(Day 9)

' "You should go kill yourself!" '

'It hurts'

' "Stop it! Don't kill him!" '

' "Siding with the demon?! Then you should die too!" '

'No'

'Help...someone help!'

'Why?'

'Blood...so much blood'

Lucryn's eyes snap open, lilac eyes showing a wild light as the youth is suddenly on his feet, hands clenching at his side as his eyes take in his surroundings. No one is around, the quiet of the woods is refreshing, helping him relax. 'Don't think on it...not now'

Taking in a breath, he slowly lets it out, his eyes noticing something he didn't see a moment ago. Blood red eyes with golden centers stare at him. Lucryn glances down at his right arm, seeing only fiery red swirls. The brown and deep purple swirls are gone. Eyes roving back up, he finds the shadowy creature that was about five feet in front of him is gone.

Scanning the woods around him, his senses are on high alert for anything that would give away the positioning of anyone around him. The woods are dark, the moon high up in the sky. It would be a few hours till daybreak. From afar he can hear some noises, the sounds of pokemon he assumes.

The woods surrounding Steven Stone's house are quieter. Not too many pokemon are around, but there's still some. Lucryn's left leg still stings from where a flower like pokemon had wrapped her leaves around him, the leaves digging in and leaving vicious scratches. That was only a few hours ago, the wounds still bleeding lightly, but he paid it no mind.

His posture loosens for only a moment, and then he's moving, ducking down, hands planting on the ground as his body rises, leg kicking out, solidly connecting with something and sending it flying. A ball of black energy flies by his head, solidly hitting into the thing he just sent flying. Landing lightly on his feet, Lucryn jumps, grasping a branch above him and swinging himself up. Crouching lightly on the branch, his eyes observe the small shadowy creature that has once more appeared near him.

On the ground, the thing he had kicked lay still. The shadowy creature gazes up at Lucryn, Lucryn giving the creature a wild smile, waiting to see what would come next. The creature's body sinks into the shadows, Lucryn going still, all senses straining to find the shadowy creature.

The faintest of ripples in a shadow beneath him on his left has him springing from the tree, landing right where the shadow had changed. Two blood red eyes observe him from the ground.

Lucryn gives the eyes a feral smile. His eyes are blank, causing a disharmony between his actions and his visage. The shadowy creature rises up, shadows curling around like smoke.

In the dark of night one could barely see the shadowy figure, but Lucryn's eyes seemed to pierce the darkness, staring straight into those blood red eyes.

"Marshadow!" The creature cries out, only its head out of the ground, inches from Lucryn's own. Lucryn's lips curl up, his eyes taking in everything. As if satisfied by what he sees within those blood red orbs he backs up, the shadowy creature fully rising from the ground. Lucryn reaches out, patting the creature's head, amused at how the shadows move under his touch, the creature didn't exactly have a corporal form, but the shadows gathered together can be touched, but with too much pressure they'd disperse. The shadows are cold to the touch, chilling Lucryn's fingers.

'Why you chose to be mine, I don't know. But you're mine now, so you can't leave me.' Lucryn thinks as he gazes into the blood red orbs. The shadowy creature lets out a quiet call before vanishing, once more sinking into the shadows. This time Lucryn doesn't attempt to find the creature, instead stalking over to the fallen creature he kicked.

The creature is small, about the size of his palm, looking like a spider. Light green fur coats the creature's body, its six legs a mix of yellow and black with a single horn on its forehead. Going through the few books he's read on the different types of pokemon, he recognizes this one as a Spinarak. A bug and poison type pokemon known as the string spit pokemon.

The shadowy pokemon appears next to Lucryn's crouched form, its eyes quietly observing him as he observes the smaller pokemon. 'It didn't use a string attack against me. Insufficient training?' Lucryn's eyes take in every aspect of the pokemon, his fingers gently touching it as he gets to know the build of this pokemon.

