Chapter 1:The Mighty Kingdom of Ice
It was quiet inside the airship right now as the group all stared at what they where seeing right now. That being the entire atlas fleet of airships as several manta airships patrolled the skies watching out for any type of threat that may occur. While they watched this right now they watched in amazement right now seeing this all surroduning the capital
"I…i saw the news talking about this. But is this all of their military"may commented
"You aren't kidding last time we were here it wasn't like this. I mean….they seemed to have beefed up their defense right now."falk replied still plioting the ship as he was in shock
"So now what we just land where they want us to. Then we take the lamp to ironwood and get some answers"cardin suggested but that was met with some skepticism by the others right now
"I don't think we should land just yet, especially with the military who might just shoot some of us on sight"Yumi said confusing a few
"Why the heck wouldn't we just land, then we can look for pyrrha"nora said excited on finding her friend but that was the problem
"What do you think she means by shoot us on sight. What….okay this is just a theory but what if they lied to those soldier. That once we land where going to be met by an atlas hitsquad."summer supported as they thought about it for a moment before that came to their minds
"Oh crap you might be right….so what should we do just avoid an entire military fleet"merucry questioned but weiss thought of something for a moment
"Hold on get winter on the radio right now. Maybe we should check with my sister"weiss replied
Flak nodded before reaching over twisting the knobs and dials on the console. After a bit of time he got a radio frequency matching the other ship as soon enough winter came through on the other end of the console
"What do you need? Is their a problem because i was busy talking to clover right now"Winter said on the other end as they paused for a moment
"Winter….i…feel like we need to come up with a plan before we decide to just head into an atlas military platform"weiss said with her older sister on the other side as it remained silent for a little bit before she came through
"I think you might be right little sister. We need to get some distance from this fleet because….god what did james do while we were gone"Winter said to their surprise she agreed with them.
Deciding to get some distance from those airships. Falk bagan to steer their ship downward into mantle seeing it was the closest option. While their was winter airship following them close by it flew down into the streets of mantle. Everyone mostyl looked through the windows to see what was below them
They looked down seeing a slums like city below the mighty floating city surprising them right now. But they even noticed a few patrolling atlas soldiers luckily caught by their eyes since their armor was white. Though they noticed the people of mantle all wandering the city streets going throughout their daily lives
"What….what is this place?"jaune questioned
"This would be mantle. This is sort of like the lower class section of atlas in a way. Its home to the people who aren't from the higher class or can afford enough to live in the floating city. Alot of people down here are either homeless or criminal"Weiss explained
"Well at least one of them is nice…should talk to robyn if we get the chance. Be nice to check up on that chick"lazuli said before eria noticed something on a nearby building
"Uhhhh are you friends with a coucnilwomen?"eria questioned to some confusion right now because she wasn't one last time
"Wait….she wasn't apart of the atlas council. "Weiss replied as they walked toward something eria pointed out. As they noticed several things right now
As their were several large skyscraper that displayed random news broadcast along with weather reports. Their was even one that showed the anniversary of the indoctrnation of councilwomen hill on the tv. Along with a video broadcast that was playing right now throughout the kingdom of ironwood
"People of atlas we cannot express our appreciation enough. Many would describe the uncertain of these times, while that may be the case for the rest of the world. I assure you that is certain. But the kingdom of atlas will protect its citizen inour floating city and in mantle. No matter the cost. We urge you when curfew starts tonight you stay in your homes for your safety. While our soldier patrol the streets for any sigh of the grimm knight identified as a teryx"ironwood voice boomed through the entire city as they looked completely stunned right now
"Oh my god….i….theirs a curfew? That…that wasn't here last time why would their be a curfew"weiss siad in shock seeing her home like this
"I think i know why he just said teryx…maybe that thing been taking people"merucyr said as suddenly zane felt a painful pulse in his head as a flash happened showing him someone in a test tube labeled lota as he recalled who that was
"Ughhhh lec….and i just got a stupid info dump"zane said rubbing his head
Summer scoffed"i know who he is. Not surprising james would do this….that thing has a speed semblance. We should be careful of him right now"She warned as they nodded in agreement on that. Though something caught velvet attention
"Uhhh guys isn't that one of the ace operatives on the screen"velvet said making them rush over to a nearby window to see something shocking. That being a news broadcaster saying something about recent events
"In recent news. We can confirm another fantastic thing our military has acccomplsihed. That being the death of another one of these knights of grimm. Sergeant marrow amin was the one to do the deed on killing one of the grimm knight. Later sources confirmed the sighting of two more of them in the area. Along with one that is rumored to be sighted from the battle of havan academy." a news broadcaster said to their susprise
"Ohhhh we might be dealing with alot more than we can chew"yang joked slightly though someone scroll buzzed which was may as she saw it was paddy pressing call placing him on speaker as laughter could be heard
"Holy shit…wags took a grimm knight down. Oh…oh he must be a celebraity now here. Though uh kiddies you might wanna answer the radio"paddy suggested as they stared at it. Qrow decided to take charge on this as he walked over picking up the radio pressing a button on it to talk
"This is qrow branwhen speaking does anyone read me"qrow said into the radio until someone came through on the other end
""Well color me surprise. Nice to hear your voice again my unlucky doppleganger"clover said on the other end making the man regret picking this up now.
