Rwby: Heroes
What does it mean to be a huntsman? Fighting Grimm? Killing monsters? Protecting the innocent? I see none of this as what it means to be a huntsman. No. What's the point of being a huntsman if you not a good man to start with?"
Ruby rose date unknown.
A ship flies through the skies over Vale and down to the city streets. The owner of the Dust shop "From Dust Till Dawn" is hanging a sign declaring its re-opening. As he climbs down from his ladder, he stumbles and falls. Emerald Sustrai appears next to him.
Emerald giggled 'Scuse me, sorry. I'm not really from around here." She helps him to his feet. "Would you mind pointing me in the direction of this shop?" Emerald produces a piece of paper with writing on it and the shopkeep looks it over.
The shopkeeper nods "Hmm? Mm-hmm."
Emerald walks away from the shop owner as both wave goodbye and passes Mercury Black at a corner.
Mercury looks at him "I knew you were lost."
"Mercury, I will seriously pay you to shut up." She produces a wallet with Lien and waves it in Mercury's face.
Mercury shakes his head "That's not your money."
Emerald looked hopeful at him "But it can be yours for 5 minutes of silence."
Mercury thinks for a moment "Mmmm... no deal."
Emerald huffs "Fine." Emerald takes the Lien and tosses the wallet, turning to walk away.
Mercury chuckled "Whatever. You want me."
More of the city is shown, including a café where two extras sit chatting. Mercury and Emerald are walking through the city.
"So, how much farther?" Mercury said
Emerald sighed "A few blocks."
Mercury groans "Ugh... this place is so dull."
"Eh, I kinda like it. Tall buildings, diverse culture…"
"And nice dopey people who are easy to pickpocket." Mercury said
Emerald stops. "That's every city."
Mercury play acts as a victim. "Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!"
Emerald glares at him, groaning angrily. She then walks away from him.
Mercury shakes his head "Ugh... you're no fun today."
Mercury follows behind Emerald. The scene shifts to Emerald and Mercury entering a shop full of books. The shop owner can be heard humming a tune. Mercury stops near the door to look at books while Emerald approaches the counter and rings a service bell.
The shop owner calls out from the back "Be right there!" Emerald looks back at Mercury. The shop owner is seen through a set of double doors carrying stacks of books as he walks backwards and out toward the counter. "Welcome to "Tukson's Book Trade", home to every book under the sun!" He sets the stacks down "How may I…" he Turns around, he gasps and hesitates upon recognizing the two of them. Mercury is now holding a book. "How may I help you?"
Although the book is open, Mercury is looking at Tukson. "Just browsing." He shuts the book.
"Actually, I was wondering, do you have any copies of "The Thief and The Butcher"?"
Tukson nods "Yes we do."
Emerald grins excitedly "That's great."
"Would you... like a copy?"
Emerald shakes his head "No, just wondering." Mercury closes another book. "Oh, oh! What about "Violet's Garden"? In paperback?"
"He's got it. Hardback too." Mercury says as he produces a book.
Emerald looks up thinking "Ooh, options are nice."
Mercury grunts "Eh, no pictures." Mercury closes the book. And looks up "Hey! Do you have any comics?"
"Near the front."
Emerald then speaks up "Oh, no, wait! What... about... "Third Crusade"?"
At this Tukson hesitates, visibly unnerved. "Um... I…" Mercury and Emerald are shown to be eyeing him carefully. "...don't believe we carry that one."
Mercury slams another book shut. "Oh."
"What was this place called again?" Emerald asked
Tukson sighed "Tukson's Book Trade."
"And you're Tukson?"
Tukson nods "That's right."
"So then I take it that you're the one that came up with the catchphrase?"
Tukson again nods "Yes."
"And, what was it again?"
Tukson sighs "Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun."
"Except the Third Crusade." Mercury said
"It's just a catchphrase."
"It's false advertising!" Mercury argued
Emerald looks up at him "You shouldn't make a promise you can't keep, Tukson." Mercury activates a switch near the entrance causing a front window to darken. "I hear that you're planning on leaving. Moving all the way to Vacuo." Mercury activates another switch and the window in the front door darkens. "Your brothers in the White Fang won't be happy to hear that." Mercury activates the third and final switch, darkening the last window as he smiles creepily at Tukson. "And neither are we... You know who we are, don't you?"
Tukson looks grim "Yes."
"And you know why we're here?"
"Yes."
"So... are you going to fight back?"
"Yes!" Tukson said jumping up and produces claws from his fingers. "Yaargh!"
Tukson leaps atop his counter in a threatening manner. Mercury and Emerald back up slightly and he leaps at Emerald and slashes at her, but she dodges. He looks forward and is surprised at Mercury as he raises one leg for a kick with his shotgun-greaves.
Mercury and Emerald exit "Tukson's Book Trade". Emerald stretches her arms overhead. Mercury is carrying a comic.
Emerald looks over at Mercury "What's with that?"
Mercury shrugs "Eh I like the pictures." He said as he closed the comic
At beacon Team RWBY is sitting in the cafeteria, while Blake is looking at her notebook
A series of sketches and notes mark the next scene. These include the White Fang insignia, a possible picture of Adam Taurus, and Adam's rose. In the Beacon Academy cafeteria, Team RWBY are sitting together as Blake looks over some notes. Yang then slides up next to her partner.
"Whatcha doing?" Yang said
Blake startled Denys everything "Nothing." Blake closes her book. "Just going over notes from last semester."
Yang catches a grape in her mouth. Which was thrown by Nora.
Yang smiled at her "Lame."
Nora giggles as she continues to toss grapes at Yang with her spoon. Yang catches the fruit with ease, giving Nora the thumbs up. Ruby, giving an enormous heave, slams a binder onto the table, catching everyone off guard. On the cover of the binder is written "Vytal Festival Activities, Property of Weiss Schnee". This has been hastily crossed out with a red marker pen, and with the same pen, a new title, "Best Day Ever Activities", has been written underneath.
Ruby clears her throat, She gestures to everyone at the table. "Sisters... friends... Weiss." Emphasized that Weiss was neither of the first two
"Hey!"
Ruby begin her speech "Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream."
Yang nods to Blake excitedly who giggles "This ought to be good." As She catches another berry in her mouth.
