Multiple oneshots of different RWBY universes, some happy, some sad, some fluffy, some inspired by other works of art, some that will make you question your choice to read this… maybe more than some.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, just liked the thought of doing something like these little stories, hope you enjoy.
'One-Punch-Woman'
Pretty obviously inspired by One-Punch-Man, I wait for season 3 patiently.
"YES RUBY-SENSEI!" Yelled Jaune as he practically exploded out of the door, moving with all the speed that his engines would allow, in the direction of the supermarket to grab the one ingredient that she forgot yesterday when making her cookies.
This left Ruby Rose alone in her little apartment in the abandoned sector of the massive city, all by herself as she lazily waved a goodbye at Jaune when he blasted off. It wasn't such a rush as she was really enjoying the video games that Oscar had given her, they gave her a challenge at the very least, a fight she had to work hard for, something she had not had to have for nearly 3 years now.
Sighing to herself she looked at the TV screen that read game over once again and she waited for the load time to respawn at the checkpoint, her eyes briefly took notice of the clock on the wall and she scratched at her bald head, she still couldn't believe that after all this time the rigorous training had left her bald, but hey, at least she was able to be a great hero now.
A hero that never had a challenging fight, but a hero none the less, and sure she was technically only B rank, but she was b rank 2, soon enough she would be A rank then she could join Jaune in S classification. Maybe she would even get some fans of her own, Jaune surely got his fair share of fan mail, mostly girls all saying how handsome he was. She wondered if she would get it from people telling her that they thought she was beautiful or amazing, sure Jaune did it, but he was technically her student? Sidekick? Trainee? She wasn't too sure of the bond between them, she did enjoy having him around though.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Huh, seemed that Jaune got the chocolate chips faster than she thought, maybe he had gotten a little faster since their last sparing match after all, good for him.
Opening the door she was greeted with a woman's breasts, then casting her eyes up higher she met the steel blue gaze of a woman with snow white hair and a stern look on her otherwise attractive face. "Um, I'm not interested in buying anything."
The white haired woman then frowned even more than she already was, which Ruby did think was a little impossible until she saw it, then she noticed the 2 in suits beside her, both of them were large men with impressive muscles. "Oh hey! I know you, you were rank 2 in class B before me." Ruby pointed out to the one on the left as he too also frowned more than you could expect someone to frown.
"Yes, he was. Now he is rank 3, and you are rank 2; do you know who I am?" Asked the white haired woman with a professional voice.
Ruby raised an eyebrow and scratched her cheek. "Um, no?"
The one on the left suddenly exploded with fury as he stomped his foot and then pointed at Ruby with such a force that Ruby leaned back a little out of feeling too much pressure on her. "THIS IS CLASS B RANK 1! WINTER SCHNEE ALSO KNOWN AS THE HERO SNOW TUNDRA!" He yelled at Ruby, who then wiped the spit from her face and head.
"Oh, cool. Nice to meet you I guess. Are you going to be moving up to Class A then? Does this make me rank 1?" She asked innocently, eyes also looking around for Jaune in-case he came back, he knew more about the classification stuff than she did, him being Class S after all.
This Winter Schnee seemed to scoff at her, something she had only read manga characters do, not in actual life. "While I did consider it a while ago, I quickly realised that there is no point. You will never get passed A rank 1 to get to S. So instead I stay at B rank 1, you have power as a rank 1-"
"Yeah sorry, I don't really care about that, I just want to get into S classification, with my friend J-" Ruby tried to say to stop whatever monologue that she was going to go on, she didn't really pay attention to them when the villains did them, besides, Ruby didn't think this Winter was going to become a friend of hers at any point, so she wouldn't really listen to her.
"HOW DARE YOU! THIS IS RANK 1 AND YOU WILL SHOW HER RESPECT! GET HER!" Ruby didn't know why they needed to 'get her' she was standing right there in-front of them, but when the 2 suited guys jumped at her, she quickly made sure to push them away, not to hard.
"AHHHH!" Winter watched as her most trusted for the 'newbe crushing', suddenly rocketed through the air and slammed into some broken down and long abandoned cars, crumpled in a heap together, then she turned back to this Ruby Rose, her silver eyes showing a hint of disappointment, directed at Winter.
