Chapter 59: Flee
With the others right outside of the academy right now all of them were tired. Though luckily once they were outside they were met by a squadron of atlas spartans right now with the first approaching them being grinch as he walked by their side
"Well aren't you all a sight for sore eyes right now. Let me guess you get the word from the commander?"Grinch asked
"We did you do as i told you on the radio. Bring the mantas for us to take down to mantle"miller asked as he nodded
"Marco got filled in on what was happening. We got them but right now we don't got alot of time i spotted vice vest roaming the streets of mantle. Along with that we still got tons of civlains down their"grinch replied
"Shoot….then we gotta regroup with pana and her group to come up with a plan"mariana said as she handed nadia off to some medics as they carried her off to a nearby manta loading her up onto it. As cardin looked surprised by all of these spartans being here right now
"I'm surprised most of you guys are here right now"cardin replied with sarah laughing at that
"Our company is loyal to atlas but we listen to one women. That being the commander along with the captain here"sarah said as she split off talking to some other spartans. As their was also students out here seeking from medical aid from them with even a few of them boarding their mantas to join them. As ruby kept scanning for an available manta before laying her eyes on one
"Can one of you take us to the command center we need to get their to grab miyuki and my mom. Salem can;t get their hands on them"ruby said as miller stared at her nodding
"I'll come with you kiddio the commander is their and her daughter gotta see her come back. "Miller said gesutring to someone being loaded up into a ship right now. That being cythia but she had wounds all over her body with medics working double time to treat her wounds right now
Ruby nodded quickly sprinting to a nearby manta with weiss joining her along with adam and persia as well. All of them quickly boarded the manta as it engines started to take off before roaring as they flew back toward the main command center to save the maidens
Once they were gone hariett stared at the academy for the others narrowing her gaze for a moment.
"I don't like how they haven't came out yet….i'm heading back inside to grab them. Along with any other stragglers"hariett said about to speed off but bonnet held her arm back staring at her
'Give them three minutes okay…please i….it'll be fine i'm sure"bonnet said as the women stared at her for a moment. Before she broke away speeding off into the academy to go find them and make sure they get back safe.
But early inside the academy with them they were sprinting through the academy halls trying to find anyone inside the academy right now alive. But they were still unable to find them except for more bodies which didn't make razma feel great seeing familiar faces dead in their own dorm rooms right now.
Though along the way they fought against some talon forces and cleared the students to get free. While they kept sprinting through the winding halls of the academy praying they find the others right now
"Man where the heck are they…i'm getting worried right now"nora said holding magihild out as penelope sighed
"Dear if you keep worrying it'll make things worse. We need to find them then leave if what you told me on the way here is important. We can't let them take the nikos girl"penolope said as they trusted her enough to tell her that pyrrha was the fall maiden which she believed instantly.
"Well lets hope we find them along with the others right now"jaune said as they rounded a corner. Before they found one of the missing people in their ground hanging from one of the rafters. That being ivori as wrapped around his own neck was his whip
This startled them as razma covered her face shaking her head seeing that right now fighting the urge to cry. But lazuli shushed her on it sighing placing a finger on her earpiece but forgot it wasn't working still
'Dammit i forgot comms are down….i..we can't take him…we'll wait to tell flynt and neon about him okay"lazuli said as they nodded though the sound of gunfire drew their attention as it sound very close
"That sounds like…ren weapons….come on"jaune said sprinting forward as they followed him
They ran for a few seconds before turning the corner to see something right now. That being pyrrha, mercury and ves fighting with someone right now. That being dorian along with a couple remaining talon soldiers right now. As they were invovled in a brutal brawl with the grimm knight right now
With mercury rushing forward firing off several shots from his legs to try and defeat him. While he did dorian skin was too tough as it was blocked several times by his forearms. His coat was torn from all their fighting as he held a rapier in his right hand which was his signature weapon. With a large case strapped to his back it seems
"Hmph pathetic for a coward i thought you'd be more willing to live"dorian said as mercury panted slightly spitting to the side as sweat beated down his face
"And i*pant* remember you always talking with hazel…about literature….nut case"mercury retorted
As the man glared at him through his mask as mercury tried to attack him again. But this time as he broguth his leg down. Dorian caught him by his thigh as he glanced behind him seeing the others where their. Then he pulled back his leg throwing him straight into a wall next to them as his aura frizzled out giving out on him as he groaned slumping down to the side
"Merc!"perun called out as the metal legged assassin was alright but they looked as pyrrha was their panting right now. As she was finishing off a talon soldier by kicking them in the jaw but she was exhausted right now from all this fighting with sweat dripping off her body.
