The feel of chapped lips and the sensation of facial hair tickling her skin roused Lily from a deep restful sleep. It took a moment for her drowsy brain to fully comprehend the strange sensation and to recognize just who was providing the stimuli.

His lips slid across her shoulder pressing against the strap of the cami she'd worn to bed the night before. The sensation drew a soft moan from her she caught between slumber and desire, the feeling making her feel dizzy.

She opened her eyes frowning as she realized the room was dim, only the soft glow of the lamp on his dresser providing light.

She turned her head as she became more aware a soft groan leaving her at the glowing red numbers on the alarm clock positioned on the bedside table; 5 a.m. "Filip, too early."

She was met with a snicker against her shoulder, the sound vibrating against her skin as he seemingly refused to move his lips from her skin.

Chibs relented, pulling away just far enough to speak. "Sorry m'love. Mos' likely gonna 'ave an early mornin' chapel. Gotta get it in while we can."

She furrowed her brow, it taking her drowsy brain to realize exactly what he meant by it.

Of course he wouldn't forget her promise of oral the night before. She was quite sure he could have endured a horrific memory damaging head injury in his sleep and he still wouldn't have forgotten a promise of sex.

She turned her head from the clock allowing his lips to meet hers relieved he didn't seem to be turned off by the possibility of morning breath. She allowed his lips to run across hers lazily; it obvious he intended for the morning quickie to not be entirely too quick.

She allowed his lips to pull from hers, running them down her cheek sliding slowly along her neck.

It was easy to get lost in the sensations as he nipped and sucked at her skin, his tongue and lips soothing the harsher bites. He nuzzled the nape of her neck, the action playful making her giggle the moment feeling light and playful.

It was such a relief after yesterday. The day before had been awful but the stressors of it were too far to grasp at the moment.

She spoke a small laugh leaving her lips as his hands slid up her sides pulling her cami up as he continued to move down her body. "I thought I was the one going down on you, not the other way around.

He spoke his breath hot against her heated skin. "I'm a gentleman, love. Gotta return the favor."

She parted her lips to respond that she considered it to be more of an act of love than a favor, but lost her train of thought as his hands pressed over her breasts massaging them, his lips returning to her skin.

She moaned her head falling back, his callused hands against the delicate skin of her breasts maddening in the best way possible. His hands were rough from working in the garage at TM Auto but his touch could be so delicate.

It was almost funny for someone who appeared to be so rough and dangerous and could in fact be quite vicious when he needed to be, his touch when it came to her was so sweet and adoring.

It really did fit him. He had the ability to be dangerous just as all the Sons did. He was capable of damage and was all too willing to admit it when he needed to. However he had a loyal heart that loved fiercely. He loved hard. He loved her. Somehow she was just lucky enough to have a place in that loyal heart of his.

Past boyfriends had not been entirely as enthusiastic about breast play as Chibs Telford. It was clear that Chibs didn't skimp on any attention paid to her breasts nor any other part of her body for that matter.

The cami was quickly tossed across the room and forgotten, the act forcing him to pull his hands from her breasts. He didn't have time to mourn the loss he groaning at the sight of her bare breasts. He couldn't stop himself from pressing his lips over a breast suckling at the skin.

Lily whimpered in response, her hands running through his hair messing it. He paid adequate attention to both breasts suckling and nibbling at the skin paying extra attention to the hardening buds of her nipples.

He reluctantly pulled from them as she placed a hand at his shoulder gently pushing him back to rest against the bedsheets.

She pressed her lips to his sliding them down his throat relieved he'd slept only in boxers the night before meaning she had no other clothing to worry about shedding her pursuit.

She pressed her lips down his chest and along his torso, her voice soft recalling his earlier comment suddenly remembering her reply. "I don't consider it a favor, Filip. It's more of a passion for me."

He groaned as she placed her fingers underneath the waistband of his boxers sliding them down his legs, helping her through the process.

