A/N: Hello world! New chapter here. There's not much to add other than I hope you like it, let's dive right into where we left off.

She felt the familiar pull the mirror made on her. She let herself go and instead of getting to the floor upright, she fell on her face. Her mind's floor was hard, cold, like concrete. Before getting up she could see the little cracks all over the floor. Even that was beginning to shatter.

She got up and dusted herself from the inexistant dirt. Nevermore looked like it had been abandoned. The arches that divided each realm remained up but looked frail. The atmosphere's ravens lingered perch up on them.

She tried walking into her mind but as soon as she put her weight on the path, a chunk of the road fell into nothingness. She sighed and decided to float for the time being. The memories of her last meaningful visit to Nevermore ambushed her; right after she had 'supposedly defeated Trigon' she had ventured into her mind to find a weakened Rage. She wasn't doing any more damage, but she didn't back down either. Raven in balance with herself, as represented by her white cloak, with an unparallel amount of power had chained Rage, locked her up, and exiled her to the back of her mind.

Raven entered the realm of Happiness, looking for her pink emoticlone, as she needed her to help to gather the other ones, she got along with most of them. She crossed the arch, expecting to find pink fields, but instead found a normal field. She felt that something was wrong immediately, because her emoticlone didn't receive her. She walked along the path and found several glitches around the scenery, a field broken up in some spots, and trees that were upside down. Nothing too out of the ordinary. She called out for her emoticlone but didn't get an answerback.

She got out of Happiness's realm alone. She turned her head to the right and looked back on the path through the realm. The struggles of time could be seen from her place. She moved along, trying not to think too much about her actions, but alas it became impossible. She couldn't help but wonder, had she caused this mess? And how? She had deferred time, and time again her visits to Nevermore, but never expected this. She hadn't felt she neglected herself that much until she saw a visual representation of it.

She approached the next arch and quickly entered the realm of Knowledge, almost running to try to find her. If Knowledge was missing too, she was in for it. But she didn't have to wait long until she noticed a yellow-cloaked figure with her nose burrowed into a book.

"Knowledge! Where is everyone else?" Raven called out from her place and approached her emoticlone.

"In their respective realms, I suppose?" Knowledge answered unfazed, not lifting her face from an old and worn-down book.

"Happiness wasn't in hers." Raven responded.

"Interesting. I haven't been out of mine in a while. Have you tried Brave's or Love's? She surely must be around one of those two." She replied with her attention still on the book in front of her.

"You are right. Let's go find her." Raven stated and moved the book from Knowledge's reach. That seemed to grab her attention.

"Why do I have to go? I have things to do." Knowledge retorted taking the book out of her hands and opening it, fuming as she had lost the page she was reading.

"Like what?" Raven questioned her yellow-cloaked self, thinking that surely whatever she was reading could wait. Knowledge sighed and realized she was not going away anytime soon.

"I'm still deciphering this peculiar book." She stated with certain annoyance at herself. Raven looked once more at the book and realized one particular rune on it. A revelation washed over her.

"Isn't that the one about forbidden spells? Quit that in this instant." Raven reprimanded Knowledge swiftly.

"Oh please. You have been browsing it since you can read." Knowledge countered, looking unashamed at the situation.

"We didn't know what it was! It is too dangerous!" Raven almost shouted outraged at Knowledge's actions.

"The daughter of Trigon scared of a book. Us scared of a book. Unfathomable thought." Knowledge answered in an unnerving tone. Raven embraced the silence around them and a pit on her stomach began to form. Was that Rage's tone? Was she seeping into her other emotions? Was it too late? She was stunted and Knowledge didn't appear to catch on to her uncomfortableness.

"Because I know what it can do." Raven murmured.

"You don't fully, at least. That is why I'm working on it." Knowledge said with defiance, still ignoring her feelings on the subject.

"I'm erasing that." Raven declared as she saw not an inch of remorse in Knowledge's demeanor.

"So it is true." Knowledge tone came back and quickly hid the book out of Raven's reach.

"What?" Raven asked baffled.

"Timid has taken over us." Knowledge stated with both, seething annoyance and resignation.

"I don't know what you mean." Raven replied slowly, confused about the accusation.

"You sure do. You are scared of everything. The sounds, the shadows, our thoughts, ourselves in battle, or anywhere else for the matter." Knowledge asserted matter of fact.

"I'm making sure we remain Titans. That is all." Raven said, trying to convey confidence in her words.

"By renouncing ourselves?" Doubled down Knowledge, already knowing the answer.

"By any means necessary." Raven revealed firmly. Knowledge shook her head and saw Raven's body language; stiff, hands slightly up, and her body ready to fight, she wasn't going to change her mind now.

"Well, I can“t say that is out of character for us. Self-sacrifice has always been our forte. What are you planning to do?" Knowledge inquired quietly, staring into Raven's eyes.

"Not sure on the how, but I need to locate Rage and finish her existence." Raven let her eyes wander to the floor as she declared calmly.

"Are you hearing yourself? You want to excise Rage?" Knowledge choked; her stoic demeanor broken by the foolishness Raven was displaying.

"I need to get rid of our demonic heritage. Permanently. Either that or accept that I will unleash chaos. For that, I need to be, at least, as powerful as I was when we fought Trigon. I need you to help me to gather all of us." Raven continued, as she was repeating her mantra.

"You know that is not how it works. Our balanced form will appear once we feel harmony. Not by shoveling us around." Knowledge said as racked her brain to find a single good reason why she could have reached that conclusion.

"I don't care. Trigon cannot do this to us again. Not now. The uncontrolled outbursts, the fury, the close calls on missions, the nightmares. Everything points to him again. To Rage. We need to reach that level again." Raven implored impulsivity shining through her words.

"We defeated Trigon three years ago." Knowledge accused, and Raven shook her head adamantly. She slowly realized. Raven, she, wasn't doing this out of reason.

"No. It can't be." She stated.

"What are you worried about?" Knowledge tried a different approach, feeling out of her depth. Raven took a few seconds to come up with an answer, but she couldn't quite reach it.

"Going mad because I can't control my powers." Raven tried to explain, stating one of her concerns.

"Well, were never quite sane to begin with. You are talking to yourself, in your mind." She countered ineptly. One can't reason with raw emotions, at least not as effectively.

Raven didn't want to hear to reason. She walked up to her and grabbed her by the arm. Raven put her head closer to her ear and said, "Let's go Knowledge."

Knowledge got her arm out of her grip and adjusted her glasses. "Fine. I'll tag along on your idiotic journey."

A/N: I don't want to spoil anything, so that is it for now! Next chapter will be up shortly! (Hopefully) Stay tuned for more!
