Chapter 6:Atlas Command part 2
he gang were being lead through the halls of atlas command continuing their tour toward the training hall right now. Though along the way they passed by the guards who lined the halls ready for anything.
They also made some stops by examining the bunk where the soldiers slept. Along with stopping by the meidcal center that seemed very advanced even for their standards doctors or clinics with trained staff on the ready for anything.
But soon enough nora let out a burp covering her mouth.
"Excuse me"nora said
"Its just how nora is she can eat so much and still look good. Which i'm kinda jealous about"emerlad admitted the ginger can look good after eating so much.
"She right because dam this girl got the appetite of bear or goliath even"sarah added
Falk shrugged his shoulders"thats just how she is apparently ask her two teammates"he said gesutring to team JNPR. although once he did carmine smiled a little right now before eyeing clover close by as he noticed this chuckling.
"Let me guess….you wanna try and head their after were done with the tour"he aksed knowingly
"I do. Why don't we do it after the training hall and check on dracona along with simin"carmine replied as he nodded
"Well thats just how nora is. Though we;ve all been adapting with new things as of late"ren said looking at his porhtseitc hand gripping is slightly as it clinked with the metal for a moment.
Merlot noticed his metal apengage along with a few of the other in their group as he thought of something.
"Sometimes working with prosthetics is a tiring task to overcome depending on the incident. Although me and will along wih peitro are working on fixing your gear. Should't be long though"merlot said peking
their interest right now before a certain someone was intrigued
"Oh…oh can i help!"rogue asked eagerly
But her sister pulled her back before placing a hand on her head rubbing it but slightly froze it making her sister feel the cold touch on her head.
"Now dear sister. I understand you'd like to help our friends and team with making sure where alright. But lets have the professionals work on them please"she reminded as the doctor chuckled at that order.
"Nonsense i'd be happy to have some help. Me and peitro are geting at the age where our hands have a tough time moving things. Though it didn't stop me helping my old friends daughter here'merlot said
Penny nodded several times"yes. My father is a genius inventor here in atlas. People even come from vacuo and vale for his help on their prosthetics."penny cheerfully siad
"Yeah that….so are you saying your like some sort of cyborg or something. Before you told me you where an android"ruby casually said but they stared at her with penny looking concerned
"Penny…did you tell people who you where?"will aksed as the orange haired cyborg looked away not wanting to say it
"Wait no i mean uh i…um…uh well..i"ruby coudln't save herself with a lie right now
"Oh shush now penny here already told us it before. You know now though lets just say she got into a nasty accident. We worked very hard to bring her back to full health"merlot explained feeling some relief.
"Sorry still about uh stabbing you…if you want I can make you something in return. I feel terrible for what i did"znae offered with an upset look
as carmine sighed looking down eyeing him as they all continued to walk as mariana pointed things out as she wanted to ask.
"About that…how has your mental health been treating you dear. I…back in vale you seemed troubled…if you want we can start the sessions again. Like before"she offered as it peeked the boy mother
"What do you mean by sessions. Because i heard a bit of this stuff integrating your little soldiers"she growled at them as her ears twitched for a moment. Which made clover give her a look as he kept a straight face exhaling.
"Well lets just say we had to make a kid go through therapy is all. Though remeber you gotta keep that semblance of your in check. Along with…well your little friend here"he said rubbing dawn head gently as the wolfs tail wagged around enjoying the pets.
"Don't worry shes house trained. Besides dawn here is very docile for a grimm well if you attack certain people. She'll bite you"eden warned rubbing the grimm wolfs head as it panted with her tongue out as merlot chuckled at that.
"Like your dear sister….how is the girl? Was she happy to see you"merlot asked peeking some interest as the bear faunus gently smiled with some tears forming in her eyes.
"Wait your sister is a grimm hybrid? She uh dangerous"merle asked making eden growl before punching the women in the side hard as she winced as the black ops soilder was ready to fight him until she spoke.
