Happiness From the Clouds - Over Coming Marriage Obstacles
Synopsis
Tian Lan and Zhan Peng have a marriage full of quarrels and unhappiness. Though they got married over the objections of both their families and a difficult pregnancy that resulted in the Tian Lan not being able to conceive any more children in the future…. Their 8 year marriage could no longer withstand the onslaught of criticism from the cruel and abusive mother in law - Zhou Lan Zhi and the rejection from Jiang Jian Guo … Tian Lan's father.
Finally, after 8 years, they divorced and decided to go on their own ways. Moving forward, the quarrels and unhappiness continued due to Tian Lan's stubborn pride in trying to raise her daughter Mo li on part time wages and very poor housing conditions. Zhan Peng on the other hand continued to live his life with his well to do mother while ignoring his parental responsibilities to his daughter only exacerbated his ongoing feud and displeasure with his ex wife.
Fate appears to provide solutions to both their unhappiness as the two failed marriage prospects are presented with new possibilities. Tian Lan at her lowest point has a run in with Han Xian Dong which didn't go very well. Tian Lan was walking as she is counting her severance money after being fired from her part time job for being late again. A man rushing to get to where he was going bumps into Xian Dong who was talking on the phone thus forcing him to crash into Tian Lan while counting her money causing some of that money to fly into the air and land in the flowing water beneath. She takes her frustration out on Xian Dong by demanding that he reimburse her for the money she lost. Xian Dong on the other hand takes it that it's a blackmail scheme trying to con him out of money since he appeared to be rich as he is driving a very expensive porch SUV. He flatly refuses to comply and simply drives away.
Liu Zhang Peng gets enamored with the new editor that has been hired at his company . Du Min Qiu is a widow that lost her first and special love some years back after the birth of their son Xiao Yu. She has resolved herself into remaining single while raising her son and not allowing herself to find love again. That doesn't stop Zhang Peng who sees himself as a ladies man and begins his pursuit.
The 60 episodes of this series not only deals with how these two couples eventually find ways to make it work but how they learn to overcome the obstacles that their families continue to put in their way. However, their biggest the concern is for their daughter Mo Li has a major problem with her biological dad Zhang Peng. She resents his ongoing attention to Xiao Yu the son of his new love interest while he has been completely absent from being a father figure to her. She recruits Han Xiao Dong to pretend to be her dad at the parent teachers days , since Zhang Peng has never once done so. To infuriate Zhang Peng she calls Xiao Dong "Papa" in front of him and refuses to talk to him as she and Xiao Dong return to his house where the two of them play all the neat video games her new dad has.
However, Mo Li does have a burning desire that her mom and dad would get back together so that her family would be whole again. Han Xiao Dong does his best to fill the void in Mo Li's heart by always making her feel she is wanted and loved while also trying to break the hard shield that Tian Lan has placed around herself as an island onto herself. It takes up to ending of episode 60 do we get to see Tian Lan drop her shield and allow Xiao Dong to win her over.

The series ends with Jiang Tian Lan smiling while hugging happy Han Xiang Dong . However this union needs to be further explored and how these two strong willed personalities will learn to make the home they both seek together.

The opens where Episode 60 left off with Jiang Tian Lan Smiling and looking into Han Xiang Dongs eyes: Are you certain you want to marry me?

The Invited guests were told to meet at the Taipei Grand Hyatt Hotel where drinks and appetizers would be served. As everyone waited the comments throughout the room began with … Where is the Bride and Groom?
The Event Planner makes an announcement: Now that everyone is here your probably wondering where the bride and groom are…. The Event Planner: Now that the Wedding is complete you may proceed back to the buses that will return you to the Hotel where the rest of the nights actives will resume… Thank you for your cooperation .

The Wedding Night All the invited guests eat, drink and dance the night away at the Grand Hyatt….. while Xiang Dong carries Tian Lan into the bridal suite of the Grand Hyatt. Tian Lan's eyes light up as she looks around and sees the luxurious settings her husband plans on having his way with her.