Because everytime she tries to hit him all he does it tank her hits. Then he just backhands them or mocks them by quoting literature.
"Pyr…pyr your okay….how are you doing?"jaune asked standing beside her as she swallowed hard whipping the sweat off her forehead
"Hes been trying to grab me the entire time….although….early we found him fighting with team BLSM. they ummm…"she paused looking to her right startled still by something. That being a pile of soldiers with some studnets and teachers in the mix. But right now infront of it were the three members of team BLSM all dead from the grimm knight
They noticed them as razma hated them but not that bad for them to be dead
Vesa was knocked over right infront of them as she coughed hard from his hit. As dorian turned his attention toward them laughing
"Well isn't this interesting more pitiful and weak combatants. I wonder why is that?"he asked
"Maybe because you attacked the academy and wasted our energy…now…where is oscar"nora asked gripping her hammer tight as he hummed for a moment. As he glanced at something right now that being oscar who layed their on the ground groaning as he easily punched him with one hit to the gut and he was down
Dorian sighed at the sight of him"ahhhh ozma current reincarnation. Very weak in my opinion the last ones i heard from my queen where alot more powerful."dorian mockingly said with lazuli drawing her sword at the ready staring at the group.
"Guys wheres the relic?"lazuli questioned as they got quiet before staring at where it was. That being clipped to dorian hip shrunken down which razma noticed going wide eyed laughing nerovusly
"Oh shit the elephant guy has the magic lamp…..were so dead"razma said as they all saw that right now. But jaune quickly thought of something as he stared at vesa for a moment who stared at him
"If your asking if i got enough juice left for one more go…i do….gonna need more plants."vesa replied panting
"Well where we gonna get those?"perun replied
"We sent ren to do not that long ago….but he must have ran into trouble"mercuyr replied worrying his teammates but dorian sighed getting bored of all of this right now
"If you won't fight me lay down and die"dorian said with the two remaining talon operative readying their swords with one carrying a pair of combat knives. As they stared him down before jaune called out to them
"Stall them for when ren get here then we can kill him!"jaune called out as they all broke off to fight against the grimm knight right now
As dorian tried to intercept one of them but surprisingly penelope was very fast for her age. Because she drove her sword straight into his gut before slicing it slightly dealing some damaged. He tried to swing at her but she hoped backward as the man noticed she did some damage to him as he huffed
"Try harder vermin"dorian said lunging forward with his rapier trying to stab her a few times. But she side stepped one of his sword strikes along with returning a few slashes back to him dealing some minor damage. Along with that she drove her sword into his leg yanking it out quickly panting for a moment shaking off the sweat on her face smiling
"This will be an interesting brawl between me and you….because i the daughter of peter port will not lay down and die"penolope said as the man scoffed
"God your that old coger daughter i forgot that caveman ha–"he was stopped by something her own fist punching him square in the jaw
As he tried to monolgoue again dorian went flying straight into a wall catching jaune and nora offguard seeing that. As they planned to assist her in this fight as they stared at the daughter of professor port right now with an anger look in her eyes
"You will never call my father that again!"penalope shouted
Mercury chuckled slightly with perun hoisting him to to his feet to get him out of here
'Funny….maybe that old guy wasn't extergting on him being a tough huntsman"mercury said as he was taken away to get some medical aid right now. With vesa trying to conserve her remaining aura for one last hit.
Dorian began to pick himself up from the rubble right now dusting himself off for a bit. As his mask was broken to reveal his face as he stared down at the mask sighing as he shook his head at them
"That was a handmade gift from salem….for shame you destroyed such a wonderful gift"dorian said taunting them
"Oh i'll give you a gift my hammer in the side of your skull!"nora shotued as the three got prepared to brawl with each other again.
