Meet Tyson, the son of Tai Lung. After the redemption of his family and friends, Tyson wants to create a team of young kung fu masters but feels put down for merely being a child. Rounding up his friends to create the largest kung fu army in China, Tyson embraces his role as the defender of both China and the world.

57. Chapter 57: Kang

Kang is Xiao's son and prince of China. He has his mother's appearance but has a black hair quaff. Kang fights using a jade dagger like his mother.

Being born in a palace, Kang is fearless, brave, and formidable, stating how excited he was about becoming king of China. Kang was kidnapped by wolf bandits for ransom. He is eventually tracked down and successfully rescued by Jewel, Musky, and Tayra's company. After arriving at the Valley of Peace, Kang wanted to explore the town and see how people live, so he can help them when he is king. A few days later, his presence is discovered by wolf bandits and later the five. When his mother comes to retrieve him, Kang doesn't want to go home and wants to stay with his new friends. Seeing how the Jade palace was safer than their regular home, Xiao decides to let him stay unless something comes up. Later he's accepted as a member of The Dragon Knights.

Kang has a respectful and caring personality. He manages his responsibilities and keeps his wits. He seems to have a rude demeanor at times, particularly when he made mean-spirited comments towards the bandit leader, but as he was not intentionally hateful, he may instead simply be playful or naive.

Kang loves his mother dearly.

He is trusting of Musky and Jewel.

Kang is named after his grandfather.

Kang is the only young lynx in the series.
