The next morning Doc, Indy and Pat resumed their quest as they walk along the Himalayan trail, The snow and the high winds pick up again, but that won't deter them from finding the eye. Indy was looking at the map
"We're almost to the temple." Said Indy
"According to what I read the temple is cursed." Said Pat
"Ah come on now Patricia, you don't believe in curses, do you?" Indy asked
"From what we've seen on this trip anything is possible." Said Doc
They continued to walk until suddenly they see the temple, they walk up the stairs to the main doors. Indy takes the key out from his bag and puts it in the lock, he turns the key and the doors open. They go inside and take in the sights of the temple's interior, The walls were filled with ancient Hindu art. Drawings and statues fill the hallways.
"So where do we find the eye?" Pat asked
"Like I said before the eye is located on Shiva's forehead." Indy responded
"Of course, then the eye must be located on a statue of Shiva." Said Doc
"Right Doc, if we can find the statue, we find the eye." Said Indy
They continue to walk the halls until they come to some statues of ancient Hindu warriors. Suddenly the statues came alive and faced the trio. They were armed with swords and shields, Doc, Indy and Pat grabbed swords off the wall ready to face them, the warriors go in to attack them as the trio tries to fend them off. Indy was sword fighting with a couple of the warriors, he saw a sword coming towards his head. He ducks and his hat got knocked off, he sliced them with the sword and the warriors turned to dust. Doc was also sword fighting with a couple of the warriors, He ducks and dodges causing his shirt to get torn and tattered exposing his impressive muscled physique. He sliced the warriors and they turned into dust. Pat was trapped against the wall, she held up her sword to block to keep her attacker's sword from pressing down on top of her. Doc stabbed the warrior in the back causing it to turn to dust
"Is everyone okay?" Doc asked
"I'm okay." Said Indy
"Me too. Those statues tried to kill us." Said Pat
"They were protecting the temple and the eye." Said Doc
"You mean trying to keep us from finding the eye?" Pat asked
"Exactly Pat." Doc responded
"Well, I don't care, I'm not leaving this damn temple until I find the Eye." Said Indy
They continued on down the hallway until they came to a room. They go inside and find the room empty. Suddenly the door came down behind them trapping them inside, the walls started to move closing in on them
"These walls are going to crush us." Said Pat panicking
"We have to find a way out of here." Said Doc
"No shit Doc!" said Indy as he tries not to panic
The walls were moving closer and closer, Doc stretched out his huge muscular arms trying to keep the walls at bay as they continue to move. Indy noticed some patterns on the wall
"These patterns on the wall must be some kind of puzzle. If I can just figure it out maybe it will get us out of here." Said Indy
"Hurry Indy, we don't have much time." Said Doc
Indy looks at the pattern again and figures it out. he pushes the panels and the door opens, they hurried out of the room as the walls come crashing together.
"That was close." Said Indy
"If we make it out of this alive, I better be getting an A." said Pat sarcastically
"I'll do better Patricia; I'll give you an A for the entire semester if we make it out of this." Said Indy
"We have to be careful because I have a feeling that the worse is yet to come." said Doc
"What could be worse than this?" Pat asked
"I don't know, but let's hope we don't find out." said Indy
"Look Indy, I know that you're determined to find the eye, but sometimes it's good to leave well enough alone." Said Doc trying to reason with him
"Doc, right now a part of me wants to turn around and get the hell out of this place, but I can't give up." Said Indy
"I figure you say that and I wouldn't expect any less from the great Indiana Jones. So shall we keep going?" Doc asked as the three of them keep moving.
