Author note: so, for those who don't know which is probably everyone. I'm from Puerto Rico, fun fact we have one of the longest Christmas celebrations, and today is dia de los reyes, aka the celebration of the 3 wise men that visit the baby Jesus. We see the both of them walking, the gates of konoha were at view. Naruto looked at mito who looked even more nervous*
Naruto:where does your mother think you are?
Mito:oh God mom...I...I didn't tell her anything. I wanted to surprise her and now...
Naruto rubbed her back to make her feel better, they made it close enough to the gates and stopped*
Naruto:if she's a true mother she'll be angry yes. But most of all she'll be relief that your well and unharmed, relatively speaking. How's your stomach?
Mito:with a big bruise on it but I'll manage, I'm gonna go inside through the hole I came from. I'll see you on the other side
Naruto nodded and walked forward the gates seeing two Shinobi there, Naruto frowned as they were just sleeping at the job*
Naruto "is this the kind of quality to expect from Shinobi?"
Naruto thought as he knocked firmly on the desk making them both wake up in a jump*
Izumo:we weren't sleeping on the job!
Naruto:i highly doubt that
Naruto said with a slight tone of disgust in his voice, Naruto crossed his eyes and waited for them to get there pairings in order*
Kotetsu:sorry about that, uh oh yeah. Welcome to Konoha please state your name, village of origin and reason and how long is your visit
Naruto: I'm an orphan, the only thing I know of my name is the letter N, do my name is N. I'm from the iron country
Naruto saw the both of them getting awake now, they looked Naruto up and down noticing the sword on his hip*
Izumo:I see, man. Your the first iron country resident we've ever seen
Kotetsu:well apart from that old guy, the leader of yours. Man you guys should really consider making him retire or something
Kotetsu said laughing, izumo joined in the laughter. They meant no disrespect, but for Naruto he had to control his anger*
Naruto"how dare them disrespect the emperor! I should take there heads for such insolence"
Naruto thought angrily as his hand twitched to his blade, but he controlled himself and kept a neutral expression*
Naruto:I'm here for vacation and shall be staying here for a couple of months
Izumo:alright, just need your signature in a few papers, you'll be given a visitation pass that you must keep with you at all times, it'll tell the Uchiha police that your just here on vacation. But if I were you I wouldn't use that sword of yours, might get you in trouble
Naruto: I'll...keep that in mind, so where do I need to sign?
Naruto spend the next 5 minutes singing N on different paperwork's, after that was done he took the visitation pass and walked inside*
Scene change
Mito:oh darn, I forgot to tell him where the hole actually is. Argh now I'll have to walk to the gates
Naruto:that won't be necessary
Mito:ah!!!
Mito screamed, Naruto raised his eyebrow seeing a chain come out of mito's back, mito took a breath to calm down while the chain disappeared*
Naruto:as cute as that chain was, shall we keep going? The more you delay it the worse it'll be for you.
Mito:y..yes, yes, yes, let's go. Just don't scare me like that, how did you even find me?
Naruto started walking with mito next to her, in truth Naruto was blessed with a gift, he could see the chakra inside a person, his grueling training in the academy to use his senses other then sight just made his already powerful ability almost unstoppable. Naruto just hummed and kept looking forward*
Naruto:hm, classified.
Mito:no fun, anyways what...what do you think I should say?
Naruto placed his hand on his chin and went into thought If someone from iron, did what mito did*
Inside Naruto's mind
We see a samurai version of mito on her knees in front of the emperor. The emperor looked at her with a cold fury*
Mifune:mito you are charged with the stealing of one of our precious relics how do you plea?
Mito:guilty you emperor
Mito grabbed the small tanto and placed on her stomach, she looked up at the emperor and waited for his verdict, with a wave of his hand, it was all mito needed as she stabbed herself in the belly with the tanto, slicing open her stomach and then turning the blade upwards to ensure a fatal wound.*
Back to the real world
Naruto:tell the truth, and accept whatever punishment she is to give you without complaints, but make sure to explain you were tricked, it doesn't justify your actions. But it does make them more understandable, since anyone would've trusted a teacher, they're there to teach us, we give our trust to them. And your teacher tricked you.
Mito: hopefully mom and dad will be lenient with me, I just wanted to be a shinobi like them...
Mito said sadly, Naruto had to bite his tongue as now was not the time for his samurai superiority. They kept walking and mito heard Naruto humming a song*
Mito:what are you singing?
Naruto:an old song miss Takeda used to sing to us when the small ones couldn't sleep at night
Naruto said and he kept humming, it was soft and sweet, it helped mito calm down at least a little. They kept walking until mito stopped on her tracks*
Mito:were here...I'm... I'm so scared
Naruto: fear is not real. It is a product of thoughts you create. So you do not misunderstand my words, danger is very real. But fear is a choice. Are you still gonna choose fear, or the unconditional love only a mother could give you?
Naruto had to fight not to show emotion in his tone. Mito sighed but nodded her head she walked up to the door with her heart pounding, she turned around to thank the man but he was already gone, in his place only a single butterfly, the butterfly flew to mito and rested itself on her shoulder. Mito took a breath and knocked on the door*
Before with Kushina
Kushina:what do you mean you can't find her?! Your the Hokage!!
Minato: kushina, i know your worried, Believe me, I am too. But we have more pressing matters to deal with, someone stole the edo tensei, that takes priority
Minato dodged a vase his wife threw and sighed, he was worried too for his youngest, but he had to put the needs of the village first*
Minato: Kushina, if someone like Orochimaru were to get his hands on the scroll it could be an absolute disaster. We must find it first, after that I promise I'll send out every anbu possible to find her
An Anbu appeared and whispered something to Minato, Minato nodded as the anbu disappeared*
Minato:I have to go, we'll find her soon I promise
Minato disappeared to follow where the anbu went. Kushina took a frustrated breath as she threw another vase to the wall to have an outlet for her anger*
Kushina:we already lost one child, and he's not worried about losing another?!
Kushina screamed as tears of frustration escaped her eyes, she wanted to look for her, but it was against the rules. She took a hot breath and just sat down on the couch putting her face in her hands*
Kushina:mom, if you can hear me, please let Mito be safe, please I can't handle loosing another child, not again...
Kushina said softly as her breathing became shaky. She composed herself when she heard a knock on the door, she got up and walked to the door. She opened it and her eyes widen at who it was*
Kushina:m...mito
Mito:m...mom...I..I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry mom!
Mito said breaking down hugging her mother, Kushina was confused but more then anything she was just relief to have her daughter safe in her hands*
Scene change
Naruto was watching the mother daughter duo from a distance, seeing mito's mother Naruto couldn't help but remember that dream*
"???:~~~~ ruto ~~~~~my son ~~~~~"
Naruto frowned and shook his head putting that dream out of his thoughts, he turned around and walked away*
Naruto:I'm blessed with so many loved ones, I have friends, smaller siblings, miss Takeda, my senseis, the emperor. Stop wanting for more, when what you have is more then enough
Naruto chastised himself, he kept walking making it to the markets, he looked around and made a note of places of interest, he placed his hand on his chin in thought*
Naruto:hm, before I do my research I'll need to find a place to stay, My best chances would be asking a Shinobi for assistance, as mich as it will pains me. If it means that I'll get more information of my clan's past then it's worth it
Naruto said talking with himself, he walked for a bit till he spotted a Shinobi just looking up at the sky, he walked up to him and noticed more features, the Shinobi had spiky white hair, his protector was covering one of his eyes, and he had a certain book in his left hand*
Naruto:excuse me can I have some assistance?
