After returning to base and getting the adults recharged the group was now waiting for lunala to recover
"so UB black absorbed Lincoln." Lusamine said
"correct." Z said before playing a recording of what happened
"it sounds like he's saying "light"." Lusamine said
"I'm pretty sure I heard a "where's the fucking light" back there." Z said
"does that mean UB black wants light?" Professor burnet asked
"possibly." Z said "but why?"
"that we don't know." Lusamine said
soon they group used their Z rings to heal lunala who let a roar while destroying some things
"No lunala!" Lusamine said
lunala continued to thrash about
"Please, Lunala, calm down!" Lusamine said
poipole managed to calm lunala down
"so then let's go save Lincoln!" Ash said
"Wait just a minute! You intend to go through that Ultra Wormhole along with Lunala?" Lusamine asked
"Yeah!" Ash said
"but it's dangerous!" Lusamine said
"But we went to rescue you and we got back fine." Gladion said
"It may have been fine. But there's no telling what will this Ultra Wormhole might be connected to." Professor burnet said
"and Lincoln has the dna of some of the most powerful legendary pokemon and I think UB black's hold on him is much more powerful than deoxys's hold on him was." Faba said
"well we have the originals!" Ash said
"We'll be fine. Please, mother." Lillie said
"Very well." Lusamine said
"And we'll back you up with everything we got!" Professor burnet said
"good because I need someone to watch detsi, Tera and tock for me." Wes said handing the 3 to professor burnet "this one is way to dangerous for them."
"very well." Lusamine said
soon the group headed out
"now send for the helicopter." Lusamine Said
"lusamine wait." Professor kukui said "look at this."
he put in a disc z gave him and it showed an outside view of what happened after deoxys and pecharaunt were sent flying by Lincoln
it showed deoxys slamming into a blimp with a giant letter R before blasting it and flying back
"team rocket." Lusamine said
"I think those are the higher ups in the blimp." Professor kukui said "let me go there's a good chance they will strike again."
"very well faba go with him." Lusamine said
"yes ma'am." Faba said
Tera was thinking of what to do
despite being a baby she was extremely smart just unable to talk
(if only I were bigger.) she thought to herself before looking at tock
(that could work.) Tera thought to herself

eventually the saw the blimp and with some help from faba managed to learn that this was team rocket's "Matori matrix"
professor kukui got his braviary to use brave bird to get their attention and faba used his alakazam and hypno to ensure they landed by attacking
"let's hope they can do this." Professor kukui said
with ash
the group arrived in a dark place though poipole seemed happy to be there
"ash look lunala is flying out of sight!" Gladion said
"danger!" Rotom said as a venoshock suddenly came from one of the crevices
"quick charizard flamethrower!" Kiawe said as charizard fired the attack deflecting the venoshock
the smoke cleared revealing a bunch of poipole
"a bunch of poipole!" Ash said
and there were hundreds possibly thousands of poipole there
soon they noticed a hive like structure
"is that a poipole nest?" Mallow asked
the poipole shot out more venoshocks
"stop it we're not your enemy!" Ash said "Please we came here to save someone close to us!"
poipole managed to talk to them
suddenly the group heard giant steps beings taken before seeing a creature that looked similar to poipole who then let out a cry
"something really big just appeared!" Mallow said
"No data!" Rotom said
poipole flew up and began to talk the creature
"it looks kinda like poipole." Lana said "it's colour and it's shape."
"do you think that they're friends?" Ash asked
suddenly The Pokémon fell to the ground looking exhausted
"let's go!" Ash said only to get stopped by gladion
"hold ash if we stop now we will lose track of lunala." Gladion said
"but we gotta help!" Ash said
the group flew over
they picked up the beast and took it back to its throne
"I don't see anything physically wrong with it." Kiawe said "but it seems really worn out."
mallow pulled out some sitrus berries
"these are sitrus berries eat them." Mallow said
The Pokémon ate the berries after some reassurance from poipole
"well?" Mallow asked
"taste good?" Lana asked
"I hope you feel better." Lillie said
"Thank you, stingerless beings." The Pokémon said surprising everyone
"who said that?" Ash asked
"it is me." The Pokémon said
"telepathy?" Gladion questioned
"You said you were here to rescue someone?" The Pokémon asked
"yes UB black took someone close to us and we need to get them back!" Ash said
"UB black? Are you referring to necrozma?" The Pokémon asked
"what do you mean necrozma?" Ash asked
"I must make a request." The Pokémon said "I ask that you leave and do nothing about Necrozma."