Ruby continues "A dream that one day, the four of us will come together, as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... ever!"
Weiss looks at her leader accusatory "Did you steal my binder?"
Ruby makes "peace" signs with both hands. "I am not a crook."
Blake looks up "What are you talking about?"
Ruby stands higher "I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!" She points her finger at Blake.
Yang always the joker had to butt in "I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?"
Everyone looks at Yang depressed as Ruby is contemplating if a Mach 5 slap would kill her sister.
Fortunately An apple is tossed at Yang and hits her in the face which seems to do the job as Yang glares at Nora.
"Boooooooooooooooo!"
Ruby looks at her team "Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow! Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today."
"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store."
Yang, still glaring, picks up an apple and tosses it across the room. Offscreen, an unfamiliar voice shouts "Hey!" and Nora can be heard giggling.
"I don't know. I think I might sit this one out." Blake said
Weiss looked at her "Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team!"
Nora I'd heard screaming "I got it!"
Weiss stands up getting everyone attention "I for one think that…" Weiss is interrupted by a pie landing on her face. As everyone looked shocked
Nora is shown to be the one who threw the pie, she sits down and points at Ren who has his head in his palm. Pyrrha's hand is over her mouth and Jaune simply sits staring wide-eyed while covering his ear with his palm.
Outside the cafeteria, Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias are walking together as Sun relates the events which took place during the last semester
Neptune scoffs "Man, that's harsh."
"I know, we were fighting side by side. She was super fast and I threw a banana at the guy, which sounds gross, but it was awesome."
Neptune smiles at his leader "Nice!"
Sun grins "Right? And the best part is, she's a Faunus." He freezes and covers his mouth before saying to his teammate "But that's a secret, okay?"
Neptune nods "Got it."
Sun leans in close in order to stress the importance of this secret.
"And not a, "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret", I'm talking secret secret."
Neptune reeles back "Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it." Lowering her voice to almost whispering "I got it!"
Sun nods "You better." They walk past the windows into the cafeteria where food splatters into the panes as students run around. At one point, Jaune is the one splattered into the window. "I just don't want to screw this up, you know? The people here are the coolest and if I can be honest quiet terrifying! No offense to you guys."
Neptune nods "None taken."
Sun smiled "They're just in here. I'm really excited for you to meet them. So be cool, okay? You're gonna be cool, right?"
"Dude."
Neptune's pose Cooley. Neptune's teeth gleam as he smiles. His teeth glinted in the sun.
Sun nods "Good point."
Sun and Neptune entered the cafeteria where students are heard screaming.
"Food fight!" A Beacon Student screamed Many students are shown stampeding out the door past Sun and Neptune, the latter of whom is looking quite worried.
"Ahahahaha!"
Team JNPR are shown to be standing atop a tower of tables stacked in a ramshackle manner. Nora standing on the top hands on her hips
Nora in a sing-song voice "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"
Ruby Stomps her foot on a table kicking up a metal tray pointing at Team JNPR. "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" Ruby crushes a carton of milk in her hand. "It will be delicious!
Team RWBY Raised their fists simultaneously. "Yeah!"
"Off with their heads!" Nora said as she jumps down from the top of her tower, and the food fight begins. As Jaune and Pyrrha start chucking melons at there foes
Ruby snaps her first orders "Yang! Turkey!"
Yang rolls over to the turkeys and sticks her fists inside them, proceeding to block and punch the melons as they speed toward her.
The fighting is evenly matched with each team member being faced with there equivalent opponent. Blake and Pyrrha spar with Bread rolls, Weiss and Ren fence with fish and Jaune is staying back commanding the team. To be fair Ruby stayed in the back commanding her team as well
After some fighting, Nora knocks Weiss into a pillar. The impact knocks her out and Ruby holds her in her arms as the pillar collapses around them.
Ruby I'd Cradling Weiss "Weiss, Weiss! Don't leave me! Nooo!" There is a crash as plates are smashed
Ruby lays Weiss down as she gets up she notices her hands are shaking, before she used her other hand to stop it. As The fighting resumes, Ruby looks around as Nora goes to attack Yang and sends her past the roof.
Things have gotten out of hand, worst still if these continued Then this food fight would be the least of Beacons problems. No Ruby had to end this now.
Ruby crouched low and prepared to use her semblance full speed that way to make sure she used up as much of her combat lust as possible before it became catastrophic.
'I'm sorry everyone it's for the best.' She thought
"Grrn!" Ruby grunted as she ran breaking the sound barrier in 1-5 seconds as she ran the distance of the cafeteria.
The fight ended with JNPR slammed against a cracked wall painted with soda and food. Team JNPR slides off the wall, leaving only their outlines.
Sun smiles at there antics "I love these guys."
Next to Sun Neptune is drenched with soda and is not pleased. The doors behind them open and Glynda enters the room growling. She proceeds to use telekinesis to re-organize the room. Before chastising them
"Children, please." she adjusts her glasses. "Do not play with your food!"
Nora burps aloud as both Team JNPR and Team RWBY try and fail to compose themselves. A screaming Yang then crashes from the ceiling into one of the tables. Glynda grumbles. Ozpin approaches and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Let it go."
Glynda sighs "They're supposed to be the defenders of the world."
And they will be, but right now they're still children." He looks to Team RWBY who are laughing together. "So why not let them play the part?" As Ozpin start to walk away from Glynda. "After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever."
Glynda looks over at Ozpin as he stops "Oh Glynda. Inform Ruby that James is coming soon I hope to speak to her before he gets here." He said
In an old warehouse, the White Fang are moving crates as Emerald and Mercury enter.
Roman turns around "Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" Roman approaches the two from behind and wraps his arms around them in a group hug.
Emerald shivers in disgust "Spare us the thought of you procreating."
Emerald and Mercury pull away from Roman.
"That was a joke. And this... just might tell me where you two have been all day." Roman produces a piece of paper. That he nicked off Emerald
Emerald looks down shocked "What!? Agh…"
Roman takes a bow "I'm a professional, sweetheart. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something." He Holds up the piece of paper. "Why do you have this address?"
Emerald steps forward "Wouldn't you like to know?"