The undergarments were tossed over the edge of the bed, Lily avoiding the destination he'd hoped for entirely instead pressing to his thighs. Her lips were soft and teasing against his skin, Chibs' head falling back a frustrated whine leaving him.

The kisses to his skin were soft and loving. He was certain no one had ever kissed him with such care especially during the current activity they were engaged in.

He moaned her name, his voice raspy and low both from pleasure and his own drowsiness.

She continued her soft kisses against his thighs, her movements slow and gentle.

She was the only woman who could possibly get away with teasing him like this. His past experiences with receiving oral from his conquests at the clubhouse had been hurried and straight to the point.

He knew though that this was no clubhouse conquest. This was his ol' lady showing him love after an awful day before. It was a quiet moment of reassurance for the both of them. It was a moment to soak up affection and lust before they were once again forced to face their current reality.

With Lily, lazy morning sessions like this were a slow leisurely buildup to the main event. He found himself unable to do anything but lie back and enjoy the sensations. The tease was hell, but the end result was the closest thing he was sure he'd ever experience to heaven on earth.

He moaned as her lips ran up his thighs pressing to his hips, taking her time to slide them along his pelvis avoiding the hardened flesh eagerly standing at attention.

He twisted the bedsheets in his hands, not even tempted to press a hand to the back of her head and push her along to give him exactly what he wanted.

Chibs groaned as her lips finally pressed against the underside of his aching cock the touch still so light and teasing. It was just enough stimulation to make his toes curl but not nearly enough to bring him the full pleasure he desired.

He whined as she ran her lips up his hard shaft pressing them to the tip. She ran her tongue delicately along the slit, pre cum dripping from him coating her tongue.

He grunted twisting the sheets tighter, his eyes locking on her mesmerized as he ran her lips down the otherside of his cock the touch still so light.

He spoke not above begging her, though she would be the only one on this planet to ever hear him beg. "Please m'lass. Yer fuckin' killin' me ere."

She giggled against his skin the knowledge that she was enjoying toying with him making his cock throb. He had to love it when she occasionally took a dominant role in the bedroom. He was absolutely not the type to submit, but he could admit that it did feel nice to relieve some control with her. It was a nice escape when he had to be the one who seeped dominance in his daily life.

He moaned, his head falling back as she finally took mercy on him wrapping her lips around his shaft slowly bobbing her head.

He spoke, his accent somehow growing all the thicker. "Oh, love, that's fuckin' it, Jus' like that. Fuckin' take it. That's m'love, knows jus' what I like, knows how ta make er man feel so fuckin' good."

He dared to gaze down at her, a deep groan leaving him as he stared down at her making eye contact with her. He was caught between gazing into her eyes and being mesmerized by the sight of his hardened shaft sliding between her parted lips.

She used her hand to stroke what she couldn't quite take just yet bobbing her head with more enthusiasm, the action working praise from Chibs' lips. "Ya take it so fuckin' good. Shite, m'love."

She moaned, the sensation vibrating around his cock as she didn't let up on her treatment of him.

He whined as she finally worked him down as far as she could, he hitting the back of her throat, the action causing his eyes to practically roll in the back of his head, a cry of her name leaving his lips.

He wasn't entirely sure anyone else had ever blown him so enthusiastically

The longer she worked him the more vocal he found himself becoming groans of her name and low profanities leaving his lips.

He groaned his throbbing balls reminding him that all good things had to meet an inevitable end.

He grunted debating his impending end and just how he wanted to find release.

Lily was taken by shock as Chibs apparently came to a decision, a hand pressing to her shoulder gently pushing her back his cock leaving her lips. He whimpered at the cool air against his shaft.

He didn't have long to focus on the change in sensation, he less than gently pulling Lily up his lips meeting hers in a bruising hot kiss. He pulled from her not caring if he could partially taste himself on her tongue. "It's a passion fer me too lass."

She giggled as he pushed her over on her back, pressing his lips eagerly down her body fully ready to prove his words and return the treatment she'd just given him.

