"Astrid dear, Open your eyes. Here's a blood bag. Drink it, please." I heard a voice I recognized as my brother Elijah.
"Little sister. Come on. We are all awake." Rebekah said as she touched my hand.
"Astrid, wake up and stop playing games." Finn said in an annoyed tone.
"I will tickle you, little star." Kol said as he moved toward me.
"Kol I will never hug you again. If you tickle me. Now give me that stupid whoever this blood bag is. I'm hungry. Then you're going to tell me how long I've been asleep."I said as I sat up.
"No, remain calm little star." My brother Kol said as he handed me a bag with blood in it.
"Tell me. Then I'm going to find Nik and slap him." I said after I finished the bag.
"Around 900 years. We've been daggered for 900 years. " Finn said as he looked at me annoyed.
" I'm going to go back out there with Mr. Salvatore. You'll know when to come out." Elijah said as he walked out the door with who I'm assuming is Mr. Salvatore.
"Go ahead, kill me. I know you'll do it when he brings the coffin." I heard a voice yell.
"You really have given up, haven't you, huh? Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?" Niklaus yelled back in frustration.
"Arghh!" The man groaned in pain. What was my brother doing?
"Elijah? Why haven't you left?" Niklaus asked.
"Well, where are your manners, brother? You forgot dessert." Elijah said smugly.
"What have you done? What have you done?" Niklaus asked in a worried tone. Oh, he better be worried. 900 years! Why the hell was I kept in a coffin for 900 years?
"See, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now." Elijah said and I knew it was the signal. I was going to go last.
"Kol." Niklaus said as Kol sped towards him.
"Long time, brother." Kol says mockingly.
"Finn, don't!" Niklaus says as Finn stabs him. "Rebekah!"
"This is for our mother." Rebekah says as she stabs Niklaus in the stomach.
"You're free to go. This is family business." Elijah says looking over his shoulder at the two men. I watched as they ran out.
"Astrid love." Niklaus says, looking at me.
"Don't Astrid Love me Niklaus. You kept me in a coffin for 900 years. You did the same to Finn. What I want to know is why? Did you not love me as much as the others? Is it because I can still do magic? Why brother? Why?" Why do you hate me so?"
"I'm sorry Star…" Niklaus goes to say but I cut him off.
"No!" I screamed and the glass on the table and some picture frames shattered. "Don't you ever call me that! Henrik and Kol are the only ones allowed to call me that." I yelled at him from Kol's arms.
"Astrid, Finn, I did it to protect you. Finn, you hated what we've become. You detested your whole being. Astrid, you were still grieving Henrik and were basically starving yourself. You refused to eat until you absolutely had to. You were torturing yourself. His death wasn't your fault Astrid. It was mine. I took him out to see the wolves. It was killing me that you were blaming yourself and torturing yourself. I was worried that if Mikeal found us you would let yourself be killed. Because of your grief. I didn't want to lose another sibling. I don't care that you can still do magic. It makes us more alike that way. We're both not just normal Vampires. We're both hybrids. You're a witch whereas I am a wolf. There's not a thing that I don't love about you, little sister." Niklaus said as he knelt in front of me.
I jumped into his arms and hugged him before I slapped him on the back of the head. I may be mad at him but I will always love my siblings.
"I like what you've done with the new place, Nik." Rebekah said as she picked up the vase and threw it at a picture, Niklaus had on the wall.
"I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home; A place we could all be a family. None of us would ever have to be alone again." Niklaus said, looking at all of us.
"Oh, you're right." I said with venom in my voice. I'm still mad and I didn't forgive him.
"None of us will be." Elijah said, walking away from Niklaus.
"You're staying behind." Finn said, walking to Elijah.
"We're leaving you, Nik. Right after I kill that Doppelganger wench. And you will be alone. Always and forever." Rebekah said standing next to Kol.
"I'm staying. " I said, looking harshly at my other siblings.
"No Astrid. You're going with Rebekah for a little bit Just till you get the hang of being a girl in this century. Then you can come to any of us but Nik." Kol said, grabbing my arm.
"You run. I will hunt all of you down." Nik said threateningly.
"And then you'll become everything you hate." Our father." Elijah said smugly.
" Not my father or Kol's. Niklaus wasn't the only bastard. Mother had an affair with the witch who visited Ayanna. The Witch was the leader of the Gemini coven. Sorry, I've been receiving information since I woke up." I said matter of factly.
"I'm the hybrid! I can't be killed! I have nothing to fear from any of you!" Niklaus yelled at us.
"You will when we have that coffin." Elijah said with a smirk. Ok, smirks don't look good on you brother.
After a few quiet moments, the door opens. Who would come here, is it those boys from earlier? A second goes by and everyone gasps as a woman walks into the room. No, not a woman, our mother. How is our mother here? What's going on? We all watched as she walked towards Niklaus.
"Mother?" Rebekah and I say in shock.
"Look at me." Mother demands Niklaus."Do you know why I'm here?"
"You're here to kill me." Niklaus all but whispers.
I look over at the rest of my siblings and I realize that I'm not the only one with tears in my eyes. She's here our mother is actually here and alive. It was her. She was the one in the coffin Elijah wanted. She has to be. That's why Niklaus wanted it back from those brothers so badly.
"Niklaus, you are my son. And I am here to forgive you." Mother says to NIklaus before turning to us. "I want us to be a family again."
Is she crazy not even five minutes ago we were all talking about leaving Niklaus and now you want us to stay?
"Now everyone needs rest. We'll talk more in the morning. But a Few ground rules before you go to bed. No killing the locals or causing problems. I expect all of you to act properly and not embarrass me. Am I understood?"
"Yes mother." we all said.
"Now where are the rooms?" Mother asked Niklaus.
"Rebekah, Kol, Finn, and a room for you mother are upstairs to the right. My room, Elijah's and Astrids is upstairs to the left. There are clothes for all of you in the room besides your's mother. I'll have that fixed." Niklaus said, still in a Daze.
"I'll handle it tomorrow. I would like to rest." Mother said as she walked away towards her room.
"Good night." I said as I gave each of my siblings besides Finn a hug.
I may have a temper but I'm still very loving to my siblings. They are all I have, they mean everything to me. Even when they act like Nilkaus and be an ass.