'I see, so it's a nutrition deficiency, this little one can't produce string due to a lack of nutrition.' Lucryn picks up the little one who's still out cold. The little one is still very poisonous, but that's only a danger for those who get bit. How the little one is now, Lucryn has no fear of being attacked. Lucryn moves to go back to Steven's home, when a smell reaches his nose.

Sweet and entrancing, it tickles his nose and he can feel a force pushing at his mind, prompting him to follow the scent. Lucryn makes no move to follow the scent, instead, turning and moving steadily back to Steven's home. 'Should be the move Sweet Smell'

"Marshadow '' The little shadowy creature softly says, vanishing once more into the shadows. Reaching the mansion of a house located near Fire Ridge Town, Lucryn yawns, revealing sharp canines. In his arms, Spinarak stirs lightly, but a moment later it's asleep, Lucryn's fingers pressing onto a pressure point on its neck.

Climbing a rather large tree, Lucryn jumps from its branches to the next tree, repeating the process until he's right at the side of the house, an open window a few feet away. With an agile leap, Lucryn lands silently in the room, eyes taking in every detail of the room. Seeing nothing was moved, his body relaxes, his eyes lowering to look at the small Spinarak. The creature slept peacefully in his arms, not showing any signs of waking up anytime soon. Placing the small creature on the bed his eyes move over to a shadow in the corner of the dark room. Two blood red eyes stare at him.

Lucryn gestures at the small spider creature, a silent order to watch over the creature. The blood red eyes blink, and then they're gone. Lucryn pays no more heed to the matter, wandering out of the room and down the stairs, moving as silently as a ghost. Slipping through the hallway into a large room on the first floor, he gazes around the kitchen with his lilac eyes.

Noting that no one is around, he enters, a bit jumpy due to the lack of windows and the only exit being the door he just came through. Moving into the pantry room, he takes in the rows of berries, all labeled, the room neat and tidy. Lucryn sniffs, taking in the different smells, sorting them in his mind to the best of his ability.

Yesterday he visited the kitchen at night with a book on the many types of berries and herbs used by people to make food for both pokemon and themselves. His memory and sense of smell helped him now as he barely needed to read the labels to know which berry or herb is which. Thinking to himself, multiple ideas form in his mind of how to mix the berries and herbs to acquire what he wants, but he holds off, taking a few minutes to carefully think about the properties of each berry and herb he's considering mixing together.

The list reshapes itself in his mind, as some berries and herbs will cancel each other out or weaken each other. Grasping an idea of a list in his mind, he's quick to act. Gathering the berries he wants, most being poisonous if consumed, he returns to the main area of the kitchen, heating a frying pan on the stove.

Dicing a few of the berries, he throws some oil onto the pan, listening to it sizzle as the pan warms.

Deciding it's warm enough, he throws a few diced berries onto the pan, watching them closely. His hands remain busy as he peels another berry, throwing the skin into the trash before dicing up the remainder of the berry and throwing it into the pan. Throwing in some chopped up herbs, he squeezes another berry, watching the juice darken as it contacts heat, the light purple deepening and bubbling.

Grabbing a spatula, he mixes everything together, his mind keeping track of time. He has no reference for how long to cook them, so he can only rely on his senses to decide when he should turn off the heat. The liquid in the pan begins hardening, becoming more like a cream. Grabbing the remaining berries, he chops them up into bigger squares, turning off the heat and throwing them in. Mixing everything slowly, the cream-like liquid coats the bigger berry chunks like a sauce, hardening as it cools until it's a soft exterior layer.

Grasping a container, he dumps in the pokefood he's made, observing the purplish squares with a lighter colored center. Sniffing them, he pulls one out, lightly biting it. A strong taste fills his mouth, sweet, resembling honey, but the center tastes fresh, a light and crisp taste. Closing his eyes, he tries to identify the berries and herbs through taste alone, recognizing some, others he would need more practice to identify.