"You are not going to lay a hand on my baby sister. If you touch her at all like that psycho women sangie you'll regret it"eden threatened with venom dripping in her words.
This stunned some of the nearby spartans as carmine scoffed still hearing that women name as merlot looked disgusted himself. As dracona growled as her wings began to flap widely around the place as anger hisses could be heard from her back.
"Whoa you guys seem tense….let me guess you hate this chick"cardin questioned curisouly.
"Oh i don't know from what i recall she was a vile women. Always antsy to shock or hit someone every day"merlot said in disgust
"Let me guess she escaped the island scott free for her actions"Carmine asked guessing but that was when a tiger laughed at her assumption proudly.
"If you count me busting that bitches lip. Then beating the every living hell out her….dam shame i didn't get my hands too bloody. I would have loved burying that bitch six feet under, but drinking through a straw the rest of her life is fine too"nadia said with a grin scaring some of them right now.
Though carmine stood their stunned for a moment before holding a laugh in for a moment. Then she bursted into complete laughter holding her stomach seeming to be in joy upon hearing that.
"Okay this isn't creepy at all seeing her laugh like that"yang pointed out
"Seriously what you happy she got what she deserved. Because i sure as heck am"lazuli replied
Soon she caught her breath with a smile"oh i'm more than happy. That women hit my eldest son when he wasn't listening. Along with that trying to shock our daughter i'm glad she getting her just desserts"she said gleefully as the tiger found it funny how she seemed happy that psycho got punished
Though part of her wanted to have a talk with these two sicneist at some point about if they even feel guilty for what they conducted. Part of her knew they were but she wanted to make sure just incase.
After some walking for a bit soon enough something caught jaune eye right now. That being a large plaque with several pictures tapped to it. Along with that it seems their were several metal plates on it as well. Which peeked his interest right now since it said"for those we lost."
"Hey um whats this?"he asked as they stopped staring at the monument for a moment as somber looks came to some of the atelsian soldiers faces.
"Oh this…its uh well…how do we say this"miller said trying to think of how to explain it until someone else decided to speak up to answer.
"This would be what we call the wall. A momentum to the fallen soldiers we lost on missions or the huntsman and huntresses under our command. Something that i always hated to visit but still surprised to see this many here today"artimis called out walking over as the spartans all saulted their commanding officer right now as zane instivily did as well.
But by her side was also marrow who had was staring at the monument sighing seeing the news names on their with an upset look.
"Its you artemis. Everyone this is the commanding leader of the spartans regiment. Cho boss if you will"clover said
"That may be true at ease soldier"she ordered as they all did as she eyed the face among them for a moment before setting her eyes on one which caught her by surprise but laughed slightly.
" . Well if it isn't the youngest to join my regiment. It seems that james kept you alive despite breaking a few of your protocols in place. Although welcome back"she said offering zane a hand as he shook is it blushing slightly because he felt very embarrassed right now.
"Of course he knows everyone here even someone thats a high ranking officer"may joked
"Uhhh she also on the council. Though ma'am i take it your doing your daily walk each month for the good souls we lost"merle said as the women stared at him for a moment eyeing a few them before a somber look came to her face
"Yes. right now i am preparing funeral arrangement for the brave souls we lost recently. Sergentn amin was just accompanying on figuring out on talking to their families to tell them the news"artemis sadly said as they didn't realize they might have had family here
"Oh…we didn't think about that actually. Are you going to be okay you want help"mercury offered making some of the spartans snicker
"Nah…nah where good kidio. Thanks for offering"jenkins said stepping forward wrapping an arm around his canine friend who looked at harper name plate along with the rest they lost. But velvet noticed his eyes where red like hes been crying for a long time since yesterday.
"It'll be okay wags….maybe we should visit the octopus tomorrow. Ask that chick to maybe let us renovate the place for a small get to getter"jenkins suggested
"Yeah merle here will help us persoanlly i'm sure….since that cousin of your runs it"sarah said confusing them for a moment
"What do you mean by that?"zephyra asked
"Oh well uh….yeah surprise kid your aunt runs that little club down in mantle. "Grinch joked making the hybrid groan rubbing his face.
