After the war with Gaea, Hecate starts losing control of the Mist. So the gods decide it's finally time that they reveal themselves to the modern world. They waited until the mist was down and the world had seen the monsters, to reveal themselves so nobody would think it was all special effects.

Percy's POV

The fates officially hate me. The whole world knew that the Greek myths aren't actually myths. And as if that wasn't enough, I have to go to a different high school than Annabeth. She is doing her senior year in San Francisco, while I'm doing my senior year in New York. 'That's just my luck' I thought. I had decided to go back to Goode high school. I was trying to keep my being a demigod a secret, I just wanted to live normal for a bit. 'I cant wait till ancient Greek' I thought as I entered Goode.

Lucille's POV

My name is Lucille Johansson. I am the most gorgeous girl at Goode and my boyfriend is the captain of the swim team. Needless to say, I am the queen of this school. At first I didn't really care too much about the whole Greek gods and demigods stuff, but I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to make sure I stayed at the top. I did a little research( ugh research, I know boring) and found out Athena was the goddess of smarts or whatever, so I decided she would be my mother. My father and mother got a divorce forever ago so no one knows my real mom. I dressed in a long flowery dress and put on some makeup and headed to school.

Ancient GreekThe first thing I noticed when I walked into class was the hottest guy I have ever seen. And when I say hot, I mean hot. He had jet black hair that looked like he had just come from the beach, and he was covered in muscle that looked like he had gotten the hard way. But the best part about him was his eyes, they were a beautiful sea green that looked like whirlpools. I had to have him. I was about to go make him mine when the teacher walked in and called for everyone to take their seats. " Today we are going to talk about the prophesied seven." He blabbered on about them the whole hour but I was to busy watching my new boyfriend. After class I walked up to him and said in my most seductive voice " Are you new here? Because I definitely would have noticed you." He looked up at me a little flustered and said something like "uh, ya I'm new" and with that he walked off. I was a little surprised he didn't instantly fall for me, as I was used to, but then I thought about how much more fun it would be to get him. Finally lunch arrived and it was time to throw out my daughter of Athena thing. Over the past few days I had made everyone believe I was the daughter of Athena from the prophecy, and I was getting the royal treatment. I looked around for him for a while until I heard some kid say" Ya, I saw one of the new kids sneak off somewhere." I sighed in frustration 'how am supposed to make him boyfriend if he's not here' The next few days were no different, I see him after Greek and that's it. I managed to boast about me being the daughter of Athena, and he looked like he was having to hold himself back. I smirked' I bet he can barely contain his desire for me' but he just walked off.

Percy's POV

It's finally Friday. I can't wait to go to camp after school, I miss Annabeth so much and that Lucille girl wasn't making it any better. 'Just one more day, then you can see her' I thought to myself. The day went pretty much the same as the week had been going, but I managed to avoid Lucille after Greek. I had been going to Paul's office for lunch, because mom brought Estelle with her. At the end of the day Lucille caught up with me "How 'bout we head to the movies, then we can go to my place and since my parents aren't home we can do whatever we want" She said " I am busy Lucille, as I have been everyday. " I reminded her. " Right, with that camp, do you really think anyone is buying it?","And besides I am the daughter of Athena the prophesied one, there isn't a better offer out there" she boasted with a smirk. " If you've been listening, she has a boyfriend" I said."She does!...I mean I dumped him for you, your way hotter" I was starting to get pissed off so I said " He willingly fell into Tartarus for her, has saved her life tons of times and she saved him tons, she wouldn't just dump him for someone else" I said loudly. By now we had quit the audience, and they were looking at her expectantly so she said " Tar-tus or whatever wasn't that bad, and he was just being annoying the whole time, I could've made it out easily" I snapped. She had know Idea how hard Tartarus was, it was that worst thing I've had to endure. The ground started to shake, "I am Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon, god of the sea and earthquakes, Defeater of Kronos, Navigator of the Labyrinth, Hero of Olympus, Slayer of Gaea" I shouted at her, I didn't care anymore, I couldn't do it " I chose to fall into Tartarus, for my girlfriend, we fell for 9 days, then we had to drink liquid fire to survive. My girlfriend, the real daughter of Athena, would never leave me. And I would never leave her, I have survived hell for her and I would do it again." My voice was barely above a whisper now, but everything was silent so it was heard by everyone. " Never lie and say you're a demigod, especially one of the seven. A demigod has to go through things you couldn't even begin to imagine, they are thrown into near death experiences and battles so often it's hard to keep a weekly count, the Seven have it harder. We have gone through more than anyone, when we are one a quest, we can't even keep track of all our daily battles, and the daughter of Athena and me have been through more than anyone." I said in a deadly voice. It was dead silent for a few minutes, and then Paul came out of his office and realized what was going on."Percy, I will handle the transfer papers and-" I cut him off, trying to calm down I said "No, I want to stay" I looked everyone one around me" Don't say a word about who I am."Then I marched out of there ready to see my friends and girlfriend at camp.
