Percy put on the invisibility cap on and he followed Thorn from a distance. He thought if Thorn had survived the fall from the cliff, then maybe just maybe Annabeth had too as well. His dreams were right then, she was alive and she was being held prisoner somewhere.

Thorn was keeping well back, and being careful not to be seen by the questers. Finally, Grover had stopped in front of a big building that said NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM. The Smithsonian! Percy had been here a million years ago with Sally but everything had looked bigger then.

Thalia had checked the door. It was open, however there weren't too many people going in. It was too cold, and school was out of session. They demigods and hunters slipped inside however Dr. Thorn hesitated. Percy wasn't too sure why but he didn't go into the museum. The monster turned around and headed across the Mall. Percy had to make a split-second decision and he did, he followed Thorn. The Monster crossed the street and started to climb up the steps of the Natural History Museum. There was a big sign on the door that said "CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT!"

Percy followed Thorn inside, through a huge chamber full of mastodons and dinosaur skeletons. From up ahead, came voices, coming from behind a set of closed doors which had two guards stood outside. They had opened the doors for Thorn and Percy had to sprint inside before they had shut them again. When he was inside, what he saw was so terrible, if he had gasped out loudly, it would have gotten him killed.

He was in a huge round room that had a balcony ringing around the second level. On the balcony, it had at least a dozen mortal guards, plus two monsters. A reptilian woman with double-snake trunks instead of legs. Percy had seen them before, a few times when he was hunting as a god back in ancient Greece. It was a Scythian dracaenae. But that wasn't the worse of it. Standing between the Scythian dracaenae, Percy could swear that his old enemy Luke was staring straight at him. He looked terrible. Luke's skin was pale, his blond hair had started to almost looking gray, as if he had aged ten years in just a short amount of time. The angry light was still in his eyes and so as his scar, that ran down from his face. The scar was now an ugly red, as if it had been reopened. Next to him, sitting down, so that the shadows were covering him, was another man. All Percy could make out were his knuckles on the gilded arms of his chair, which looked like a throne.

"Well?" The man who sat in the chair asked. Percy knew it was Atlas, he had a few run ins with the Titan when he was a god. Dr. Thorn took off his shades, his two-coloured eyes which were brown and blue they were glittered with excitement. He made a stiff bow, then spoke in his weird French accent: "They are here, General but so is the Lost Olympian." Atlas' and Luke's face dropped. Atlas scowled and spoke "Are you sure." Thorn nodded. "I know the demigods are here but where are there?" Atlas boomed

"In the rocket museum, milord." A now nervous thorn." stammered out. Luke corrected him, "The Air and Space museum." Dr Thorn glared at Luke, "As you say, Sir." Percy got the feeling that Thorn would just as soon as impale Luke one of his spikes. "How many?" The son of Hermes asked, Thorn pretended not to hear the demigod. "How many?" The General aka Atlas demanded, "Four, General." Thorn said.

"The satyr, Grover Underwood, the girl with spiky black hair and punky clothes and that horrible shield." Thorn said, Luke interrupted, "Thalia."

Thorn then continued "Two hunters. One wears a sliver circlet." As the general heard that, he growled out "I know that one."

Everyone in the room, shifted very uncomfortably.

Luke turned to the General, "Let me take them. We have more than enough." The general shook his head, "Patience, they'll have their hands full already. I've sent a little playmate to keep them all occupied." Luke complained, "But." However, Atlas carried on "We cannot risk you, my boy." With a cruel smile, Dr. Thorn said "Yes, boy. You are much too fragile to risk. Let me finish them off." The General rose from his chair, "No!" Percy had got his first look on Atlas for a while, He was tall and muscular, with light brown skin and slicked-back dark hair. He wore an expensive brown silk suit like the guys on Wall Street wear, but you'd never mistake this dude for a broker. He had a brutal face, huge shoulders, and hands that could snap a flagpole in half. His eyes were like stone.

Percy felt as if he was looking at a living statue, it was amazing that he(Atlas) could even move. "You have already failed me, Thorn." The General spoke, his tone harsh. "But General." Thorn tried to explain, "No Excuses!" and with that Thorn flinched. Percy thought Thorn was scary when I first saw him in his black uniform at the military academy. But now, standing before the General, Thorn looked like a silly wannabe soldier. The General was the real deal. He didn't need a uniform. He was a born commander.

"I should throw you into the pits of Tartarus for your incompetence," the General said. "I send you to capture a child of the three elder gods, and you bring me a scrawny daughter of Athena."

"But you promised me revenge.'" Thorn protested. "A command of my own!"

"I am Lord Kronos's senior commander," the General said. "And I will choose lieutenants who get me results! It was only thanks to Luke that we salvaged our plan at all. Now get out of my sight, Thorn, until I find some other menial task for you." Thorn's face turned purple with rage. Percy thought he was going to start frothing at the mouth or shooting spines, but he just bowed awkwardly and left the room. "Now, my boy." The General turned to Luke. "The first thing we must do is isolate the half-blood Thalia. The monster we seek will then come to her." "The Hunters will be difficult to dispose of," Luke said. "Zoe Nightshade"

"Do not speak her name!" The general roared.

