Choreographing the Future
Ladybug cautiously makes her way through the quiet streets of Paris, the moonlight casting a soft glow on the city. The events of the day have left her heart racing with anticipation and a touch of nervousness. She can't help but feel a sense of excitement as she approaches the Agreste mansion, determined to have a long-overdue conversation.
Adrien, having meticulously prepared his bedroom for this special occasion, feels a mix of nerves and anticipation. He wants everything to be perfect for Marinette's visit, hoping to create an atmosphere that will encourage open and honest communication. Candles flicker softly, casting a warm and romantic ambiance, while soft music plays in the background.
Plagg sits on Adrien's desk, watching his holder meticulously change the pillows on the white couch in his room. "You know, Marinette is coming over so you guys can finally talk. Not to hang from the chandelier, right?"
Adrien chuckles, his heart racing with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Alright, Plagg, I promise we'll talk, but I can't guarantee that nothing else will happen. Love has a way of surprising us, doesn't it?"
Plagg smirks mischievously, popping a piece of cheese into his mouth. "If you two do get up to anything, please keep me out of it for tonight, alright? I've had my fair share of your hormones. It's Tikki's turn now. She keeps saying how that kind of stuff doesn't bother her."
As Adrien finishes arranging the pillows on the couch, he hears a soft fluttering sound outside the window. His heart skips a beat, and he turns to see Ladybug standing gracefully in the open window, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Adrien's breath catches in his throat, struck by her beauty and the significance of her presence in his room.
Plagg flies over and sits on Adrien's shoulder. "You okay kid? I know you've been dreaming of this moment for ages, so don't screw it up."
Taking in a shaky breath, Adrien walks over to his window, his hand outstretched. "Here allow me, Princess."
Ladybug takes Adrien's hand and gracefully steps inside the room. "Thank you, Chaton," she says, her voice filled with gratitude.
As her eyes sweep across the beautifully arranged scene, Ladybug can't help but smile. "You've truly outdone yourself, Kitty," she remarks, appreciating the romantic ambiance.
Her attention then turns to Plagg, who is still perched on Adrien's shoulder. "It's nice to see you again Plagg," she says warmly, acknowledging their familiar companion.
Plagg gives Ladybug a small nod, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Likewise, Marinette," he responds before excusing himself and flying back to the desk, where his beloved cheese awaits. "Remember, kid, it's my night off. No transforming," he reminds Adrien with a playful tone.
Adrien, his hand still entwined with Ladybug's, guides her to the inviting white couch and settles down beside her. A swirl of emotions fills his chest, causing his throat to tighten. His gaze remains fixed on her enchanting bluebell eyes, which hold a depth of love and understanding that leaves him breathless. In a tender moment, Ladybug leans in and presses her lips against his, a sweet and affectionate kiss that leaves Adrien momentarily speechless.
"Wow..." Adrien finally manages to utter, his voice filled with awe and disbelief. The reality of having Ladybug in his room is still sinking in, overwhelming him with a mix of joy and wonder.
Ladybug giggles softly, pulling back from the kiss and straightening up. "You okay, Adrien?" she asks, her eyes filled with playful curiosity.
Adrien stammers, his words stumbling over his tongue. "Uh... Yeah," he finally replies, his cheeks flushing with a touch of embarrassment. The presence of Ladybug, so close and so real, leaves him momentarily flustered and at a loss for words.
Plagg, perched on the desk nearby, snorts with amusement, thoroughly enjoying the awkward interaction between the two. Ladybug raises an eyebrow, her gaze shifting to the mischievous Kwami.
"What?" Ladybug asks.
"Oh, nothing," Plagg replies with a mischievous grin. "It's just you being here, in Adrien's room, transformed. It's something he's been wishing for a long time."
Ladybug's eyes widen as she realises the implications of Plagg's words. Her hand instinctively covers her mouth, and a look of surprise mixed with understanding dawns on her face. "Oh... Oh, I see," she murmurs softly, her voice filled with realisation.
Ladybug's gaze lingers on Adrien's face, a mixture of playfulness and affection in her eyes. "Well, Adrien, I was actually planning on transforming back, but... seeing how this is essentially your dream come true, how can I say no?" Her voice carries a teasing tone, emphasising the lightheartedness of the moment.
Adrien's eyes go wide with surprise, a delighted smile spreading across his face. "You mean... you'll stay as Ladybug?"
Ladybug nods, her lips curling into a mischievous grin. "Yes and if you're a good boy, I might just reward you. But, we still need to talk about the linguistics of our relationship."