"How dare you simply shove those 2 like that!" She activated her powers, while they were weaker than her sister, she still had the strength to defeat someone the likes of him.
That is when a massive explosion of dust covered the entire area and suddenly she was down on the ground staring at the red cape of Ruby Rose as she covered her. Once she blinked her eyes back into focus and her ears stopped ringing she was able to see and hear Ruby talking to a figure in the dust, and when they walked out it was-
"DEMON ARC!?" Class S rank 15 was here? And talking to Ruby like they were good friends?
"Winter Schnee, Class B rank 1. I assume you are here to intimidate sensei into not going for rank 1? Like you do to all promising heroes so you can stay on top?" Winter then had the good graces to look ashamed, it was one thing to do it, but it was another to be called out on it by someone from S Class, especially someone with power like the Demon Arc.
"That's not the main thing here Jaune! You almost blew up our apartment!" Ruby screeched at him, waving her arms animatedly.
"Yes I do apologise sensei, it has become rather dust out here, but I was facing a villain, he calls himself your rival."
A few moments earlier.
"Thank you for your purchase, sorry it took so long, I'm just a really big fan!" Squealed out the young woman behind the counter of the supermarket, Jaune simply nodded.
"It was well within the expectation of time limit, do not worry." And then he walked out of the store and started sprinting towards Ruby Sensei's apartment that he had also moved into, well he had moved into the one next door, but the wall in-between them was broken so he treated it as the same. That was when his sensors picked up a fast moving object also heading in the direction of Ruby Sensei's apartment and he instantly moved to intercept, only to just miss the object.
His sensors then tracked it coming towards him and he placed down his shopping and stood ready, when the image of a young man with silver hair pulled into a pony tail appeared. "Who are you and why are you heading towards Ruby Sensei's home?"
The silver haired man grew an evil smile. "Did she not say? I am her rival! Speed-of-sound-Mercury! The fastest one there is!"
Jaune just stared at him. "No you are not, Ruby Sensei is." He held out his arm, the pilot light burning up in his hand. "Incinerate."
FWOMBBBBBBB
A destructive burst of heat blasted towards this silver haired man and Jaune managed to track that he had moved out of the way, so he blasted off after him, calling out incinerate when he had him in his sights.
Which led them to now.
CLANG BOOOOOOM
A ninja star hit Jaune in the head and exploded in bright flash, something that would have blown a hole in anything else, but not in Jaune, he was made of far tougher stuff. "You can throw a 100 of those and they would not leave a dent."
Mercury landed on a nearby lamppost, holding another ninja star in his hand and looking at Jaune with an evil grin. "You are talking tough, but you have yet to actually touch me! Let alone hit me!" Then his grey eyes widened in surprise as he spotted Ruby. "Ah there you are rival! Now watch as I turn this 'hero' into scrap metal right in-front of your very eyes!"
"Sensei, I will rid you of this 'rival'. Accelerate." Jaune said as he suddenly rocketed behind where Mercury is and Mercury had to launch himself out of the way to avoid an explosion.
BOOM
While he was sailing in the air, Jaune was suddenly up and above him, calling out his next move with determination in his eyes. "Machinegun blows!"
CHINGCHINGCHINGCHINGCHINGCHINGCHINGCHING
His hands moved so fast that Mercury could just about avoid all of them, then when his toe just touched the floor, Jaune was right in-front of his face once again and striking with a powerful punch, that he had to lean back away from, watching as a burst of powerful purple energy sailed over his head and blew up part of the out of order bridge behind them.

Mercury put some distance between them when suddenly he saw Jaune managed to strike out once again from behind him, and he sped forward out of the way in an expert display of agility and speed, in his mind he was thinking something different, as he was insulted more than anything. 'Does this guy actually think he is faster than me?! Just because he always gets behind me!'
"Huh." Said Ruby out loud as she watched the fight take place. "Looks like Jaune's gotten a little faster than last we sparred." She remarked casually, as Winter looked in shock at the destruction that was happening to fast for her to keep track of.