Qrow sighed pressing the button to talk"ebi….nice to hear your still doing the luck puns. Let me guess you want us to land somewhere on one of your landing pads right now i'm guessing"he asked
"Actually yes. The general would like a word with you on what took so long along with any recent developments"clover said as they stayed silent for a moment as qrow glanced around for a quick lie or idea. Then he glanced at may more improtnalty her covered eye as he had an idea
"Actually uh clove….were done in mantle right now. But uh we need to make a quick stop one of the people in our group damaged a prosthetic they had pretty bad. Might need to make a quick pitstop…the mighty jimmy fine with that"qrow asked as they waited for an answer
What felt like forever right now hoping this would work soon someone spoke up through it.
"That will be fine. Tell you what head to peitro place and we can regroup their. It should be safe oh but watch out for the vice vest. Just a heads up"clover said as it suspired them
"Okay…see you their"qrow said disconnecting the radio signal as he turned to face th others right now
"Alright we should make a landing….tell winter to head off to their. Its a good spot we used when we visited here"yumi said as they took her instructions to heart right now
Telling winter and the others on where to land. They started their descent down onto the city of atlas right now which took them a while to land. But eventually they did as they soon all got off their ships but right now in the back of the other airship bonnet sat int heir staring at the six caskets of her comrades that she lost recently. With paddy sighing their as winter stepped off to greet them
"I take it you plan to head off to peitro right now"winter said because she heard the radio broadcast with clover
"We are….we gotta take a little stroll through town to see whats up. Also to fix little miss beanie here eye maybe."lazuli said gesturing to the desert sniper who looked nervous a little hoping she won't have to pay too much for a replacement
"Good because well….i'll stay here and radio for james to send a retrieval team. Along with…holding out till i need to break the news to artemis she lost more of her soldiers. They will be missed for their heroic scarfieces"winter sadly said as they stayed silent for a moment
"Well lets get going then"neo signed as they all started to walk with her leaving winter and the others to their own vices in their airship.
They began to walk through the streets of mantle as they watched trucks drive past them with atelsain knight 200's standing on various sidewalks. While adam and zane had hoods up to hide their idneitiys for with armed atlas soilder patrolling the street with a few others in hand made armor from the looks of it confusing some of them.
"What with the homeless looking guy walking with the soldiers"emerald pointed out
"Don't know….seems like hills shelter workforce. They patrol the streets down here for any sign of the vice vest. But they never work with atlas this is weird. She never liked the council but now shes apparently a councilwomen since we last left"falk commented surprised seeing this
As they passed by some news bullets that showed missing people with several names and picture dispaleyd on them. Along with that assiantion on schnee dust company board of directors surprising a few of them. But one caught blake eye as she began to laugh for a moment which caught their attention.