"Yeah, I would. Now where have you been all day?"
"Cleaning up your problems. One of them, at least." Mercury said
Roman grit his teeth "I had that under control."
Mercury smiled "Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise."
Roman raised his cane "Listen, you little punk. If it were up to me, then I would take you and your little street rat friend here and…" when above him a voice echoed through out the Wearhouse.
"Do what, Roman?"
The women in the red dress appears on a platform above them. She steps onto an automated lift, riding it down to their level.
Roman laughs nervously "I'd, uh... not kill them?"
Emerald turns around excitedly "Cinder!"
Cinder walks forward towards Roman "I thought I made it clear that you would eliminate the would-be runaway."
Roman looks away "I was going to…"
"He was going to escape to Vacuo! Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat."
Mercury looks to Emerald "I think he was some sort of cat, actually."
"What? Like a puma?"
Mercury smiled "Yeah, there ya go."
Cinder glared at them "Quiet. Did I not specifically instruct you two to keep your hands clean while in Vale?"
As Cinder speaks, Roman points a finger at the pair while laughing in agreement.
Emerald looks down "I just thought…"
Roman uses his fingers to mime having a slit throat.
"Don't think... obey."
Emerald looks apologetically "Yes ma'am. It won't happen again."
Cinder turns to Roman "And you. Why wasn't this job done sooner?"
As Roman speaks, he points to his right, then to his left, then behind him. "Uh..? Eh..? Eh..? EHHHHH! Sorry if I've been busy stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom!"
"You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Emerald laughs at the remark.
Roman shakes his head "Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with! Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might actually make my next string of robberies go a little smoother!" He emphasizes the last word by clenching his fist.
Cinder approaches Roman. "Oh, Roman. Have a little faith." As She places her hand on his face. "You'll know what you need when you need to know it." Roman seems entranced, but then looks away with a grunt. "Besides, we're done with Dust." As She begins to walk away.
"O-okay, then what now?"
Cinder looked back "We're moving. Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight."
Roman looks confused "Coordinates?"
Cinder Looks back at Roman. "We're proceeding to phase two."
Cinder, Mercury and Emerald begin to walk away. Roman attempts to light a cigar, but realizes Emerald has stolen his lighter. She turns back to face him and sticks her tongue out defiantly.
Outside of Beacon a large fleet of atlas ship are seen descending upon a landing pad. While others stay up in the air. Ozpin and Glynda can be seen through the window into Ozpin's office
Ruby is walking into the office as the two of them are just watching. Ruby walked up to the Headmaster
"Headmaster I have a question?" She asked
"Hmm?"
"I'm wondering if I should tell my team the truth about what happened last semester, about my eyes." She said
Ozpin looks out the window "on the contrary Ms. Rose, while this meeting is about what you can bring to the table, what you tell your team is in fact your own prerogative, and I do in fact trust your judgment."
Ruby nodded "I'm not sure what I can add but I'll see what I can do." She said
Ozpin looks over to her. "Glynda informed me you read the book I gave you before first semester? Tell me did you read it cover to cover?"
Ruby nodded "I'm not sure exactly what I'd consider true or not but yeah." She said
Ozpin nodded "Ah that makes this easier, but please sit down, you'll need it." Ruby did so as Ozpin turned around to face her.
"Tell me Miss Rose from the book that you read What's your favorite fairy tale?"
Ruby had her world rocked. Not as rocked as others seeing as she knew that some stuff was possible especially with her silver eyes but the full scope of it was…unsettling.
"So this…women…Salem she controls the Grimm?" Ruby asked
Ozpin nodded
"And you believe that my…genetic's might help turn the tide against her?" Ruby said
Ozpin nodded
Ruby sighed "This is a lot to process, give me a few minutes." She said as two Bullheads flew past the window.
This got Ruby's attention as she moved to stand in between the two teachers.
"Quiet the air show." Ruby said
Glynda scoffs "Ironwood certainly loves bringing his work wherever he travels."
"Well, running an academy and a military makes him a busy man." He said as three more Bullheads fly in. "But yes, those are a bit of an eyesore."
A chirping beep sounds repeatedly by Ozpins desk. Ozpin turns to see a hollow-message "Access Requested" on his desk. He looks to Ruby "Come in."
the doors as slide open to reveal Ironwood as Ozpin approaches to greet him.
"Ozpin!"
Ozpin stands at attention.
"Hello, General."
Ruby holds her hand to her mouth as she giggles
Ironwood waved him off "Please, drop the formalities." As Both approach and shake hands as Glynda also approaches. "It's been too long. And Glynda! It has certainly been too long since we last met."
"Oh, James!" As she gives a personable wave and then drops all pleasantries. "I'll be outside." As She walks away.
Ironwood turned back to Oz "Well, she hasn't changed a bit." Before he notices Ruby.
"Ozpin?" He asked
"James, this is Miss Rose, she will be joining us this meeting,"
"Miss Rose? Summer?" Ironwood asked
"Was my mother." Ruby said
Ironwood nodded "Ah, an incredible women." He nods solemnly towards Ruby also noticing her silver eyes.
While they were talking Ozpin turned to his desk "So, what in the world has brought you all the way down from Atlas?" He picks up a mug and a kettle, pouring as he speaks. "Headmasters don't typically travel with their students, for the Vytal Festival." He turns and offers the cup to Ironwood.
"Well, you know how much I love Vale this time of year." Ironwood produces a canteen from his inside coat pocket and pours its contents into his mug. "Besides, with you hosting, I thought that this might be a good opportunity for us to catch up."
"Should I leave too?" Ruby asked
Both men spoke at the same time
"Yes" said Ironwood.
"No" said Ozpin. Ironwood looks at Ozpin dissatisfied before sighing. Ozpin walks around to his desk, kettle and a new mug in hand. Ozpin sits and pours himself some coffee. "James, I can certainly appreciate the quality time between friends, however, a small fleet outside my window has me concerned."
"Well, concern is what brought them here."
"I understand that travel between kingdoms has become increasingly difficult." Which caused Ruby to snort
Ironwood looked at Ozpin dissapointed "Oz, you and I both know why I brought those men."