With lazuli she was busy tangoing with another one of these talon goons right now. The one with the sword unfortunately as they swung at her seeming much quicker than the rest of them guessing this one might have a speed semblance like her as she didn't want to rely on it right now
She immediately lunged forward stabbing her sword forward tryng to pierce them. But immediately the talon operative dodged her attemtped strike slashing at her back dealing massive amount of damage to her aura right now
The thief stumbled with the operative laughing"i heard rumors on you being a thief….guess you aren't that skill girl"she taunted sounding female as she growled
"oh i'll show you skilled"lazuli muttered
Immedialty she turned around before lunging forward upward slashing at the operative. As she stumbled for a bit regaining her footing. But she decided to fight dirty as she fired an explosive crossbow bolt right onto their foot which they noticed
The operative bent down yanking the bolt out tossing it away just in time. The explosion went off as it sent the oeprative on the ground knocking her sword out of her hand as she groaned shaking her head picking herself up. But immediately was met by lazuli driving her sword into their thigh making them grunt in pain
"Time to not play fair"lazuli said before getting ontop of her digging her elbow into their back hard making them grunt in pain. As she fired a crossbow bolt into the operative knee then the right foot after that she fired one into her hands making the women cry out in complete pain with blood starting to appear right now
Lazuli stood up panting heavily as the operative growlwed trapped underneath the bolts right now.
With razm she was busy doding the knife slashes from the operative. But they sliced upward cutting her top a little revealing alot more of her clevage. She wouldn't mind doing that right now but now wasn't the time as she quickly dodged another hit
"Hey the only one that can touch my chest are my girlfriends and boyfriend. "Razma said as the operative laughed
'Your the genetic failure whore….you've been marked for capture as bait"the oepraitve said lunging forward to try and stab her again. Though she activated her semblance going invisible which surprised the operative. They looked around for any sign of her unable to find her anywhere right now
"Where did you–"they were stopped before they felt something hard hit the back of their head. Razma remerge holding her revolver out staring at them for making that comment early
"I'm not a whore…i'm just pervy"razma said
With jaune and nora along with penelope. Nora gave a mighty war cry swinging her hammer straight into dorian side barley making a scratch. As the goliath knight backhanded her back into a wall hard as she winced holding her side right now. With him pointing his rapier at her ready to pierce her heart
But jaune rushed in activating the gravity burst on his shield. As he fired it straight into dorian sending him back a bit but he stopped to a halt due to his large size as he scoffed at heir feeble attempts to fight now
"You all can't kill me….unlike the rest of my siblings i've geneitcal modified myself over the years even further. Along with the hide of goliath you'll have a tough time killing my chimera…isn't that right omicron"dorian said as a voice was in his head
"Yes….kill them for our queen then take the boy…he'll make her happy"omicron said in his head sounding decrypt
Dorian raised his hand to try and slash at jaune but suddenly an arrow was shot into the man hand where he was holding his sword. Glancing up at a second level jaune looked up smiling to rne their carrying something on his hip a pouched filled with flowers
"Alright ren!"lazuli shouted out as he began to notch arrow in his bow string. This arrow was a rope arrow as he fried it into a wall but it was coated in something. That being plants that he took from team VRML room. As he kept firing them into the wall creating a canopy above them full of arrows
Dorian growled trying to grab the case off his back but penelope sliced at him stopping him dead in his tracks
"Oh no you don't your not using that whatever that case is on your back to fight"penaolope said slashing at him reeaptly as this was stunning him right now. As once ren was done he hoped down rolling into standing right infront of them as vesa smiled at him
"Hey you made it….hey you uh grab uh.."she was stopped as gobi peeked out from behind ren hair smiling at her with a tongue out making her smile
But she got up struggling slightly but she began to channel into her semblance right now. As she focused on the plants above her as they began to all move down onto dorian right now. All of them began to wrap around the man right now holding him in place as his arm got pulled up. Along with one of his legs being pulled apart right now. This made the man stand still although as they were ready to engage jaune was being pulled back from ren to his confusion
"Ren…ren what are you doing we can stop him"jaune said but he didn't get those plants to kill him it was to slow him down
"Jaune…we tried to early and it didn't work. His back is protected by metal that was implanted into his back. We need to grab oscar and leave"ren said as razma stared at him shaking her head
"No…no i am not leaving another teammate to die…not again…your not going out like matu ves"razma said
But her leader and partner stared at her right now before spitting up blood forcing a smile on her face as she smiled at her
"I'm not going to make it raz…i…he got both my lungs…it hurts to breath right now even. I…i volunteered for this…g-get out of here"vesa begged as she tried to go forward but pyrrha held her back with her remaining strength.
