Rose walks through the news station. Gayle Gossip is at her desk, her perfectly manicured nails clicked as she typed on her computer.

"You wanted to see me?" Rose asked.

"I did!" Gayle nods, she turns to her. "Rosie, I saw that Kai is back."

Rose grabbed Vinny's chair and moved it to Gayle's desk. "He is." She confirms as she sits down. "But we're not getting back together."

"Might as well." Gayle sat back in her chair. "I still don't get what you saw in him."

Rose shrugged. "I honestly can'g explain it. But he was handsome, he just had a temper and focused too much on his dad's Blacksmith shop."

Vinny Folson walked up them. "Aw, hi Rose!" He smiled as he held a heart shaped box under his left arm and papers under his right arm.

"Hi Vinny." She smiled.

"Rosie, sweetheart." Gayle turns to her desk to pick up some folders. "Could you do me a fav and take these documents to Jamanakai Village?"

"But I just got back home." Rose frowned. "Honey, you know I would do it myself but, your dad."

Rose's shoulders slump. "Ok. I'll go."

"Thank you, Rosie." Gayle smiled, then frowns at her cameraman. "Vinny, it's not Valentine's day. What's with the chocolates?"

"Oh!" He nearly dropped the box before holding them out o her. "They're from Dareth."

"Ah." Gayle wrinkles her nose. "From that overweight baboom?" She tosses the box back to Vinny, who fumbled with the box. "No thank you!"

"Auntie, Dareth's not that bad." Rose said. "He's a good guy … just a little clumsy is all."

"But his trophies that he likes to brag about." Vinny frowns. "Clumsy of the year awards?" He asks.

Rose shrugged. "Well, they can't be real."

"Rosie, don't you have a road trip to start?" Gayle asked.

Rose sighed. "I'm going, I'm going."

Controlled by Lloyd, the Fangpyre reach the Hypnobrai. "The Hypnobrai. Now to teach them a lesson for betraying Lloyd Garmadon!" Lloyd pauses and turns to Fangtom. "Uh, do you thing, Fangpyre. "I let you out of your hole for a reason."

"Attack!" Both tribes come together for war, but Fangtom sees Skales as the new leader. "Skales, my old chum!" The two leaders slither up to each other and fist bump. "I didn't think I'd be fighting you. Hmm, moved up in the world, have we?"

"If it isn't the Fangpyre. Of all the cold-blooded to creep up on us, I'm glad it is a friend."

"Wait." Lloyd is shocked. "I thought you were enemies! Not friends!"

"We were at war." Fangtom said as he turns around to face Lloyd. "But seeing that Skales is now leading them, well, I don't see why we can't be comrades."

"Have you released the Constrictai, the Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai. Then we wouldn't had a tussle."

"A tussle? A tussle!? But I'm Lloyd Garmadon! Bringer of evil!" Lloyd cries.

"Hehe. What should we do with him?" Skales asked.

"I could turn him into one of us."

"Hmm, no, the little tyke is pretty useless."

"What if you hypnotize him and make him think he's a pig?"

"That'd be pretty funny."

As the two laugh, Lloyd sneaks away and climbs on a Serpentine Vehicle's tail, it flings him through the air, Lloyd screams as he's catapulted before face planting in the snow.

Inside the Sea Of Sand, Lloyd is walking alone while looking at his map. "'Had you released the Constrictai, the Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai, then we would've had a tussle.'" He mocks Skales. "Pfft!" He looks at the map, then looks up. "I found it!" He runs towards the tomb. "The Anacondrai. The most feared and powerful Serpentine of them all. And if they're afraid of the Anacondrai, then the Anacondrai is what they're gonna get. Mwahahahahaha!" He opens the tomb and shines his flashlight inside, he walks around aiming his flashlight at a lot of skeletons. As he walks, an Anacondrai had snuck up behind Lloyd. "Aah!" He jumps backwards in fear.

The Anacondrai slithers up to Lloyd. "My sincerest apologies, young man. Oh, dear, due to my unfortunate appearance, I tend to have an unsettling effect on people, heh. Oh, I believe you dropped this." He hands Lloyd his flashlight. "Ah, there you go."

"Uh, thank you." Lloyd's voice shook, and he started to walk. "Uh, what happened to the others?"

"Poor, unfortunate souls. All those years, locked away with nothing to eat. Must have slowly starved away until they were just scales and bones." As he talked, Lloyd turned his flashlight on the snake's stomach briefly. "And who may you be, my little appetize—Uh, I mean, friend?"

"Lloyd Garmadon. Son of Lord Garmadon and future dark ruler." Lloyd answered cheerfully.

"Oh, hahahaha. How deliciously evil. If I had feet, ooh, I'd be trembling in my boots."

"And, uh, who are you?"

"Humbly, I am Pythor P. Chumsworth. And since you've freed me, I am eternally in your service."

Lloyd blinks. "Really? You're not gonna trick me?"

"Oh, why would I trick you? I hardly have any friends."

"Whoa. I hardly have any friends too."

"You don't say."

"Hey, how would you like to be my loyal henchman? I've been betrayed by the Hypnobrai and the Fangpyres, and I'm looking to get a little revenge on some Ninja too."

Because of his long neck, Pythor sees the Map Of Dens rolled up in Lloyd's back pocket. "Hmm, I love revenge! Oh, you know Floyd."-

"Lloyd."