"Great….though uh lets get this tour on the road."he replied as they agreed but marrow kept having a downcasted look the entire time.

Jaune noitced a row of monitor that seemed to display the soldier point of view. It showed one of them quickly snapping a robot neck off tearing their head comply off. Another flipping over another firing into it with a pistol perusambly.
"I'm guessing you guys record their performance and criteria them here"jaune asked
Mariana nodded"yep those monitor display what they do during the exercise. Sometimes we have incident but we have medical staff on hand at all time."she replied
Though as they sat their for a bit a paper airplane flew infront of neo face confusing her. The mute glanced over toward the culprit. That being a man who was very muscular in appearance as he wore a similar outfit to the other sparatans. But on his right shoulder a cross as he had dark skin with hazelnut colored eyes. Along with a bald shiny head.
Mercury noticed the mute staring at him"uhh what with the big and mucualry guy staring at us"he questioned turning their attention to them. Bonnet shook her head sighing.
"Its just rico. Yo big guy come say hi to the youngblood"bonnet said as the large man known as rico stood up. He walked over with a terrifying presence as to their surprise gentle embracing zane as he rolled his eyes returning it.
"Nice to see you too big guy"he replied as rico separated as he did something unexpected.
"Been a while kid. Guessing you manage to stave off death in that city"rico signed to their surprise.
Hariet chuckled"he did though if introductions are needed. The big guy can't speak since he was born without the…"she was stopped as falk finished for her.
"The ability to speak huh guess he likes feathers little sister"falk finished as it peeked their interest. Neo stood infront of rico as the two expression excerpts waved to each other.
"Its nice to finally meet someone else who understands my dumb problem"neo signed
Rico huffed slightly"same here nice to meetache kiddo. Names rico i'm our units medical speicalist. Depsite my large size i've found medicine alot more interesting"he sighed. Miller was about to translate for them but quickly figured out all of them knew ASL
"Heh a little surrpsiing but hey sometimes giants have the gentleist of souls"jaune replied making the large man nod at that.
"Well this place is cool because right now just gonna say it. I kinda wanna get this over with so can relax tomorrow"may admitted
"You said it because lets just get this over with"emerald agreed though a monkey faunus had a small idea.
"Hey wait a minute i got a bet for someone because it'll be interesting"she declared which got some attention right now.
"Okay wukong what are you planning right now. Because you just got back and the general might be nice enough to give us a break soon"hariett said making her girlfriend grin.
"Oh nothing much just been a long time since yah been here kid. I kinda wanna see if you've gotten rusy over time"bonnet said placing her hands behind her back smirking
Mariana crossed her arms under her bust"hmm wukong got a point their. Pretty sure surviving a city full of grimm will do a number on yah."she begun before gesturing to something.
"Along with that your slot might get taken by her"she added gesutring to a scoreboard displaying several names on the board. But the top ten showed the ace ops including mariana along with a few randoms. Below one name was bonnet though right above it was his name. It showed a time clock saying he had fifty three seconds on something.
"Whats with the giant scoreboard?"blake questioned
"Is this a sort of time trail exercise i'm assuming"adam questioned
Penny nodded"this course functions as a time onstabled course. The spartans will use these building to test their reflexes and skills. Along with testing how they corporate as a team which also functions as scenarios"she said before turning to the group
"The top ten will displace the ace ops usually along with miss tortuga own personally score to motivate them. Along with the spartans current ranking with number one being sergeant riley or by his codename subject omega. Who cleared a total of twenty combatants using standard hand to hand tactics"she experitly explained to his embarrassment.
"Great we hear more of our team leader. I still feel like i'm going crazy at times"eria admitted truthfully.
"Yeah because i mean this is still very cool. Sucks that this guy never talked about it once till those soilers came to escort him here"cardin said with sarcasm
"Are you asking him to do a exercise right now"pyrrha asked
"Kinda obvious don't you think"yang replied pointing the obvious out.