Jaune then stopped and observed Mercury who had stopped ahead of him, glaring at the cyborg in fury. "You think you're faster than me!? You still haven't hit me!"
"You had some lint in your hair." Was all Jaune said as he opened his hand and dropped the end of Mercury's pony tail, much to the shock of the speed ninja who then trembled in anger and let out a cry, right as he all but vanished on the spot.
The next thing that Jaune's sensors could pick up on, there were somehow 4 of him all around him, and they were closing in on him. "I call this move-" Mercury said, with his voice reverberating because of the speed he was going. "-4 FOLD DEATH-"
Jaune looked in panic for a moment, his only move of action was to charge up his core for a self-implosion in the hopes to take out Mercury at the same time. 'Sorry Ruby Sensei, this is the only wa-'
Right as the explosion might have happened and Mercury might have managed to slice Jaune into scrap metal, Jaune suddenly vanished from sight and he was right next to Winter Schnee, who let out a cry of shock at the turn of events. "Ruby Sensei?!"
"I've told you before Jaune, no blowing yourself up. I will deal with this guy." Ruby announced as she swished her cape, the sun managing to capture her image perfectly, and for a moment Winter was struck by how much of a hero she looked, Jaune just smiled and resumed kneeling excitedly, he couldn't wait to see his Sensei and best friend in action once again.
"Finally, I've been waiting for this Ruby, I am coming at you with all my speed; 4 FOLD DEATH!" Mercury cried as he moved, his after images appearing instantly. "NOW 10 FOLD DEATH!" Then even more appeared and Jaune's eyes widened as his sensor could barely keep up with the movement, meanwhile Winter was just seeing a blur of movement where this Mercury was.
Ruby watched all of this with an impassive look on her face. "Hey that's a cool trick, I'm gonna try it. Serious series; side steps."
WHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOSH.
If Jaune and Winter had trouble seeing Mercury, Ruby was invisible to them, moving so fast they were unsure if the very planet was shaking or not when she suddenly left cracks from where she stepped.
"WHA-" Mercury tried to cry out, only to have himself be swept up in the blur that was Ruby, sending him crashing several miles down the road in utter pain as he groaned to himself, he didn't even see what she was doing properly, she was too fast even for his eyes.
Clawing at the road and pulling himself up, at least he was far away from that cyborg now, Ruby would not care to finish him, but that Demon tried to kill him with every blow, Mercury struggled all the way to a little building where he passed out, he would have to do even more training to become even faster than Ruby!
Jaune started clapping as Ruby finished doing her lates move. "That was amazing Ruby Sensei!"
"Thanks Jaune, hey did you pick up the ingredients we need for the cookies?" Ruby asked as she strolled over to her friend, who instantly then blasted over to the bag, then jumped back next to her.
"Yes I did, I had to use a coupon though." He admitted, as Ruby looked a bit sad at that.
"Oh well, we'll just have to participate in that eating challenge again next week to get a few more, funds are running low at the moment for me."
"Yes Ruby Sensei, I spent most of mine on new upgrades and on a new oven." Jaune admitted.
"The upgrades are cool though, you were a bit faster than when we had our training spar." Ruby acknowledged as they entered her apartment, she went to close the door only to find Winter Schnee had followed her inside, a slack jawed expression on her face. "Oh, um you're still here?"
"Ho-how did-what is going on here?"
Luckily Jaune knew. "We are about to start cooking Ruby Sensei's favourite snack." Ruby nodded as she put an apron on herself, handing Jaune his own one.
"Do you want to stick around and join us?" Ruby offered as she looked at Winter, she didn't seem so serious and uptight as she did before hand, maybe seeing a villain attack had cleared her head to the real problem.
"Um, uh, yes-if that is okay with you both!" She stumbled out her words, Jaune then pulled out a chair for her to sit in, which she shakily did, as the cyborg in the pink apron went about making a tea for the guest, while Ruby hummed to herself as she got out a rolling pin.
Very soon they all sat around the table munching on cookies, and Jaune got a few curious looks from Winter. "How-how do you eat those?"
Without even missing a beat Jaune answered. "Ruby Sensei makes very tasty cookies."
