Dudley Dursley

30th of April, 1999.

Harry pulled his hair back in a low ponytail and looked his outfit over. He didn't necessarily want to stand out, but he didn't just want to wear a t-shirt either. He guessed the jeans were alright. The vest was maybe a bit much, but he looked damn good so he wasn't going to care about that.

"Heading out?" Remus asked as Harry walked out of his room.

"Yeah, I should be able to catch Dudley before the match if I leave now," Harry said.

"You are taking the car?" Remus asked. It was quite early still, but he guessed Harry preferred having a full cover just in case.

"I am," Harry said. "I need to drive it every once in a while or I might forget how to." He picked Leoline up and hugged him. "You have fun now and don't bug Draco; he is doing important stuff." He tickled Leoline and placed him back down. "See you tomorrow," he called as he headed down the stairs. He made it to the car and sat down in the driver's seat. There was something calming about driving a car. All he had to care about was the other cars and maybe an animal or two.

Finding a good parking space was a mess, but Harry was still glad to have taken the car. Especially, when Dudley came walking out of a nearby restaurant with his girlfriend and a few other friends.

Dudley caught sight of him and waved. "Good you came in early," he said once he had made it across the street. "This is Amy, my girlfriend."

Harry bowed. "A pleasure to meet you," he said. "I'm Harry. If you listen to his parents I'm a deranged criminal."

"Must be damn good at it."

"Yeah, sure John. Dude looks more like a rich kid. Does daddy pay for everything?"

Dudley gave the guy a dark look.

"Well, my godfather does have more money than he knows what to do with, but my freelance job pays more than what I need," Harry said calmly.

Amy walked up to him and took his arm. "What do you do then?" she asked as they kept walking.

Dudley's phone ran and he grimaced. 'Can I leave you?' he mouthed to Harry.

Harry gave him a thumbs up. "Well, I work security," he told Amy. "I can't say much more. My clients demand a certain amount of secrecy, but it does bring a lot of travel."

"You're our age, but you work already?" John asked.

"I went to an exclusive private school that offered apprenticeships right away. I started working when I was sixteen," Harry said. "I just did smaller things back then of course, but hard work pays off. As does the willingness to go where other people don't really want to."

Amy steered them over to a set of big doors and got them inside. They settled down on the stands together. People were gathering in groups around the room. "It is a shame that Dudley needed to leave," Amy said. She looked at Harry. "I mean you came to see him."

"It's fine," Harry said. "I don't ask him to put his life on hold for me." His eyes narrowed as a group of guys came walking their way. He noticed Dudley's friends moving closer together. He leaned back casually. Somehow he had ended up in the centre of the group. He got the feeling that he'd just replaced Dudley in their dynamic for now.

"So poofter. Back are you? Didn't we make it fucking clear you're not welcome here? Maybe we should teach you a lesson." The head of the group cracked his knuckles.

Harry sighed. "What's with people like you?" he asked. He could see that he threw them off. He was a new face, someone they didn't know. "Why come over here and threaten one of us?"

The leader of the croup crossed his arms. "I can tell that you're new. I don't know who the hell you are. I don't care. We just don't want any cocksuckin' little puff around here," he said. "Little pansy takes it up the ass and it's fuckin' disgusting."

Harry stood up slowly. "And that affects you how?" he asked. "Who cares what anyone's preferences in the bedroom are? It isn't like this is some kind of show and tell. We're here to watch the match same as you. If you have a problem with someone in our group just stay away. You don't have to come near us."

"You suck cock too huh. You little fairy," one of the guys said.

"So what," Harry said. "That still doesn't matter at all. What in Mara's name has you so concerned about other people's sex life?"

"Dude ain't getting any," John said. "His personality is so foul none wants to stick around."

"You fucking…" The guy went to swing at John.

Harry parried the blow and pushed him back. "Just leave," he said. He had caught sight of security and they didn't look amused. "Turn around and walk away."

"Fuck that."

Harry parried another blow and moved back. This guy was bigger than Charlie for sure, but Katla would have been able to pick him off the ground so Harry wasn't too worried. He just had to not get hit before security reached them. He backed off and raised his hands calmly as soon as the guards reached them.

"Is there a problem here boys?"

"We just want to watch the game," Amy said. "These guys seem to have a problem with people who aren't exactly like them."