"Well i mean if hes not soo rusty. Because i wonder if you can still kick it with us…because i got a bet for you"bonnet began as they let her continue
"Because heres the bet i bet you can;t beat down thirty training bots. With some of them having some pea shooters along with a few carrying some knives. Because if you can without losing your aura"she paused before leaning forward smirking at him.
"You will have to run on the track outside at some point this week naked in the blistering cold. "She declared the other piece of information for the bet as some found her to be very strange what was with her obsessions doing that to people.
"Come on bon don't make him feel embarrassed e–"elm was stopped
"Sure thing. Lets make this very interesting if you lose you gotta walk all the way to the other side of base in your skippies. Though let them choose my gear…i'll go get changed"he said in confidence walking off which confused them for a moment.
"Hes definitely over confident on this….though guess he might lose the bet you made auntie"lazuli said
Nadia snickered a little"maybe he will because that would be hilarious though uh lets see how this goes"she supported but was a little nervous actually.
"This will be alot of fun though how does this work exactly?"rogue questioned
"The console over here control everything over here while down below. The room has hard light projectors and some atelsian knights as training dummies. Sometimes we even use grimm"mariana explained making them worried slightly.
"Are you sure thats safe?"velvet asked concern
"We got a console to shut everything down. Though lets go see what you lot will pick out the kids toys….maybe even his old projects are their"miller said
As he pointed to something close by.
Because on one side of the room was a large armory from the looks of it with a heavy duty metal gate and a small counter. Behind it was its quartermaster while behind him were rows of weapons from firearms to sharp swords. Along with some explosives in the mix along with a nearby firing range.
Rogue interest was peeked hearing that"Wait you mean more weapons!?"she said excited right now because she was still very happy for that grenade launcher her partner made her before. As mariana chuckled seeing that.
"Well you seem excited. Because well if you want the kids made alot of things over the years to keep himself occupied. Think he made about lets see….twenty two of them'she said which shocked them. But rogue went starred eyed wondering what weapons of mass destrcution he created. Mercury noticed this.
"Oh great sunshine interested….alright lets see what the guy made. Then do the dumb bet"mercury said as they walked over to the quartermaster. The women behind the counter greeted them
"Heyya yall, what can i do for you today. You looking to restock on some supplies or wanna pratice at the range"she asked
"Nope we gotta clear out good old omega stash of guns. Be a doll and fetch them for us"bonnet sweetly asked
The women chuckled and without a word stepped into the back for a long time maybe for twenty minutes. Their was a good reason because once she came back she came back with maybe about twenty two lead lined cases that had numbers and symbols on them of omega with a screaming skull on some of them. This shocked them seeing that many on display right now.
But rogue was starry eyed as her jaw dropped seeing all the variety of case sequaling slightly before grabbing the biggest one. Quickly setting it down then placed the other one down hariet looked very confused.
"Whats with this girl?"she questioned
"Shes got a fascination with weapons like crazy and i mean crazy. Even sis is…"yang said before glancing at ruby beginning to zip around examining the cases finding one that might peek the girl interest which made her relived seeing that side of her today even if momentarily.
"Well blondie crazy like her dad with weapons seriously now i'm being reminded of the potato launcher or that homemade flamethrower"perun said as s the blonde opened the case. Once she did tucked neatly inside was a six chambered grenade launcher. This just surprised them seeing that being the first weapons but some of them froze seeing her with another explosive.
"Umm is that a grenade launcher?"weiss asked scared slightly
Pyrrha eyes sank into her skull seeing that"oh no…oh no she has an explosive now"she said quietly to herself sharing a look with eria who looked worried now.
Rogue picked it up spinning the chambers as they clicked"you mean a fortymm grenade launchr. Seriously these things pack a punch capable of firing dust shells like nora grenade launcher. How long did this take?"she asked eagerly.