She laid back taking in the sensation knowing this was well worth the early morning wake up call.

Lily felt her stomach churn as she stood in the tiny kitchen at the clubhouse having pulled herself from Chibs' bed after catching the few hours of sleep she'd lost out on with Chibs waking her for their early morning activities.

She heard his voice behind her, the sound feeling her with a sense of anxiety after their last interaction just the day before. "Lil, can I talk to you kid?"

She turned to face the club president and her godfather Clay Morrow. She tried not to allow her brain to hyperfocus on the way he'd barked orders at her the day before and the small argument they'd had over her proposed visit to the police station.

Tensions had been running high, she reminded herself. There was no need to take any harshness personally.

"Of course, what's on your mind?" She asked, playing it cool as she poured probably too much creamer into her cup.

"I just want to talk about yesterday morning, kid." Clay replied the comment was too cryptic for her to know if she was about to be praised or scolded.

She spoke, deciding to play her cards right and once again express regret over the incident two months prior. "I know I lost my cool a while back with Agent Stahl. I'm sorry, I know I could have gotten myself and even possibly the club into deep shit had I caught a charge for assault of a federal officer. I shouldn't have let her goad me into a reaction."

She was surprised as Clay waved his hand at her as though he was swatting the explanation away. "You have nothing to apologize for. The ATF bitch had it coming from what I heard about everything that happened in that interrogation. I can't get mad at you for fighting back. You were taught to fight back and stand up for yourself. You kept your lips sealed when she was pressing you. That's the important part. You're right though. You were lucky it didn't bite you in the ass. There would be only so much Rosen could do for us to get you out of it if you'd gotten an assault charge especially against a Fed. This isn't about that though."

He spoke again before she had a chance to press the issue. "You did good yesterday Lil. You were willing to help out the club and your family. You're right the club is family and we help our own. I'm proud of you kid."

Lily felt a wave of relief wash over her, thankful that she'd not been ready to receive another verbal lashing from her godfather.

She'd found that Clay was quick to anger especially when one did something stupid that could jeopardize the club. Although she loved the man as he'd always been so willing to take on a parental role with her, she couldn't help but to find that he could be intimidating and had learned you didn't want to be at the receiving end of his wrath.

She spoke as he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Thank you."

She let out a breath she'd not realized she was holding as he turned to leave, Clay knowing that the praise worked in his favor.

Keeping Unser's daughter in her place as SAMCRO's princess was always a good move.

Though Gemma's love for Lilian Unser was genuine, Clay knew that it could also be quite useful.

Unser's little girl being an ol' lady kept the old sheriff in line. Clay knew that he needed every pawn on the board to be right where he wanted them.

Lily didn't have much time to focus on the exchange as she heard commotion outside of the kitchen area out in the main area of the clubhouse.

She placed her coffee down on the cabinet exited the kitchen relief washing over at the sight. Opie Winson was here.

Opie's arrival to the clubhouse was met with enthusiasm and an explanation of exactly what had happened with Stahl.

To Lily it had been a relief. Of course, she knew she would not be in the chapel to hear his full explanation as club discussions did not require the presence of an ol' lady.

Lily was smart enough to see Opie's arrival and to realize just what it meant. If he'd been ratting on the club and taking some offer of witness protection from the Feds he wouldn't be here at the clubhouse now.

He wasn't a rat. A rat would be long gone now.

She didn't have long to focus on Opie's presence though Chibs' lips pressing to her cheek his voice upbeat he clearly just as relieved to realize what Opie's presence meant. "See ya later tonigh' love, at Abel's homecomin."

She smiled knowing she had to leave soon to make it over to Jax's house to help set up for the big homecoming party Gemma had planned for Abel Teller's release from the hospital.

It was a big deal and Lily was expected to be there to help with all the party preparation.

She spoke her lips pressing to his only briefly. "See you tonight. Love you."

