Erin and Justin entered her apartment dripping wet from the rain. 'We are at risk of falling ill after being exposed to that rain,' Justin remarked as he squeezed water out of his hair and removed his jacket.
'Especially you, since you were only in a tank top and jeans,' he added while assisting Erin in taking off her shirt, leaving her in a bra. 'I needed to speak with you,' she explained, rolling her eyes.
Justin chuckled and suggested, 'You could have called me, and I would have picked you up.' As they walked down the hall towards the closet where towels were stored, Erin confessed, 'I wasn't sure if you would answer my call or talk to me.'
'Why would I ignore you?' Justin questioned, handing her some towels and noticing her lowered gaze. 'Because I have been ignoring you and not responding to your messages for the past two months,' Erin revealed.
Erin heard Justin sigh as he returned the towels to the rack and then addressed her, 'Look at me, Erin,' he instructed, moving a hand to gently tilt her chin and meet his gaze.
The brunette felt a wave of emotions as she locked eyes with him, perceiving a mix of hurt and love in his expression. Overwhelmed, Erin whimpered, feeling unworthy of his forgiveness or affection.
Justin continued to stare into Erin's hazel eyes, expressing understanding and tenderness, 'Erin, I acknowledge your need for space after recent events and believe you will eventually come around.' Erin fought back tears, absorbing his words of concern.
'I was hurt by your avoidance of my calls and messages, as well as your withdrawal from Shay and others who care about you, especially after you stopped attending Molly's,' he expressed.
Erin expressed, 'I regret that I have many apologies to make, don't I?' With a solemn expression, she clarified that she never intended to cause harm to anyone, especially those who care for her. She acknowledged her mistake in associating with someone who did not genuinely care for her and only sought to take advantage of her.
Overcome with emotion, Erin held back her tears as Justin comforted her by saying, 'Indeed, you have a lot to make amends for, but I believe everyone will assure you that everything will eventually be alright.' Justin's words reassured Erin as he affectionately touched her face, then proceeded to kiss her passionately.
The brunette reciprocated the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck, while Justin lifted her up and carried her to the bedroom, disregarding the towels.
Without breaking their embrace, Justin gently laid Erin on the bed and proceeded to unhook her bra with her assistance. As Justin's lips caressed her neck, the brunette let out a soft moan in response.
It was at that moment that Erin moved her hands down Justin's pants, starting to unbutton them, while Justin removed his shirt and assisted his girlfriend in getting his pants off, with her jeans following suit.
Justin, pausing for a moment, asked Erin, 'Are you certain you want this, Erin? I do not wish to cause you any pain after what occurred with-' However, Justin's words were halted by Erin placing her hand on his lips and stating firmly, 'I am sure. Let us not dwell on the past. I need you, and I know you need me,' she whispered, prompting Justin to nod in agreement.
After planting a kiss on her lips, Justin proceeded to kiss Erin's neck once more before moving down to her chest. The sound of Erin's soft moan filled the room as he took one of her nipples into his mouth, gently sucking on it, while he groaned in pleasure upon feeling Erin's hand in his hair.
Erin closed her eyes, savoring Justin's attention on her breasts before he continued down towards her lower body, where she desired him. 'Justin?' she whispered, her eyes fluttering open to observe him pulling down her underwear.
"Justin, I require your assistance," she whispered while observing him kissing her thighs and eliciting a moan from her. "Please be patient, darling," Justin responded calmly.
After an hour, the pair lay in bed, covered by a blanket and cuddling, both naked. "That was quite remarkable," Erin remarked, snuggling in Justin's arms as he chuckled.
"I must admit, I never anticipated such an exceptional experience," Justin said, gently kissing her forehead, prompting Erin's laughter as she rose from the bed.
Observing her, Justin raised an eyebrow. "What's the matter? Are you prepared for another session?" he teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
Erin playfully rolled her eyes. "No, I'm going to take a shower, wise guy," she quipped, getting up and glancing over her shoulder.
"Why are you still lying there?" Erin asked with a smirk, to which Justin replied, rising from the bed. "I was waiting for your instructions to join you," he joked, following his beloved to the bathroom.
Erin responded by rolling her eyes at him and grabbing the towels in a firm manner, stating, 'I am going to take a shower to clean up and warm myself.' Her statement prompted a sigh from her boyfriend, who retorted, 'So, I didn't warm you up just now?' He followed her into the bathroom.
The brunette chuckled at his comment while smacking him on the chest in a playful manner, causing Justin to groan.
'Do you have to hit so hard?' he protested as he entered the shower with Erin, who rolled her eyes in response. 'I didn't hit you that hard, you big baby,' she teased before closing her eyes under the running water.
In a moment of vulnerability, Erin sighed as she felt the water cascading down her body and whispered, 'I genuinely appreciate you staying with me for so long. I would've thought you'd have found someone else by now.'
Justin inquired with a furrowed brow, expressing confusion as he gazed at Erin. He pondered why she would ever think he would abandon her for another person. Even if she were to reject his romantic advances, he believed he would never find someone more suitable than her.
Erin, with a trembling voice and closed hazel eyes, admitted, 'I feel this way because I pushed you away due to my stubbornness.' Peering into Justin's blue eyes, she confessed, 'I wouldn't blame you if you did.'
With a heavy heart, she added, 'I seem to carry misfortune wherever I go.' She burst into sobs, 'You would be better off with someone who wouldn't bring you misfortune,' but her statement was interrupted by Justin placing a finger on her lips.
Hearing Erin repeatedly refer to herself as 'bad news,' Justin furrowed his brow. He understood her background and the hardships she had faced, which was why he and his father had welcomed her into their home.
Justin discreetly whispered to Erin, capturing her attention as tears streamed down her face, a possible fusion of tears and water. He reassured her by saying, 'Listen to me, Erin, you are not someone who brings trouble.' Erin attempted to speak, but Justin silenced her, insisting, 'Do not say anything. You are everything but trouble.'
He gently stroked her hair as he continued, 'You may be quite firm in your opinions, but I would not change that for anything. Do you know why?' Justin gazed into her captivating hazel eyes before declaring, 'Because I love you, and you have been the best thing that has happened to me since I was released from prison. You were always on my mind even during my time there.'
Erin embraced him, confessing, 'I love you as well.' Justin interlocked his arms around her slender waist, smiled, and embraced her tightly, urging her, 'Let go of the guilt and look towards the future. Let's leave the past behind us.'