"Whats so funny cat ears?"cardin asked
"What you find a funny news broadcast going on right now"rogue joked but the cat faunus had the biggest smile on her face
"Uhhh weiss you might wanna look at a recent little morning show broadcast their playing right here. You'll love it"blake said
This peeked their interest as they walked over to it in complete shock what they were seeing. As it showed the previous talk show with willow and jacque their. But it showed the women annoucing her divorce with him along with that showing him hitting wren on the screen. Though it displayed one words that made yang read them outloud
"Jacque gele….the devil that took over the schnee legacy. Willow schnee announced her divorce along with supsected evidence of…child abuse"yang said in shock with a smile. They stood silent for a moment as ruby cheered right now
"Oh my god! They…they actually are doing something weiss that such great news!"ruby cheered as he heiress stared at it for a moment with a few tears slipping away
"It is…though oh god. You might get to meet my mother and little brother now…god i hope she won't tease me"weiss whined as she glanced at her boyfriend
"But how will you explain being a faunus now"Ren simply pointed out as they didn't think about that right now
"Ahhhh that…eh we can come down to that road when we get their. Besides we should really get off these streets. They got drones"maria commented
As right now a small atlas drone flew around the streets doing a patrol watching anything suspicious if something were to happen. They decided to continue picking up pace right now trying their best to avoid any trouble along the way.
But liek always trouble found them as a scent plagued the faunus nositral right now that smelled pungent as they turned a corner
"Ughhh what is that smell…does this place always smell awful"onxyia commented in disgust as someone called her out
"Oh what you don't like the smell here?"a drunkard called out on a nearby porch. As he reeked of booze right now along with that his lips were stained in liquor along with a noticeable stain on his shirt as they found this annoying
Onxyia sighed"no i didn't mean its just that i–"She was stopped by him
"Shut up! You dam beast are so sensitive with your dumb traits"the durnk said bruping slightly causing some to find that disgsuitng. But cardin stepped forward to deal with him
"Hey buddy back off before i–"he was stopped as eria pulled him down into ear shot
"We can't start a scene if we do then two of us will be seen by the public. If that happens we might be in deeper trouble"she warned as he clench his fist understanding. But the drunk walked over staring at the wolf faunus noticing her two traits
"Oh god….your one of those genetic freaks of a faunus…fricking abonormal bitch"he rudely said making her back up upon hearing that hugging herself hearing that terrible words from someone.
Though someone had enough right now as the man unscrewed his flaks for more precious liquor. Soon enough yang walked over lifting the man up easily as he flaied around in her arms confused
"Hey…hey! Let me go you–he was stopped
As she threw him through air into something that being an open dumpster. The man then fell into the dumpster with his flask joining him. Then she walked over slamming the lid close as banging could be heard on it as she placed a concrete block on top of it dusting her hands off
"Their the trash has been taken out….lets get to this peitro guy or whatever"yang commented
As they all began to run through the streets to reach their desiantion. Knowing their way down the lower level lazuli guided them the best they could down here. Though qrow knew his way down here since he visited the shop a few times for his prosthetic leg.
Because after about twenty minutes of walking they soon arrived at the store. They looked at the store seeing the bright neon green sign on it as right now they where curious where they were right now.