"Love ya too." He replied before his attentions were pulled back to Opie's arrival and an impending expectation to start up the early morning SAMCRO meeting in the chapel.

Lily sighed, glancing back at the kitchen knowing she'd have to finish her coffee quickly. She couldn't leave the Queen of SAMCRO waiting.

The sight of Wendy standing in the Teller home helping Gemma with decorations had not been a sight Lily had expected.

She bit her tongue resisting the urge to mouth off knowing Wendy wouldn't be here if Gemma wasn't allowing it.

Even if it was Jax's home, Lily was smart enough to know Gemma would gleefully remove Wendy despite what Jax had to say even if Jax had previously allowed it.

She remembered her conversation with Gemma the day before at Saint Thomas Hospital. Gemma was using Wendy hoping it would push Tara Knowles out of the picture.

Lily had to wonder if Wendy realized she was a pawn in Gemma's game. Judging by the tension in the home when Lily entered it, Lily had a feeling Wendy had figured it out by now.

It didn't seem Wendy was offended enough to leave though. Lily had to wonder if Wendy was just desperate for the chance to be in Abel's life or if she truly was holding out hope on winning back Jax.

Lily had quickly made the decision that she should stay out of it. It seemed that her godmother had all the meddling covered.

Although Lily might have a few opinions on Jax's choices in romantic partners she was unwilling to interfere on quite the same level Gemma was. Lily might voice her opinion but she wasn't going to intrude on his lovelife.

She instead kept her focus on hanging streamers and blowing up balloons in between assisting Gemma in the kitchen with the almost comically large brisket she'd purchased. It was definitely big enough to feed all the invitees and if it wasn't enough the booze would suffice as an alternative.

There was no welcome home party like a Sons party, even if that party was technically a welcome home for an infant.

Lily cringed trying to focus on cutting potatoes for potato salad as Wendy approached her, the woman looking hesitant to be having this conversation with someone holding a sharp knife especially when that someone was playfully often referred to as a baby Gemma. "I know we haven't really had much of a chance to talk, Lily."

"We haven't." Lily remarked knowing she'd not really ever gotten the opportunity to get to know Wendy Teller or was it now Wendy Case? She was almost certain the divorce hadn't yet been sorted out.

Jax and Wendy had eloped in a whirlwind down at city hall. It had been a shock to pretty much everyone but it seemed that Jax was happy.

Previous interactions with Wendy had been quite brief. Lily could admit she'd never gotten a great vibe off of Wendy. She was uncertain if it was just that she didn't trust the women her big brother went for given the mess of heartbreak he'd gone though with Tara, or if it was just that there was something about Wendy that struck her as untrustworthy.

Wendy bit back a smart response to the comment she felt wounded after her previous intense conversation with Gemma. She wasn't sure Lily would be any less harsh. "I know I screwed up Lily."

"That's the understatement of the year." Lily spat back, unable to keep the venom from her voice.

Wendy cringed at the response. She shifted in place quick to reply. "I deserve that…I'm not making any promises that I'm stopping forever this time. I'm taking it one day at a time. All I can do is try to prove myself…try to show how sorry I am."

Lily slammed the knife down harder than she should as she chopped into a potato. "I'm not exactly the person you should be apologizing to at the moment. I think Abel is the one who really deserves the amends."

"I know, I'm trying." Wendy replied her words holding a hit of harshness, her defenses going up given this was the third intense conversation she'd had to have with the women in Jax Teller's life.

First there had been her run in with Tara where the good doctor had seemed to not exactly completely deny that she'd been warming Jax's bed in Wendy's absence and then there had been the entire conversation about Gemma's less than pure intentions with Gemma.

It seemed that Lily was just as ready to sooner backhand Wendy than listen to any attempts to listen to Wendy's intentions to attempt redemption.

"There's no trying Wendy. You're either sorting your shit out or you're not. I think you've run out of tries by this point. I'm not going to even begin to understand what your future looks like here. I don't know what Jax intends for your place in Abel's life. I do know that it's going to take way more than some 12 step program amends and empty statements about taking it by the day for you to even begin to undo what's been done." Lily snapped, unable to hold it in.