Ozpin Takes a drink and sets down his mug. "We are in a time of peace. Shows of power like this are just going to give off the wrong impression." Ironwood sets his mug down. As he leaned on the desk
"But if what Qrow said is true…"
"If what Qrow said is true, then we will handle it tactfully. Besides with Miss Rose here there isn't much she can actually do to us so long as we train her properly." Ozpin emphasizes this as he holds up an index finger. "It's the Vytal Festival. A time to celebrate unity and peace. So I suggest that you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent."
Ironwood sighed "I'm just being cautious."
Ozpin nods "As am I. Which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can."
Ironwood sighs "Believe me, I am." As Ironwood turns and walks away. He stops near the door and looks back at Ozpin. "But ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe your children can win a war?" He continues on his way to the exit.
Ozpin shakes his head "I hope they never have to."
Ruby came up next to Ozpin "well he was chipper."
Ozpin smiled "indeed, but you get use to it."
Ruby nods her arms crossed "I think I understand My uncle's abrasiveness towards him now."
Ozpin sighed "Your uncle is.. a character."
"That's putting it mildly." Ruby said as she heads toward the door herself, "I should get back to my team make sure they don't cave in the dorms or something like that." She said
Ozpin smiled "Indeed Your teammates would be very pleased to see you in one piece."
Ruby shook her head "I keep forgetting you know everything."
"Not everything Miss Rose but I keep track of what's important, speaking of which this usually doesn't happen until after your first year but within the week the teachers will be gauging the skills of the teams and ranking them. For the Vytal festival."
Ruby nods "I assume you want me to limit my semblance?" She asked
"On the contrary I think seeing a huntress as young as you, and as powerful as you are would do alot of good for the citizenry of Vale."
Ruby paused "Your trying to counter Ironwood's military with me." Ruby said
Ozpin smiled "That Is if you're up for it. I will not force you into this Ruby.
Ruby thought for a moment, before asking "if I were to accept, can you guarantee that Salem wouldn't get information about my existence?"
Ozpin shook his head "That I cannot, but so long as she doesn't know your eyes are active. I believe I can keep your risk to a minimum."
Ruby looked at Ozpin. "Did you do the same thing with my mother?"
Ozpin looked at Ruby and nodded "Yes I did."
"Is her accepting this role what caused her to die?" Ruby asked sternly.
Ozpin hesitated for a second before nodding "Yes it was."
Ruby turned back toward the elevator "Can you give me some time to think about this?"
"You have until the end of the month Ms Rose." Ozpin said
Ruby nodded as she left, leaving the Headmaster alone.
Ruby found her teammates in their dorm planning what to do next when Ruby walked in.
"Blake sweep the room for bugs." Ruby commanded Weiss soundproof the windows and doors. Yang?"
Yang just nodded and got out a ton of blankets to cover up and gaps of light.
After it was done the details of the meeting between Team RWBY would be lost to time. But at the end of the day the world view of Team was shocked.
"So that's what happened." Weiss said
Ruby nodded
"Can you do it again?" Yang asked
"Only in the presence of Grimm," Ruby explained.
"Still everything else the headmaster told you is… extensive." Blake said
"I know it seems far fetched." Ruby said
"Far fetched? Ruby, you're talking about actual magic." Weiss said
Ruby nodded "believe me I know, but I've seen it." Ruby said
"Wait, you have when?" Yang asked
Ruby sighed "the day Roman escaped me. When I met Goodwitch there was a woman in the bullhead. Her clothing lit up when she attacked."
"Dust infused?" Blake suggested
"She was able to point at the ground and make it explode." Ruby said
"Any trace mixtures could have done that." Weiss said
"She blocked my Sniper shots with her hand." Ruby said
That her team had no way to explain.
"Still though." Weiss said
Ruby sighed shaking her head at how they couldn't accept what was in front of them "Whether you believe or not doesn't matter, just know that Ozpin will be keeping an eye on us. And I will from time to time be called into his office."
The others nodded "ok then sis what's next?"
Deciding to get off such a heavy topic she smiled at everyone.
"How about we play a board game?" Ruby asked
"I think that would be great Sis what would you like to play?"
"How about Remnant: The game?" Ruby suggested with a smile.
And thus Team RWBY found itself In the Beacon Academy library, Team RWBY are shown playing Remnant: The Game. Everyone is interested except Blake, who is obviously distracted, before finally landing on Ruby, who has been contemplating her next move.
"Hmmmmm... All right... All right!" She Points at Yang. "Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!"
Yang Thrusts her elbow down as she balls her fist. "Bring it on!"
"I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!" She Slaps her card down on the table. Yang feigns a look of shock. "Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!" As she Makes noises like airplanes flying and bombing as she makes a bird with her hands.
Yang Feigning indignance as she points at Ruby. "You fiend!"
Ruby is now ducked at one end of the table. "And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn." Ruby peaks her head up. She gives a look of surprise as, Yang can be heard laughing arrogantly.
Yang raises a card. "Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card!" Yang shows the card to Ruby. Ruby is visibly disturbed. "Whaaat?!"
"Giant Nevermore!" She slams the card down on the table. "If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!"
Ruby points at Yang. "But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!"
Yang smiled "That's just a chance I'm willing to take." The two glare at each other. As Yang rolls and Yang is heard shouting triumphantly.
Team JNPR are shown as Yang and Ruby banter on about the game. Ren and Pyrrha are studying, and Nora's snot bubble inflates and deflates as she sleeps.
"Nooooo! My fearless soldiers!"
Yang shrugs "Eh, most of them were probably androids."
"Goodbye my friends, you will be avenged."
"Not until I draw my rewards! Which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route!"
"Bah!"
Nora snores and talks in her sleep "Oh. Have pancakes."
"Oh, and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?"
Pyrrha clears her throat and then confiscates a comic book Jaune is reading, trading it for a textbook.
Ruby groans "Bah! Bah, I say!"
Yang smiled "I say, it looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!"
As Pyrrha reads Jaune's comic, a Nevermore player piece is tossed over Jaune's shoulder. Another piece bounces off of his head.
Ruby: groaned "Have you no heart?" Ruby collapses on the table, "Nooo!"
Yang looks over "Well, Weiss, it's your turn."
Weiss is confused "I have... absolutely no idea what's going on."