Blinking a moment, Winter rephrased the question to the handsome cyborg. "No, I mean how do you, a cyborg eat."
"I still have most of my internal organs, my limbs and outer are all cybernetic, but my brain, heart, lungs and stomach are all still in perfect condition." Ruby then placed a hand on Jaune's shoulder.
"And you are still the most humble and human person I know, despite everything."
"Thank you Ruby Sensei, perhaps one day I shall introduce you to my sister Penny, she is exactly like me."
Sharp knocking at the door interrupted the 3 of them from continuing the conversation as Jaune then rose up to answer it.
"WIZARD!" Winter cried out in shock, the strongest human being on the planet was currently walking into the room, looking at Ruby.
"Thank you Jaune, hey Ruby, do you have my console? I think I left it here yesterday." Oscar said as Ruby then nodded, getting up to grab the small device, while Jaune pulled up another chair for Oscar 'Wizard' Pine to sit in. "Oh cookies, freshly made?"
"You know it, here you go. I can't get past level 15 though." Oscar accepted it with a grin.
"Ah, I'm sure you'll figure it out, hint though; wait for the boss to lunge, he does that after his string." Oscar offered as he tucked the hand held game device into his bag, Ruby's eyes widened in shock and she turned to Jaune.
"I knew it was the lunge!"
"I apologise Ruby Sensei, I believed it was the jump attack."
Oscar then nodded at Jaune. "Jump attack does leave them open, but that is only if you use fire elemental, otherwise you'll be there for ages trying to chip away it's armour."
Winter was currently catatonic with confusion as she observed the scene in-front of her; how was a Class S hero like Wizard, just sitting calmly at a table like this with these 2? He was the strongest human on the planet!
"Oh I know you, um what are you doing here Winter? Did your sister send you to spy on Ruby and Jaune?" Oscar asked her curiously, taking a sip of tea that Jaune had poured him. He was a good friend and partner to Ruby, eagerly helping where he could, especially when it came to Ruby's friends.
"I-I-I came to… I came to stop Ruby from taking rank 1 from me, stop her from moving into Class A." Winter admitted shamefully as Jaune glared at her with disappointment, Oscar looked shocked and Ruby-
"Wait you can actually stop me from going to the next rank? Monkey Rider let me go right on ahead, so I guess you can stop me if you want to." She said slouching in disappointment. "Shame, I was looking forward to joining you in Class S."
Winter looked on in surprise. "Do you not know? You wouldn't be able to make it to S, because A rank 1 would not let you, that is why I haven't moved up. You have more power as a rank 1 than as anything else, rank 2,3 and 4 are all disciples of the Ninja of Love, and she has tried talking to rank 1, but she does not let people past her."
"Well she won't have a choice!" Declared Jaune as he stood with his fist raised, already lighting up in power. "I will incinerate her if she denies Ruby Sensei the chance to move up." He declared while Ruby just shrugged.
"Well I've never heard of this person, but I reckon I can defeat more monsters than they can, in-fact I'm going to go and look for some right now." Ruby then stood up, heading to the door as Jaune quickly stepped up behind her, ready to follow her. "Oscar, warm up the consoles for when we return! A 4 player game if you can please."
"I have just the one."
"You coming?" Ruby said to Winter. "Might need a witness for when I get into Class A, then I will be sure to help my friend get past to Class S."
Looking stunned at everything that had happened so far in this day, Winter stood up slowly and followed the duo out of the door, trying her hardest to fly and keep up with them.

WHACK
3 punches and 3 monsters exploded into various different colours of goo, Jaune then incinerated a monster and Winter watched on with amazement at what Ruby could do; she was so fast, so strong, so powerful and so heroic.
Later that day while they were playing video games, Winter called up the agency and told them to move her up into Class A, she didn't want to stand in the way of the progression of an up and coming hero like Ruby. When they asked about her, she bit her lip and told them she would remain Class B for now, it was a better way to keep an eye on things that were happening among the ranks.
But privately she was just to stunned to think that someone like her could ever possibly match the power shown by this-
One-Punch-Woman.
Why is Jaune Genos, it should have been Penny?
Sure, but this guy has not won a fight he has been in, and you don't even know which one I'm talking about.