"No…no…no! I can't lose another another teammate not again!"razma cried out loud but tearfully pyrrha dragged her away from the sight right now with nora sharing a look with ren who looked away as he ran after them. As lazuli zipped over grabbing oscar carrying him now as they began to run. As jaune and nora were leaving penelope stared at the man before narrowing her gaze
"You kids go ahead…i'll slow him down for you. Don't even think about arguing with me go now"penalope said as they hesitated for a momnet running away from the sight as she was ready to face down the monster before her right now
As they ran down the hall to catch up with the others they saw them all stopped for one good reason. That being two talon soldiers staring them down with javi their pointing a pistol at them as jaune raised his shield at the ready
"Get out of our way we don't have time to deal with you"jaune said as javi stared them down for a momen then shared a look with lazuli. Before they knew it suddenly he fired a shot at them but instead it went into the talon soldier head catching the other offguard
"What-"the soldier was stopped as swiftly he shot him in the head dead as he fell to the ground dead which caught them offguard as he stared at them
"I don't owe you anymore kid…get the hell out of here."javi said taking a different hallway as they were stunned before staring at lazuli for a moment
"Guess you being a criminal comes in handy"nora said. Though soon enough oscar slowly woke up groaning awake as his eyes opened as he stared at them seeing the hallways where still red as he went wide eyed
"Oh no…guys we need to find the relic they have the relic we–"he was stopped by them
'Oscar its too late…we can't fight anymore we need to get out"jaune replied but soon enough hariett came speeding in seeing them as she sighed in relief right now
"Found you kids….i got crosby and black out but uh….where vesa?"hariett questioned seeing them with sorrowful looks as gobi was on razma soldier as the magcian fought the urge to cry as she understood
"Were leaving and regrouping with the gravekeepers…come on"hariett said as they all began to run out of the academy. But as they ran away oscar stared down the path toward the vault wanting to do something as he split off from the rest of the group to try and do something right now
Right as they spritned outside they rushed to the nearest avaible manta just in time. As on their tail right now was a squadron of talon soldiers firing at them. Though the manta they boarded had rogue on a chaingun as she smiled before flipping the latches on it before grinning like she was happy
"Eat this scumbags!"rogue shotued before firing a swarm of bullets at them causing the soilders to take cover. With her laughing in joy right now being able to fire one of these things at something right now. While she did hariett got to the front of the cockpit
"Punch it!"hairett shouted as the co pilot fired up the ignition as they began to leave the academy. With a couple spartans providing cover fire from the manta. As they began to fly away with them in the manta was velvet, zane, cardin, emerald and mercury with perun. But as they sat their razma sat on a seat crying her eyes out which some noticed
Then velvet stared at them as nora looked down"Vesa didn't make it….or ivori…along with "nora sadly said as the rabbit just leaned over hugging her tight to calm her nerves. As they began to fly away hairett looked at the group doing a head count but noticed someone mising
"Wheres oscar!"hairett shouted as they all went wide eyed not even seeing the farmhand right now expecting the worst to come.
Back inside the atlas command center right now artemis and summer where moving through the facility right now. With her spartans infront of her they were busy trying eo evucate the facility but it proved rather harder than expected.
As their were dead bodies litering the grounds of the facility along with that their were scorch marks on the ground. While they kept moving around artemis was startled these were the powers of a maiden as she dreaded what they may run into .
"Jeez this…this is messed up i can't believe one person did all this"paddy commented
"I don't think one person did all of this because it would make no sense for one of them to just do this"summer replied confusing them
"How would you know?"rico signed quickly
Summer then gesuted to something on the ground that being a talon soldier. With a scapel drove into their neck as they could only guess who killed them. But artemis knelt down patting them down for a radio
"Where are you…where their you are"artemis said pulling a radio up as it had static before some voices came on the other end
"Dammit! We can't get into the vault with the maiden that dam genetic freak is killing us!"a talon soilder said on the other end making them go wide eyed thinking of one person here.