Harry sat back down and sighed. He wasn't too keen on bigots. He certainly could do without them.

"Those guys will be waiting outside for us. They are stupid persistent."

"Hey don't worry Felix," John said. "Dudley will be with us when we leave and Harry here apparently has no fear."

Harry chuckled and shook his head.

"Thanks," Felix said. "I mean it is cool when someone can be so calm."

Harry turned slightly and looked at Felix. The guy was shaking. There was history between him and the bully that much was clear. He wasn't going to push though. "Just let me know if there is something I can do," he said. He turned his gaze to the only guy he didn't know the name of by now. "So we have Amy, John and Felix. What's your name?"

The guy shrugged. "I'm Dan. I guess you're alright," he said. "Dudley doesn't talk much about you. Felt like he's ashamed."

"That is a story that is up to him to tell you," Harry said.

"I thought maybe you weren't, you know, going to be alright with us… I guess that ain't true," Dan said.

Harry chuckled. "Nah, I don't care about sexuality or stuff like that. You do you as long as you don't hurt anyone."

"Without their consent," John added.

Harry shrugged. "Sure," he said. He froze mid-smirk as he looked around and took a deep breath. "I guess I know what that phone call earlier was," he said.

"What?" Felix asked.

"Mr and Mrs Dursley just walked in," Amy said.

"Great," John said while rolling his eyes. "Cause we needed to deal with them tonight." he moved so Felix could sit down behind Harry with Dan and John on either side of him. Thankfully the Dursleys didn't walk their way even though Petunia did wave to Amy.

The lights went out and the ring lit up. An announcer walked out and started talking. Harry smiled as Dudley walked out. His cousin looked intimidating. He didn't really know any of the rules or tactics for boxing but that didn't seem to matter since John wouldn't stay quiet for more than half a second. The collective gasps and groans were quite interesting to hear. Harry felt hands land on his shoulders and squeeze as Dudley took a pretty bad punch. He didn't comment and the hands stayed. He knew Felix was nervous about those guys so he didn't feel like pushing him away.

Amy shot out from her seat in glee as Dudley took the round.

"Three more rounds, but it is looking really good for Dudley," John said. "He definitely looks to have the upper hand."

Everyone in their group cheered as Dudley won. Felix pulled his hands back finally realising what he had been doing. He hoped Harry didn't take offence. He had been cool earlier, but he had met guys who acted cool before. Some of those had still pulled away from him like he had some kind of infection or virus that could spread to them. He rubbed his hands together, turning his knuckles white.

Dudley smiled as he walked up to them and kissed Amy. "That went well," he said. He looked a little bruised, but not that bad. He read the group and looked straight at John. "What's up?" he asked.

"Idiots showed up," John said. "The clingy type. Harry blew them off, but you know them."

"We could leave through the back I guess," Dudley said.

"No, let's go out front," Harry said. "More people that way."

"My parents want to go out to eat," Dudley said. "They invited everyone."

"Yeah, I don't think I'll join for that," Felix said. "I know your dad isn't the biggest fan."

"I guess we should be staying with you," John said.

Felix chuckled. He knew how much John liked the idea of free food. "I don't mind," he said.

"I can stay with Felix," Harry said. "They definitely don't want to see me. It will be calmer for everyone if I'm just not there."

"Let's head out after," Dudley said.

"Normal place?" Felix asked.

"Yeah, I think that's best," Dudley said.

"Sounds good," Dan said. "So what will you guys do in the meantime, huh?"

"Get something to eat," Harry said. "I'm sure we can find someplace that's good around here." He saw Felix rubbing his neck nervously. "I'll pay," he said. He could see how Felix blushed.

"I guess," Felix said.

"Sure no problem. We'll meet you at the club later," Harry said. "If you don't want all the good-looking ones to have stomped off in jealousy, you better show up." He placed an arm over Felix's shoulders and led him outside. "So we have to make sure that moron gang doesn't get ideas I guess. He looked around. He was cheating of course. It wasn't that hard for him to keep some muggles from seeing him if he didn't want them to. "So what do you want to eat?" he asked.

"Italian maybe… There is a really good place just a few blocks away. I don't know what budget you're…"

Harry waved him off. "Don't worry about it," he said. "Dan is right about me having money. I got it through hard work, but you know.."

