With Sakura

Sakura:Kakashi sensei?

Kakashi: hm?

Kakashi hummed without even looking away from his book, Sakura was resting after being again defeated by Sasuke stick up his ass Uchiha*

Sakura:you fought with N right?

Kakashi: yes, it was on my last year as a Anbu captain

Sasuke stopped training and kept an ear out, Kakashi noticed this and put his book down*

Sakura:well, how good was he?

Kakashi:good enough to hold me and Itachi off until his reenforcement came

Sasuke:this N fought my brother?

Sasuke said not completely invested in the story, Kakashi looked at him and nodded*

Kakashi:more then once, I've seen him go full out and even defeated Itachi in combat

Sasuke eyes widen at the notion, the very idea of someone beating Itachi Uchiha in a fight*

Kakashi: only reason he had to retreat was because I attacked him from behind. Remember him screaming how I didn't have any honor

Sakura:so he's equal to you and Itachi?

Sakura said in shock of her roommate that's been doing the cooking and always has a gentle smile on his face, Kakashi placed his hand on his chin in though*

Kakashi:more me then Itachi but yes.

Sakura:what do you mean by that?

Sakura asked while Kakashi was a bit more out of it, he was having small flashbacks of the times he and N fought to kill the other*

Kakashi:that the last time we fought N and me were pretty much even power wise, but when he had to fight Itachi, he had to go beyond his limits to be on equal footing to him. Itachi truly is a once in a generation prodigy

Sasuke:tsk.

Sasuke clicked his tongue angry that his older brother again was getting all the praise, that's when in the back of his mind an idea started brewing. Kakashi took out his vest and shirt, he pointed at a certain place in his chest, both looked and there was a small line like scar*

Kakashi:that's line you see there? That's were he stabbed me in our last fight, it was glorious, both of us were tired, bloodied, and bruised, we both nodded at the other and prepared our final attack to decide the match And while he almost missed my heart, I landed my chidori on his lung winning the battle. We did end up losing the war but that's konoha's failure not mine

Kakashi had his trademark one eye smile seeing Sakura with her eyes wide finding something new of her sensei and new roommate, Sasuke on the other hand had other thoughts on his head*

Inside Kakashi's memory

It was pouring rain down on the battlefield hundreds dead on the ground no longer enemies but spirits going to the next life, and there stood Kakashi in his full anbu outfit, holding his ninjato. and Naruto in a full samurai armor outfit in one hand holding his spear and the other his nodachi*

a lightning strike hit between them as they stood there unmoving*

N: hound of yagura, all this bloodshed, all this destruction and for what? For an evil tyrant that refuses to step down from his power and harms the innocent civilians under his protection?!

N screamed at Kakashi, but Kakashi didn't respond, Naruto gave a low growl as he pointed his spear at Kakashi*

N:Shinobi scum look around you at this ruined land! Houses in ruined, civilians dead, childhoods forever scared, all for a tyrant that believes that being the strongest means ignoring the needs of those who can't protect themselves. Over a 1000 civilian lives were experimented and killed by the mizukage to strike horror into the hearts of his subject, to make sure he remains as there leader by force. So answer me hound of yagura, monster, demon, devil conceived by the bleakest womb! What say you now?!

Another lightning strike hit between them, when the light of the strike disappeared both combatants were already in a desperate struggle to overpower the other there blades stuck in a parry*

After team 8 finished there training, they all went there separate ways, kiba left to home scowling all the way, kurenai left for a date with her mystery man, Hinata was walking back to the apartment with Naruto and shino along with her*

Hinata:it's really no trouble, I can walk by myself

Naruto:it's no trouble, what kind of person would we be if we let you walk home by yourself? Chivalry only dies when we let it die, and I shan't let such an important thing die

Shino didn't say anything just gave a short nod, Hinata was saying thank you but Naruto was busy glancing around, he could see the way people looked at Hinata, some with pity, others with condescension, others looking at her as if she was less then.*

Naruto"hm, I want to ask about it. But we're still only strangers, unlike wave if nothing happens I can't get involved"

Naruto:so, are you going to be dining alone Hinata?

Naruto asked with a smile, he walked a little closer to her and shot a merchant a quick but furious glare that sent fear up his spine, shino noticed it but Hinata remained oblivious*

Hinata:Sakura should be there, so me and her can eat out today.

Shino:your both welcomed to my home to eat if you'll like

Shino said sending a few bugs to bite a man to stop his glares, Hinata eyes widen and he raised her hands nervously*

Hinata:o..oh I couldn't impose on your family like that

Shino:it's no imposition if I invite you, I've already invited N what's 2 more?

Shino said making sure Hinata kept her attention on him while Naruto "accidentally" made a man trip on mud without even realizing who did it*

Hinata:w..well if your sure, just...no cockroaches you know what happened last time Sakura saw one of them

Shino:I'm aware, N mind showing me the butterfly contract?

Shino asked with the tiniest molecule of hope behind his tone, but it was shot down when Naruto shook his head*

Naruto:I cannot, I do not have it in my possession. Once you have proven yourself to the butterflies, you sign the contract and they disappeared, moving there home somewhere else to not be found. Making impossible for a summonor to help someone else get it. The butterflies is a contract you have to earn on your own merits

Shino:so your implying that my grandfather didn't have enough merit?

Shino asked looking at him, Hinata and Naruto couldn't tell if he was angry, or just asking a normal question. Either way Naruto wasn't about to lie to him so he shrugged*

Naruto:if that's the conclusion you got from my words, who am I do correct you? As it stands the butterflies are the only contract that a Shinobi hasn't been able to get, now think on why that is and you'll know why you're grandfather failed

Naruto"hense why I almost died getting it, a creature with such integrity, such honor. I would be a fool to want anything else"

Naruto thought completely prideful, they soon made to the apartment complex and got inside, Naruto frowned deeply as a butterfly started flying around him*

Naruto said as he walked ahead of them, Hinata and shino looked at each other then back at Naruto and followed him. Naruto leaned against the doorframe softly as he looked at Sakura looking under his bed with her ejem, lower posterior raised to the air*

Naruto:you know...

Sakura flinched and hit her head against the bedframe causing Naruto to snicker slightly*

Naruto: a lesser man would give you a spanking in such a position. Sadly for me I'm not Mugen

Naruto said as he walked to her and lifted the bed to help Sakura out. Sakura for her part had an embarrassed blush on her face as she got out, she coughed and tried to regain some dignity*

Sakura:I uh,...

Naruto:you forgot something in this room before giving it to me didn't you?

Naruto said winking at Sakura, Sakura was confused until she saw Hinata and shino getting there, she coughed a little*

Sakura:y.. yes, but I couldn't find it, I uh...o think I must've misplaced it someplace else

Hinata:Oh, whatever it is I'll help you find it, anyways shino invited us to his home for dinner

The second Hinata said that Sakura paled having flashback of the last time she went to that hell hole, and when a cockroach touched her leg*

Sakura:I uh, I h..have plans with uh, with N! Yes I have plans with N so sorry!

Naruto:... Your absolutely right, I was thinking you could show me around, but what could be a greater sight then the home of the aburame clan?

Sakura paled as Naruto turned around and started walking away, since Sakura couldn't see his face she couldn't see the cheeky grin on Naruto's face, shino followed Naruto and Hinata placed her hand over her mouth and let a small giggle escape her lips*

Hinata:don't worry, shino promised no cockroaches this time

Sakura:...ok...

Sakura said with a depressed aura around her As the 4 of them walked to shino's home*