She didn't give a damn what game Gemma was playing by allowing Wendy here, but she wasn't in on the plan and she didn't care to mince words when it came to how she genuinely felt.

A small part of her had to wonder if this was her own mommy issues playing into her reaction. No her mother hadn't been a junkie, as far as she'd known but she'd still chosen something over her child.

Wendy had chosen a fix over Abel and Lily's mother had chosen freedom over her.

She bit back the knowledge that her own traumas were coloring her reactions to Wendy. She did not have the patience to do that much self-reflection after the past few months of seeing Abel in an incubator.

Wendy parted her lips to reply but didn't have a chance as there was a knock at the door frame. Lily turned to face Gemma fully expecting her godmother to have overheard everything she'd just said and to be annoyed that her hard work was being met with a roadblock.

It seemed that perhaps Gemma hadn't overheard Lily or had and was capable of hiding any annoyance. "Lil, your father is out front."

Lily groaned at the knowledge. "Great, just wonderful."

She slammed the knife down making her way to the sink and cleaning her hands.

She spoke drying her hands heading to leave the room, the words leaving her sarcasm clear on her tongue, her mood still sour. "I'm sure this conversation won't piss me off at all."

—-

Lily shifted uncomfortably in place as she sat on the front porch beside her father. She was certain she occasionally spotted the curtains slide to the side from her peripheral vision hinting Gemma was checking in on things unable to stay out of it.

Lily ignored the knowledge that this most likely was not a private conversation. "So, you in the clear with the ATF?"

"Not entirely. For now though, I'm out of my own damn jail cell." Unser remarked a hint of bitterness present in his voice at the fact that the ATF was very much still invading his station.

Lily stared across the yard pretending to be focused on the quiet neighborhood and the peaceful energy it held.

Conversations like this with her father always felt like this, awkward and drawn out neither sure how to or at the very least unwilling to directly address whatever it was that needed to be discussed.

It seemed the Unsers were professionals at dancing around uncomfortable subjects.

Unser spoke, rubbing the back of his head he not having much hair left on top of it anymore to really fuss with. "You started back up working for Cara Cara again?"

Lily rolled her eyes at the question. "Not yet, I imagine you're not disappointed with my lack of work at the moment."

Unser let out a huff not missing the defensiveness in his daughter's voice. "I can't say I'm not…You're promises it's just modeling and you assisting Luann with photos and playing personal assistant don't help me sleep at night."

"I promise I have zero intentions of taking part in any gangbangs for pay, no video work, it's in my contract. I know you don't think I'm capable of making smart choices but I'm smart enough to just stick to modeling and behind the scenes work." Lily snapped knowing it was immature but she had to make Wayne Unser squirm.

"Jesus Christ, Lilian." Unser remarked an exasperated groan leaving him not thrilled with her ability to be crude when she needed to be.

He spoke again picking up on the second part of her statement. "I do think you're capable of making smart choices…you just refuse to make the best choices most of the time."

Lily let out a huff shaking her head fast to say it. "Is this what you came here to do? I can just wrap up the entire conversation on my side if it is. I'm a shit daughter who makes awful choices. I'm ruining my life by shaking up with Chibs and working for Luann. You don't understand why I don't just marry some nice straight-laced guy who conforms and become something normal like a schoolteacher. I continuously embarrass you. You're not mad, you're just disappointed. There, did I cover it all?"

Unser shook his head a huff leaving him his voice picking up on the same defensive tone Lily had used. "I'm not saying any of that. You are not a shit daughter. I don't understand your choices or like them but that doesn't make me love you any less."

He paused, spotting that his statement did lessen some of the tension in her shoulders. He cleared his throat speaking again. "I just worry. I'm your father. I'm supposed to worry."