-Skip to heading west, the junkyard of the gods—

As the demigods and the hunters headed into the desert, they found the junkyard of the gods. On the way they had found out Bianca was over 70 years old due to the fact that last president she remembered was FDR.

Percy had warned everyone, not to touch or take anything from the junk yard as they climbed over, they all spotted things made out of gold, that looked a bow, and other stuff that was defective or just useless to the gods. As they made to an exit.

CREEK

CREEK

CREEK! The noise was coming from Talos. Someone had taken something they all accused each other, until Bianca piped up that she had taken a Hades Myth o Magic figure for Nico. Talos kept creeping closer to them. One giant step at a time, Percy started to formulate a plan. By the time he was ready to execute it, Bianca had already ran under.

Percy yelled "Bianca!" and before anyone could hold him back, he dived under next to her, pushing her out of the way. As the foot came down, it "crushed" him, the others had to carry on with their quest but what they didn't know is that Percy was alive but he wasn't on the mortal plain anymore.

He looked around, it was white everywhere. In front of him, the primordials Ananke and Chronos appeared in front of him. Ananke looked at him, "Perseus, your act of being a demigod is going well. However, if you do heroic acts like you just did, memories within Olympus and the demigods as well as mortal history will start to unlock." Percy sighed slightly, "So that's one already unlocking however some monsters and Titans already know of me like the Manticorn." Chronos sighed.

"We will send you to the base of Mount Othrys with the other questers." Chronos said, he punched Percy in the face, Percy passed out but when he woke he was at the base of the mountain with the others, who questioned him how he survived, he shrugged and they carried on. The first obstacle was to get past Ladon, who guarded the golden apples.

Zoe approached him, "It's me, my little dragon." Zoe said, "Zoe has come back to you." Landon started to shift forward then back. Some of his mouths were closed however some kept hissing. The Dragon was confused.

Meanwhile, the Hesperides shimmered and turned into shadow. The voice of the eldest, spoke "Fool." Zoe spoke, "I used to feed thee by hand," she was speaking in a soothing voice as she stepped towards the golden tree. "Do you still like lamb meat?" She asked, the dragon's eyes seemed to glint.

Thalia and Percy were about halfway around the garden, ahead of them Percy could see a single rocky trail which was leading up to the black peak of the mountain. Above it, a storm swirled, spinning on the summit like it was the axis for the whole world. They'd almost made it out of the meadow when something went wrong. Percy could feel the dragon's mood shift, maybe Zoe got too close. Or maybe the dragon realized he was hungry.

For whatever the reason was, he lunged at Zoe. Two thousand years of training had kept her alive. She had dodged one set of slashing fangs and tumbled under another, she was weaving through the dragon's head as she ran in Thalia's and Percy's direction. She was gagging from the monster's horrible breath.

Percy drew Riptide to help, however Zoe panted then yelled "No, Run!" The dragon snapped at her side and Zoe cried out. Thalia uncovered Aegis, and the dragon hissed. In the moment of indecision that Ladon had, Zoe sprinted past the demigods and up the mountain. They followed her and the dragon didn't try to follow. He hissed and stomped the ground, he went back to his tree.

As they all ran up the mountain, they Hesperides had resumed their song in the shadows behind them. The music didn't sound so beautiful, it now sounded like the sound track for a funeral.

At the top of the mountain were ruins, blocks of black granite and marble as big as houses. Columns were broken. Statues of bronze that looked like they were half melted.

"The ruins of Mount Othrys." Thalia had whispered in awe. Zoe nodded "Yes. It was not here before this is bad." As Zoe explained why it was bad, she potted Artemis holding the sky.

"My lady!" Zoe yelled and ran over. As she did Atlas, Luke came out with Annabeth. Atlas turned to both Percy and Zoe. Thalia was arguing with Luke to let Annabeth go.

Atlas spoke, "You have no right to enter this fight this is a family dispute, Lord Perseus." The titan spat out the last two words. Everyone was shocked, at both. Zoe nodded "He is my father." They all looked at Percy, "Later" he growled out.

Percy and Zoe tried to fight Atlas, but with Percy being limited to demigod powers, he ran towards Artemis and pulled her from out of under the sky. He took the sky, Artemis and Atlas were fighting, often dodging each other's hits.

As Atlas was throwing his javelin at Artemis, Zoe jumped in between them and sent an arrow at her father, the javelin impaled her. "NO!" Artemis and Percy yelled. As Atlas was down on the floor, Artemis kicked him out and dragged Percy out. In Percy's anger, he unlocked some of his power and somehow managed to save Zoe but her body shimmer away but as he did this, time had frozen. As her body looked like it was gone, Percy became a "demigod" again and soon Artemis took the demigods and Bianca back to camp.

That night as people grieved the loss of Zoe and demigods were crawling into bed. Memories and history of Percy started to come back, for the gods it was the memories of Percy becoming a "demigod" to protect the Olympian rule. For the demigods it was the fact that Percy was in fact possibly an immortal.