"but-" ash said before getting cut off
"necrozma needs solgaleo's power to restore-" The Pokémon began before getting cut of by ash
"Necrozma doesn't have solgaleo!" Ash said
"what?" The Pokémon asked
"it's has a friend of ours named Lincoln." Z said "he is made up of multiple legendary Pokémon including solgaleo and lunala along with arecus too."
"that's not good." The Pokémon said "in order to restore its old form Necrozma needs light."
The Pokémon showed them an illusion of the blinding one
"Necrozma and the blinding one are the same." Z said
"however arecus's light is too much for necrozma to handle. if Necrozma keeps absorbing light from your friend Necrozma will detonate taking your friend and possibly every living thing here with them." The Pokémon explained
"but if it knows this why is it still attached?" Ash asked
"Necrozma in it's current state mostly likely thinks they're absorbing light from a solgaleo or lunala." The Pokémon said
"we gotta do something." Z said "but what?"
suddenly the group heard a screech
it was lunala getting attacked by the Necrozma possessed Lincoln
"silvally use air slash!" Gladion said sending out the ultra beast killer
silvally sent out air slash knocking Necrozma off of lunala
"we need something that will keep eclipse fist Necrozma away." Z said
"eclipse fist necrozma?" Ash asked
"well better than calling it Lincoln." Z said
"I got an idea!" Wes said as he grabbed every pokeball containing a legendary with psychic and sent them out
"we'll keep them busy you guys come up with a plan!" Wes said

Tera watched on screen as faba and professor kukui were defeated by a member of the Matori matrix
(I must help.) Tera thought as she made some gestures to tock who began to glow blue for a moment
suddenly Tera began to glow with a red and black aura and began to bounce around with incredible speed moving fast enough that she was just a blur
"what the?!" Lusamine said "what is that?!"
eventually Tera bounced out of the ultra guardians base taking detsi with her
"where's detsi and Tera?" Professor burnet asked upon realizing that both Tera and detsi were gone
meanwhile
"we need a plan." Faba said
"incineroar go!" Professor kukui said sending out incineroar
faba connected the dots
"THE MASKED ROYAL?!?" Faba yelled
"aggron use-" gozu said
suddenly a red and black light appeared and slammed into aggron before bouncing around like a ball
"what is that?!" Gozu said
"gozu what is going on down there?" Matori said
"all hands on deck!" Gozu said as the other members sent out a houndoom a banette and a Scizor
once the aura stopped bouncing it began to fade away revealing a 16 year old Tera (who looked fully human.) and a still baby detsi who was sitting on her shoulder
professor kukui and faba were stunned
"Wes is gonna kill us." Professor kukui said
"Wes?!? You're worried about WES?!" Faba asked "WHAT'S LINCOLN GONNA DO TO US?!?"
"so who's first?" Tera asked the Matori matrix
the banette ran up and did a shadow claw but it did nothing
"ah. A volunteer." Tera said as she dropped a beast ball
out of the beast ball came out a giant ultra beast with a huge mouth and close that looked like mouths
"GUZZZ LORD!" The ultra beast roared as it slammed bannete away
"...burnet is gonna be a widow once Lincoln's done with me." Professor kukui said
"pfft no she won't! I won't let pops hurt ya!" Tera said "now then let's have some fun!"
she threw 5 more beast balls up in the air which sent out a buzzwole, a xurkitree, a kartana, a blacephalon, and a block like ultra beast
"so... let's see how long you last." Tera said
with Wes
despite having every single legendary available to them they weren't winning
"(we can't hold back anymore.)" Marshadow said
"but dad-" Wes began before getting cut off
"(Wes you know better than anyone that your father would want to be killed if it meant saving everything.)" Marshadow said
"...you're right." Wes said "let's do this."