"Holy shit….guess that violet chick is still on our side"jenkins joked but artemis drew her weapon that being a customized desert eagle with an arrow engraved on the barrel along with having a black rubber grip on it
"She may not last that much longer….if thantatos is weak with her maiden powers. She may still kill her or turn her against us"artemis said as they began to keep running through the faicltiy right now to find dracona and the others. With summer contemplating on using her eyes or something else right now
Inside the research facility right now where the medical ward right now. Inside the room the door was slightly left open as right now eden was returning fire on the talon soldiers. As their were alot of them as a few guards where with them firing at the soilders. But one got shot down killing them making leah yelp as they fell down to the ground dead
"This sucks!"leah shouted in fear
But winter was their though she wasn't looking that good right now. As she had banaged wrapped around her right arm that was heavily bleeding right now. With a large bruise on her face that was starting to swell right now, her lip was busted as held a pistol in hand trying to lift it
But miyuki stopped her though as she did she coughed for a moment panting
"Stay down your hurt"miyuki begged
Winter growled"you heard what rose said the general and ace ops are compromised…i need to get you out of here before she takes you"winter said
"Well at least we have this chick backing us up"eden commented toward someone that being dracona
As the grimm knight was on their side as she dashed forward doding and weaving through the gunfire. While she dawned her old grimm knight armor as bullets bounced off the hard metal with her leaping forward into one of the soldier. She drove her sword into their chest stabbing them straight in the heart killing them
A soilder with a fire axe brought their axe up swinging straight into her soilder making her grunt in pain. The parasite wasn't letting her numb the pain anymore as she quickly swiped at their throat with her hands. This resulted in their throat being slit as they choked on their blood
Three of them raised their assault rifle to shoot her down. But eyeing a nearby piece of metal she dove grabbing it using it as a makeshift shield. The bullet started to come down hard on her but the makeshift shield worked pretty well. The soldier kept firing at her as one tried to radio bonnie though they were scared because they might get hurt if she comes here.
With that small hint of pause draocna then strike as she gave a mighty roar tossing the wall straight into them. It impact one of them as it went sideway with the other two ducking. Though as the third soldier stood their slowly they began to slide in half as the monotum cut the soldier down in half
Before the other two could react two swords where drove into their skulls curiosity of dracona. As the women stood up panting before looking at the carnage before her. Several crimson talon bodies lined the hallway as she stared at the medical room
"Thats all of the talon dead"dracona said as eden peeked out laughing slightly
"Dam were so lucky your on our side right now"eden commented as the two soldiers stepped out to observe their surroduning
"Yeah though….anyone else confused on that order we just got?"the soldier asked as some of the soilders in atlas found this new order confusing
"You mean how were suppose to execute our own commanding officer here. Fat chance schnee goes turncoat. Ma'am what are your orders?"the soldier asked as the ones in the faiclity where apart of her own battalion
Winter tried to pick herself up but zoomin in just in time was penny. The cyborg looked startled by their surrounding but looked at winter going wide eyed
"Winter"penny called out rushing over to her aid helping her up but winter cried out in pain. As she felt one of her ribs move since she tried to hold off talon forces by herself for a long time.
"God we need to get you to a doctor or jaune"leah said
But winter stared at miyuki who kept coughing and coughing seeing her to be more important than her right now
"No…penny you need to get miyuki out of here….they can't have her….none of them can. She needs to be somewhere safe"winter said making the girl go wide eyed at that
"But…but you'll die…i…you have a family…you need to be their for them"penny argued but the women shook her head
"I understood my risk because….oh no"winter said as they looked down to see someone down the hall right now. They all looked to see bonnie their with a flaming eye around her eye. As she carried a flame sword staring them down with a smile right now on her face.
"Well here we are…..i was wondering why my soldiers kept shouting over the radio on something killing them. So dracona"bonnie said but the wyvern scoffed
"Shut up….i know who you are bonnie or should i call you by your real name. Mari"dracona asked making bonnie stop in her tracks. As flashes came into her mind as her time as mari thantatos making her grunt in pain as she held her head
Which leah noticed wondering something was she one of this witch puppets.
Dracona smiled under her mask before sharing a look with penny right now as the grimm hybrid nodded to her right now.
"I need you to protect them we should be getting reinfrocmenets soon"dracona said drawing her swords. But six swords soon joined her side glancing at penny who had two by her side as she raised one of her hands charing a lazer blast
"I can provide covering fire and backup."penny nodded as she returned it. Then she stared the maiden down who shook off that blasted memories as she growled drawing two fire swords. As she quickly dashed forward raising both her swords slicing at dracona.