"Can't get everything right," Felix said. "Don't worry about it." He turned as he heard his name being called. His face lit up as a group of colourful people crossed the street. "Hey guys," he said. He immediately relaxed and leaned in closer to Harry. "This is Dudley's cousin, Harry," he said. "Dudley's parents showed up to the match, and they don't get along so we were going to get some Italian."

"Now that sounds great."

"Yeah… well…"

Harry could tell there was a money issue again. These were broke students. He didn't mind expanding their group if it made Felix happy. "It's on me if you guys want to join," he said.

"You don't have to," Felix said.

"Are you kidding Felix if he wants to get us all Italian I'll happily do whatever he wants."

"You are such a slut, Jacky."

"Oh, shut it, Ben."

Harry just shook his head and smiled.

"I'm Sebastian by the way," the last guy said as he wrapped an arm around Ben. "I'm up for some Italian, especially if you're buying."

"You okay?" Harry asked Felix. He seemed more relaxed now that the other guys had joined them and Harry was worried he was the problem. He was still holding Felix but wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not. He noticed the glances people were throwing them as they walked. His eyes narrowed suddenly as he looked down an alley. He raised his hand and gave a wave to Tonks. She was working so he didn't do anything else.

The restaurant looked great. It was clean and decently busy, but there were definitely available tables. Harry finally let go of Felix and walked ahead of the group. "Good evening, I'd like a table for five, please," he said. He could see the server looking the group over before looking back at him. He wondered briefly if she was trying to determine something that couldn't quite be seen.

"Of course please come with me," the server said.

Everyone sat down and menus were handed out. Harry opened his and ordered a glass of wine based on the knowledge Lucius had hammered into him during their more relaxed meetings. He checked the food and placed the menu down. He knew what he wanted already.

"So you are Dudley's cousin. How did his match go?" Sebastian asked.

"He won," Felix answered.

"Of course he did," Jacky said.

Harry chuckled. "I'm Dudley's cousin. We grew up together… well until we turned fourteen. A good friend of my father's was sick so he couldn't take me when my parents died, but they managed to finally get him better so I could go there instead of staying with Dudley. I didn't know no one had told Dudley until I showed up." He looked at Ben. "In the café last summer."

"That makes a stupid amount of sense somehow," Felix said. "Also explains why Dudley didn't talk about you much I guess. He didn't know how you were doing."

"Yeah, we had some catching up to do," Harry said. "Which is made harder by the fact that I work abroad a lot."

The waiter took their orders and Harry leaned back with his hand on his wine glass.

"Wait that is one fine-looking rock you have there," Jacky said. He reached out and grabbed Harry's hand so he could look at the ring. "This is so beautiful," he said. "But on your left hand. You have someone waiting for you at home handsome?"

Harry shook his head. "Not tonight no," he said. "But I am engaged sure."

"And you are wearing the ring," Ben said. "Or do both of you have rings?"

"Charlie has a pendant on a chain," Harry said. "He doesn't like rings." He could see Felix hiding his face in his hands.

"I was fucking convinced you were straight," Felix muttered. "Damn sure of yourself but still."

"I just don't care," Harry said. "If I'm into someone it's for their personality. Though my late girlfriend did point out that I had a thing for self-assured women and somewhat dominant men."

"You can't be that much older than us. You sound like you have had plenty of experience," Sebastian said.

"We had an open relationship," Harry said. "Elle and I dated a lot of people there for a while."

"But she died," Ben said.

Harry smiled sadly but he didn't say anything. He preferred not to lie if he could get away with it. Most people caught on without him actually having to say the words.

"But you are in a committed relationship now?" Sebastian said. "So you miss the… I don't know what to call it… freedom of having multiple partners?"

"Nah, I'm fine," Harry said. "Elle was the one who really wanted it that way and I didn't mind. Charlie wanted to be exclusive so that's how we do it."

"But you never get tempted?" Jacky asked and smiled seductively.

"People certainly try," Harry said. "I'd never cheat on my partner though so that is just kind of annoying. Especially after I have told them I have a partner."

"Well that is understandable," Ben said as he placed his knife and fork down.

"We're heading to the club after this," Felix said. "Any of you want to come along?"