Yang slides up beside her and puts her hand on her shoulder. "Look, it's easy! You're playing as Vacuo which means that all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus."
"That sounds dumb."
Yang starts looking through Weiss' cards. "See, you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge... Oh, oh!" As She pulls up a card to show Weiss. "Resourceful Raider! See, now you can take Ruby's discarded Air Fleet—."
Ruby is still crying "Nooo!"
"—and put it in your hand!"
Weiss still not understanding it all the way "Okay."
"And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance against Natural-based hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom!" Yang points a finger at Weiss. "Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war." As She pulls away and returns to her seat.
"And that means…?"
"You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!"
Weiss stands and a thunder clap accompanies Weiss' overjoyed psychotic laughter. "Y-yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and weep as they take your children from your very arms!"
"Trap card." Yang's arm appears holding the card.
Weiss snaps a look at her opponent "Huh?"
Yang shuffles the pieces on the board, Weiss' pieces disappearing in a puff of smoke. "Your armies have been destroyed."
Weiss slumps in her chair, cries and whines. "I hate this game of emotions we play!"
Ruby hops into Weiss' lap.
"Stay strong, Weiss! We'll make it through this together!"
"Shut up!" Weiss said as she hugs Ruby. "Don't touch me!"
Yang Puts her arms up behind her head. "Alright Blake, you're up!"
Blake looks up "Oh, um, sorry, what am I doing?"
Yang smiled "You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the Kingdoms of Remnant!"
Blake nods "Right."
Suddenly Jaune is Approaching the table. "Hey! Can I play?"
"Sorry Jaune, we've already got 4 people." Ruby shrugged
"Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt that you possess." Weiss said until
Yang pointed out "Uhh, you attacked your own naval fleet 2 turns ago." Weiss makes an annoyed sound.
Jaune get a compatible look in his eyes "Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I have been told that I am a natural born leader!"
Weiss chortles "By who? Your mother?"
"her as well but mostly Pyrrha!"
Pyrrha is waving in the background "Hello again!"
Jaune is Begging with both hands folded together. "Come on, let me play your hand for a turn!"
Weiss reels her hand back "I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!"
Jaune scoffs "Why not? You've trusted me with way more important stuff before. I mean, you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fa-."
As Pyrrha darts over and slaps a hand over Jaune's mouth. "-Fun-loving person, whom we all admire and respect." Jaune laughs nervously.
Everyone looks nervously at Blake who looks obviously annoyed that her secret is out.
Jaune nods relizing he pissed off another Sexy yet dangerous women he excuses himself. "Right. That. Ladies, enjoy your battle." He looks at Ruby and sees her hand " Ruby is there a reason your holding back here?"
Everyone looks to Jaune and at Ruby who shrugged "I got the perfect hand I decided to limit myself to see how well I could last for a longer game."
"Ruby how soon could you have won?" Yang asked stunned
"5 turns ago." Ruby said
"BUT-Wha- we're on turn four!" Yang said
Ruby shrugged "yea the random troop placement worked in my favor." She shrugged
At this point knowing what was going on better Jaune Bows as Pyrrha walks away. Footsteps can be heard as Sun approaches 'Sup losers.
Sun appears holding his fingers in a "peace" sign.
Ruby waved "Hey Sun!"
Neptune is next to Sun.
Sun nods to the ladies "Ruby, Yang, Blake... Ice Queen."
"Why does everyone keep calling me that?" Weiss asked to no one but herself as the others giggled.
"I never got a chance to formally introduce you to my old friend." Sun said ignoring Weiss
"Uhh, aren't libraries for reading?" Neptune asked looking around l.
Ren throws his arms up, done with everything. "Thank you!"
Nora pops her head up a loud snort is heard from her as she wakes "Pancakes!"
Sun turns to his teammate "Shut up. Don't be a nerd."
Neptune shakes a finger at Sun getting his leaders attention proving his point. "Geh, geh, geh, geh! "Intellectual", okay? Thank you." Before waving "I'm Neptune."
" So Neptune, where are you from?" Weiss asked with a hint of a blush on her face.
Ruby snapped her head over to Weiss suddenly very focused on this conversation at the moment.
Neptune steps forward "Haven." As he Approaches Weiss. "And I don't believe I've caught your name, snow angel."
Ruby's breath hitched for a brief second.
Weiss blushes "Um, I'm Weiss." She responded getting swooned by the player before her.
Jaune mutters under his breath "Are you kidding me!?" Ruby was of the same opinion as Jaune here why was this blue headed Cockroach going after her Weiss? 'Wait sense when was it her Weiss?' Ruby thought.
"Pleasure to meet you." Neptune said hitting off with Weiss quiet well.
Ruby closed her eyes, before her smile returned.
Sun looked at Blake "I never took you as the board game playing type."
As Blake responds, she shoves Sun aside and leaves the room. "Right, well, I think I'm done playing actually. I'll see you guys later."
Everyone is confused at this action as well except for Ruby who just sighed sadly watching her teammate leave them once again.
Nora shrugs and just states getting everyone's attention "Women."
Jaune used this opportunity to pick up Blake's cards and sit down looking at Ruby with a grin. As she rolled her eyes and smiled at Jaune.
In Team RWBY's room. the night sky seen through the window over to Blake as she sits with her knees folded to her chest on her bed. Voices can be heard echoing in her head. As he has a flashback to the night at the docks "Brothers of the White Fang, why are you aiding this scum?"
"The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together." Roman taunted in her head
The sounds of battle in her head include slashes, grunts, gunfire, and Torchwick's laughter. Before cutting to a more recent incident with The Headmaster. After the incident in one of Beacons interrogation rooms.
"Well, this has certainly been an eventful evening."
Blake looks up at the headmaster "Hmph."
Blake is sitting in an interviewing office as Ozpin enters. Blake quietly acknowledges his statement.
"I'm sure that after a night of thwarting attempted robbery, you probably just want to go home and take a nap. But, I was hoping that maybe we could have a chance to talk."
Blake nods "Of course." Seeing no reason to disagree with the headmaster.
Ozpin smiled "Wonderful. As you know, in order to enroll at my academy, students must first pass a rigorous entrance exam. Most applicants spend years of preparation training at one of the many combat schools around the world. You are one of the few that did not. And you passed the exam with flying colors."
