Sonic & Ayla Unleashed 6/8
(Ayla's POV)
*We made our way to a village in Alaska, where all the houses were made of snow. It was night now, so the Werehogs were out. We asked the villagers the location of the temple & a man named Jari-Thure & his wife, Sarianna, gave it without any sign of fear. Then we ran animal style across the ice. Jumping over ice flows & battling robots & monsters. Eventually, we made to the outside of the temple. Suddenly, we were hit by a flash of bright light. We looked & saw a creature that resembled a combination of an eel & an eastern dragon. It had a very large mouth with thin, sharp teeth, though it's jaw was a bit crooked, two sets of curved & split horns on it's head, a green abscess on his lower belly area, his upper back, & on his forehead, encased in ice. Suddenly, one of it's eyes turned to us & then broke out of the ice, roaring*
Chip: Oh no! *he hid behind us as we jumped into the fight. just then, we found a canister covered in ice. we broke it & picked it up* This canister thing looks real cold! Wonder if we can use it somehow . . . *and that's what we did. Sonic threw the canister at one of the monster's many heads, freezing it. then I attacked the head until it burst into black smoke. then we jumped on the platform where the main head was on* I bet that big lug's weak spot is that green glowing thing! Wonder if you could freeze the big guy using this chilly canister!
*He was pointing to a green spot on the back of the monster's neck. I smirked*
Ayla: Chip, one thing we've learned from fighting Eggman's robots all these years, there's always a weak spot in your enemies.
Sonic: You got that right. *we followed the plan & used the canister to freeze the base of the monster's neck & then attack. it took multiple tries & defeating it's multiple heads over & over until the monster fell & burst into black smoke*
Sonic: Sorry, we're in a rush here!
*Then the three of us did a group high-five*
Ayla: And that's how you do it to it!
Sonic: Aw yeah!
Chip: Yay!
*Sonic & I howled & victory*
*We went into the temple & Chip used the gem on his collar to make the pedestal appear. Sonic placed one of the Chaos Emeralds in, it started to glow cyan, & rose up into the air. I felt my heart pound as the Emerald got it's power back. Then the Emerald floated into my hand. Then I heard a voice in my head again*
Chaos Emerald: To reunite the two worlds, you must . . .
*I looked at the Emerald with a serious look. I knew now it was telling me how I can make Earth & Mobius whole again. Hopefully, this will also save Chuck*
(Third-Person POV)
*In the hospital in Station Square, Chris & Helen were in Chuck's hospital room, watching the news. On the screen, they saw the fourth piece of the world go back into place*
Chris: Did you see that, Grandpa? They did it. They put another piece back.
Chuck: Yes . . . Feels just like old times. I'm just glad I can be apart of one more adventure before . . .
Helen: Don't say that, Chuck. You're going to be okay.
Chuck: I wish I could believe that, Helen. I really do . . .
*Chris & Helen looked really worried*
*As soon as we finished in Alaska, we headed straight to Iran. It was daytime, so we were back in our normal forms. We were surprised to find Professor Pickle, Sally, & Amy there as well*
Ayla: Professor Pickle? What are you doing here?
Professor Pickle: I wanted to see myself what this other word was like.
Amy: I've been their tour guide. *then she hugged him* And wherever you go, I'll follow.
*I rolled my eyes. Then I noticed Sally looking a little jealous, which made me smirk*
Professor Pickle: Yes, Miss Amy has been an excellent help. This place looks so much like Shamar, a city back in our world where I have a research facility. I wonder they make a decent cucumber sandwich.
Sally: Uh . . . Professor. According to the tour book, their specialty dish is curry.
Ayla: Really!? *I ran up to her with sparkly eyes* Wow! I haven't had a decent curry since Ella's when we stayed here!
*Yep. You guess it. Curry is one of my favorite foods. As long as it's not spicy*
Sonic: Speaking of food, I'm getting hungry. Why don't we get some lunch?
Chip: Good idea.
*After lunch, which was some delicious curry, Sally & the Professor went to research some nearby ruins while we went through the city, asking around about the Temple. Most were a little reluctant to give the location. Eventually, an elderly man named Ehsan told us the location & we headed there. On the way, we ran through the city & across the desert, battling robots along the way*
Ayla:*in her mind* Why am I not surprised Eggman already knew the Temples were here?
*By the time we got to the Temple, it was night, so the Werehogs were out. Suddenly, just as we reached the Temple, a giant ball of electricity appears over it. Then the ball disappears & a giant humanoid lizard with thin arms with four-fingered hands, no spikes on its back, a straight tail, a horn that was turned over the right side of its face, which is highly detailed with pointed purple and white streaks, small white eyes, long green hair, & holding a large warhammer with a round end that was by surrounded in purple electricity came out of it. Sonic & I charged at it.
Sonic: Looks like we can push this box thing.
Ayla: Good idea.
*While Sonic pushed the boxes across the field, I battled the monster, but it kept getting it the way of my brother*
Sonic: We keep beating it down & it gets right back up! There's gotta be a better way!
Chip: Ooh! Ooh! Guys! What if you took the boxes over to the blue place!
*He pointed to a blue glowing path*
Ayla: It's worth a try!
*Sonic did just that. While distracted the monster, Sonic pushed the box to the path. Fences that went up & down kept blocking it way. Eventually, he got the box on the path, it moved along the path, towards the top. Then it went inside & moved the rocks that seemed to be blocking the path*
Chip: Ackkk! Something broke! . . . Ooh, but it looks like it working!
Ayla: Whatever it's doing, let's keep it up!
*As we battled the main monster, more of the other monsters appears.
Chip: Look like those annoying nightmares stay gone for a while if you clear 'em out!
Sonic: Hopefully, that'll be all the time we need!
*He moved another box
Chip: It's definitely working, guys! Keep going! More!
*One of the smaller monsters was trying to move the last box away, but we stopped it. Then Sonic started to move the box towards the path, while I kept the monsters at bay.
Chip: Almost there, guys!
*Suddenly, the main monster grew huge & Sonic & I battled it together*
Sonic: I know little girls who are better with a hammer than you. Well, one, anyway.
Ayla:*laugh* Yep. Nobody can beat Amy when it comes to using a hammer.
*With tha said, we defeated the monster & howled in victory*

*I looked at the Chaos Emerald. Egar to learn what I need to do for both worlds*
