Chapter 45:Living it Like the Rich
In another part of the manor right now with some others. Mainly being rogue, cardin, yumi, blake, razma, eden, velvet, may, onxyia, leah, adam, zane,jaune and pyrrha. Their was also nadia, robyn,asani and diaz with whiltey leading the way through the manor. By his side was carmen along with klein showing them what the manor has to offer. While wren and june where their with wren excited to show his new friend his house
"This is the meany man side of the house"wren inncoently said meaning his former father jacque. Nadia chuckled at that
"Awww well its your side of the house now sweetie"nadia said gushing over him still right now as she hasn't been here in so long
"Yes little brother because i think we need to remodel this side of the house."whitley said trying to come up with renovation idea. Which rogue noticed coming up with something
"Oh oh you should add a training area for praticing with your glyphs"rogue suggested as they thought about it liking the sound of that
"I think thats a marvelous idea. Maybe we should use that devil for training dummies"kelin said
As right now dragging a wagon full of portraits with only jacque in them was leah. The artist wanted to help burn some of these because she painted a few but decided to gather some since weiss might want to burn them

"Oh i wouldn't blame you at first i wanted to do that too. Though i saw how kind the rest of the schnee family is. Only one of them was a jerk"carmen said watching her swearing as whitley sighed rubbing his hands for a moment
"Well i hope we can get on your good graces again. The general is sending his soldiers along with artmeis to clear out the mines. Still alot of people will need to stay their but instead of working they'll be enjoying some time off"whitley explained
As they were in the process of shuting down the dust mines. Which onxyia was reading a small article about with the shut down of all dust mines from the schnee dust company. But they were also in the process of providing homes to the people their since they had no where else to go. But it made her think of one person
Ollie older sister as she was curious still after three months after hearing how one of the spartans knew someone who killed his sister. 'We are though…still thank you for trying your best on being a witness for the trial"whitely said suddenly to some of their confusion since they weren't their for that part. With rogue titling her head to the side confused right now

Onxyia nerovusly tapped her fingers together"well um…i was their for black market and well…i wanted to help weiss. But well ummm…"She paused with an upset look which blake noticed staring at her for a moment. Then she decided to do something

Whitley thought for a moment"its down the hall we'll wait for you up ahead""whitley said as they walked ahead as blake and the others went to the bathroom with adam joining them. Once they were far enough velvet peeked around the corner seeing they were far before turning to blake for a moment
"Okay mind telling us what happened at the trial?velvet said getting straight to the point
May nerovusly laughed rubbing the back of her head"well uh how exactly do we put this right now"She said trying to think of something but eden blurted it out
"She freaked out in the middle of the trial with isabella bringing up how ollie knew her family. Along with her having ties with the white fang which made her stress out that. Along with alot of people calling her a bunch of slurs"eden said quickly which worried the others who didn't know
Blake looked worried right now hearing that since she knew how sensitive she can be. Along with that her traits especially since she was always picked on as kids for having two of them. Maybe all this time in atlas has caused her to become upset hearing all those slurs directed toward her
The cat faunus sighed"i…i'm not surprised god shes always so sensitive about her traits"she said
"Your telling me along with her height….was she picked on or something by faunus?"Razma stupidly aksed as adam scoffed
'She was in the faunus community. Sometimes faunus view those with dual traits as a unique gift but the pure blood mainly. They insult their own kind just like humans…it makes me sick to think about it. Especially with seth and his friends"Adam said with venom peeking her interest

But he kept rearing his legs up ready to swip at anyone with pyrrha trying to grab him cautiously
"Nice uh kitty…i think please don't scratch me"pyrrha said with worry going near dusk as he hissed at her trying to claw her as she yelped jumping back into jaune arms.
"Why is he so mean?"pyrrha asked with jaune shrugging his shoulder easily setting her down now. Because hes gotten stronger over the last three months to hold her now in his arms if need be
"I don't know….because she seems nice"yumi said as dawn was panting with her tongue out barking with diaz rubbing her coat laughing slightly
"Well the little guy a cat….their known to be very grumpy and selective on who they like"Diaz said but the master of the grimm walked over as he sighed reaching into the wolf hold pulling dusk out as the cat yawned before crawling up onto his shoulder staring at them
"Hey your cat being a prick he tried to claw whinchester when he tried to pet him"carmen said
"It clipped some of my hair off….can you tell that thing to not be a jerk"Cardin aksed
"Hey its how dusk is…surprised to have another one. Though buddy be nice to everyone okay or…i won't give you fish"zane said as from his view the grimm talked to him

"I wanna hold the kitty"june inncotnely demanded as he laughed before gently handing her dusk as she held him up with her little arms
'Alright be careful with the little guy. Dusk behave or else i'll get ruby or her mom to use their eyes on you."zane warned as dusk slightly went wide eyed meowing before crawling up june arms before curling himself around her neck making her giggle as its fur felt ticklish
But others actually thought about that for a second as they kept walking

As soon enough emerging from the kitchen was willow carrying a large turkey on a tray with johanna assisting her. While diaz carried a large pot of soup as cardin carried some smaller trays of food out on the cart. That being some corn, bread, even a pie which made them all take their seats to eat up
"Alright everyone its time to eat because lets enjoy tonight right now"williow said preparing the turkey slicing some pieces of as nora reached for the leg but winter smacked her hand away from it