"Dudley and his gang are joining too?" Jacky asked.

Felix nodded.

"Yeah, sure I'll come along," Jacky said.

Harry called the waiter over and asked for the tab. He was getting the feeling that they were ready to leave. He got up to pay and walked over to the register. As he headed back to fetch the others, a waitress bumped into him. He could feel the liquid seeping into his clothes.

"Oh, I'm so so sorry. I… Oh, I… I…"

It was red wine. Harry took a deep breath. He was fine. Winky could get that stuff out, no problem. He turned to the waitress. He could see someone walking out of the kitchen and he was kind of worried that he was holding her job in his hands right now.

"You clumsy girl. How could you do that? You ruined his clothes."

Harry raised an eyebrow and looked over at the woman who had started screaming. "How does this affect you, ma'am? You don't know me and I don't know you. Please back off." He sighed. "Well I'm going to have to get changed," he said. He reached out and placed a hand on the waitress' arm. "Are you alright?" he asked. "I'll be fine. I'll just get this stuff cleaned. You don't have to worry about that."

"Yeah?" the waitress said. "Are you certain, sir?"

"Yes, don't worry about it," Harry said.

"Do you have a change with you?" Sebastian asked.

Harry shook his head. "I don't think so," he said. "I used to because of my guideson, but he doesn't get so messy I have to change anymore. I don't know If I replaced the last set I used."

"If you want to stick around we could probably find you something to wear at our place," Sebastian said as they left the restaurant.

"It would be a shame if you left already. You came to see Dudley, but have barely spoken to him," Felix said.

"Let's see what we can do," Jacky said. He grabbed Harry's arm and started pulling. Harry laughed and followed along. They made it to some sparse but nice apartments and Jacky pulled him up the stairs to the fifth floor where everyone else was waiting. "I don't like elevators," he said.

They walked into the apartment and Ben showed Harry the bathroom so he could get washed off. Sebastian opened his closet and pulled out a pair of pants. "They too small for me so maybe they'll fit him," he said. "Ben's would be too small."

"Sure they might be good," Felix said.

"He needs a good shirt or something," Jacky said. "Your stuff is just going to be too big Sebby. He needs something tighter."

"Please don't throw things all over the place, Jacky," Ben said.

Harry rolled his eyes. He knew he was going to walk out there in just a towel. He took a deep breath and pushed the door open. He felt less comfortable showing all the scars he carried to people he couldn't explain them to.

"Holly crap," Jacky said as he saw Harry. "What the heck have you been through? You look like you've battled a dragon or something."

"Sure," Harry said. He took a surprised step back as the towel was ripped off.

"Really Jacky, leave the guy some dignity," Ben said as he brought Harry the pants. "I'm sorry about Jacky he's got some issues with personal space and decency among other things."

Harry just shook his head. "It's fine," he said. "I don't really care about that." He accepted the polo shirt he was handed and he raised an eyebrow at Jacky. He could tell how tight this shirt was going to be and he could bet it would be riding up. At least it was black.

"Now don't you look hot," Jacky said. "You could use some colour, but I'll have to run home for that. I'll see you guys outside."

Harry sighed as Jacky disappeared. "Is he always this…?" he wasn't sure what to say.

"Jacky has had it rough so when he finds people who are nice to him he sometimes goes a little overboard," Sebastian said. "We try to stick together you know. Unfortunately, I'm the only one whose parents didn't just you know…"

Harry nodded slowly. "I see," he said.

"Not a problem for you either, huh?" Felix said with a smile.

"Not from anyone I care about," Harry said. "My godfather doesn't care, but I have made my family. My sister started out as my best friend. My closest parental figures are the parents of a good friend of mine. I count so many people as family, but none of them is blood-related to me except for Dudley."

"That sounds both kind of sad and kind of nice," Felix said. "Made family can be so much better than birth family." He looked at the door. "I think we should head out. Jacky might get some insane idea if we're not out there when he's done."

Harry looked down at himself. As predicted, the shirt was riding up more than he would normally like.

"We can get you something more comfortable," Ben said.

"How upset would Jacky be?" Harry asked. He could wear a tight shirt for one night if it made someone else happy. Judging by their facial expressions he was better off keeping the shirt. He grabbed the hem and folded it up. If he was going to show midriff he might as well do it properly. The silvery scars he had gotten from the selkie cleansing just peaked out below the hem. He grabbed his hair tie and pulled it out. "Let's go," he said.

