It was the dark of night as Naruto was walking to Konoha, he was doing what he always does when he's walking alone*

singing songs from his country he glanced around for any place to rest his weary head. That is until he heard a girl screaming and immediately went in to action running to the source of the noise

In Konoha
Mizuki:mito please stay a moment
Mito nodded and watched as her friends and classmates all walked out of the room. Some of them with leaf protectors while others without and sadly for mito she was without one, she failed the Shinobi exam. Mizuki walked up to her offering her a kind smile*
Mizuki:mito Namikaze, you passed on every test the threw at you except one, you couldn't make a clone
Mito:I know, I...I don't know what to do. My mom is gonna be so disappointed, she was so exited too...
Mito said bawling her hands in to fist and looking down on the ground, she missed Mizuki's evil smirk growing on his face*
Mizuki:well, what if I told you there was still a way to become a Shinobi?
Mito looked up surprised, her once emotionally destroyed face now was filled with joy and hope*

Mizuki:you see my number 1 student, as your sensei I'm allowed to give a student of my choosing a, special test if you will. And mito namikaze I have chosen tou
Mizuki placed his hand on mito's back and gave her a encouraging smile, mito was getting exited she could always trust Mizuki, he always made sure mito was top in her class*
Mizuki:is simple, think of it as your first mission as a Shinobi. You simply must go in to the Hokage's office and take the shadow clone Jutsu scroll from it.
Mizuki got up and started walking back to his desk, he opened it and revealed a Konoha protector just for mito*
Mizuki:after that you'll have to run all the way outside of the village where I'll be waiting with your protector I hand. But this is a secret mission you can't tell anyone, if someone were to find you you'll fill the test, do you agree?
Mito:yes! Thank you so much Mizuki sensei! I promise I won't fail you!
Mito said in excitement as she left running home to start preparing, Mizuki hummed as he sat down and opened his desk again to see his protector, he picked it up and looked at it with a smile*
Smile:soon I'll be able to wear this again
Scene change
It was late at night, mito was inside the Hokage's office, she looked around and saw her father sleeping soundly using a pile of paperwork as a pillow. Mito gulped as she went into the secret library of the Hokage, she walked deeper into the location till she reached the forbidden scroll section. She touched the shadow clone scroll and almost screamed when it turned to smoke. The scroll disappeared and on the floor laid a note*

Mito"what the fuck am I supposed to do now?!"
Mito mentally screamed as she started to panic, not having much time mito just grabbed the first forbidden scroll she saw and left the scene, not knowing she grabbed a scroll much more dangerous then shadow clone*
Scene change
Mito turned a corner and pulled herself to the wall hearing to the Shinobi dash passed her, the whole village was on lockdown over what mito did. Mito waited till she couldn't sense the Shinobi anymore and left running to the entrance of Konoha, she escaped the walls of her village through the wall she konohamaru and there friends made long ago. Mito smiled brightly looking down at the scroll*
Mito"yes! I did it! I'm gonna be a shinobi now!"
mito thought extremely happy, naive but happy as she dashed to meet up point*
Mito:sensei! Sensei I'm here!!
Mito turned around just in time to see Mizuki land on his feet with the same smile he always wears*
Mizuki;sensei! I got it see!
Mizuki:i do see indeed, so you got me the shadow clone Jutsu, as we discussed?
Mizuki smiled started to disappear when he saw mito flinch*
Mito:w..well no, the scroll was already gone when I got there, Jiraiya took it in his travels. But! I still got a forbidden Jutsu and this one is just as good! See for yourself
Mizuki: hopefully your right, or else you can forget about being a Shinobi
Mizuki grabbed the scroll and opened it. His eyes widen as he almost dropped the scroll when he realized what he had in his hands, he started to shake as a small laugh was escaping his lips*
Mizuki:the Edo tensei...this is...this is good, this is very good indeed
Mizuki mumbled to himself as he took the leaf protector and tossed it to mito. Mito squealed exited, she quickly placed it on her own head proud of herself. Her eyes widen when she felt an immense pain on her stomach, she was send flying her back crashing hard against a tree taking the wind out of her body*
Mito:s.. sensei...why
Mizuki:just finishing off the mission Shinobi...
Mizuki took out his own protector and placed it on his head, mito's vision was blurry, but she could see the symbols as clear as day, it was the protector of Kumogakure*
Mizuki:you can't leave any witnesses, but have the consolation that your death will bring kumo one step closer to becoming the most powerful elemental nation
Mizuki took out a kunai and started walking towards her, mito wanted to run away but she couldn't, her own body was failing her thanks to a seal that Mizuki placed on the protector. Mito would die thanks to the obsession of wanting to become Shinobi like the rest of her family, mito gave out a scream hoping that Anbu were close enough to hear her cries. She closed her eyes tightly as Mizuki dashed at her, she heard the sound of metal against metal. Mito opened her eyes relief, that relief turned into surprised when in front of her wasn't an anbu*
Naruto in his new armor, had both hands on the hilt of his blade glaring at mizuki*
Mizuki:who the hell are you?
Naruto:the protector of those who can't protect themselves...
Naruto said without emotions as he pushed Mizuki back, Mizuki stumbled back and looked at the man in front of her protecting the only person who knows his cover*
Naruto:Shinobi scum, how dare you attack an innocent child. Come, face me, I shall not let you harm her as I live and breath
Mizuki;tsk your gonna wish you stayed out of my way
Mizuki flickered out of existence, Naruto closed his eyes and took a breath, he swapped his sword for his spear and stabbed it behind right right where Mizuki landed, mito felt blood fall on her as she looked up, the spear this stranger used pierced right through mizuki's stomach the blade was completely on the other side of the body. Mito felt heartbroken when she saw Mizuki was still trying to finish his mission and kill her*
Naruto:child hear my words, close your eyes. For you are too young to see the end of this man, I'll give you till the count of 3
Mizuki tried to use a jutsu to escape of attack mito, but it was useless not when Naruto's weapon was inside him, a weapon made of anti chakra metal that you can only get in iron country. Mito closed her eyes tightly when she heard the number 3, Naruto moved his blade up and slashed cutting the man up the middle, the sound was horrifying for mito but she didn't dare open her eyes, she heard the clanking of her saviors armor*
Naruto;child, I'm gonna pick you up and take you away from here. So that you don't have to see a dead body, is that already? Nod if it's alright
Naruto saw mito's small nod and he grabbed her gently, he took off her protector and threw it away, mito felt as if a weight was lifted from her shoulders having the seal out of her body*
Mito: please...the scroll
Mito said softly before passing out, Naruto looked at the large scroll on the floor. As Naruto was walking away from Konoha and Anbu to find a place to rest for the night, he couldn't help but look at the girl with red hair in his arms as he walked*
Naruto:a child so young with a protector...simply disgusting...
Naruto said as he despised the fact that all the elemental nations use children to fight there battles, unlike iron country ever since emperor Mifune came in to rule, he made it law that a samurai can't go out on missions outside iron country till the age of 21. Naruto was no exception do this rule, hense why he demoted himself to ronin rank till he becomes of age*
