Chapter 50: Checking On Each Other
Inside one of the lounge of the academy right now something was going on. That being laughter with a few of the spartans stoping by after hearing something from marrow who felt disgusted from what he heard. That mainly being bei, jenkins and merle with some unknown faces all laughing at zane who had an embarrassed look on his face
"Oh…oh you gotta be kidding me…god dam this kid slept with that many chicks in one night"jenkin said in complete joy right now hearing this
"You mean how his pelvis isn't broken and him being crippled"bei said laughing at him as some of the others were their now hearing this. With emerald covering her ears in annoyance as blake was rubbing her face disgusted their talking about this with someone in the room
"Their are children here"blake said gesturing to june, aerial,and sinna who wanted to visit the academy to play with dusk and dawn. But only dawn was in a playful mood right now with dusk sleeping on the tiger lap right now as she gently stroked his fur. As pana was their giggling

"You seem to be in proper working condition dear. You've adjusted to all your prosthetics like before along with those upgrades your father added to you"carmine said as penny smiled

Though she glanced inside the room toward the two sister seeing them struggling with something. As ruby kept pacing around mumruing to herself in worry as yang was deep in thought right now

But right now she was wearing a tatter oversized shirt with a pair of dirty grey sweatpants. As her hair was long and messed up right now. As her so called parents where at the living room table doing something. That being lines of blessing as they both were blessing addicts right now
With abby snroting a line of blessing before shaking her head feeling a rush in her skull
"God this stuff is great….though we gotta kill time with this dam weather"abby said in annoyance

As the memory was still fresh in her mind soon enough she felt someone tap her on the shoulder startling her to reality. She looked up to see it was her girlfriend staring at her with a concerned look on her face.

This upsetted ruby who took a seat next to her holding dawn on her lap. The grimm pet could sense some trouble as she hoped over into asani lap. The girl stared at ther family pet who sniffed her snuggling up against her to calm her nerves
"Maybe you should pet her to calm down right now"ruby suggested as she took her suggestion
Slowly she began to stroke the rabbit soft fur as dawn yawned slightly before nuzzling in her lap which made asani breath a sigh of relief
"You know we got this to help my brother calm down. Nows shes more like a service animal for me"asani said finding it funny
"Well thats what pets are for…when i got zwei i was very happy when he became apart of our family. Everytime i was sad he would try to help cheer me up by doing little tricks or just making sure i was okay. Despite being a dog"ruby replied as asani softly smiled at that
The two of stayed silent for a moment as neither of them spoke up to break the silence. But as they kept being silent with each other ruby decided to break it
"Are you okay…because if you want to be left alone i–"She was stopped
'No you don't need to leave i'm just….processing last night is all"Asani said as she begun
"Its just last night was so much fun spending time with you and the others. Ive…never had a normal childhood. All i know is that i get sold by my parents…then i end up in some dust mine.