Blake shrugged seeing no reason to lie here. "I was raised outside the kingdoms. If you can't fight, you can't survive."
Ozpin looked towards Blake with a faint smile "Well, you have most certainly survived, Blake. I admire your drive. And I am proud to run a school that accepts individuals from all walks of life. Rich, poor, Human…" he Sips his coffee. With a dramatic pause "Faunus…"
Blake glares at him but remains silent.
Ozpin looks sadly at her shaking his head asking the question "Why do you wear that bow, Blake? Why hide who you are?"
Blake looks around the empty room "You may be willing to accept the Faunus, Professor Ozpin, but your species is not."
Ozpin nods having to concede her point "True, but we are continuing to take strides to lessen the divide."
Blake huffed not accepting the answer. "With all due respect, you need to start taking some larger strides. Until then, I'd rather avoid any unnecessary attention. I want people to see me for who I am, not what I am."
Ozpin leaned closer towards his student then to ask the next question "And what are you?"
Blake looked back at him "I don't understand what you're asking."
"How did you know the White Fang would be at the shipyard tonight?"
Blake shook her head "I didn't. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time."
Ozpin scoffs "You wouldn't have been the first. But what happened tonight was not an isolated incident. I may be your headmaster, but I am also a Huntsman, and it is my sworn duty to protect this world from the forces that conspire against it. Blake, are you sure there is nothing else you would like to tell me? Nothing else especially about a possible pact?"
Blake kept a stone cold act as she nods on the inside however she was freaking out. "I'm sure."
Ozpin friend as he stands up "Very well. Thank you for your time, Ms. Belladonna." Ozpin heads to the door. He stops and turns to Blake. "If you ever need to talk to me." Blake looks up momentarily. "Please, don't hesitate to ask." Ozpin shuts the door behind him.
As the memory fades Team RWBY are shown entering their dorm room.
Yang huffs "Ugh, we should have never let him play!
Ruby smiled and playfully poked her "You're just mad cuz' "Weak Jaune" beat you! See, if you had just attacked when I told you none of this would have happened."
Yang scoffed crossing her arms "Yeah, says my sister who went easy on us!" She said
"I got a lucky hand, I didn't think it was a good idea to outright beat them for their first game!" Ruby argued defending herself.
As they enter, Blake approaches the door to leave seeing her quiet space interrupted. But she is caught by Weiss "Stop." Said women points at Blake. Blake's hand retracts from the door knob. "Lately you've been quiet, antisocial and moody
Yang looks at Weiss "Uh, have you met Blake?"
Weiss concedes "Which I get is kind of your thing, but you've been doing it more than usual! Which quite frankly, is unacceptable! You made a promise to me, to all of us, a full on Pact, that you would let us know if something was wrong!" She then Flips through the air as six copies of her emblem fly through the air through some Dust infusion of what Ruby assumed to be bullshittery. "So, Blake Belladonna, what is wrong!?" She points her finger at Blake again.
Weiss is shown to be balancing precariously on a chair's back feet. While the others are stunned Ruby still trying to process what the duck just happened while Yang is looking more at Blakes reaction. Weiss quickly puts the chair away and returns to stand near the girls.
Blake sighs relizing she had to explain herself now. "I just, I don't understand how everyone can be so calm."
Ruby approaches Blake sadly yet understanding "You're still thinking about Torchwick?"
Blake looks at their leader and begins to rant "Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it!"
Yang again tried to be the calming mind "Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the Huntsmen, I'm sure they can handle it."
Blake waved her hand frantically "Well I'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do!" A string palpable moment occurs in Ream RWBY's dorm.
Weiss held her hands up "Okay, between blowing up nightclubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think that you're all ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells!"
Ruby moaned "Weiss we said no complicated words."
Weiss ignored her leader's moaning to make her point "But let me once again be the voice of reason. We're students! We're not ready to handle this sort of situation!"
Ruby sighed and tried to look at it both ways. "Well yeah, but…"
Weiss stomped her foot "We're not ready!"
Blake had enough "And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just going to sit around and wait for graduation day." As she Points toward the door. "They're out there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not!"
Ruby raises her hand and does other random gestures, while looking manic. "Okay, all in favor of becoming the youngest Huntresses to single-handedly taking down a corrupt organization conspiring against the Kingdom of Vale... say aye." She said relizing Blake was ready for action and if she didn't it's most likely she would do something like what happened last month, and that wouldn't do for team RWBY's structure unless they were in it together.
Yang pumps her fist enthusiastically and points at Blake. "Yes! I love it when you're feisty!" As Blake blushed at Yang pointed statement.
Weiss rolled her eyes understanding the rouge has a point. "Well, I suppose it could be fun."
Ruby turns away saddened "None of you said aye!"
Blake nods "Alright then, we're in this together!"
Ruby smiled "Let's hatch a plan!"
Yang did "Double-guns" at Ruby. "Yeah!"
Ruby suddenly gasps as she freaks out "I left my board game at the library!"
Weiss Places her hand to her head. Shaking it "We're doomed."
Ruby runs out of the room and down the hallway "I'll be right back!" (The sound of collision is heard as Ruby seems to slam into someone "o-oof! Oh g-!" She looks up "Sorry. Are you okay?"
Emerald holds out her hand "I'm fine. Just watch where you're going." Ruby takes Emerald's hand. Mercury stands beside them.
"Oh, right, sorry." She continues to speak as Emerald helps her to her feet. "Um, I'm Ruby! Are you new?"
Emerald steps aside to reveal Cinder as she approaches. "Visiting from Haven, actually." Emerald turns to look at her.
Ruby stares for a moment and Cinder stares back.
Ruby suddenly gets giddy "Ooh! You're here for the festival! But exchange students have their own dormitory."
Mercury shakes his head "I guess we just got turned around."
Ruby waved her off "Hey, don't worry, it happens all the time." As Mercury and Emerald walk past Ruby. "Uh, your building is just east of here."
"Thanks." Cinder says as she walks past Ruby, gesturing in acknowledgement. "Maybe we'll see you around."