"So mind telling us who this peitro guy is?"nora questioned right now as they apporahced the doo
"Oh uh…well pietro polendina is one of atlas greatest minds. Second behind him would be that merlot guy. This is his prosthetic shop he runs in mantle come here every so often to check on my peg leg"qrow commented but this made his daughter eyes widden hearing that
"Wait…wait is he pennys dad?"ruby asked excited right now as the man chuckle nodding to her exciting her till no end. All except for one person as zane dreaded to meet that man again after what he did to penny especially her
Walking over to the door qrow stepped forward knocking on the door a few times to get someone attention until someone spoke up
"I'm coming! Please wait for me to come to the door"A female voice called out making them curious. As soon enough instead being met by the owner of the store right now they where met by someone else. That being carmine alcus who was adjusting her glasses
"Okay if your here for a repair job by my friend he is…"She paused before looking at the group seeing some familiar face. But went wide eyed before smiling at them
"Well i…i…this is quite a surprise. James didn't tell me you all where arriving which means.."she paused as they spoke up
"Uhhh yeah…sup doc nice to see you again. Can we come inside kinda cold out here"lazuli asked as a brisk wind came through making some of them shiver. As the women smiled stepping inside letting them all inside the work place right now
Once inside they saw a very clean looking workshop right now. As it impressed some seeing the advance equipment on the table. Though behind his desk right now was none other than peitro poledina who was busy talking with someone else right now. That being mariana as someone else sat on something
That being a table as plugged into her head right now was penny polidina. As they all were caught offguard by her until marina glanced up for a moment humming then down but looked confused. Then she looked up again before laughing slightly
"Well i'll be dammed…hey peitro look what my wife dragged into your shop"mariansa as the man looked up from his deks noticing some familiar faces as he gave a hearty laugh with a smile
"Maria! Ah dear your quite a sight for sore eyes….how have you been dear"peitro called out as the old women laughed
"Oh you know better i'm lucky my one friend from back then still remembers me. I thought you'd go senile or something"maria replied though soon enough penny glanced at the group studying them right now
But they where in complet shock actually seeing her alive right now. Though ruby had tears in her eyes pushing through the front seeing her smiling at her
"Penny!?"ruby called out as the cyborg girl stared at her for a moment before she unplugged herself from her table
Then she hoped off it staring at her right now as the girl smiled at her with tears herself
"Ruby!"penny cheered before wrapping her arms around her hugging her tight with a bear hug. She lifted her in the air but the silver eyed girl wheezed for air from her robotic strength
"Ughhh i…can't breath…need air….losing oxygen…robot….strenght too much"ruby said thanfkully as penny realzied her mistake letting her go with an embarrassed look on her face bowing to her to apologize
"Oh i'm so sorry for that….i um sometimes don't know my own strength right now"penny apolgiized to some surprise as a few recalled how she acted
"Okay this chick is showing alot more emotion than before. Whats with you"yang said pointing at her as peitro laughed before standing up from behind his desk as he walked over
"Ohh in due time my little girl managed to well…its hard to explain in a way. But carmine dear mind helping me"pietro asked as the women smiled nodding
"Though before i do quick introductions and…"Carmine paused before staring at one face who tried to keep hismelf hidden which was zane. But the women pushed passed some before pulling him into an embrace smiling right now.
"Its nice to see you again dear. How have you been?"Carmine said before releasing him as he looked down with a shy look on his face
"Umm uh..w-well i…um…f-fine just ummmm…"he paused staring at penny right now which the women noticed not realizing it. As the cyborg glanced in his direction before flicnhing at the sight of him before backing up a little with a scared look
"Oh um…your um…i…y-your omega…you uh…um..s-stabbed me"penny said nerovusly to some shock that she was scared of him right now.
"Wait…is…is she scared of him?"rogue questioned surprised
This made him feel upset as he noticed that. As he wanted to make amends as he removed his hood revealing his face as he stepped forward toward her. Thinking of what to do we just bowed his head as he wnated to apologize to her and her father
"I'm…i'm terrible sorry for what i did. I um…wasn't in control of my body. Thats not excuse…if you want i can leave and wait outside right now. I'm terrible sorry for what i did sir"zane apolgized from the heart
As they stood silent for a moment as the girl stared at him for a moment as suddenly a green orb appeared. That being pina who caught them offguard as the AI orb scanned him before flying around titling slightly
"Subject omega does not seem to be lying. Chimera grimm orgnaims detected on spinel cord region along with recent abrasion. All other subjects have wounds that seem to have been recent from a battle"pina stated but they had question
"Gah! What the heck is that thing?!"eden shouted in surprise right now as ruby with some other technology and weapon nerds went compelty wide eyed right now
"Oh my god! You have an AI…oh my god this thing looks advance to have its own form. I thought you where a bot….oh man this is something"Yumi said comply starry eyed surprising her boyfriend seeing this side of her as marian chuckled
"Well penny here been having some issues. But those issues would be her getting her memories back after that chip in her head was installed"marina commented confusing them hearing that
"Wait…as in she lost her memories…so this isn't the originally penny we met"blake commented but the AI construct corrected her
"Defirmative. Miss poledina was aware slightly of her surrounding but I simulated how she would act. She still has her memories that have been coming back in the last decade"pina said as penny nodded
"Yes but i…"She paused staring at the hybrid who stabbed her. Because she may be all metal she looked into his eyes as part of her told her something. Suddenly she quickly hugged him then relased to their surpirse
"But…i'll take your word for it. Though the general has informed us about the grimm parasite in your back being docile. Along with you being under mental suggestion which doctor merlot cleared"penny said to their surprise right now stunning him as he felt alot of relief hearing that. But hoped he can do something to make it up to her
"Well thats…shocking though uh we should make introductions. I'm well…summer rose"summer said stepping forward making the three go wide eyed as penny was a little late to it with a surprised face as her data banks showed who she was
"Wait…wait your…the summer rose…as in the leader of team STRQ. get out of here i thought jame was lying. Dam your a sight for sore eyes"mariana said in shock as peitro laughed slightly
"Well isn't this quite a surprise seeing you all here. Its a pleasure to meet you my daughter has told me many great things on your daughter and her friends"pietro said making the women feel happy to hear that right now
Though carmine had some questions glancing around before laying her eyes on the tiger faunus for a moment. The women looked at her for a moment as she wanted to be sure.