"About a month if i recall. He wasn't allowed to go anywhere without supervision but he does have quite a large collection of tools right now"Carmine answered
As the blonde wanted to try it out. Quickly grabbing some grenade shells she rushed to the nearby shooting range setting it up.
"Guess the kid wants to test it…out"bonnet said before glancing over at a few of them right now hiding behind a couch with scared expression right now. With jaune activated the hardlight dust on his shield to protect them even.
'Everything good over here with you kiddies?"rico signed confused
Millers laughed a little"what you scared that she'll be aiming it at us or something"he asked as this made them look scared.
"Rogue isn't allowed near explosives. Because last time she almost blew up the park back home when she made her homemade rocket launcher"pyrrha warned which just worried them they might all die right now. Before they could stop her rogue fired a few shell as they hit a concret target down the range destroying it on impact. The blonde had a wide grin laughing holding it in the air.
"This is awesome! Oh i'm definitely keeping t–"she was stopped as taking the weapon from her hands was mariana. The women quickly packed it up handing it to the quartermaster quickly to stop that from happening
"Judging how shes reacting you aren't taking that….anyone else wanna see what the kids made or what?"she asked. Ruby was interested
Walking over to a case that was medium in length. Flipping the latches open inside the case revealed an m4SOP MOD assault rifle. It had a acog on it along with an under barrel grenade launcher.
"Whoa is this a assault rifle…with a under barrel grenades launcher. The sights also a flip sight along with an integrated suppressor on the barrel"ruby explained as they were caught offguard by that. But yang laughed slightly sighing"
"Guess your excited since your such a weapon nerd little sis"yang cooed making ruby blush embarrassed from that comment.
"It seems very impressive judging by its appearance"ren simply said but was confused on why their was so much fascination with it.
"Oh this is interesting it looks like something the claw would typically use. Though with instances of them using mainly pistol and tactical swords. "Asani expertly explained confusing the soldiers around them how she even knew about that.
"How does that kid know about that mustache psychos personal black ops?"bonnet asked
"Yes because if memroy serve me right. Yohi the leader of the group–"merlot stopped as asani flunched gasping a little before beginning to visible shake. As she began to start panicking a little hearing his name being mentioned. Which starddled them.
"Hey you doing okay over here?"hariett asked reaching to console her but the girl flinch preparing to get hit covering her head
"Please don't hit me…i don't know what i did wrong….please don't kill me"she cried stuttering in dawn walked over as the grimm rubbed against her master for a moment as ruby closed the case walking over guiding her girlfriend to sit down.
"Its okay he isn't here. Look just pet dawn to relax and take some deep breaths."she sweetly said as the girl slowly did that taking slow breath right now. Though carmine figured one thing out.
"Oh…i see look dear i'm sorry that we mentioned that. Will you be alright?"she softly asked as the girl nodded slowly to compose herself petting the dog infront of her.
Though turning their attention back to what they were doing soon enough falk found a very large case as he struggled to hold it. But he stumbled over placing it on a table to reveal something inside as he undid the latches. That being a large heavy caliber sniper rifle with a bipod with a paint job of a skull screaming with flames at the end of the barrel. With a taily marker on the side of the scope measuring in about in the thirties.
"So he made a giant sniper….man this thing is….heavy"falk grunted trying to pick it up struggling. But rico walked over easily picking it up placing it on the shooting range as ruby immedialty zipped over examining it. She noticed the large muzzle on it along with the extended scope, but wanted to test it.
"Anyone got any sniper cartridges?"ruby asked as quickly miller grabbed a magazine for it. Then she loaded it in but something was bugging marrow for a moment trying to recall what it did.
"Hmm i can't put my finger on it but that sniper might be–"before he finished ruby fired it as the barrel erupted in flames. This resulted in her getting launched back as she screams as a red blur directly hit emerald knocking her flat to the ground. All of them looked as ruby had mini rose circling around her head.
"So that thing packs a very large punch"yang quipped as they groaned at her pun. Quickly helping the two up mariana laughed slightly sighing
"Forgot that kid had it modded where it can deliver a devastating killshot. Thing could take down a goliath even"she stated which just made them even surprised.