Felix reached out and took Harry's arm. "You're being very nice," he said. "Jacky will be very happy."

It had gotten colder when they got back outside. Thankfully everyone but Harry had a coat and he wasn't the least bit bothered by the cold. He smiled softly as Jacky came running up to them with a long colourful scarf that he pulled through the loops of Harry's pants quickly before tying it. His hand rested maybe longer than it should on Harry's abdomen before he moved away and smiled. Harry reached out towards him and with one arm around Felix and one arm around Jacky, he followed Sebastian and Ben towards the club. They were checked at the door and headed inside. The music was pumping and Harry glanced towards the dance floor. He certainly wouldn't mind getting out there. First, he had something else to take care of. He walked up to the bartender and let go of Jacky. He waited until the dark-clad man turned his way.

"What would you like?" the bartender asked.

"Is there a way for me to pay for my friends without having to walk up here every time they want something?" Harry asked.

"We have ticket strips," the bartender said. "You pay for ten drinks and free water. There is a cheaper and a more expensive option."

"Sounds great I'll take nine of the expensive ones," Harry said. He pulled his card out to pay and proceeded to do just that. He was handed ten strips and wrapped his arm around Jacky again.

"You are throwing money on us," Sebastian said as he took the offered strip. "We're not going to drink for all of this."

"So?" Harry said. "Now you don't have to worry about it. Feel free to drink whatever you want even if it is soda. I don't care." He hadn't bought them to get anyone indebted to him. It was just money. He had enough to spend and he didn't mind. "Now if everyone is satisfied I'm going to not leave the dance floor for the rest of the evening." Jack clung to him as he gave him and Felix the chance to not go with him.

"In a way, it's a shame he's taken 'cause he is so sweet to Jacky," Ben said.

"I think it's good he is taken and so clear about it," Felix said. "He said it himself. He travels a lot for work so he wouldn't be constant enough for Jacky. I hope we can meet his fiancé too. The guy would have to be quite the something."

"Yeah," Sebastian said. "Look at him keeping up with Jacky. I thought you and Amy were the only ones who could, Felix."

Felix chuckled as he watched Harry dance. He kind of itched to get out there himself and Sebastian and Ben could definitely entertain each other well enough without him. Besides, the others were showing up soon enough. "See you," he told his friends before heading down to join Harry and Jacky.

When Dudley walked in some time later with the rest of the gang he took one look around before letting out a laugh. "I don't know how Harry got dressed by Jacky, but heck look at that," he said.

"I'm joining them," Amy said. She kissed her boyfriend before heading onto the dancefloor. Harry pulled her in as soon she reached them.

"Tickets," Sebastian said as he handed out strands to the newcomers. "It is Harry's treat."

"What happened to him?" Dan asked.

"A waitress accidentally spilt wine all over him," Ben said.

"So Jacky forced him into one of your shirts?" John said as he looked at Ben.

"Yeah, he didn't want to hide all those muscles," Ben said. He stood up. "I'm heading down there. They look like they are having fun."

Dudley joined Ben and they were quickly pulled in as the group of friends danced together. Sebastian got up. He figured he might as well join his boyfriend. He left Dan and John sitting by their table. "I don't understand how they have so much energy," Dan said.

"I don't understand how they can do that sober," John said. He watched as Harry spun Felix around. "I'm glad they can just do that though and not have to worry."

One at a time or in small groups they would grab drinks and sit down for a bit before heading back out on the dance floor. There were plenty of other people around. At some point, John disappeared off with someone, but no one seemed overly worried.

Dudley sighed as he sat down with his drink. He saw Harry come walking back. "You having fun?" he asked.

"Yeah, this isn't something we got a chance to do that often," Harry said. "It is nice to get this side of things too." The music picked up and it became nearly impossible to hear someone speak. Harry moved up on the table so he and Dudley could keep talking. "I have plenty of friends who would like this. I might want to put something together at some point before too many of us get settled down with children."

"I would be cool to come out there on graduation," Dudley said. "I guess that wouldn't work though… with my friends I mean."

