Ever since I got back to Mystic Falls, all anyone could talk about was the cure. I know how many people wanted the cure to vampirism. I know how much Rebekah wanted to be human. I was going to help; I really was. Because all I wanted to do was see my family happy.
But ever since we turned, I have triumph their happiness over my own. I never thought about what I wanted. About what would make me happy. I helped break Nik's hybrid curse to make him happy. I agreed to let Rebekah stay in this town to please her. I help everyone else but myself.
If I just listened to my own instincts, if I had just stayed by Kol's side, if I tried not to please everyone at once, my brother would still be alive.
I know Niklaus is fuming right now. But I could honestly care less. I know my sister is worried about me. Since that night, she has been calling me non stop. Once I left the Gilbert house, I started driving away from Mystic Falls. But I will be back. I just have something to take care of first.
More like someone.
If I want to make Elena's life a living hell, first I need to get that cure away from her prying hands. At first, my idea was to give the cure to Rebekah. But then, I heard in one of the voicemail messages she left me, that she was off to get the cure with Elena and the rest of the group.
So, she is basically going on a trip with two of the people who were involved in killing Kol. I decided that my sister does not deserve the cure. I will obtain it and decide what I will do with it.
After I left Niklaus, I decided to track down an old friend. One who would be astatic to ruin the friend group. Took a long time, because this person did not want to be found, as well as I had to recharge after Kol's death drained all my magic.
But a few hours later, I could feel the power in my body amplify. I'm assuming it's because of the amount of anger and hate I am carrying, but either way I love it. I see why Niklaus always strives for more and more power.
And of all the places though, I honestly did not expect for them to be in Miami. It was a long ass drive too. Once I arrive in Miami, it takes me about fifteen minutes to get to their house. I would love to stay here, but I need to avenge my brother and finish what he could not.
I am no longer being the nice one. I have had enough of this, and I think it's about time Elena and her Scooby gang see how powerful I can truly be.
I pull up into their driveway, which is the driveway of a nice beach house. Man, I wish Mystic Falls was more like this. Actually relaxing and less supernatural creatures everywhere.
I get out my car, and walk towards the house. It is almost twelve in the afternoon, so they better be awake. I ring the doorbell, twice. After I don't hear someone coming down the stairs, I walk in by myself.
"Hello? Anyone here?" I question, walking into an empty house. I look around to see an empty bag of blood on the table. Someone is definitely here.
I then see someone vamp speed down the stairs, and then quickly pin me to the wall with their arm. I smile at their gesture.
"Kalle?"
"Hello Katerina." I say with a smile, before she lets go of me with annoyance. "Rude way to welcome a guest."
"Not every day someone comes barging into your home." Katherine says annoyed.
"This is your home?" I ask, not believing it.
"Well yeah. Until I get tired of it and move somewhere else." Katherine states, heading to the kitchen. "Care for a drink?"
I nod, and she gets me a drink from the fridge. I walk up to her as she hands it to me.
"You know, for someone who's on the run from my brother, you're awfully close to Mystic Falls." I state, taking a sip.
"In all honestly, I did not think Klaus would stay this long there. Especially now that his blood bag is a vampire." Katherine states and I look at her surprised.
"You know Elena's a vampire?" I ask shocked.
"Yes, just like I know you and your sister were the ones who drove her off that bridge. And that they are all now looking for the cure for vampirism and Jeremy is the hunter that has the map to it. I've been keeping taps on everything." Katherine states knowingly, before drinking more blood from her bottle. She puts it down for a moment. "Is that why you're here?"
"Somewhat." I state.
"I'm all ears." Katherine stated, and I took one last sip.
"Your doppelgänger killed my brother, Kol." I state and Katherine looks at me surprised. "I mean technically her brother killed him, but she had just as much involvement."
"Why they kill Kol?" She questions.
"To get the map to the cure." I state, before taking another sip.
"If they killed your brother, why aren't they dead? I know you got this whole no killing thing, but what about Klaus?"
"Nik is trapped in the Gilbert living room, because Bonnie is experiencing with dark magic." I explain. When Bonnie left the other night, I could sense the power coming from her. She's most definitely experiencing with more bad voodoo magic, but it's none of my concern. Regardless, Katherine raises her eyebrows at me.
"You didn't release him?" Katherine asks.
"Well if I did, there would be no point coming to you, now would there?" I state and she rolls her eyes.
"So what do you need me for?" Katherine asks me curiously and I look at her with a small smile.
"I need you to get the cure. Under any means necessary." I explain and I see a small smirk form on Katherine's face.
"As much as I would love to snatch the cure right under their noses, I don't even know where it is."
"Well that's easy. They're on an island off Nova Scotia. You just need to find Jeremy, so he can lead you to the location." I explained casually.
"Why don't you just go?" Katherine wonders.
"Because I know what battles to fight, unlike my other siblings. Going against my sister, three other vampires, a Bennet witch using expression, and a hunter, I don't really like my odds." I state finishing my drink. "However, you are fast, sneaky, and have the face of the girl they all want to protect so much."
"I see your hatred has grown for that group." Katherine says putting her drink down.