"Are you um…i..well…"Seh coudlnt' find the words as the old boxer sighed shaking her head
"Yeah yeah i'm the mother of this one here…along with that one over their. Shes my youngest"nadia said pointing at asani who hide behind neo but failed to since she was close to her height. While holding dawn in her arms who was shivering from the cold outside whining while turned into a small dog in her arms.
Carmine looked surprised seeing her but she had a different reaction. Instead she bowed to her getting on her hands and knees which caught them offguard hearing that. But they could hear her crying slightly
'I'm…i'm so sorry…i…i didn't want to do those experiments..i…i'm sorry i took your child away from you. I…i…they had…my babies and i…i..-"Carmine was stopped as the tiger hoisted her up to reveal some tears on her face as she sighed shaking her head guiding her to sit down
Instead of yelling or screaming at her. Because from what she gathered from her niece and those soldier this women took her adoptive son in as she sighed into a smile on her face
"You got nothing to say sorry for…the only person to blame for what happened is watts. Besides…i think i owe the women who kept my kid from getting shot in the head."nadia thanked with a smile catching her offguard hearing that right now. Though the women smiled hearing those words after all the pain she caused on those innocent people
"I…i…i..t-thank you but i'm so sorry"Carmine cried as they felt awkward being here. Though that was when neo had an idea. Gently she picked up dawn who was still shivering from the cold. But the mute walked over gently placing the grimm pet in the women lap
This surprised some seeing a dog here"huh cute dog…awww their cold you got a blanket or something pietro"marina said as the man struggled slightly walking over but his daughter took over. As she quickly grabbed a blanket from a cupboard walking over handing carmine it. As the women wrapped the pet in her arms hugging it to calm down
"Oh uh thats not a dog by the way"falk pointed out confusing them before dawn shifted to her true form still shivering cooing and whining from the cold. This caught them offguard but carmine went from crying to astonishment
"My word i….this is…is this the grimm you can control? I've never seen this type of grimm in all my life?"carmine question in complete awe of the specimen that curled into the blanket cooing and whining from the cold. Penny walked over scanning it as mariana chuckled
"You control a ball fo snot…oh…oh i thought you'd control something interesting. "Marian teased as penny finished her scan surprised
"Pina says this grimm isn't even recorded in the grimm biology books or websites. This seems to be a new species of grimm"penny stated to their surprise as rogue stepped forward with a smile
"Thats because it is….our professor peter port dubbed it the mimic"rogue siad in a dramatic fashion making her boyfreind snicker
"Oh god shes becoming like him now….i think we should break up"mercury said with sarcasm as she jabbed him in the side. Though dawn soon shifted her appearance into a baby nevermore shivering before flying onto neo shoulder roosing near her hair feeling some warmth their.