"Wouldn't be a problem," Harry said. "I can fix things so you could bring people over. It isn't that complicated. I just need to know how many people are coming that's all." He had learned further just so they wouldn't have to scream to hear each other. "It is a bit to go to get there though. Is that what you want?"

"I'll check with the others," Dudley said. His eyes widened as Harry was pulled off the table. At first, he thought it was Jacky being overexcited, but the guys that were surrounding Harry when he looked over were not their friends. He stood up.

"Want your little boyfriend back? I didn't think you were a poof D. Fucking insane that you could beat me in a fight." The guy pushed Dudley back. "Now you get to see your little fairy-boy get the Hoover treatment. You should have just let me win D. Would have been better for everyone."

Down on the dancefloor, Ben grabbed his boyfriend. "Joe is here. Looks like they're threatening Harry," he said.

"I'll get security. Gather the others up. We're leaving as soon as we get them out of there," Sebastian said.

Harry's eyes narrowed as one of the guys holding him grabbed his chin. "You like sucking cock you little slut." Harry was pushed down roughly. "Better put that mouth to use if you wanna live."

Harry didn't wait. He hated people like this. He pulled out of the grip holding him down and kicked out toppling the other guy. Then he was back on his feet. "We're leaving Dudley," he said. "Our friends are heading out."

"Oh, you really think it will be that easy," Joe asked.

"I really think I could kick your ass if I had to and you're pissing me off," Harry said. "I'd prefer not to fight because you are at such a disadvantage, but if you insist we can take this to a ring, and I'll show you just how I got my scars." He had been building magicka almost unintentionally and released it on the three idiots who had attacked them. At first, they just backed off uncomfortably, but when Dudley cracked his knuckles and moved over so he was standing next to Harry, they took off running. "You okay?" Dudley asked as he placed a hand on Harry's shoulder.

"I'm fine," Harry said. "I'm just glad it was me and not one of the others."

"Several of them have had back encounters with those dudes already," Dudley said. "You had everyone relax more so we weren't keeping an eye out the way we usually do."

"It must be exhausting to have to look over your shoulder all the time," Harry said.

"I'm sure it is, but I'm not really a target so it doesn't affect me," Dudley said. "I'm just trying my best to keep the guys safe." He wrapped an arm around Amy while keeping the other arm around Harry. "Let's head over to our place," he said. "I don't think anyone should go alone tonight just to be safe. Harry offered to hold our graduation party at his place. I was thinking we might want to take him up on that just to avoid stuff like this."

"With just us?" Jacky said.

"Nah, with anyone you want to bring and I can invite some friends too if you want more people around, but we could ensure that it is a friendly environment instead of people having to look over their shoulders all the damn time," Harry said.

"Sounds good to me," Felix said. "I'd certainly prefer that to going to a place like this where Joe could show up. Knowing that everyone is fine with us liking guys just would make things easier."

"Not everyone will be interested, but all my friends know how to just say that without being rude," Harry said.

"Yeah, let's just do that if you are alright with it," Ben said.

"Get me a date and I'll set it up with everyone. I need a guest list, but you don't have to tell me who they all are as long as one of you keeps track of everyone that enters so we can get them all out when it is time to leave," Harry said. "If you want something specific I could drop in a week beforehand and plan."

"Ben, Amy and I will check on stuff," Jacky said. "Don't worry we'll make sure everything on our end works out."

"We need directions though," Amy said.

"I'll write some up for you before I leave tomorrow," Harry said.

They walked into Amy and Dudley's little apartment and Dudley pulled out a big mattress on the floor. He pushed the couch to the side and moved the table. Once he was done he looked around.

'Kitchen,' Amy mouthed. They had done this often enough when a night had turned sour, but it was Harry's first time. She wasn't sure how he was taking it.

"You okay?" Dudley asked as he walked up to Harry.

"I'm fine," Harry said. He placed a glass down on the counter and rubbed his neck.

"Does the offer still stand?" Dudley asked as he leaned against the counter.

"Which one?" Harry asked.

"The one that would legally make us brothers," Dudley said.

Harry blocked the kitchen off and asked Winky for the vial he needed. It appeared next to him on the counter a moment later. He handed it over. "You drink that and it's done," he said. "It will taste awful and it might be a good idea to lie down after, but nothing else should happen."

