutes, and the armor motioned for the shuttle to land.
Angela used her suit to rush to the armored figure as he picked up the minigun in one hand and began marching to the shuttle. "Sweetheart, are you alright?!" she asked as she walked beside him as he climbed the ramp.
He said nothing until he got inside and triggered the armor to open up, allowing him to pull himself out of the tin can and into the arms of an Angel... who immediately began using a portable scanner to check him for injuries. "I am gonna hunt that metal piece of shit down and turn him into a lawn chair!" he finally yelled as he was finally free.
"He makes it difficult to track him or his group." Reinhardt said as he looked at the armor in front of him and chuckled. "This is an entertaining paint job!"
"You only seem to have minor damage from radiation by some miracle. That and some scrapes and bruises from working on the armor I assume." Angela said as she grabbed her staff and triggered it's healing effect.
"Good guess, Angel." John said as he felt the relaxing effect of her staff wash over him.
"What I don't understand is how you were able to come back at all? You were vaporized by a nuclear explosion! Almost every country on earth is taking a hard look at where Null Sector is so they can be eradicated."
"No idea, but that would explain why I had to drag myself through the base to have new limbs attached." he said as he pulled himself to his feet, and wobbled a bit as he did.
"When did you last get some sleep?" Angela asked as she walked him over to a seat.
"I don't know, two? three days ago?" he said as he thought about it while sitting down. "I was too pissed off and needed to get the armor finished to worry about it."
Angela sighed deeply as she sat down next to him. "I don't know how you function without me." she said as she pulled him into her arms and after a short while she could hear the rhythmic breathing of her sleeping lover.
"You two do make a good couple." Brigitte said with a smirk before she walked up to Echo to let her know they could head back.
Mercy hummed as she rested her head on top of John's and let the hum of the shuttle carry her to sleep as well.