"Whatever. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

"Back so soon Rose?" A Jamanakai villager asked with a smile as Rose walked down a path.

"Yeah. I need to drop off these papers." She turns the corner and stops short, her eyes grow when she sees Lloyd sitting on a bicycle with a Serpentine peddling it, They knock down trash cans as they move along and a dog is heard barking.

Rose runs to the hut she needed to go, quickly dropping of the papers and running off to follow Lloyd. Finding him now on the outskirts, Pythor removes the 'Don't Walk On Grass' sign, they laugh as Lloyd jumps and rolls along the grass.

Hiding behind a tree, Rose pulls out her cellphone and dials. "Kai, pick up, pick up!" She whispered, she watches as the two leave. "Kai!" She cried into his voicemail before hanging up, and running after the two to keep a safe distance.

By the pond, Lloyd and Pythor throw stones at two toy boats, and laugh when two other boys start crying when their toys sink. As Lloyd and Pythor leave Rose tries to follow by she ends up falling into the pond, after a few minutes she surfaces and climbs back up, not noticing her cell phone falling into the pond.

Back in Ninjago, and in the Sea Of Sand, Rose stood, far away from the Anacondrai Tomb. "This can not be good!"

The following day. Rose found herself caught by Lloyd and the Serpentine snake. She was thrown tied up with the other students.

"Lloyd Garmadon! Sensei is not gonna like what you've been doing, you brat!" Rose yelled as she struggled in the corner, while Krucha and Nuckal hung upside down with duck tape over their mouths.

"I'm not afraid!" Lloyd said. "Let the Ninja come! I'm ready for them!"

"Are you ready for a severe spanking? Cause that's what you're gonna get!" Rose struggled.

"I am the Dark Lord's son!" Lloyd bragged. "When the Ninja come, I'll be ready for them." With that he leaves with Pythor.

Rose sighed, she tried to untie herself, but the knot was too tight. After a long awhile screaming from outside is heard, followed by the shaking of the building as it felt like it was going to collapse and finally an anchor crashes into the classroom, the Ninja cough and groan as they stumble.

"Ok, let's agree to never do that again." Cole said.

"What kind of stealth mode was that!?" Rose asked. "Pathetic!"

"Rose!" Kai gasped. Zane walks over to her and starts to untie her.

"Are you ok?" Zane asks as gets the knot undone, then helping her stand.

"Yeah. Thank you."

"You are welcome."

Cole lifts his Scythe towards the students, making them whimper, but Cole only cuts the rope. "Stay out of school, boys." He said cheerfully as the boys run out of the room in fear. "Well, well, well." Cole said, noticing the two skeletons who were handing upside down. "Kruncha and Nuckal. Substitute teachers, eh? If we cut you down, we better not catch you hang around Ninjago again. Or else." He cuts their ropes too, the two skeletons try to skate into each other before Kruncha skates off and Nuckal goes the other way and a second later he quickly skates after Kruncha. Cole shook his head.

Kai quickly spots Lloyd. "He's on the roof! Let's get him!"

"Ninja, go!"

Zane and Kai use Spinjitzu towards the stairs, Cole climbs the anchor chain and Jay takes the elevator.

"Wait!" Rose yells after them, but the Ninja are gone, after a few minutes the Scythe Of Quakes drops down and lands next to her, making her jump. She grabs it and grunts when she tries to lift it, she ends up tugging it as she moves backwards. "What is this thing made of? Concrete?"

On the roof, Lloyd is running around in a circle in a complete panic. "They're coming! They're coming! They're coming!" Pythor barricades the roof door, but Jay breaks it open and he flips onto the roof.

"Shocked to see me?"

"Do something!" Lloyd yells at Pythor, who laughs and steals the map from Lloyd. "Wh-what are you doing?" He asks as Pythor moves away and opens the map. "I thought you were my friend."

"All you wanted was to make the Serpentine your slave. Well, sorry, my dear boy, I have other plans." Pythor replies, before disappearing.

Lloyd tries to escape as Jay approaches him. The Destiny's Bounty lowers down with Sensei Wu standing by the side. "Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, you come here right now!"

"I got him." Jay said walking up to the child, grabbing him and throwing him over his shoulder to bring Lloyd to him.

That night, inside the Destiny's Bounty. Lloyd is laying in Sensei's bed as his uncle sits next to him. The Ninja stand in the doorway as they watch the scene with disapproval looks on their faces as Sensei finishes reading Lloyd a bedtime story.

"Oh, if dad had read me that book, I would never have made that mistake. I'm sorry, uncle."

"Oh, you don't need to apologize." Wu said as he closed the book. "I am sure that if your father was still here, it would be the first book he'd read. Good night, nephew. Sweet dreams."

The blonde yawns. "Good night, Uncle."

The Ninja quickly leave to head up to the deck, meeting up with Sensei. "I don't get it, Sensei." Kai said.

"Why isn't the little brat getting punished?" Jay asked.

"Yeah, we had to train all day and he gets read a bedtime story? It's not fair." Cole added.

"Hmm." Wu strokes his beard. "You're right. I nearly forgot. Why are you not still training? Did you find the answer to the riddle?"

Kai sighs. "No, Sensei. We still don't know what the best way to defeat your enemy is.." He, Jay, and Cole start to leave.

"It is to make them your friend." Wu finished, making the Ninja stop and turn to him.

"Oh."