( ️Trigger warning ️)
Adrien's cheeks flush even deeper, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and anticipation. He takes a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "Yes, of course. Whatever you say, Ladybug."
Ladybug smirks, her eyes glinting with mischief as she leans closer to Adrien. "You know, Chaton, I think it's time to switch things up a bit," she purrs, her voice laced with a hint of authority.
Adrien is taken aback, a mix of surprise and anticipation rushing over him. He swallows hard, a wave of warmth flooding his cheeks. "W-what do you mean?" he stammers, his heart pounding in his chest.
Ladybug places a finger under his chin, tilting his face upward to meet her gaze. "I'm taking the lead tonight, Kitty," she whispers, her tone dripping with confidence. "And you, Adrien, will obey."
Adrien's breath hitches, his mind spinning with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. He's never experienced this side of Ladybug before and the prospect both thrills and unnerves him. He gives a hesitant nod, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, Ladybug. I trust you."
Ladybug's playful smile widens as she leans in closer, her voice a seductive whisper in his ear. "Good boy," she murmurs, her breath warm against his skin. "Now, let's have a little fun, shall we?"
Leaning in closer, Ladybug's lips meet Adrien's in a tender kiss, a sweet collision that sends a gentle shiver down his spine. Their eyes lock in a captivating gaze, a silent conversation of desire that echoes between them. Adrien feels himself gradually relaxing, the taste of cherries lingering on his lips. His hand gently cups Ladybug's face, a soft, wordless plea to draw her nearer.
Ladybug, sensing the magnetic pull, shifts her weight and climbs onto his lap fully. The warmth between them intensifies, their lips remaining locked in a dance of longing. Time seems to slow as they savour the moment, lost in the delicious cadence of their hearts beating as one.
In the suspended hush that follows, Ladybug slowly withdraws, breaking the kiss. She licks her lips, savouring the lingering connection. Gazing down, she is met with the mesmerising sight of Adrien's eyes, dark and dilated with desire. 'Enjoying yourself, Adrien?' she teases
Adrien takes a few deep breaths, "Yes."
"Yes, what. Adrien?"
"Yes, Ladybug."
Satisfied, Ladybug leans in, reigniting the flame of their kiss with renewed passion. Her hands, once cradling his face, now dance down to his shirt's collar, unveiling the canvas of skin beneath. With a subtle diversion from Adrien's sun-kissed lips, Ladybug begins a tantalising exploration, leaving feather-like kisses along his neck, each one a prelude to a gentle bite that sends shivers through his being. A soft, almost musical moan escapes Adrien's lips, his arm instinctively wrapping around Ladybug's slender waist, pulling her into an even closer embrace. Ladybug smiles, momentarily breaking contact. Adrien breathes a sigh of relief, but it's short-lived. In a heartbeat, he feels Ladybug's lips return to his neck, her hands now under his shirt, a gentle exploration that glides up his chest. His eyes flutter closed, savouring every moment. "Mari-nette…"
Ladybug grins, but stops abruptly. "Marinette? Who's Marinette?" She asks sweetly, fanning innocence. "I am Ladybug and you will address me as such."
"Yes, sorry. Ladybug."
Ladybug gracefully removes herself from Adrien's lap, standing tall, her back turned toward the tall, imposing windows of his bedroom. Beyond her, the city lights twinkle in the distance. As Adrien feels the sudden absence of her weight, he sits up, his gaze fixated on Ladybug. She stands like a silhouette, framed against the exquisite backdrop of the clear night sky, the city lights a distant symphony to their intimate moment.
"Stand up, Adrien, and go to the window," Ladybug instructs.
Adrien obeys, standing still, his back pressed against the cool glass of his glazed wall. He watches intently as Ladybug makes her way over to him, her hips swaying with each confident step. She raises to her tiptoes and presses her soft lips to his, savouring the moment like a delicacy.
Then, with a deft move, she spins him around, his back now facing her. Adrien attempts to steal a glance, but a teasing whisper halts him. "Tisk tisk, Kitty. No peeking," Ladybug breathes into his ear. "It will spoil the surprise."
Adrien's breath catches as he feels gentle hands wrap around his waist, a subtle dance of touch that sends shivers down his spine. The room is alive with a quiet intensity, and he can hear the rustle of fabric as Ladybug's skilled fingers work, a promise of vulnerability and connection.
As Adrien's lower half is revealed, the air is charged with anticipation, he feels the warmth of Ladybug's hands exploring. In that moment, he steals a glance at Ladybug, who gives a wry smile, a silent acknowledgment of their intimacy and her enjoyment of this shared experience.