But the grimm knight was much quicker than her rising both her swords then in unsion slashed at her. While this did some damage on bonnie she growled swinging her grimm hand at her slicing at dracona armor chipping it slightly. With her growling as she pressed a button on one of ther swords
It ignited into an ice hue but bonnie coudln't exactly wait for an attack. As six swords came flying into her as she did her best to block them. But two of them managed to attack her with one of them slciing at her grimm arm causing her immense pain as she creid out from that hit
"Seems your just like me with my grimm parts…their easily hurt with no aura to protect them"dracona taunted
"Shut up! Shut up! I'll bring my queen the winter maidens powers because their mine!"bonnie shouted sounding deranged now as she concenrtated a fireball into her hand. She fired it at dracona but raising the blade cover in ice it disappeared to bonnie surprise right now
Then before she knew it dracona dashed forward upwarding slash at her sending her back a bit. As bonnie landed she needed to rethink her strategy as a sword came in to try and stab her. She quickly got it to their surprise as she began to melt it in thin air as she smiled at them
"My turn"bonnie said before concentrating into her semblance. As a rune appeared infront of as slowly emerging from it was a brute of a skeleton carrying a large axe in hand as it roared before brining the axe down on dracona
Who narrowly dodged the strike. But this result in her being left open as bonnie drew her katana dashing forward as she sliced at the wyvern wings slicing them compelled off her back. This caused dracona immense pain but she gritted her teeth punching the women back.
Although bonnie then sent her undead summon straight after penny as the bot riased her hand. She began to charge up her blast before firing it off as it imapcted the skeleketon head luckily sending it off as it started to crumple to the ground. Though that was bonnie plan as she lunged forward grabbing penny by her head holding her in the air as she smiled
"Die you miserable bot."bonnie said but penny glared at her before gripping onto her grimm arm
"I'm….not…a bot!"penny shouted igniting her jet boots before firing them off direclty into her face causing bonnie to be burned by the flames causing her immense pain right now. As bonnie dropped her to the ground dracona tried to sneak up behind her though bonnie noticed her coming at her as she quickly fired a fireball into the hybrid sending her flying straight through a wall hard crashing through the metal
The two soldier tried to attack her but immedialty she sliced one down swiftly with her katana and the other she stabbed her grimm arm killing them. Then she stared at the four before her as leah shook at the sheer sight of her with miyuki trying to concentrate into her maiden powers but eden tried to stop her
"Miyuki don't!"eden shotued but she did as the two blue flames actived on her eyes. Using her power she smacked her hand on the ground with a glyph glowing underneath bonnie as it shot uwpard creating a wall of ice right now but bonnie laughed as she missed
"You missed! Ohhhh why doesn't she want you to use your powers…why is that?"bonnie aksed as miyuki released her powers coughing hard right now as she panted heavily because she felt weak from using that which bonnie noticed. She didn't even need to kill her she can just bring her to the vault right now and they can open it
This made her laugh as she twirled her katana"this will be easy"bonnie said but someone spoke up from behind her
"No it won't…..burn!"summer shouted before looking behind her going wide eyed. As summer eyes flashed bright as she tried to cover herself but the white light engulfed her quickly. Slowly the light died down as it revealed bonnie grimm arm desotryed hissing steam as she screamed out in complete pain holding her skul right now in complete pain
"You…you….your going to pay….i'm going to kill you!"bonnie shouted but summer smirked drawing her scythe at the ready staring her down
"Nice try your weak to my eyes….seems we'll ge the other fall maiden powers afterall"summer said scaring her seeing her eyes again
As she looked around for a moment she saw something that being dracona picking herself up from the rubble right now. As she stared at the collar on her neck before smiling. Dashing forward summer and the others prepared for her to attack them but instead she dahsed past them as jenkins went wide eyed
"Violet watch out!"he called out but it was too late
When dracona looked up immediately she heard the sound of metal being torn off. Then release from her neck was the collar situated around her neck as she went wide eyed. Because soon a voice started to return laughing at her
"I'm back! I'm going to have fun making you kill them meat sack!"eplison cheered in her head as dracona cried with tears starting to form
"No…no…no…i don't want to go back..i don't want to go back!"dracona cried out in fear as bonnie smiled before lifting her hand up to a wall. Using her rmeianing strength she fired off a blast blowing up the wall completely that lead to the outside. Then she stared at them smiling
"Have fun dying her vermin….my soilders are coming along with faraday. Though i'll take her to appease my queen"bonnie said before grabbing dracona by the arm jumping out of the building taking her away as summer tried to to stop her firing her hunting rifle off but she missed as she silently cursed
"Dammit….dammit! What do we do she just took back dracona we gotta save her"Eden said
"No…we can't what we need is an escape plan right now"paddy said as soon enough a familiar person called over their scroll right now
"Winter are you their! We see a hole in the command center is that you!"weiss asked as winter slowly reached for her scroll but leah picked it up answering it
"Weiss! Oh thank god i….we need help winter hurt and…and…they got dracona…bonnie got her"leah said as it was silent for a moment
"Thats…fine…we'll meet you their"weiss said as soon enough by the hole in the wall a manta flew up. As stepping out was persia along with adam rushing out assisting eden on carrying miyuki into the manta right now. With the spartans with them saluting their commander as artemis stepped forward with a worried look
"Where is my daughter?"artemis asked
"Shes safe ma'am but she procured several injuries while in the academy. We lost alot of the students…i'm sorry"the spartan apoligzed but she shook her head as she boarded the manta. Weiss rushed over to her sister shocked as she gently hugged her.