"You don't have anything to worry about." Lily remarked her voice softening somewhat as she twisted the ring she wore on her index finger a mixture of emotions feeling her gut; frustration, love for her father despite his faults, and a sense of exhaustion and anxiety for always seemingly having the same talks with him.

Unser shook his head nodding down at the crow inked into his daughter's upper arm. "I think I have a lot to worry about given that."

She sighed, swallowing the lump in her throat. "There's nothing you can say that's going to change how I feel. Filip is here to stay."

Unser cringed at the use of Chibs' real name. Lily spoke again fast to say it. "He's good to me. Isn't that the best thing a father could hope for, someone who is good to their daughter?"

Unser shook his head, a scoff leaving his lips. "He's a criminal Lily".

"And you associated with the same criminals he's associated with my entire life, probably even before I was part of your life. Being upset I associate with them too is hypocritical on your part. I'm not just doing this as some sort of weird delayed teenage rebellion. I'm a grown woman and I know what I'm getting into." Lily replied not missing the chance to point out the obvious.

Sheriff Unser didn't exactly have the background to preach that she should steer clear of Charming's criminal element when he'd very much been involved and benefited from that very element for decades now.

"Do you know what you're getting into though, with him?" Unser was eager to reply pressing the issue.

Lily sighed, daring to glance up at her father. "Does anyone know what they're getting into with anyone? Life is full of uncertainties."

Unser gritted his jaw unamused with the attempt to not address the danger that so clearly surrounded SAMCRO and being tied to them at this level. "What about when bullets start flying or Scotty gets himself locked up? Do you really want to tie yourself to a life of bullets and court dates?"

"I mean you spent a good part of yesterday in a jail cell, dad." Lily remarked not missing the unamused glare her father sent her.

She spoke again addressing the question. "Like I said, life is full of uncertainties. I'm well aware of what I'm agreeing to when it comes to being with Filip."

She paused, daring to reach out and take her father's hand. "I feel like we keep going back to this same conversation. My stance hasn't changed though, Daddy. I love him and he loves me. I know you'd rather have me with just about any other guy on the planet, but I can't tell my heart how to love."

She gave his hand a squeeze trying to make him understand. "Him loving me needs to be enough for you. It's enough for me. No matter what happens, no matter what the future holds, Filip loves me. That makes it worth it."

Unser shook his head wanting to argue that love might not be enough.

He let out a huff unable to stop himself from asking the words slipping from his lips before he could stop them. "This isn't some kind of you working out daddy issues thing is it?"

"Jesus, Dad, no." Lily exclaimed, taking her hand from his shaking her head a look of disgust on her features.

Unser was fast to reply. "I have to ask…I know I was not the best dad. We have our issues. Chibs is older than you, around what, 45? You're in your twenties. He could be your father."

"If he had me at like eighteen or nineteen." Lily was quick to respond knowing teenage parents were a thing but the concept of her seeing Chibs as some blend of lover and paternal figure made her stomach turn in on itself.

She grimaced more than a little disturbed by the drift in this conversation. "Trust me this isn't me acting out some weird need for a daddy-figure."

"I just had to ask. "Unser remarked clearing his throat realizing he'd made an otherwise serious heart-to-heart with his daughter painfully uncomfortable,

He cleared his throat again speaking after what seemed like a painfully long awkward silence. "I know you think you know what you're in for Lil, but all I can see is danger."

"I know what you think you see. I see belonging though. I know I'm where I need to be. I know if it was up to you I'd probably be back up in Seattle far away from SAMCRO, but I didn't belong there. I was just pretending. This is the only place I feel at home. Charming…the club…Filip is my home. Let me be at peace with my home. If you love me, try to accept that I'm willing to take on whatever the future holds because I'm home." Lily explained deciding that she would have to spill her heart somewhat. There seemed no other way of making him understand.

"I know kiddo…I know Gemma…the guys gave you a home when I couldn't. I guess I always hoped it would be something…I don't know, something you wouldn't need one day. I don't like this at all. All I see is the possibility of this hurting you." Unser explained his eyes staring over at the crow inked into her skin again he was unable to look away from it.