Swallowing the small bite, he gets a cup of water, washing it down. Putting the lid on the container, he stretches, debating on making more. 'How much do pokemon eat?' The spider is rather small, this should last a few days, but he could be wrong.

Shrugging, he decides not to dwell on that for now. Cleaning up the area, he carefully places everything back where he found it, not leaving any trace of his presence. Returning to his room, he briefly sees blood red eyes flashing in the shadows. Casting a glance at the bed, he sees the spider-like creature is no longer there. His eyes flicker around the room, settling on the upper left corner. Beady black eyes stare at him from the ceiling, studying him. Lucryn makes a note in his mind that pokemon, or at least this Spinarak are a lot more durable than humans. He expected this little one to stay unconscious for at least two hours, he having spent only a little less than an hour in the kitchen.

Nothing in the room has been damaged, it seems the shadowy pokemon has done a good job. Opening the jar of pokefood, he places it on the ground nearer to the bed, jumping backwards to avoid a glob of purplish liquid. Seeing the way the wood blackens at the touch, he recognizes it as acid. He had yet to fully read through the poison type pokemon moves, but he can tell that move is a poison type move.

The shadowy creature fully emerges from the shadows in front of him, glaring at the small pokemon, letting out a threatening "shad!" that sounded more like a growl.

Lucryn reaches forward, patting the shadowy creature's head, backing away from the small creature's side of the room, settling himself in the corner. The shadowy creature sinks into the shadows, rising once more to be right in front of his slender form. Lucryn finds himself slightly surprised. 'This little one is rather protective.'

The night drags on, the two sides glaring at each other, Lucryn drowsily watching. Sitting in the corner, his one knee is drawn to his chest, his arm over it as his head rests against it, lilac eyes closed as he rests, his shadowy creature standing guard in front of him.

The spinarak glares harder at the two, trying not to be bothered by the sweet smell from whatever that pale human had placed down. As the night wore on, the little one's guard whittled away, the sweet smell driving it insane as its stomach painfully twisted. As the first rays of morning light entered the window, the little one moved, jumping down and heading for the source of the sweet smell.

Coming upon a container full of a purplish food that smells like heaven, Spinarak bites one, pulling it out, and running, climbing out the window and vanishing back into the woods.

The shadowy creature lets out a questioning sound as it stares into lilac eyes. It had intended to deter the small spider from leaving, but Lucryn had gently touched its shadowy form, distracting it. Those lilac eyes seemed lighter in the brightening room, as the sun shines in, coating the child's slender form in warm sunlight.

Lucryn pats the shadows head in an answer, amused as the shadow contorts under his touch. With a thought from Lucryn, a deep purplish-brown circular array appears under the creature. The array is similar to the two fire types, save the color and the slight changes in the writing. The center is almost completely empty save a golden symbol written in the lower area of the central ring. The outer ring had seven symbols etched over it, a few different colors present.

The shadowy creature fades away as it disappears into the summoning array. Lucryn walks over to the window, staring out into the woods, the sunlight making the woods appear peaceful and calm. Glancing down at his leg, he frowns a tad. The wound no longer bled, but his lower left pant leg is torn up and bloody.

Having explored the room, he's aware that the dresser is empty. Tiredly looking at his outfit, he sighs. 'How unfortunate'

Entering the bathroom, he turns on the shower, stripping swiftly and scrubbing off the blood and grime from his entire body. Feeling better, he sighs seeing the wound has reopened, blood dripping down his leg onto the bathroom floor. Rummaging through the bathroom drawers earlier he had found a first aid kit, so now he pulls it out, expertly bandaging his wound.

A white bandage goes from his left ankle up to just a bit below his knee, his pale skin and the blood over the floor makes him look pitiful and fragile. Cleaning up the blood, he debates on washing his clothes, but knows drying them will take forever. After a moment of debate, he washes them anyway, wringing them out before pulling them on. He'd rather get sick from wearing wet clothes than be covered in filth.