Cardin chuckled crossing his arms"oh man this is something though where is grimm boy"he said as soon a knife was pressed against his neck.
"Right behind you"zane said catching cardin offgaurd glancing at him. It revealed him in a pair of tactical pants black obviosuly. While he wore a dark gray athletic shirt that showed his toned arms. Along with wearing a black tactical vest over it with pouches and holsters on his sides. While a sheath was on his back, along with that he wore black combat gloves. But on his face was a ski mask revealing his eyes. The bottom part of mask had a skull imprint.
They stared at him weird a little seeing him military gear.
"Not gonna lie you look very stupid in that cousin"lazuli pointed out as neo nodded agreeing with her. Quickly removing his knife sheathing it as cardin backed up knowing he was messing with him.
"I still find this even weird because still not used to hearing your a military operative"velvet added as her ears twitched.
"Well i needed to train somehow only lets get this over with forgot how fricking dark this stuff is"he said which made them look at him weird, he named his weapons some depressing.
"Alright theirs a joke their but i rather not say it"weiss said
"Okay though lets make this interestin you aint using your usually gear. Go get some equipment"miller ordered as he nodded walking over to the quartermaster. Quickly making a request he was given his gear along with some ammo for them.
Then he decided to grab the assault rifle from the case slinging it over his shoulder. While he grabbed a pistol with a pair of clibing axes placing them on his back with a magaentic clip.
"Alright you all time to see how this little bet goes. Who will be lucky today"miller joked as they stepped forward. The platforms below started to rise from the ground as will was manning the console to control the simulation. Though after pressing some buttons it soon resembled a factory like area with a wide open space. Soon enough from the center several husk emerged held back by a metal gate
They screeched and screamed to be let out startling them seeing those right now.
"Are we sure its safe for him to fight those things"yumi asked concerned
"Oh they aren't really that tough. A swarm of them are but well their like paper with their limps…kinda like zombies from those movies."zephyra reassured.
Mariana pressed on a button for the intercom"alright when your ready kid because you better not have gotten rusty"she said as he nodded soon the buzzer sounded off as the husk where released from their cage screeching heading straight toward him. But he drew the assault rifle placing it behind his head laughing slightly.
Soon enough three of the husk tried to attak him at once. As he dodged one strike before gripping the rifle by the barrel whacking it in the kne as it knelt down on the ground. Then he delivered a swing to tis skull with the rifle stock sending its head clean off its shoulder. The other two at the same slashed at him with others trying to overwhelm him but he broke free dodging into a role
Then he raised his rifle firing off a few shots killing about six of them with an entire clip. He fired off a few shots hitting some in their legs or chest stunning them. Till suddenly he heard a click meaning his weapon was out of ammo. Slinging it over his shoulder he began to take high ground to retreat.
Though about six husk kept chasing him down as he noticed this doding one that tried to tackle him. Then he drew out the climbing axe twirling them staring down the grimm before him. Immediately he drove one axe into one skull killing it. After thant he tore it out as it turned to dust, then sliced down another one both axe killing it.
Two of them slashed at him with anothe trying to bite him as he held it back as it screamed in his face. But it was stop mid screech as he gripped it head then twisted hard snapping it neck. Then he pushed it back as jammed another climbing axe killing more of them.
"Man this is how you guys train fighting grimm"Cardin stated
"Kid theirs alot more to that than this. We train to make sure everyone works as one cohesive unti to watch each backs. Besides my guys are on par with ace ops that why we work together"miller replied
"Really? Because this is kinda cool not going to lie"rogue admitted
"Of course you think this is cool. I never thought i see the day that our leader the clown of beacon is some black ops operative"eira said still finding this crazy.
"Your telling me because well i'm wondering if i should consider honing my hand to hand skills. Might be useful"jaune added
Mercury hummed for a moment"eh i might too though i'm more excited to maybe get a break for a bit doing some stuff."he replied.