He shook his head, hating to admit it. "I know you though. You're stubborn. I can tell you what I think but I know you're going to do what you want."

"I will". Lily agreed, giving her father's hand a squeeze pushing the question he'd asked her the last time she'd had her hand in his from her mind.

She spoke again. "You see danger, I see life. I think we'll have to agree to disagree."

"I guess so." Unser remarked not entirely satisfied with the outcome of this conversation.

He couldn't shake the dreadful sense that his daughter had a future filled with heartache and hurt.

Lily might claim she could see life but all Wayne Unser saw was a life filled with danger.

—-

Lily sat cuddled close to Chibs' side on a sofa at Jax's house, his arm wrapped around her. The welcome home party was in full-swing and Abel was being given a wonderful homecoming.

She smiled as Chibs pressed a kiss to her temple; the feeling in the Teller home was one of lighthearted joy. This was exactly what everyone needed especially after these past few months with all the tensions surrounding the ATF.

She had been pleasantly surprised to see the Winston family in attendance including Donna Winston.

She had no clue what entirely had happened with the ATF, but it seemed that it had helped Donna finally get the push towards becoming more involved with club life.

She was somewhat surprised as Gemma placed Abel Teller into her arms she carefully cradling the infant. Gemma speaking. "He needs some aunt time."

"I thought tonight would just be grandma time." Lily remarked knowing Gemma hadn't really placed Abel into anyone else's arms but Jax's tonight."

"Plenty of time for that later." Gemma was fast to remark.

Lily gently rocked Abel in her arms knowing enough about babies to know they found a gentle bounce and slight rock to be soothing. She glanced over at Chibs surprised to see he was studying her with an unfamiliar look on his face. She spotted the adoration but there was something else there she couldn't quite place.

She spoke, deciding not to address it. "He's beautiful isn't it?"

Chibs nodded down at Abel Teller nodding his head, a genuine smile crossing his features. "Aye, gorgeous. Jus' perfect."

Neither noticed the way Gemma studied the interaction; they both too focused on their nephew to pay any attention to whatever test Gemma seemed to be conducting on them.

Lily widened her eyes, shocked as Tara stormed from the house, a frustrated Jax following her. She rolled her eyes, having to wonder what had happened there.

She'd not been pleased that Tara was joining the party but guessed after all she'd done for Abel that she'd tolerate it. She'd not missed the awkward triangle between Jax, Tara, and Wendy though. You'd have to be blind or dumb to miss that disaster.

She glanced at Gemma, not surprised to see that she seemed pleased. She glanced over at Wendy, unable to read the expression on the woman's face.

Jax sighed speaking to Juice. "Make sure Tara gets home."

Juice frowned, confused by the request but nodded his head all the same. "Yeah, no problem."

Lily and Chibs exchanged a small look but said nothing about the entire exchange.

They didn't have long to focus on it as Donna and Opie approached Jax explaining that the Winstons were leaving.

Lily willingly allowed Gemma to repossess her grandson, Lily returning to Chibs' embrace only for a brief moment.

She stood up as Opie and Donna approached her. She hugged both speaking to Donna as it was her turn. "I'm happy you came tonight."

"Me too. This was nice." Donna replied, surprising Lily by the genuineness behind the statement.

This was a turn, this was a world away from Donna who'd been so angry at the club.

She had to hope that it was a turn to maybe becoming close to Donna much like she'd been growing up.

She didn't have long to be up out of her seat after Donna and Opie left Chibs grabbing her hand gently pulling her back down beside him.

She settled against his arms, a teasing tone to her voice. "Better?"

"Aye, much better m'love Couldn't be happier." Chibs remarked, taking a sip of his beer, his free arm wrapping around her waist squeezing her against him.

She settled down against him having to admit it. She couldn't be happier at this moment as well.

Little did she know the happiness she felt would soon fade so suddenly within the hour.
