Chapter 51:A Maiden Troubles
Inside the secret research base right now arthur watts was trying to go over his plan with the others right now. But right now he hit a snag in the form of vick vest as he was on a holo call with him. Though he was giving him quite a tongue lashing right now with what happened with his daughter the previous night
"You got my daughter arrested by atlas! I thought we'd be working together not have her get taken by those dam grunts!"vick shouted on the hologram
Betty sighed rubbing her head"i told your dumb daugther to use that stupid artifact from a distance. How the hell was i suppose to know she take one of that freaks girls and hold her hostage"she asked
"You should have had men with her to make sure she didn't do that!"vick shouted with dorian scoffing at how childish he was acting
"Are you childish? Because its not our fault you couldn't handle one group of teens well they are a thorn in our side. But honestly you should have handle them far easily with your low life help'dorian said before staring at him

Back at the academy miyuki was getting ready for the museum event. As she needed to change into something more formal for the event. Luckily her and eden went shopping a month ago just for the occasion. As she sported a icy blue dress that had the side open to reveal her legs. While she wore a pair of ice blue heels.
As right now she was doing her makeup with assistance from her friends. She was applying eyeshadow that was icy blue in color. With her was eden,neo along with leah who was in the middle of packing up miyuki canvas in a protective case to keep it safe from the elements
"Alright i think this should do it…how do i look?"miyuki asked
The mute stared at her before zipping around her examining her current look. To her it looked decent for tonight sfeisigites as she got the mutes seal of approval. A thumbs up

As they did mariana lagged back a little before eyeing someone close by the others didn't notice. That being her wife who shared a worried look with her right now

They took a shuttle to the art show that was located on the floating city. It didn't take them long as they soon arrived at their desiantion just landing right outside of it. As miyuki stepped off with a surprised look on her face seeing where they were

Miyuki looked amazed by the sight of it"whoa…i…my grandma showed me some of her work. But wow"she said in awe of it
"Indeed..though the show will be starting soon. The contest is fairly simply we will call upon your name and you will present your piece to the judges. Their are eight others involved i wish you the best of luck. Enjoy the orderves"hai said as he left them with livi walking away elsewhere with her head held high
As silence happened again with kendra snickering"oh man i can't believe that dumb brat thought you complimented her"she said
Neo giggled"i know right though…is it me or does this painting kinda look similar to yours"she signed as she got a good look at it

"Eh its interesting though…nice drawings kid"mariana said gesturing to the girl work from the gala as leah felt embarrassed now. With eden and neo sharing a look then stared at her
"You better get rid of that or i'm burning it soon"eden warned with neo pretending to flick a match then blew it out

Soon enough after waiting the contestants took the stage for the competition as they were infront of the whole gallery right now waiting to be judged. As judging them was hai along with leah and two random art critiques it seems. Hai then explained the rules
"You know the rules we'll rate your pieces of work and we shall declare the winner. Now contestant please reveal your work for tonight event"hai said
Miyuki swallowed hard pulling her canvas up placing it on display showing off her art work. With livi pulling her up as it showed a someone in lavish attire planting their boot on someone with dog ears with a chain wrapped around their throat. As it bother their group but it didn't bother the atlas upperclass it seems. Then the judge began to ask them question on what the other contestants art pieces where called along with their inspiration
As it got to livi hai asked her"so my dear what do you call this?"he asked

As eden growled as her blood boiled ready to throw a mini sandwhich at her buy koyo stopped her. Then it got to miyuki as leah decided to ask her
'What do you call this?"she asked as the girl exhaled to explain
"Well i um…i call it the seasonal maidens. I had well inspiration from the old fairy tale about the four seasonal maidens."miyuki said as some laughed at that right now on how childish it was with livi laughing at her but she cotninued
'Though i figured that i should depict each of the four kingdoms. Since each of them do represent a season. I thought it would suit the tone i was going for."miyuki added peeking the judge interest
After about thirty minutes the judges started to eliminate most of the contestants as it soon left livi and miyuki on the stage. The pompous brat held her head high knwoing she will win as the judged discussed the possible winner. As hai cleared his throat to announced the winner
"We've discussed it with each other and well….i think we know who the winner for this is already"hai said taking the stage as livi closed her eyes waiting for her hand to be raised. But instead of her it was miyuki
"Miss pearson is declared the winner for tonights event"he announced as the gallery all erupted into cheers that echoed the hall. With livi jaw dropping in shock as she growled stepping off the stage as she destroyed her art work snapping it in half in complete rage.

Meanwhile with pyrrha and the others this maiden was walking over to the grand opening of the garden center right now. With her was ruby, rogue, asani, jaune,penny. Along with nadia who brought dusk with them as the grumpy grimm pet was laying inside ruby hood sound asleep right now. Their was also marrow and hairrett their for back up since robyn and caine will be their for tonight

All of them with their limbs chopped off like an animal attacked them
But with arthur he smiled as he waved his hands around as suddenly the screen behind pyrrha turned on. Because to her horror it shows her something that being her…going through the entire hall masscreing everyone with a smile on her face right now to her complete shock. As the crowd all looked at it immediately pinning the blame on her

"We gotta go now….were gonna have grimm in the city. We gotta get back to base"hariett ordered as penny came down with a stunned look as jaune rushed to pyrrha picking her up
"Pyr come on…come on we need to go"jaune said dragging her away as tears ran down her face on what just happened. Because she was being labeled as a monster infront of the kingdom of atlas right now