But the hours dragged on as soon enough alot of them where getting ready to leave for the day. As they were at the front door of the schnee home with diaz carrying a sleepy june in his arms who hugged her father snoring peacefully
"Well it was nice of you all to have us in your home. But we need to head back home for the night"diaz said

But elsewhere early in the day with someone else right now that being betty, javi and micheal. They where busy meeting with vick vest right now as they where in a simple office space. That being a wooden desk with a shelf containing several different types of knick knacks along with that a large safe in the room suggesting it was his
But vick sat behind a desk grabbing some cigars from a box with betty and her group sitting down right now. As the women hummed to herself
"So victor how have you been old friend?"betty asked starting some small talk but the man scoffed
"I told you to call me vick parker…i always hated being called that name"vick said pulling out a cigar clipping it then he stuck it in his mouth. Then he snapped his fingers as a gangster walked over producing a match striking it then light the man cigar for him
The mobster then took a puff of his cigar inhaling it deep for a moment before blowing it out slowly then he placed it on a nearby ash tray
"Now parker i heard around the grapevine right now that clay is dead along with you running the gang now. Is their true?"vick asked surprised it seems as betty sighed as she gently removed her mask to reval her face as she held it in her hands
"Well….unforutnaly y-yes….my man was killed by some…little brat….whos here in atlas"betty growled in rage gripping her mask tight as she held it close. Because she seen that little rose girl in atlas. Next time she has the chance she putting two bullets in her skull to teach her a lesson permantly.
Vick noticed her anger look as he chuckled"guess this brat pissed you off"he asked as she growled before claming down
"She did because well we even lost an underboss and with one of them jenny got put in a mental hospital."betty replied
"You take care of that loose end i take it?"vick asked taking another puff of his cigar but she shook her head on that right now
"No no i ddin't kill her….poor women is suffering enough for living in that nuthouse. She failed me though out of good faith for her loyalty i'll let her live…for now"betty said grinning as she leaned forward deciding to get down to business right now
"But enough small talk you know javi the leader of the wave"betty said with javi bowing to him slightly but vick growled at him
"You mean the sorry little twig that owes me for that botched deal we had for some firearms"vick growled snapping his cigar with force right now in his hands. As javi hoped he forgot about that little mishap they had a long time ago

Vick leaned back in his chair eyeing the man down along with the other two kncukelduster. As he snapped his fingers with his men guarding the door just incase with him deciding to ask them what this deal of their is exactly

"What were offering you is a deal of the lifetime. You've always wanted to rule atlas and mantle since you felt like you owned this kingdom. Since your family long ago helped make what mantle is what it was today. How you felt obligated to rule this joint right?"betty asked as he nodded
"Dam straight since we helped build the building here all we asked was ownership and that we get payed. But well seems they didn't take an old contursction company seriously. Where this leading to parker"he asked
The women then smiled offering him a hand"i want you and your gang to assist us and pledge yourself to my queen"she offered their deal
Their was complete silence right now for a moment before one of the mobster snickered at that bursting into laughter hearing that. With vick himself laughing at that as the whole room bursted into laughter hearing them call some women their queen
One of the mobster held their gut laughing"Are you crazy parker!? Because you think where in some dam fairy tail"they asked
Vick laughed whipping a tear away"parker…i don't know what your smoking right now. But if your dealing with your own product i suggest you leave. You got three seconds to get out of my sight you crazy bitch'he stated
This made betty sigh hoping it didn't come to this as she stared at javi nodding to him. Then he snapped his figner as nothing happened at first. Until suddenly one of the window was smashed open suddenly as glass went everywhere in the room. Though a black blur came blitizng in as vick adjusted his vision going wide eyed
All of them did as their in the room was lec who grinned at him standing by his brother side. The mobters in the room pointed their weapons at the grimm hybrid ready to kill him right now
"Boss! We got one of those grimm freak we gotta–"they were stopped as lec laughed before sighing
"I'm very hard to kill besides…my host brother made a deal with you long ago. Don't you remember me…vest"lec asked cofnusing the man
'No i don't….parker help me kill this dam freak right now"vick demanded but she refused
"Actually this is my queen loyal servant….the same women who wants to destory each of the kingdoms. Because you should rethink my offer if you want to live right now"betty said as the man was stunned hearing that. Then lec decided to remove his mask before returning his control to someone. As the grimm eyes went from crimson to icy blue to reveal lec pastel their as everyone in the room looked shocked
Vick couldn't believe his eyes"what the…your suppose to be dead?!"vick shouted but lec sighed now in control
"Well…my death was very exgrated. Besides i suggest you take the deal right now vest….it'll be useful. Because i'm sure you want protection from the miltary. "Lec started before walking forward with betty as she smiled
"Because well they did try to take your daugther after her little hobby with faunus"betty added as the man paused for a moment. But then the door opened as someone spoke up
"Oh well lookie here and javi pastel with….well aren't you interesting"a women spoke up
As in the doorway was a women in her mid twneites as she had pale skin like ice. With deep purple eyes like amethetisis crystal with her hair being colored brown reaching the middle of her back. Her nails where colored black with red lipstick and a selnder hourglass build to her wearing something strange
That being a pair of black yoga pants showing off her curves while she wore a pair of knee high black boots with purple laces. As she wore a simple wool sweater with a boob window on it. Along with that she wore a black coat with tan fur trim on it.