Dudley uncorked the vial and drank the potion down. He grimaced. When Harry said it tasted bad he wasn't kidding. He found it strange that it was so simple. The vial disappeared and they walked back out to join the others. Harry moved into the middle of the pile and sat down. He rolled his eyes as Jacky grabbed his arm and hugged him.

"We're starting a Lethal Weapon marathon, but chances are no one will be awake past the first one so don't worry about falling asleep," Amy said. She put the tape in the player and started everything up.

Dudley sat down next to Harry and everyone made themselves comfortable. Amy came over and sat down in Dudley's lap. "Can I play with your hair?" she asked Harry.

Harry shifted and moved Jacky onto his lap. "Go ahead," he said. He could feel her hands move through his locks.

"It is so thick," Amy said. "You could do so much with this if you let it grow out more."

"I guess I could do that," Harry said. He watched the movie and felt how Jcky fell asleep against him. Eventually, Amy moved over to Dudley and they settled down.

25th of April, 1999.

Harry reached consciousness. He was warm… and weighed down. He knew he wasn't home. It didn't smell like home. His head was resting on something that was moving. He could hear snoring from more than one person. He wasn't uncomfortable, but he needed to get up to go to the bathroom. He opened his eyes and looked around at Dudley's friends. He sat up slowly while making sure Jacky stayed as comfortable as possible. He was cheating, but no one was awake to notice so it didn't matter. He got up and teleported past everyone so he could head to the bathroom. He checked the time and headed out the door. He could have just asked Winky for ingredients, but it would look better if he had a grocery bag.

When the others started waking up Harry was back in the kitchen beating pancake batter. He had two pans on the stove and some fresh fruit and berries on a plate.

"This the treatment you get from having you over, huh?" Felix said as he walked in.

Harry shrugged. "I like cooking," he said.

"You'll be stuck in here until noon," Felix said. "I really hope you have nowhere to be today."

"I'm fine," Harry said. He made pancakes and made sure there were directions to Ennerdale before leaving. It was getting late when he came back to Ennerdale.

"What are you wearing?" Draco asked when he walked into the living room.

"A waitress spilt a glass of wine all over me," Harry said. "I was with no-mag's so I couldn't just fix it. One of Dudley's friends was very bossy."

"And you are too nice to argue," Draco said.

"Trauma," Harry said. "They didn't say anything out loud, but that guy's been through some shit. We'll be holding a graduation party for them here. There are too many muggles that can't keep to their own frickin business running around. We were threatened twice yesterday."

"Who threatened you?" Charlie asked as he walked into the room.

"Some non-magical guys," Harry said. "The first group was just fronting. The second wanted to get physical and I'm glad they targeted me and not the other guys."

"I want a memory," Charlie said as he walked up to Harry and wrapped his arms around him. His eyes closed as Harry shared the two confrontations with him. A small smirk spread over Harry's lips as he felt the arms around him tightening. Then they weren't standing in the living room anymore, and Charlie was kissing him deeply. "My, aren't you being possessive, hun," he said once he was allowed air again.

"You are enjoying it," Charlie said. "You don't have to put yourself in dangerous situations to make me possessive. I can do that anyway." He pulled Harry's shirt off and threw it to the side. "I want you," he said.

"Then take me," Harry said.

5th of May, 1999.

Charlie made sure that Kaanaaz and Suro were sitting securely before apparating to Hogsmeade. He was a little late, but classes hadn't started yet. At least teaching at Hogwarts meant they could spend the time when they didn't have classes at home. He was glad to be back with Harry. "So we have what third and fifth years today he asked when he finally joined Harry.

Draco was taking this time to work on his potions. It was a little over the top to be all three of them for a lesson with so few students. At least the ones that were there seemed to like it.

Tanya hugged Harry once class was over. "That was amazing," she said.

"Thank you," Harry said. He took her hand and pulled her to the side. "I'd like to ask you something," he said. "Charlie and I are getting married. We would like you to carry the armlets down the aisle."

"Me really?" Tanya said. "Yes, I'll do it."

"I need to take you for a fitting with Sue at some point," Harry said. "She is making all of the clothes." He smiled as she hugged him.

"Any time," she said. "Could you stick around for a bit?"

"Sure," Harry said. He sent the dragons back with Charlie and walked into the school with Tanya.