"Come on winter we need to go….mom will kill me if we leave you here. "Weiss said trying to pick her up but could't as she tried pulling on winter arm she cried out in complete pain. This made her let go
Winter panted as she swallowed hard"no…no you need to go…i'll just slow you down…tell mom and our siblings i love them okay"she said but summer scoffed walking over hosting her up wrapping an arm around her bodie as she got on her two feet.
"Thats not going to happen….come on where getting you out of here. No more unnecessary scarfieces right now"summer said as she walked over to the manta as they began to board it. Penny stepped onboard closing the door behind them as they did persia stared at them for a moment
"Wait….wheres and doctor merlot?"persia asked
"We couldn't get to them….too many talon soldiers were going that way….they…might have not made it"artemis replied sadly as they all began to fly away to escape the command facility
But right now inside the vault with ironwood still under lamia control. As the grimm knight stared at the vault door knowing only the winter maiden can claim it she growled pacing around waiting for her allies to assist her.
"Where are you….dammit where are you"lamia said but suddenly a dinging noise could be heard. This drawed her attention as coming down the elevator was oscar as the grimm knight stared at him for a moment before smiling under her mask on who that was because of the cane
"The mighty ozpin….or by your first name ozma. You have so many my mistress always talked about how much she hated you. She'll be here soon maybe"lamia taunted but he raised his cane staring her down
"Let the general go right now….if you don't i'll…ummm…"oscar paused as the women stared at him smiling right now. As she stared at her new plaything before whistling to him
"Kill the boy….now"lamia ordered as the general drawed one of his revolver pointing it toward oscar. The farmhand looked scared as he expected him to shoot him right here and now. But as he did ironwood hand seemed to shake before he fired at him. This hit oscar straight through his aura as he toppled over the edge falling.
But as he did he saw ironwood mouth something to him"Run"he mouthed as he began to pulmate down the pit straight down to atlas now as he fell through the world.
With the others all around atlas right now in one of them yang and blake were on a manta right now flying down into the city holding each other hands. With onxyia their being hled by may wondering if everyone will be okay. As in another manta jaune stared out the window worried for where oscar might be right now hoping he was safe
But in the manta flying away from the miltary base medics where working on winter. But she refused care pointing toward miyuki who agreed beginning to treat her but rico insisted on treating her still with their minimal medical suppiles on hand right now.
But in the snowy tundra still robyn was cradling qrow lifeless bodie as soon enough a prison transprot ship came. She looked up seeing betty their smiling without her mask as two talon soldiers forced the women on her feet. Along with them taking qrow bodie for further use. While elsewhere in the command center
More importnalty the prison cells was scar who looked up smiling as opening his cell door was adder. Along with opening the ones for jacque and veronica as the women smiled hugging her father right now. As they were free with new prisoners soon to replace them.
But more improtnalty right outside the city right now their were constant red lighting that revealed a strange silhouette in the storm clouds. As slowly making their way into the city now was salem herself who smiles confidently on her subordinates plan right now. While she did bonnie looked at dracona who was now in the control of epsilon right now bowing to her as a sign of respect it seems
But right now falling through the world of atlas as the kingdom will soon be in ruin from the queen of the grimm was oscar. As he kept falling forever it seems like he was in a pit but with half open eyes his cane fell beside him. Though as he began to close a voice called out to him making him open his eyes.
With that we close another chapter in the books for this series. Volume 8 may be getting work done soon but this was a pretty tough chapter to come up with right now. But now we will see them next time fighting to save the general and the ace ops along with atlas kingdom from salem. Thanks for reading!