Wes powered up to his mega form as everyone else powered up to their strongest forms
Wes rushed in and began to pummel Necrozma
Necrozma backed up only to get spin kicked by urshifu right in the jaw
rayquaza landed a dragon accent as victini landed a V-Create
Marshadow punched Necrozma in the gut with thunder punch
"everyone we got a plan!" Ash yelled
Necrozma suddenly rushed to ash with a blast ready
and in a blink of an eye ash was gone only his hat on the ground
"(ash?)" Pikachu said "(ash?)"
"(ASH!)" Pikachu yelled as he released a thunderbolt that hit Necrozma point blank causing a massive explosion and giant smoke cloud
"that was too close." Deoxys said in their speed form
while holding ash
"Pops!" Wes said
"(ash you're ok!)" Pikachu said
"where's Necrozma?" Ash asked
the smoke finally cleared revealing necrozma separated from Lincoln
"WES GET HIM OUT OF THERE NOW!" Kyurem yelled
"Right!" Wes said as he turned into mega Y form and grabbed Lincoln before fleeing
"let's do this." ash said
meanwhile with Tera
Tera honestly wasn't trying at all at this point
"you think you're tough with these ultra beasts?!" One of the rockets said "without them you're nothing!"
"why don't we see if that's true?" Tera asked "only if you say yes."
"yes!" The rocket said
"...you guys really are idiots." Tera said as she began to transform
suddenly a rayqauza head burst out of her right arm
she touched buzzwole turning her right arm into a buzzwole arm
her legs were turned into an xurkitree and a urshifu leg
she had giratina wings come out of her back along with some deoxys tentacles
her body had multiple mouths like the first ultra beast she sent out
her head had a small mane similar to solgaleo's
she and extra floating arms that were like UB black's arms

"you doomed us." Gozu said to the rocket
the houndoom tried to attack only for a chain similar to pecharaunt's was wrapped around it's neck as Tera slammed it into the ground
"down mutt." Tera said
Scizor tried a bullet punch only to get punched by Tera
"who needs a hammer when I got arms like these!" Tera said while flexing
banette tried to hit another shadow claw only to hit detsi and make her bleed
in response to that Tera kicked banette, ripped off her own head and threw it at the Matori matrix causing the head to explode
Tera regrew her head as the Matori matrix retreated back to the blimp
the blimp tried to go through the wormhole but was stopped by tapu koko
the Matori matrix then retreated back to kanto
"ah that was fun." Tera said as she turned back to her fully human form "so now we wait for pops to come back."
professor kukui and faba weren't sure how they were going to explain this one to Lincoln when he got back
meanwhile with ash
everyone lent their energy to Necrozma but it still wasn't enough they needed more
lunala threw gladion a Z crystal
"we must use a Z move!" Gladion said to ash
"right!" Ash said as he put in solgaleo's z crystal in the Z ring
both of them did the pose for their respective pokemon
"Use searing sunraze smash!" Ash yelled
"use menacing moonraze maelstrom!" Gladion yelled
both Pokemon fired their attacks at Necrozma causing it to regain its true power and turn back into the blinding one
soon the world was restored to normal
"is he going to be alright?" Mallow asked concerned about Lincoln
"he's pretty banged up but other than that it should take him about a week to wake up." Z said
"a week?!?" Ash asked
"yes but he will be fine." Z said
and with that the group said their goodbyes with poipole wanting to stay behind and headed back home
meanwhile
(that was a huge failure) Matori thought to herself
"uh boss I have something you should see." The rocket who owned the banette said
"what?!" Matori said angrily
he handed her a vial of blood
the blood of detsi
(maybe not as huge as I thought) Matori thought to herself while grinning
meanwhile with Tera
ash and the gang brought Lincoln in and set him down on a bed
"is ok?" Tera asked
"who are you?" Lana asked
ash and mallow had a look of realization
"TERA?!?" Ash and mallow yelled
"hey mom hey dad." Tera said "is pops going to be ok?"
oh boy! Drama!