Glancing at himself in the mirror, he idly wonders if he should've dried his hair a bit better, the wet locks sticking to his forehead, water dripping down. Shrugging, he leaves the bathroom, stopping right outside the door, eyes flashing with warning as his body lowers, lips curling back as he glares at the intruder.

Lance raises his hands in surrender from where he leans against the doorframe. "I didn't mean to startle you, I just wanted to tell you to come down and eat."

Lance's eyes take in his appearance, a slight frown crossing his lips. "We'll go shopping afterwards."

Lucryn doesn't react, Lance taking it as silent acceptance. The two head down the stairs to the dining room, Steven Stone elegantly sipping tea at the head of the table. "Oh, you decided to join us." He says, a quiet clink sounding out as he puts down his teacup.

Steven's eyes rove over Lucryn, a sigh escaping his lips. "It would seem the Professor wasn't wrong, you do enjoy sneaking out during nighttime."

Lucryn strolls over to the far end of the table from Steven, plopping himself down. Lance chose a neutral position in the middle of the two. Steven folds his arms, raising a brow as he stares at Lucryn. "Nothing to say?"

Lucryn takes a small sip of water, not even glancing at Steven. Steven rubs his forehead, feeling even more tired. Having just gotten back from a meeting, he had expected some peace and quiet, and it is quiet, but the kids most definitely injured based off the ripped pants and the bandage peeking through the rips. On top of that, the kid is soaked, head to toe, he looked like a pitiful sight, and based on the doctor's analysis of the kid, he's most likely going to end up sick dressed like that.

"I won't ban you from your night explorations, you're a trainer and I trust you can handle yourself, but I will warn you that you are not immortal, death comes swiftly." While Steven said that, he didn't plan to just let the kid run through the woods at night alone. He'd ensure the kids followed by one of his pokemon or by one of Lance's. Although, Lance's dragons aren't exactly a sneaky batch, so the job would fall to his pokemon most likely.

Lucryn looks up, eyes meeting Steven's, holding the gaze for a second longer, he nods, acknowledging Steven's words.

"Eat what you want, we'll go shop at Fire Ridge Town right after." Steven states. Breakfast proceeds in silence, Lucryn barely eating, only Lance seems to really enjoy the meal, shoveling in large mouthfuls, getting a look of distaste from Steven.

(2 hours later)

Lucryn glares long and hard at Steven, wishing he'd burn to death or be struck by lightning. Steven stares back, not letting it show that the kids glare is downright intimidating. This kids got a wild look to him, and he almost seems bloodthirsty as he sits on the forest ground.

"I told you that's the fastest way to travel. I left my car at the Elite Headquarters of Hoenn." Steven reiterates, probably for the twentieth time. Lance had decided not to come, a last minute matter having cropped up, so that left Steven and Lucryn to go shopping together. Steven hadn't thought much of calling out Metagross and having Metagross use psychic to take them to Fire Ridge Town.

The distance could be covered in under five minutes thanks to Metagross, but when they had landed and Metagross had set Lucryn down, Lucryn had given him a look that he's not sure he'll be able to get out of his mind. Fear, pure and utter fear.

The look had changed swiftly to a glare, but Steven could still see it, those lilac eyes layered with a faint mist as if the boy could cry at any second were wide open and they showed pure fear, as if Steven was about to kill him. Steven had made to calm the boy down, but the glare that followed had deterred him, and the words he was about to utter were caught in his throat.

Eventually he had just said, "Metagross isn't an enemy, he's my pokemon. He used psychic, a psychic type move to carry us here. This is the fastest method of travel, my cars back at the Elite Headquarters."

Lucryn moves backwards, leaning against a tree and after a few minutes he slides down. Sitting, he continued to glare at Steven, time flying past until the present, where the situation still has yet to change.

Steven closes his eyes, taking in a breath, telling himself not to get upset, that this kid is his responsibility now, so he shouldn't lose his cool. "Look, we can walk back, alright?"