Ruby smiled "Yeah, maybe!" ( Ruby waved at them "Oh, uh, and welcome to Beacon!" Cinder grins evilly and her eyes glow menacingly as they walk away. As soon as they leave her sight Ruby's grin fades away, "right my game." She said as he runs down the hallway and too the library.
However in the intercession to go to the library or to the CCTV tower. Ruby moves towards the tower. As Ruby pulls out her scroll.
Red hood: "I've made a decision."
Oz: "Enter the left most elevation I'll take you up."
Ruby closed her scroll and does as he said riding the elevator up towards the top.
She steps out to find Professor Goodwitch , Headmaster Ozpin and Headmaster Ironwood waiting for her.
"Ms Rose, Ozpin said you've come to a decision?"
Ruby nods "Yes…I accept your proposal so long as you let my team in on the secrets as well."
Ozpin nodded "very well Ms. Rose."
Ironwood turned around shocked "Ozpin you're gonna let a team of first years into this conflict?" He asked
"Ms Rose is already involved, James. You know this, she's activated her eyes the best we can do is give her the support she needs to survive in the field." Ozpin said
Ironwood looked agast "Ozpin your not planning on sending her out like Qrow are you!? She's fifteen!" He argued
"James enough it's not Ozpin's gonna risk Ms Rose's safety." Glynda argued with the Atlas General.
"Really Glynda taking his side again,"
Ozpin has more experience in this that is James so yes I am!" Glynda huffed
"Hey!" Ruby snapped making the three turn back to her
"Don't I have a say in this?" Ruby asked
James stepped forward "Ms Rose you are a minor."
"I. Am. A. Huntress!" She snapped "the moment I stepped into those doors my age no longer mattered. I'm a fighter, a defender of humanity, and I will do whatever it takes to protect people!" Ruby said
Glynda and James looked at each other and sighed "Your right, as much as I hate to say it and lose the moral high ground, you are your own person, and pretty much our best fighter aside from Qrow."
Glynda scoffed but said nothing while James looked back at her. He stood up
"She has my support." He announced.
Everyone looked to Glynda who just shrugged "you know what I'm gonna say." She said
Ozpin nodded and stood up "Then it's decided, as of this moment moving forward, Team RWBY will be inducted into our brotherhood, and will be granted the honorary rank of Huntsman until at least 4 collective years at an academy where the honorary title will be made official."
Glynda nodded "your first order of business is to tell your team about the secrets this group has."
Ruby nodded "I've already done so." Ruby said
James turned outraged "what?!" He asked stunned that Ruby went behind there back
Ruby raised her hand's "hey I'm not saying they believed mei just told them it was out there. We've made it known that certain meetings are not allowed to be shared." Ruby said
"Ms Rose there are eyes and ears everywhere." Glynda said
"Unless you know the contents of what was spoken between 14:45 and 15:05 today in Team RWBY's dorm I'll feel safe in knowing that nothing occurred." Ruby said
James and Glynda looked to Oz who was checking the audio logs. "Hmm it appears that by our records no conversation took place." Ozpin said
Ruby nodded "I had Blake sweep the room for bugs. She found 2."
Ozpin nodded "very well." He said
"Ozpin, surely you're not agreeing to this?!" James asked
Ozpin looked to James "Ms Rose is a skilled combatant, and a Silver eyed warrior, I see no reason why she can't," he said as James scoffed and turned around
"Provided, we ensure they have backup the entire time." Ozpin said
James huffed "I can send a patrol craft around the City. It won't be much, maybe a handful of soldiers."
Glynda nodded "Then I guess the next order is to prepare for the ranking Tournament," Glynda said
"Actually…" Ruby said making the others turn.
"Blake has been gotten ansty about the events of the docks we plan to investigate exactly how the white fang knew about the shipment." Ruby said
Glynda held her chin "an ex-member could probably have access to places and give us better information about what they do and don't know."
"And the Heiress will be able to get access to the manifests without raising suspicion." James said
What will you and your sister be doing?" Ozpin asked
"Yang plans to hit up an info broker in Vale while I'll be in the city trying to be in the best spot to help out when needed." Ruby said
"Three in the city one at beacon." Glynda said
"We can have a VTOL prepped for Weiss in case she's needed to reach the rest of you quickly." James said
Ozpin nodded "I'll file the paperwork for that." He said
"Do you have any idea exactly when you plan to do this?" Glynda asked
"We're thinking Friday after classes gives us the widest opportunity in case something goes wrong, and give us time to make it to class." Ruby said
"Let us handle the Class portion, you just go ahead and make sure you get that information." Ozpin said
Ruby nodded "Understood."as she heads back towards the elevator
"Ms rose." James said making Ruby turn "I don't think I need to tell you that this isn't a game, do your very best on this." He said
Ruby nodded
"Before we do that however this week we will do the tournament. If Team RWBY fails to make it to the finals we will cancel the mission." Glynda said
Ruby nodded "Very well."
Ozpin nodded "in that case Ruby, why don't you bring your team up here and we can fill them in."
After a 30 minute conversation Team RWBY left Ozpins office with a new outlook on life.
"That was…heavy…" Yang said
"So everything…magic, the Grimm, Salem is real." Weiss said
"Kinda puts our mission to investigate the white fang seem minor in comparison now." Blake said
Ruby however disagreed
"Actually Ozpin has already signed off on the mission." Ruby said
Everyone turned to their leader "mission?" Yang asked
Ruby nodded "As of now we're considered Honorary Huntsman, and after four years in any academy that title will become official. So yes as of now our first mission will have us investigate the white fang." Ruby said
"Will be have a shadower?"
Ruby shook her head. "But inorder for it to officially sign off on it. We have to rank close to the best in the ranking Tournament."
Everyone looked at her stunned "the one that will determine our placing in the Vytal festival. That tournament?"
Ruby nodded
"What place so we need to get Ruby?" Yang asked
Ruby held the back of her neck "Actually Ms Goodwitch didn't say only that we had to "pass."
"Meaning we might only get this shot if we only get first."
The others nodded "well then I guess we know what we have to do?" Weiss asked
The others nodded. "We're beating that Tournament.
