The whole they invited to the Saionji Mansion. It's good trip for practicing before the upcoming tournament matches. Erika convinced Aoto and Tagi to join Momoyama Predators. Which means they're, now, teammates with Kota. He's cool with Tagi, he seems like a kind person. On the other hand...
Kota's everything rivals, compotes, challengers but teammates with Aoto. The endless upcoming between them also gets their teammates attention.
Their teammates notice that there is a lot of tension between you two. It is so obvious that it even bothers them. They try to encourage you to get along with each other before the tournament. He feels like they're not only rivals, but also competitors for something more. Maybe deep down inside, both of them have more feelings than just rivalry... You can't help but admit that Kota is cool and handsome. Maybe there is more to your rivalry than what you think...
The whole team wants them to get along with but they are way too stubborn and greedy. So they make an effective plan which will either work or, well, mess up things even more..
Reika shows them around the Mansion and it's time to pick rooms.
"Alright let's divide to pairs, each if them going to be roommates!" Although her family's mansion is huge, it's not a hotel after all.
"I want to stay with Ouzou. There's a new tactic that I want show him." Ryuuji says and Ouzou nods.
"I'm going to stay with Erika." Reika and Erika is together.
Aoto wants to stay with Tagi but even before he open his mouth to say something he hears Shou's chuckle.
"Tagi! Let's stay together. You see the whole field from behind we can make new strategies!!"
Aoto is disappointed he wants to insist on staying with Tagi but he's not such kind of person.
"Sure, but are you okay with that, Aoto?"
"That's means I'm going to stay with..." The only person left is Kota's himself...
That means Aoto and Kota will be roommates. Aoto catches him while quickly tuon his face to another side. Why did he turn his face? Is he hiding something? It's obvious that he's as ungreatful as Aouto's himself.
He heards Kota and his brothers talk but he can't understand clearly.. "Try not to kill eachother." Ryuuji jokes.
After the lunch Aoto enters the room where he sees Kota in the middle of the room, drawing something. "What is that?"
"It's our boundary." Kota moves ond reveals a line on the ground. It seperates the room to equal parts.
It makes Aoto slightly feel broken?... They might be rivals who always compote but isn't it a bit too much? "Is it really necessary?.."
"Y-yes..." Kota feels the slightly bitterness in Auto's voice He feels something Inside of him is burning. He quickly turns away and lies his bed.
"Get out off, I need to change my clothes." It was, in fact, it wasn't necessary for him but he just wanted to annoy Kota on porpuse.
Kota sighs and gets out of the room. They spend last of the day while training. Even when they train by themselves, they're still in a kind of competition. They want to train harder than the other one so they force their limits.
It has been a long and tiring day for both of them, when the night comes and they go to their room, all they wanted to do is sleep.
Since they are so tired, they fall asleep immediately. It wasn't long before Aoto hears a noise and wakes up. At first, he doesn't understand where it comes from. While the voice beeps increasing he turns to other side and looks at Kota, It's the time when he notices where the sound comes from. Kota is snoring in his sleep.
Aoto tries to ignore it at first. He put his pillow over his head in onder to avoid the voice nevertheless it only gets louder each passing minute. He just wants to sleep and can't stands the voice anymore.
"Kota... Kota... Kota!"
He finally awakes after Aoto calls him a few times.
"Huh?"
"You're snoring."
"Sorry..." Kota thanks to God it's dark in the room so Aoto can't see his blushed face. He's so embrassed and only wants the night to end already. He manages to fall asleep again but awakes when Auto calls him once more, He was snoring again.
"Kota!"
"Can't you just sleep?" Kota sights.
"How I am suposed to sleep when you keep snoring?"
"You can't hear it if you sleep!"
That's just it! Aoto had enough. He's been competing whole day, seperated the room with a line, acted so cold and now not only snored but also been rude...
Aoto grabs his pillow and throws him against Kotd, right to his bed's side of the room. The pillow hits him on the force.
Kota growls. He can feel his anger boils inside. He was already feeling embrassed but now, it turns to anger. He thinks of throwing the pillow back at Aoto but he manages to keep calm.
"That means you're going to sleep without your pillow because I'm not giving it back.
Aoto feels flustered, Kota's attiude towards him really overing the limit of his patient. He's been this way the whole day!
Aoto losts it completly and runs over the line in the middle of the room. He almost jump on Kota and tries to get his pillow back.
Kota's determinded not to give it back. They're wrestling without hurting eachother. Kota grabs his own pillow to defend himself. It turns to a pillow fight.
They get into a pillow fight, which starts to get out of control. They are so focused on the fight that they don't realize how close they actually are. They might be too carried away not only about feelings but also in actions.
They stand up and move to other side of the room while keeping on with pillow fight. Kota finally takes the upper and and manages to pin Aoto to his bed. For an instant, their eyes meet and they both feel a hint of a spark between them...
For a long moment, the two are locked into each others eyes. Their tension is so intense, so palpable. Maybe this is it. Maybe this is the moment that they both realize how much they have been hiding for so long. Aoto feels his heart beating faster and faster as he stares deep into Kota's eyes. Their faces are only inches apart. They both get lost in each other... Maybe this is what they've been waiting for all along.
Kota looses his breath in the blue eyes of the boy lies underneath him. They're as blue as the ocean's itself. And his golden hairs... It's a brand new hue of his favourite colour. He's speechless...
"Why are you being like... this?" Aouto yells, he's all flustered.
"L-like what?..."
"I-I don't know... like this.." Aoto considers for a moment. "You're keeping me away from yourself but you keep staring at me, you're competing with me but you also want to be around me..."
"I... I am... trying to stay away from you.."
"I don't understand... D-don't you like me?..." Auto asks with a teary voice. He doesn't want Kota to dislike him. He wants Kota to...
"No-no! It's just... I don't know if I can control my feelings when... I'm around you.."
Aoto's heart goes crazy by his words. He feels like as if he's going to explode ony moment. They're so close as their bodies pressed together Kota can feel the crazy beats of Aoto's heart but he can't make sure whether it's Aoto's or his...
"What kind of feelings?..."
"I-I can't just explain it.."
"Then... show me?..."
Aoto can see Kota's face mirroring his heart such as his own one does.
Kota leans his face down hesitantly as if Aoto is a fragile treasure.. Their lips gently touch. They both feel the incredible warmness goes through them..
Kota makes it last short and suddenly breaks the kiss to see Aoto's reaction. On the God's earth, what did he just did...
His anxious thougths wipe away as he sees Aoto's slight smile. Kota also smiles in response. He feels more confident.
Their lips touch for the second time. This time it's a more passinate and deeper kiss. It feels magical.
Kota lies next to Aoto. Neither of them speak for a moment, then Aoto starts to laugh.
"What?"
"So you've been running away from me all this time? On purpose?"
Kota only smiles and nods.
"You sholdn't have."
They snuggle and fall asleep, with their hearts beating as one. It has indeed been a long day with so many emotions and discoveries. It is as if the world is starting to make sense again. They have finally found the thing that they were searching for. They have found the key to their happiness in each other. It is a beautiful feeling..