Instantly the kid is on his feet, his eyes back to their emotionless state as he nods. Steven blinks, wondering if that angry kid sitting on the ground was his imagination. Clearly not, as the kid cast Metagross a glare a second later, giving the creature a wide berth as he heads around to walk down to Fire Ridge Town. Steven huffs, returning Metagross, not noticing how Lucryn stops, intently studying the wide summoning array that appears under Metagross.

This circle is large, over thirty symbols etched into the outer ring, many of the symbols being a deep gray with a hint of a green sheen to it or a deep pink. The inner circle wasn't empty, a silver symbol at the exact center, two golden symbols directly beneath it. Lucryn memorizes the symbols and their placement on the summoning array to use later in his studies.

Steven pulls up the hood of his jacket he had thrown on before leaving the house, along with putting on a pair of sunglasses, hiding most of his appearance. Lucryn doesn't question his choice of dress, just leading the way down into the town. The town is rather busy due to an upcoming tournament, the hustle and bustle bothering Lucryn who shrinks back, letting Steven lead the way.

Steven doesn't say anything, leading the way to a clothing store, but he's rather surprised when a small hand grabs the hem of his coat, glancing back, he sees Lucryn looking around, his emotionless facade tinged with uneasiness. A hint of pity fills Stevens' heart. He had almost forgotten that no matter how this child carries himself, he's still a child, one who has most likely gone through a lot based on his reactions to what happens around him.

An odd thought came to him. 'This child doesn't trust me, yet he's so close. Just what has happened to him?' When people fear something, the desire to create distance between the two forms, however this child who clearly fears him, or at least doesn't desire to be close to him, has chosen to grow closer to him rather than to those walking around. 'Does he fear others more?'

Lucryn clenches the thin fabric of Steven's coat tighter as a large man almost brushes against him as he walks past. All these people within such close proximity are driving him insane. He doesn't know them, he doesn't understand this world enough to understand what they're capable of, but it's more than that. He is scared that one of them will...

'Don't hurt me!'

'No, kill the monster instead!'

'He's a mistake!'

' "Wait, don't kill him, please!'

' "AAH, make it stop, I won't side with him again!" '

Lucryn screws his eyes shut, sharply breathing in as panic wells up within him. 'To many of them.'

Lucryn hasn't allowed himself to think much about his past, but around so many people he can't help but picture a memory of a large crowd, pushing, shoving, yelling to be heard over one another, and in the center of it all is a young child, broken and in pain. 'No, stop, don't!'

A warm hand touches his head, Lucryn reacting instantly, reaching out and grasping the wrist of the one touching him, twisting his body as he uses his meager weight to throw the person over his head. A surprised yelp followed by a thump is heard. Lucryn's eyes flying open, the intent to kill filling them, but when he whips around, he sees Steven lying there, sunglasses askew, watching him with an indecipherable look.

Lucryn backs up instantly, a hint of loss in his eyes as he stares at Steven. Steven rises, brushing himself off, raising an eyebrow at Lucryn. "You good?"

Lucryn is very much not good, but seeing that he's somehow in a small store with only the cashier who's looking at him in shock and Steven, he forces himself to nod, letting himself breathe and relax.

Steven isn't sure how he's so calm, but inwardly he applauds himself for not reacting harshly for the kids' surprise judo flip. His body didn't hurt, it would take more than being thrown to the ground to injure him, so he just took it as a learning experience. 'First lesson. Don't touch Lucryn without permission.'

The two quietly browse the shop, Steven doing most of the actual shopping as he throws clothes he thinks are Lucryn's size into a basket. Even if their not, he has money to spare, he can just take Lucryn shopping again. Lucryn picks out a few clothes, Steven paying for everything, the cashier being kind enough to let Lucryn change in the back seeing as how the child is a bit wet and his clothes aren't in good shape.

Lucryn changes swiftly, wearing skin tight black jeans, black boots (Steven's request...demand), a white long-sleeved tunic that hid his contracted mark and a black hoodie, which he promptly pulls the hood up.