"Huh neat….though we can discuss this later. Guessing your here since your on the run from james"mariana asked but it was the opposite
"No we told him to meet us here. One of our own has had problems with their prosthetic eye…show em kid"qrow stated
Walking forward may sat in a nearby chair before lifting up her beanie revealing her prosthetic to reveal it. This surprised peitro who walked over staring at it adjusting his glasses
"My word….it does appear to be damage. Come over here onto the table we can check that out real quick"peitro said tapping the nearby table
The sniper hesitantly layed on the table to get her eye checked out. While she did soon enough he walked toward the holo computer. Peitro typed on it for a bit began a small procedure right now. The surgical tools came down staring her a little right now. Though a scanner emerged that looked like a tube scanned it
Then on his screen it showed the eye blueprints showing it to be a prototype for military snipers. But this got a surrpised look on his face as he noticed the damages on the eye.
"My word…this is interesting I recall this work of mine. You must be that girl from vacuo I made this for"pietro said to their surprise he made this
"Wait….you made my prosthetic?"may asked as he nodded shutting the machine off before giving his small report
"Indeed. It was just a simple prototype. Although seems it make you off balance since it was installed inside your optical sockets"pietro explained
"In english doc…because uhh is she going to be able to get it fixed?"cardin questioned as he had some bad news
"Unfortunaly its damaged beyond repair. But your in luck because I think i should….hmmm…"peitro paused as he walked over to several cases on a wall. The man examined them for a moment before he found what he was looking for. The man picked it up as it was small as he placed it on the table undoing it.
Inside the case they all looked in shock right now. As it showed a mechanical looking eye that had a cyan color that glowed bright. But it looked very advance, although it overjoyed them
"Wait you actually have one already made?"velvet asked excited with a huge smile happy for her
"Okay hold on….their has to be a catch to this. He gonna make us pay alot of money for this"yang stated but he looked surprised
"Well i wouldn't say that….i am a man of many things. But if james was here he'd agree to get that eye of your fixed up. I may have to get it removed at some point then surgically implant it"pietro said which made the sniper pause before smiling hugging the man
"Thank you! My parents won't have to pay alot of money for it like last time!"she cried in complete joy. But soon enough they need some answer
"Before we cotninue we need some answers. Why is the city in lock down right now along with a curfew. This wasn't here last time we came here"questioned bringing that topic up
"He right what exactly happened here?"miyuki questioned
"Ah well you well it be easier with james their. Because we have some great news for–"carmine was stopped as something sounded off
As suddenly an alarm went off along with the sound of gunfire with screaming going off outside. Glancing out neo looked to see the lamps outside going all red like they where alert. Along wih people running and scrambling away from something as she glanced at them
"Trouble….everyone outside now"mariana ordered as they all rushed out with their weapons drawn as peitro tried to stop them while penny and carmine stayed inside right now
Once they where outside someone bumped into eira for a moment making her stumble. But then they all glanced down the street seeing something shocking right now with a few atlas soldiers and atesian ak-200. Because their were three certain idnviduals right now
As dashing through the streets at blinding speeds right now was lec. The grimm knight sped through crashing through about five bots. As he picked one up dragging it onto the ground fast as its part flew off behind him as he ran. Then once he reached a lamppost he swung it launching himself into another one as he raised his claws slahsing at it cutting it down
Another one all too familiar to them was maya who had her arm back. But the stalker grimm flipped around an ak-200 as she sliced ones head off in an instant. As she raised her crossbow firing a bolt into another head destorying it as it feel to the ground
Maya then jumped onto a wall to avoid gunfire from some nearby bots. She stuck to it as she growled aiming her crossbow firing into one. Then she pressed onto the wall leaping forward straight onto another one jamming her blade into its chassis killing it
But the last one made summer back up right now because she looked horrified who she was seeing. That being the centienl knight who was getting shot at by the soilder as he tanked their bullets. Though wu extneded one arm as the centienl on his arm extended digging its maw into a soldier throat tearing it out as they fell to the ground bleeding out