"Well if you want we can start training you. You'll need it because maybe you can be on par with us someday. I'll personally see to it"clover offered which made some of them starry eyed hearing that
"Really?"nora asked excited right now
"Well sure been training red over here for the past couple weeks myself. Shes enjoyed my training sessions"mariana said as pyrrha nerovusly laughed for a bit
"Yes they were well quite interesting….though i've handle far more tougher things"pyrrha replied. Though soon enough down down below zane had about eight husk left as he shifted into his drakon form. This caught some of them offguard
As he flipped over a husk pulling hard yanking its head clean off as he crushed it in his hands. Then one tried to sneak up on him but he dodged it digging his claws into its back killing it. After that he flapped his wings drawing a pistol firing off at the remaining husk. As he picked one up throwing it at the observation window
This startled them as it screamed before falling back down to its death.
"Okay that didn't just scare the life out of me"falk admitted
"Uhhh when could he do that?"marrow asked

Merle crossed his arms sighing"its just well..family record probably got broken. Cousin will flip her lid when she see him…..or cry since she was closer to her baby sister"he replied as down below he held the last husk by it head as he tore its arms off. But he walked back up to the others before dropping it onto the ground curbstomping its head in killing it.
"Oh wukong at some point in the next few days guess who gotta walk all the way across base in their undies"he teased with a smile to his girlfriends annoyance slihglty
"Dang it….thought i'd win. Eh guess that payback for pulling your towel down or whatever"bonnet said not bothered.
"Well this was an interesting little show. But we should be going soon because we'll end the tour by checking on dracona and someone else. Then you all can relax today"camrine said as they all followed her with him changing back into his normal attire
They followed them again through the soldiers for a bit before they arrived somehwere. That being a set of heavy duty doors with several cameras on the corners of the walls. Their was also a heavy caliber turret with maybe about twenty armed guards their looking to be special ops.
"Huh overkill much for a simply little cellblock don't you think"eria codly said
"Well uh that guys other victim is here…so uh…be prepared to see him"jenkin said
"Other victim? Wait is their another grimm knight here?"miyuki questioned scared right now.
Clover nodded"We found another one of the news ones. Should be in the rec room vine is keeping an eye on them." he replied approaching the keypad typing on it then used a retainer scanner as it scanned his eyes.
"Idnetiy confirmed welcome captain ebi."a mechanical voice said as the metal doors slide open as it took a bit of time. Then it revealed a line of cells their with numbers on them but their were even more turrets their in the room. They walked to a different one opening it to reveal dracona sitting in a table reading a book.
While also in a room was none other than simon who was busy eating some food right now. With him and vine having casually conversation
"It still amazes me that one of shaw soldiers where taken"Vine said
"Ah well more lik most of my squad…though man i've enjoyed eating actually food'simin said before dracona glanced up from her book notiicng them
"Oh hello…i didn't expect you all to be here"dracona greeted as simon glanced over mid bit of his food as they stared at him for a bit. Till mercury adjusted his gaze going wide eyed
"Holy crap its that guy asher talked about that was from deepwald!"he shouted in shock along with some running into him before.
"Wait…you ran into my old bunkmate before"marrow asked to their shock he knew him
"You two know each other?"emerald said pointing at the two
"Well uh y-yeah um uh….look if your going to start screaming at me. Get it over with"Simin said but got a different reaction
"Meh we've seen alot more weirder things in the past year"nora said which was an understatement
"Ohh don't even get us started on that though grimm hybrid number uh…five i guess whos not some bat crazy psycho. Well with those things on i guess"falk said meaning his collar. But asani hide from him because back in deepwald he hit her a few times
"How are you two adjusting right now? Because we just wanted to come and check up on you"carmine asked as they stayed silent for a moment as dracona eyed them for a bit
"If you count not hearing something in my head. Pleasant…still surprised to see summer rose greeting me right now. Sorry for…well…trying to kill you"dracona apologized
"Your quite alright…wouldn't even blame you since you where under control of that parasite"summer said. But they did a quick check up on the two leaving. Though onxyia noticed one of the other cell with a name that caught her eye. That being a cell that read"omega" which stunned her seeing very heavy duty doors infront her.