Walking out, Steven's eyes land on him, a hint of concern flickering through them as he sees just how slender Lucryn is. With the baggy clothes Lucryn wore before, he couldn't tell, but the kid is very thin, the professor's warning that the kid is suffering from malnutrition coming to his mind. The hoodie hid much of it, but it couldn't hide all of it.

Still, looking at Lucryn, Steven can't help but feel a hint of affection for the child, he's just too cute. With those large lilac eyes and refined facial features, black hair that's still a tad wet falling around his face and down to his shoulder blades, he really is cute. Lucryn sneezes just then, making Steven tiredly sigh. 'I should grab some cold medicine on the way back.'

The two continue shopping, Lucryn not grabbing onto Steven's jacket anymore, but still sticking close to the man. After visiting numerous stores, Lucryn is feeling rather curious about the bag on Steven's back. It seemed like no matter how much Steven put in, it wouldn't fill up.

Steven, noticing his gaze, smiles. "It's a Pokebag, it has a space within it that's larger than what it should be. It was designed at Professor Oak's lab, made to make adventuring slightly easier. Professor Oak is a renowned pokemon professor, one of the most famous ones alive, but a good portion of the fame is due to the items he makes to make everyday life more convenient, not just for trainers, but for everyone."

Lucryn nods in understanding, Steven promising to buy him his own pokebag in a bit. After a few more stores, they really do enter a store selling Pokebags of all shapes and sizes, the space within each differing as well. Lucryn isn't a fan of the backpacks, choosing a satchel instead, the satchel containing around 50 by 50 square feet of space. Steven insists on buying him a backpack as well since you can still only fit so much into the satchel and the opening is too small for many necessities like a tent, so he buys him a backpack that's grayish-green and teal. The space inside the backpack is the size of a small room, Lucryn deciding he no longer needs to worry about space anymore.

The backpack would never surpass thirty pounds no matter how much he put in it, just as the satchel would never surpass five pounds. The lightness would make for easy travel. Lucryn felt half dead by the time shopping finally ended. Walking through the woods helped him relax and recenter himself.

Steven peacefully walks alongside Lucryn, slightly surprised he's not bothered at all the time he's spent today on Lucryn. Normally he does everything he can to get things done quickly and efficiently, but today has been a nice and relaxing morning with no rush to get anything done, and he feels slightly closer to Lucryn now. 'Maybe becoming his guardian isn't such a bad thing.'

A roar sounds out, Steven sensing something just as Lucryn knocks into him, the two tumbling to the ground, something flying over their heads. Steven's already activated his summoning array, a large silverish-green and deep pink array covering the ground, Metagross rising out of it. Steven bites his tongue, having almost asked Metagross to use psychic on them and lift them up and out of the danger zone. He didn't need Lucryn upset with him when there's other solutions. "Metagross use protect and then go on the offensive!"
The command was received both aloud and through their link, and Steven finds a blue sphere surrounds them, rippling as harsh winds assault the area, trees upheaved and thrown around, one almost bashing into Metagross who changes its trajectory with psychic, throwing it back the way it came. Steven's eyes are sharp as he takes in their surroundings, eyes finally settling on a swiftly moving creature. 'A Gallade!'

"Metagross, psybeam!" Metagross fires off a strong psybeam, the Gallade expertly dodging, its arms darkening as it swings outwards, a blade of dark energy flying off of it. 'Night slash, Metagross use Double team and then Psycho Cut!' With the noise around, Steven switches completely to using the link, firing off command after command.

Lucryn stands behind Steven, watching the battle with wide eyes. 'This is a pokemon battle?'

A blade of pink energy slams into the barrier around them, causing it to ripple and almost collapse. Lucryn feels his marks warming, his pokemon seemed to have sensed his situation. 'Come out Charcadets'

The two creatures appear outside of the barrier, both growling at the two fighting pokemon, their flames dangerously heating up. "Lucryn calm down, they can't fight here, they'll burn down the woods!" Steven says, momentarily distracted, Metagross takes a blow, but since it used iron defense the damage is minimal to non-existent.