Ladybug's voice, laced with a teasing tone, brushes against Adrien's ear. "Enjoying yourself, Adrien?" she whispers, her lips barely grazing his skin.
Adrien, caught in a mix of pleasure and desire, manages a breathless "Yes, Ladybug."
A soft, mischievous chuckle escapes Ladybug's lips as her hands continue to work their magic, "are you sure? I could stop if you want."
Adrien, feeling the anticipation building, earnestly protests, "No, don't stop. Please, Ladybug."
In the dimly lit room, Ladybug's eyes gleam with hunger as she continues her teasing. "Beg for me, Adrien. Beg me not to stop."
Adrien's breath hitches, passion evident in his voice, "Ladybug, please... don't stop. Keep going."
Ladybug, her expression a canvas of delight, smiles playfully. Her eyes sparkle with shared pleasure, basking in Adrien's enjoyment. "As you wish," she responds, her tone tender and accommodating. She continues, savouring the intimate connection between them.
With no space between himself and the glass, Adrien places his hands on the large pane, fingers pressing against the cool surface. He supports himself as his body relishes in the familiar sensation, the connection to the outside world now blurred by desire.
The room fills with soft moans, a symphony of pleasure orchestrated by Ladybug. Her movements, a delicate dance in sync with the music, create a harmony that resonates through the air.
In the intimate dance of pleasure, Adrien's senses are heightened, every touch and movement a delicate symphony of connection. As the sensation grows stronger, Adrien tilts his head forward, his eyes glazing over, his breathing ragged. Leaning in further, he presses harder on the window, surrendering to the heightened intimacy. The room seems to pulse with the rhythm of their passion and Adrien loses himself in the tender embrace of the moment. As the music plays, so does the melody of his connection, an intimate composition that lingers in the air.

After a few moments, Adrien's attention refocuses and he finds himself once again seated on his couch. A surge of confusion washes over him as he attempts to comprehend the recent events. They appear hazy and indistinct, leaving him questioning their authenticity. The room, once pulsating with intensity, now feels strangely quiet and Adrien is left grappling with the lingering sensations that play tricks on his senses. In the blink of an eye, Adrien snaps back to reality, catching sight of a cheerful Marinette gazing at him.
"Back with us?" she inquires, extending a cold beverage towards him.
Accepting the refreshing drink, Adrien takes a sizable gulp. "Marinette. What you did, it was amazing! Thank you."
Marinette giggles, her face flushed. "No need for thanks, Chaton. I enjoy making you happy."
After a pause, they let the recent occurrences settle in. Marinette inhales deeply, mentally preparing herself for the important conversation ahead. "Setting aside the enjoyment for a moment, we must address our future steps. While Ladybug's nightly visit to Adrien's house is delightful, we mustn't forget that there are four individuals involved in this relationship."
Adrien adjusts his posture, directing his full attention to Marinette. "You're absolutely right. It's crucial for us to establish who will be recognized as a couple in the eyes of others."
Tikki emerges from Marinette's purse, while Plagg hovers and perches on the coffee table in front of them.
"Well," Tikki proposes, fully out of the purse, "the simplest solution would be to have Marinette and Adrien as one couple and Ladybug and Chat Noir as the second."
"Yes, but let's not forget, Sugarcube, that Marinette and Chat Noir have already built a strong bond. Moreover, Marinette's parents have already welcomed Chat Noir into their home. If Marinette and Chat Noir were to abruptly break up after all this time, it wouldn't reflect well on him. Additionally, when Marinette eventually introduces Adrien as her boyfriend, they will undoubtedly face numerous inquiries. Questions that I believe neither of them would be eager to answer," Plagg adds while nibbling on a piece of cheese.
Marinette lets out a frustrated groan, tugging at her pigtails. "And let's not overlook the fact that Alya knows my secret identity. Currently, she only suspects that Adrien and I are dating, without knowing the full truth. I've been avoiding having a conversation with her until I have a clear understanding of what's happening," Marinette explains, taking a sip of her drink.
"Wait! Alya knows you're Ladybug?" Adrien gasps in disbelief.
Marinette blinks a couple of times, taken aback. "Um... yeah, she's Rena Rouge," she admits reluctantly.
Adrien remains dumbfounded, staring at her in astonishment. Adrien's expression transforms into a mix of confusion and realisation. His mind races as he connects the dots, recalling the interactions between Rena Rouge and Carapace. "Wait a second. If Alya is Rena and she's dating Nino. Rena and Carapace always display affection when they're together. I can't imagine Alya cheating, so that must mean... Hold on, is Nino actually Carapace?" Adrien asks, seeking confirmation.