The next day in combat class was the first day of the tournament while Glynda explained the rules
"Now there are two official ways to qualify yourself for the Vytal festival tournament. Option one. Merit. For those who have been in the tournament circuit before you know about this. For those who don't, merit is those who go to other tournaments, win or give of an impressive enough showing to dazzle the crowd. Depending on this, where you rank, your placement, and how many tournaments you've done you get an amount of merit. The required amount of merit needed to enter the Vytal tournament is 800." Glynda said
Tell me miss Nikos your the most recent Huntsman who has tried out for a tournament, how much merit do you have?
"I have around 80 merit Professor." Pyrrha said making the crowd gasp
"Thank you." Glynda said as she typed stuff on her scroll. "As you can see getting into the Vytal tournament on merit alone, Is very difficult. Fortunately there is another way. Being sponsored by an Huntsman facility. Beacon, Shade, Haven, and Atlas, the only needs to make it into the Vytal festival by this measure is by getting the first 5 places in the school sponsored tournament, only these 5 places will be allowed to compete, now the students from the other academies have already had there tournaments, and is the reason they are not here. Their teams have already been selected. Which just leaves us. For the next week we will have team on team matches for all 4 years to determine who will enter the festival." Glynda said
"Enough of the preamble, let us begin, the first team who will be going is Team VIOT.
As a 3rd year team got up and made their way to the arena "now the team they will be facing is Team RWBY." Glynda said
Everyone looked at them wondering if they were scared. Team Rwby was far from it. They were eager.
When the battle began the school was about to get a rude awakening.
Many had a bet that Team Rwby would get crushed by their seniors,
Instead they dominated.
The fact that Team VIOT was a all heavy hitter team vs an all rounded team like team RWBY made the matchup uneven in the first place.
"Yang only love taps. There's no need to kill them."
Yang nodded
"Weiss, Blake." Ruby started
"We got it Ruby." Weiss said
Ruby nodded as the three girls stood in front of their leader.
"What's the plan Ruby?" Yang asked as Glynda called the beginning of the match.
Instead the team looked over as they heard the clicking and shifting of Crescent Rose as they looked over to see Ruby had her hood up.
The team immediately shifted posture from easy going to dead drop serious.
No one in the crowd knew how they knew but they knew Team VIOT lost.
"Checkmate." Ruby said
"Checkmate?" The leader of VIOT asked
Weiss and Blake dashed forward with Blake making copies of both herself and Weiss as they dashed forward to confuse there opponent which worked shockingly well.
"Yang go! Ruby ordered.
Yang rushed forward and smashed her fist into one of the seniors faces sending them flying. Getting an instant ring out.
"Love taps Yang!" Ruby called out.
Yang turned back around "Um that was sis."
You could heard a pin drop in the arena.
As everyone processed the information it was made clear Team RWBY was a monster in combat.
Ruby sighed and facepalmed "Jeez ok fine, Yang the lightest tap's ruby corrected,
Team RWBY was actively hindering themselves in this fight.
Anyone else would be insulted by the notion, but team VIOT was willing to concede in that moment.
What proceeded was a beat down henceforth.
Not 10 minutes later and all of team VIOT were either ringed out or had depleted aura, with team RWBY not suffering a single loss.
And what's worse is that They were down a member doing so. Ruby hadn't even drawn her weapon.
Glynda didn't hesitate as she called out the next two teams.
Team JNPR vs Team AMBR.
Team AMBR being a fourth year team should have absolutely squashed Team JNPR even with Pyrrha Nikos on their side.
"Battle begin." Glynda said
"Nora hang back, Ren flank left try to draw there fire. Pyrrha we're the attention seekers!" Jaune snapped
Pyrrha nodded as the team blitzed forward. Gaining the advantage,
Team AMBR was more akin to Team RWBY more fast attacks hit and run but much less well rounded, team JNPR had one tank in the form of Jaune, two heavy hitters in the terms of Pyrrha and Nora, and one stealth ninja in terms of Ren.
Needless to say if they were determined to win they would 99% of the time.
Unless on the rare occasions they were up against team RWBY.
Then no matter what they did RWBY had them dialed in.
However they weren't up against Team RWBY, they were up against someone more skilled and supposedly more dangerous. Having gone on 15 huntsman missions 5 each year starting in second year. They were veterans in taking out both Grimm and bandits. They were experienced in the field
However due to Jaune's stellar leadership and Pyrrha's inhumane ability to avoid being hit, while Ren was taken out of the fight JNPR did walk away with the win.
On and on this went, team after team, many teams have good matchup's others having bad one on average the teams had a win/loss of around 5-1 per bout.
Except for team RWBY. They had a Win/loss of 1-0
They never lost once.
Even against prospecting teams likely to take the win in the festival.
In Fact it was those bouts that were the most interesting as Ruby was more likely to get involved then.
By the end of the week the undisputed best team in the school left no question with anyone anymore.

As Glynda stated that Monday the announcement board posted both the top 15 teams of beacon and the 5 who will be going onto represent Vale in the tournament.
Team rank #1 and slated to be the best to win for Beacon is Team RWBY.
Rank #2 is team CFVY,
Rank #3 is JNPR.
Rank #4 is CRDL
And rank #5 is GOLD.
"Congratulations to all those who participated and we expect you to do your very best from now on." Glynda said as she closed her tablet.
"Class dismissed." She said as the students left the arena.
"Team Rwby please see me." Glynda said
After everyone left team Rwby approched the teacher.
Glynda sighed "it's clear that you four are skilled enough to handle yourself in the field so you can preform your mission this weekend, however, be extremely careful. You don't know what we're up against."
Team Rwby nodded "we will professor." Ruby said
"Then I wish you girls luck." Glynda said
Ruby and her team arrived back at the dorm,
"What's the plan Ruby?" Blake asked
"We need new uniforms our current outfits will be too noticeable and if we wear them in public to the Vytal festival people will connect the dots." Ruby said
"So I rebrand?" Weiss asked
"Not majorly but enough that if we're spotted on the street we won't be called out if shit hits the fan." Ruby said
Blake nodded "I think i can figure out that part." Blake said
"Ok Yang?" Ruby asked
"I have the location and information to ask Junior." Yang said
Ruby nodded and looked to Weiss.
"I can access the SDC records and get the manifests that will tell us the info we need." Weiss said