While the other two kept firing at him backing up to try and get to safety. Though he snarled lunging at one grabbing him by the throat tossing him into lec direction. As the teryx hybrid grabbed the soldier mid air then stabbed his claws into his gut eviscrating him
The last soilder had the worst as wu pinned him down. Then to their horror he began to gag as his throat bugle before he puked up acid onto the soilders face. The soilder screams were muffled but acid hiss off their face burning it killing him. Wu stood up whiping his mouth as ren and nore looked shocked
"I…i…w-wu"nora said scared right now but soon lec noticed them staring them down before he began to laugh at them for a moment as he grinned at them
"Well…well..well lookie here epsilon…delta seems we found some of our targets"lec said getting the other two attention as maya stared at them growling in rage
"You!ohhh i'm going to enjoy ripping you all to shreds and bringing your heads on a spit to my mistress"maya said as wu stepped forward as his cneitnel on his arm hissed and snapped as he laughed evily at them
"Well….seems this place won't be boring after all. You pathetic meatsacks will be fun prey will i burn your corpse"wu said in an evil voice but maria looked stunned seeing her old studnet like this as she narrowed her gaze

Deciding to immediately start the fight they all started to rush in while some provided covering fire from a distance. As onxyia drew her sniper beginning to lay down covering fire at them along with weiss who summoned a few glyphs that were icy blue
As she fired a barrage of them toward lec but the grimm hybrid easily dodged and weave past them. But he wasn't the only one with a speed semblance as lazuli used her enhance speed to tackle as they collided
Resulting in the grimm hybrid to be sent flying straight into a wall as he landed on the ground picking himself up. While joining her was yang along with cardin as they drew their weapons on him but mariana called out to them
"Yo! Subdue that one he aint like the creepy crossbow chick!"she called changing their plan
"Really? This is just great….okay lets go you giant chicken"yang siad making lec snarl at her as he snapped his jaws
"I'm not some dam poultry….your going to be interesting to kill. Maybe i'll feed you to my pets"lec said evily as he launched himself in their direction
Though cardin used his semblance to bounce him back but right as he collided with it. His aura took a large hit of it making him get launched back into a wall hard right now as he groaned trying to pick hismelf up
While lazuli began swinging her sword at him several times trying to subue him. Though soon enough from above something came down screeching as from above a couple teryx emerged tyring to attack them as some of them headed them off trying to kill them before more of them came to kill them
But one of them tackled yang onto the ground as the blonde rolled for a moment. Though she didn't have time to think of anything as the grimm lunged toward her opening maw trying to bite her. Although yang quickly riasedher hands luckily catching maw but it screched as its maw slowly close on her. Notciing this was blake who went wide eyed
Blake quickly rushed over to help her girlfriend. As the cat faunus lunged forward pulling out pistol as she began to aim into its mouth recalling its weakpoints. Blake fired off a few shots into its mouth making contact with some of its organs making it cry in pain slightly.
"Ha! Nice job on teaching this chicken a –"yang was stopped as teryx broke free snapping his jaw. But luckily they got out of the way but yang noticed something. One of her guaneltn was missing as she looked at the grimm then chomped down on her guanlent as it fell to the ground. Her left gauntlet sparked a little as she growled at it
"Your so dead! My dad helped me make that!"She shotued rushing in to fight the grimm beast
Though with some of the others maya was going for some exclusively right now. The one who took her arm as she slashed at zane who blocked her strikes with his falcata swords as they got locked into a small power struggle as she growled at him
"You'll pay for taking my arm along with kiyo and jack!"maya shouted but luckily he had backup. As rushing in with a large hammer that belong to mulberry was velvet. The rabbit faunus reeled her hammer back launching her back into the hard asphalt. Maya growled looking up seeing with her was also perun along with rogue who pointed her axe at her
"Well look who it is….how you been…how about your arm"she taunted making her growl at them
Then she flicked a switch on her crossbow as a large drum mag swapped places for her magazine clip. After that she raised her hand before they figured out what she was doing
"Get down!"perun shotued as she began to fire a large amount of crossbow bolts at alarming speeds right now. As several arrows went past them landing into the ground as rogue quickly tackled velvet to the side as they landed on the ground. After some time it stopped as she growled loading in a new magazine.