"Oh you have no idea."
"You know, you still have not told me what's in it for me." Katherine states, and I cross my arms looking at her.
"I'll let you keep the cure. I couldn't care less about what happens to it, I just don't want Elena to get it." I state and Katherine nods.
"Intriguing, but not enough." Katherine stated, and I gave her a fake smile.
"I'll also keep Nik off your trail. I will make it so whenever you are close to him, he will not find you." I state, and Katherine looks at me interestedly. "That's my final offer. Take it or leave it."
Katherine studies my face, I guess to see if I am bluffing. But if I want my plan to work, Katherine needs to be involved.
"Okay, I'm in." Katherine stated, and I gave her a small smile.
Katherine left to Nova Scotia shortly after our talk. I stay behind for a little while to make a fake cure. A copy version. I have been way too driven to sleep, so I just start driving again after I am done.
By the time I arrive back, they should be back from the island. If Katherine did as she was told, she should have the cure on her as well. Now, it's time for my part of the plan.
Before I get back on the highway, I stop by the store to get some water guns, along with some stakes. I realize death is way too easy for them. Some of them do not even want to be vampires, so why would I put them out of their misery?
Now, that I got my things, I get back in my car and start driving back to Mystic Falls. I think of all the ways I could make both Elena and Jeremy suffer. And my twin was Kol, so I have a lot of creative ideas.
I drove for about six hours when I got a text from Katherine.
Katherine: I have the cure, and little Gilbert is dead. Where are we going to meet?
She killed Jeremy? Huh, that actually made my plan a lot more easier. Owe it to Katherine to make Elena's life worse than it already is.
I text her to meet me at where you first enter Mystic Falls and she agreed. This is working out even better than I expected. I know my sister is probably mad, but her and Nik had this coming.
After some traffic and another six hours of driving, I finally arrive in Mystic Falls. Once I get to the town, I see Katherine leaning on the sign. I go and park my car right on the side of the road, and get out.
"Took you long enough." Katherine states, throwing the cure to me and I catch it.
"You don't want to keep it?" I ask, and she shrugs her shoulder. "Is this all?"
"Apparently, there is only one cure." Katherine explained, and I looked at her in shock.
"Interesting." I say analyzing it. I then take out the bottle I made and compare the difference. "Did they see the cure?"
"Not that I'm aware of."
"Good." I state, handing back the cure and the copy to Katherine.
"Really?" Katherine asks confused.
"Like I said before, I couldn't care less what you do with it." I state.
"Even shove it down Klaus's throat?" Katherine asks.
"You really believe I would let you do that?" I questioned and she nodded no, knowingly. "If they ever find you, there's your fake."
Katherine nodded, looking at the two bottles. "So, what are you going to do now? I mean I have the cure and killed Jeremy, so most of your problems are solved."
"No, if you have the cure, it also means Silas is out. And I'm still not finished with Elena." I explain.
"Well, I wish you good luck. Until next time Kalle." Katherine states, before she vamps speeds away. I get back into my car, and start driving to Elena's house.
Once I arrive, I see Damon's car outside. I get out of my car, to see Caroline, Stefan, and Damon through the window. I'm assuming Elena is upstairs. Was not necessarily counting on Caroline to be here, but she won't change anything.
I get the stakes and water guns and place them in my bag. I put my bag on, and get out of the car. The last time I walked up these steps...something broke inside of me. Now, something will break inside of them.
I knock on the door and wait for someone to answer. I then hear footsteps coming towards the door, and Damon opens it.
"Hello." I say with a little wave, and I can see the terror in Damon's face. "Motus."
Damon goes flying across the room, and falls on top of the kitchen table. Stefan and Caroline see and both charge at me. I stop them and raise them both in the air. I hold onto their breaths and watch as they choke, before I throw them as well.
"What's going on—" Elena says, coming down the stairs, before she sees me and gets startled.
"Well, if it isn't our guest of honor." I say sarcastically. I reach into my bag to get a stake, but Damon comes charging at me again and pins me down.
"Put it down." Damon demands and I give him a small aneurysm, until he drops to his knees. I then look back at Elena, but she is gone.
"Don't be scared, Elena. I'm not here to kill you." I state and can sense her coming up behind me with a stake.
I stopped her before she had a chance to, and threw her into the living room, with Stefan and Caroline.
I grabbed the stake that she had dropped on the floor, and looked at the vampires in front of me.
"Oh come on! You killed an original for god's sake. You gotta do better than that!" I state, as they all slowly start to get up. "Come on. I would figured you'd have more anger built up after I sent Katherine to go take the cure, and I guess kill your brother."
I then saw Elena's eyes turn from fear to anger. Everyone else seemed surprised.
"You sent Katherine?" Stefan asks.
"Guilty." I place my hands up. "I didn't tell her to kill Jeremy, but I'm so glad she did."
Elena then goes charging at me again, but I gain control and give them all a big aneurysm. I crack Elena's bones just for sport, and watch as they all scream in pain. Then when I feel that they have had enough, I snap each one of their necks.
Now, it's time to have some real fun.