Lucryn spares Steven a glance, not reacting much to the warning, but he does throw a glance at the two Charcadets who both let out "Charc!", seemingly saying they'd try not to burn down the woods.

"You haven't even named them, darn it, who taught you how to be a trainer?!" Steven yells, all while giving Metagross mental commands. Lucryn's eyes widen, 'Who taught me to be a trainer? How the hell would I have a teacher?!'

Half of Lucryn's brain still thinks rationally. 'What's so important about naming them?' Metagross bashes a claw into Gallade, sending the Gallade flying back, crashing through multiple trees before collapsing on the ground. Rising weakly, Gallade lets out a cry, it's power seeming to rise as it rockets out at a faster speed, delivering a kick to Metagross before twisting arm slashing out, glowing with pink light. Metagross moves at an incredible speed, that pink light still surrounding it. Lucryn thinks of the name of that move. 'Psychic.'

Lucryn's eyes follow the battle, eyes noting a large gouge on Gallade's chest. Eyes flashing, his lips curl up, a wild side coming out as he moves, silently leaving the barrier, jumping into a tree. Neither Steven nor the Charcadets seemed aware of his movements, just as he planned, calling out the two pokemon distracted Steven from his own presence.

Jumping from branch to branch, his eyes follow the battle, his hand slipping into his satchel, grasping a blade that Steven begrudgingly agreed to buy him when he saw how Lucryn wouldn't let go of it. The dagger was sharp, but it would most likely be unable to cut through Gallade's skin. An explosion rocks the woods, the tree he's on groaning ominously as dust flares up, Gallade slamming into the ground a few tens of feet away from him.

The pokemon is already trying to rise, when a bolt of steel nails the creature in the head, slamming him harder into the ground. Lucryn senses his opening, with a thought he's returned his two Charcadet, jumping to the next tree and springing down, knife touching the Gallade's wound right where the chest is, eyes locking with the dazed Gallades. Pressing down with the dagger, Gallade's wound bleeds harder, Lucryn knowing that one good push and he'd directly end Gallade's life...probably, pokemon are built differently, but puncturing its heart should probably kill it.

"Sh*t Lucryn!" Steven yells, but Lucryn's tuned him out, right now, all that he can see is this Gallade, who's eyes burn with the will to battle and the desire for blood. Lucryn's eyes glow blood red as he glares at the creature, his own bloodlust completely revealed, focused entirely on Gallade. Gallade shudders a tad, mind losing focus.

'This human is...scary?' The thought didn't feel right, but there it was. 'Humans aren't meant to be scary...is he even human?'

Lucryn feels his body go light, and suddenly he's flying through the air, his eyes widening, the bloodlust fading and turning to fear as he finds he's completely constrained, he can't move. That pink light surrounds his form, and a growl rips from his body at the loss of his dagger which was left behind.

Gallade recovers almost instantly, arm flashing with a dark light as it swings out, Lucryn letting out a whimper as he's directly impaled, his lower right chest now carrying a ghastly slice. Blood drips from Lucryn's mouth as it rushes up, spilling from his lips. Anger courses through him, but he doesn't have time to dwell on it as he crashes into Steven Stone, pain flaring through his chest.

"You idiot!" Steven says, ripping off his coat and pressing it over Lucryn's chest. Lucryn hisses at him, weakly attempting to hit him, deftly being blocked by Steven. From afar he hears the sounds of explosions, it would seem the fight has continued. The world starts spinning as Lucryn feels his mind slow, pain taking over his mind, eyes fluttering shut, no longer having the strength to stay open.

"Darn it, you better stay awake!" A voice yells, sounding far off, but oddly familiar. Lucryn tries to place it, but finds darkness overtaking him. "Sh*t you little-"