"Man that was close…you good"rogue said as velvet nodded but they heard a sparking noise. Both looked down in shock to see that two bolts was in the rabbit camera which shocked her as she just lost her weapon
Though with summer the women was busy fighting her old friend. As wu kept slashing and swiping at her several times with his cneitnel arms. The grimm hybrid growled trying to snatch her up but she dodged it not even attacking. She kept delfecitng his attacks trying to call out to him
"Wu its me! Summer rose! Please stop….i know your in their old friend please!"summer pleaded but incontrol right now was upsilon who laughed at her right now
"Aww he can't hear you…mother never sent me after you until i got full control over him. He'll watch as i kill you"wu evily said but immedialty he was met by a hammer to the gut curiosity of nora who launched him into a wall hard. The man grunted falling to the ground in pain as she didn't want to do that but they needed to hold him down.
While ren drew lotus as he notched an arrow back as he ehxaled then launched an arrow into the man. Wu stood their for a moment before an arrow was lodged into his left ankle pinning him to the wall. Ren launched another pinning his right arm down making the grimm in his arm hiss in pain.
Wu growled"you'll pay for that you brat! I'll string you up by your intesines on that dam floating city!"he shouted back scaring him seeing him like this. As wu began to gag a little before he launched another stream of acid toward them
Luckily they dodged it in time but for some others it came right at them mainly being zane along with emerald. The two where busy tag teaming a tery as he held its jaws open with her tossing a grenade into its mouth. Leaping away from it the teryx looked stunned before it's body expanded blowing up
"Alright! Man…i'm so tired"emerald said but zane noticed the acid coming as he had just motled his armor off
"Watch out for the acid!"he shouted as she noticed as both of them luckily jumped back. But unlcukily one of emeralds sickle got hit as she hissed tossing it onto the ground as it began to melt. While for zane it hit both his falacata swords as they began to melt the blades to his shock.
But with maria she walked over to her old student she took under her wing slowly. As he dug the arrows out snarling sensing her but she called out to him
"Wu….wu if you are in their old friend. Its me maria…you need to fight it. Fight it"maria said calmly as the hybrid laughed walking forward smiling at her
"Hes not here…do i need to tell you that hes–"wu stopped mid sentence as he had his arm raised up to attack her. Though he started to shake a little as the man stood their for a moment as he began to struggle with each movement. While he started to push down his arm holding it on his side as someone else was in control
"M-m-maria…i…is that you?"wu called out stunning them as summer smiled quickly grabbing a syringe from her back pocket
"Wu..wu i…is that you…h-hold still we can help you…we can help you"Summer said with hope as someone very familiar called out to him also
"Wu?"ren called out stunning the man hearing that voice as despite not being able to see. He stared in the two directions like he knew they where their as he struggled into a smile. But then the man cried out in pain holding his head panting right now before it quickly settled as he growled
"Now he decides to do this! You have those dam things him and epsilon used….delta! Lota! Watch out they have those dam syringes!"wu called out but before maya could respond something flew down into the middle of their fight catching their attention. As they all looked stunned to see a women with wyvern wings right now, they might be in trouble.
"Oh come on another one!"mercury shotued but mariana chuckled whistling to the women
"Well look who decided to join us….yo dracona help us out here!"mariana called out surprising them as the wyvern knight chuckled twirling her swords. As immediately she pressed a trigger on them launching her straight into maya as the two collided. This made them shocked as the women pinned maya to the ground as the stalker grimm snarled and tried to break free from her grip
"Eplison! Take over…your dam meatsack now!"maya said but dracona laughed throwing her onto her stomach. Then she raised her sword stabbing it into her shoulder pinning her to the ground as she cried out in pain, she repeated it with the other. Dracona then raised her as she dug them into her back
This caused maya to cry out in complete pain as the other two where about to get involved. But lec shared a look with wu as the two nodded. Immediately the teryx hybrid snatch wu up as they sped off to escape from them.
Though the other watched as draocna began to rip apart maya back as several tendrils came out lashing around and trying to stab her. But dracona ignored it before seeing delta in the women back as she hissed in fear
"Oh your afraid….good time to die parasite"draocna said before ripping out the chimera grimm presenting it as it tried to escape its confinement. But dracona seqeezed hard crushing it in her hands as it let out a death screech as she killed maya.
This stunned them right now seeing one attacking another grimm knight wondering something. Was she in control?
Here we are chapter 1 down for the count! Now we saw the group reunit with penny along with another grimm knight dead right off the bat. While we saw some of their weapons get destoryed or damaged. Thanks for reading!