"Wait…i um…is this your room?"she asked drawing their attention especially nadia. The tiger glanced at the large metal door where her son was kept for seven years. It just made her anger seeing them lock up a little kid like some criminal.
"Right uh that…maybe i should grab my things from here"he nerovusly said as clover stepped forward repeating it with the other door.
In an instant the mechanical door made large metal noises as it soon slide open. Some peeked inside to be met by a strange sight.
That being a simple room that was all white even the bed. Their was a simple desk with clear plastic draws with some items in them. While their was a bathroom from the looks of it with a curtain. Along with a shower in the corner, their stood a shelf with several items. Along with a dresser that was also see through showing several pieces of clothing inside it. To their surprise it was very small which didn't leave much room for anything.
Eria stepped inside surprised he would even live in these type of condition. Because it looks like someone be slated for deathrow living in here. But instead a child lived in here.
"I…you kept my cousin in here…for seven years? What the hell"lazuli said as neo looked surprised by the sight even right now.
Cardin looked at him as he just walked over sitting on a bed staring at the ground shocked that his friend lived in these type of conditions.
"You…you lived in this place. No wonder you never talked about yourself…this is kinda sad"he admitted
Marrow sighed pulling a chair out sitting on it turning it toward them"your not wrong kinda sad locking the kid in a room with no one to talk to for a whole year"he said which just upsetted them a little. Ruby stepped inside seeing the shelf lined with several books on various subjects like dust, weapon maintance, strageries, survial skill, medical books and several on topics. Along with a few pieces of literature to keep someone occupied from boring subjects.
"Their are alot of books in here"ruby said opening a medical book flipping through it seeing several scribbles. Along with several words highlights like someone extenvily studied the material inside it.
"I've been locked in a room for years….had to keep myself busy somehow"he sadly answered feeling ashamed they have to see this.
Nadia walked into the room surprised this was where he son was for the last seven years. She examined the shelf seeing some pictures their that seemed to have gotten dust over time. Along with a few more items catching her interest being a golden dingo statue, a couple drawing, a couple more wooden craving that being a terrible made dog. She just stared at it.
Before instivly walking over hugging him as her motherly isnticts where kicking in right now as she swallowed hard. Heartbroken she though he died but instead was locked in some cell.
"I'm sorry…i'm so sorry for leaving you home alone i.."she was stopped
"Alright stop it…i don't blame you. Blame mustache mcgee"he said before long some decided to help pack some things in boxes. They all got done with it quickly as they reached the front with carmine ending their tour
"That is the end of our tour of atlas command. James will let you know about any up coming plans or missions you can help with. For now enjoy some time off together. "Carmine said but someone else by spoke up
"My word whats with this…is this a field trip"a female voice spoke up. Looking over to the source it belonged to women who seemed to be thirty seven year old with cerulean blue colored hair and dark yellow eyes. While she had a similar uniform to what ironwood and mactvaish wore. But she had a star lower than ironwood sporting three stars on hers.
"Oh litentuant general cerry. We were uhhh…umm.."marow tried to come up with a decent excuse
"Don't be too worried on lying. Mactavish and ironwood informed me of the situation. Though…winters its a pleasure to see you again dear. Is this your…"cerry paused looking at weiss who hide her tail under her coat quickly
"Oh uh hello i'm weiss schnee her younger sister. Are you two friends?"weiss asked
"In a way yes. The general here assisted me on clearing some grimm a while back. Though i'd love to stay and chat but were on the clock"winter said
"Ah yes be on your way. I'll need to oversee some paperwork"cerry replied as they all left the women. But as she stared at them more importantly weiss as she grinned at her seeing how close she was with falk
With that this ends the two part chapter. But it seems the introduction of cerry might cause some problems here for the group. Though I wonder who shes is involved with.