Marinette's face fills with panic as she brushes off Adrien's question, realising the gravity of the situation. "Oh my god! We're in serious trouble. If people start piecing the puzzle together, our secret identities will be at risk. And if Shadow Moth mistakenly Akumatizes the wrong person, it could spell disaster! He would have the upper hand," Marinette exclaims, worry evident in her voice.
Plagg and Tikki exchange a worried glance, acknowledging the difficult situation their owners find themselves in. They silently reach a shared understanding and come to a resolution. Tikki takes the initiative and positions herself between Marinette and Adrien.
"Marinette, there's no need to fret," Tikki reassures. "You and Adrien are not the first Ladybug and Chat Noir to be in a romantic relationship. Many before you have faced similar challenges and managed to navigate them."
"Really?" Adrien chimes in, with a hopeful look.
"Absolutely," Tikki affirms, offering a reassuring smile. "Throughout the history of Ladybug and Chat Noir, there have been numerous instances where the two heroes have shared a special connection beyond their crime-fighting duties. It's not uncommon for them to form deep bonds and even become romantically involved. You and Marinette are continuing a tradition that has existed for generations."
"That's great, Tikki. So what do we do to ensure our secret?" Marinette asks, her determination evident in her voice.
Tikki hovers between Marinette and Adrien, contemplating the best course of action. After a brief moment of consideration, she responds with a reassuring tone, "We'll need to continue with the current arrangement, Marinette. You and Adrien will maintain your close friendship while keeping your romantic involvement a secret. No-one can know, not even your parents."
Adrien nods in agreement, understanding the importance of protecting their secret identities. "As for Ladybug and Chat Noir, we'll continue our crime-fighting partnership while keeping any romantic inclinations discreet. Flirting and banter can remain our trademark, but we won't explicitly confirm anything," he suggests, his eyes glinting with a mix of playfulness and seriousness.
Marinette's expression softens as she absorbs the plan. "And Adrien and Ladybug will keep their connection completely hidden, not disclosing it to anyone," she adds, emphasising the need for utmost secrecy.
Tikki offers a supportive smile, her eyes reflecting her unwavering trust in Marinette and Adrien. "Exactly. By maintaining these boundaries and preserving the separation between your identities, we can safeguard our secret and minimise the risks associated with exposing the truth. It won't be an easy task, but I have faith in your abilities to handle it."
She hovers closer to Marinette and Adrien, her voice filled with encouragement. "Please do your best to uphold these commitments, but remember, we are a team. If any developments arise or if you need guidance along the way, please don't worry, we will face whatever challenges come our way."
Tikki turns her attention to Plagg, seeking his input. "Anything you want to add, Plagg?" she asks, curious to hear his thoughts.
Plagg, being his usual carefree self, throws a piece of cheese into the air, swallowing it whole and lets out a loud burp. "Nope. I think you've covered it all, Sugarcube," he replies nonchalantly.
Marinette and Adrien exchange a knowing glance, a mixture of amusement and exasperation at Plagg's casual response. Despite his playful attitude, they understand that Plagg's support is essential, even if it comes with a side of cheese-induced indifference.
A small alarm beeps, breaking the silence. Marinette pulls out her mobile phone and frowns as she checks the time. "It's already midnight. I better get going," she says with a hint of reluctance. Rising from her seat, Adrien quickly stands as well, a flicker of concern crossing his face. "Stay," he implores, his voice gentle yet determined. Marinette raises an eyebrow, surprised by his request.
"It's late, and it's been an exceptionally long day," Adrien continues, his expression reflecting his weariness. "Let's take this night to unwind and simply be together. No superhero duties, no responsibilities, just the two of us."
Marinette's hesitations melt away as she sees the sincerity in Adrien's eyes. The weight of the day lifts from her shoulders and a warm smile graces her features. "Alright," she concedes, her voice filled with tenderness. "I'll stay."
Taking Marinette hand in his, Adrien guides them both to the double bed, a haven of tranquillity and respite.
In the soft glow of candlelight, they settle down together, finding comfort in the embrace of each other's presence. The weariness of the day begins to fade as they share quiet moments, their voices hushed and their gazes locked.
Wrapped in the warmth of their connection, they exchange whispered words of love and understanding, their touch gentle and reassuring. As the night continues its enchanting journey, Plagg and Tikki gracefully extinguish the candles, ensuring not a single flame remains flickering. Their diligent work complete, they too find their own places to rest, alongside Marinette and Adrien's sleeping forms. The room descends into a gentle darkness, the soft glow of the candles replaced by the quiet stillness of the night.
