Hello everyone, Vera here ✨️

Well, I'm just dropping by to leave you this one-shot featuring Yutamaki and Gojohime.

The truth is that I wanted to get this idea out of my head for a long time and I finally did it. In the form of a single chapter, but I did it.

I hope you like it ️ while I keep working on the other chapters I'm preparing for you.

Question before we continue, who do you think Sugawara would have looked more like physically, Yuta or Satoru?

Now without further ado, enjoy this unique chapter.

I apologize if there are any errors in the translation, I did my best work without having a beta.

The Woman Of My Dreams

Night after night, Yuta and Satoru had the same shared dream.

The same woman had appeared to them in their dreams for seven nights in a row.

She was a woman with long hair as dark as night, she had beautiful honey-colored eyes that shone like the sun, she had a beautiful skin as soft as silk and on her body, which she moved with delicacy, she wore a beautiful and thick kimono with colors worthy of the women of the high society of the heina era, especially highlighting among those garments, the color as red as blood, making this woman stand out in those corridors of that ancient feudal house.

That woman always followed them through those corridors of their memories, she was quickly recognized by her strong character and her sweet voice, as harmonious as a song.

Always this mysterious woman would utter a word, while her lips rested on theirs.

"You..." whispered this mysterious entity.

That woman, before touching the lips of those two sorcerers in their dreams, she always pronounced a name that was a little confusing for those two, but that was engraved in them blood.

"…" she whispered and her warm breath collided with their mouths.

Was it the name of her lover, which her lips pronounced before joining in a kiss?

Once the lips of Satoru and Yuta were touched by that mysterious entity, both woke up from that dream with a strange feeling of restlessness, a tingling sensation ran through the back of their necks that chilled their skin and they felt that their hearts would burst out of their chests.

"Who is this woman?"

Satoru wondered, as he fiddled lightly with his black sleep mask, he had stayed the night in a room at the academy.

He looked at the time on his cell phone, it was time to start the day.
"It was just a dream? Really?" he whispered to himself.

"But it's the same dream for the seventh time in a week" he pulled off the covers and stretched his arms "whatever" he didn't think anything of it at the time.

But that strange feeling did not go away at all that morning. On the contrary, it increased when Satoru meeting whit Yuta in the classroom.

"Good morning!" Satoru greeted his favorite student, whom he had called to speak, "Look what I have brought you!" he proudly took out Yuta's credential, "You have regained your special grade again in less than three months" he handed him the plastic, "Congratulations Okkotsu, I have plans for you!"

"Good morning Gojo sensei" answered Yuta with a yawn "Thaaa" yawned again "Thank you…" took that ID between his fingers.

That boy still looked tired.

"Did you have a bad night? Because that definitely sounded like a tired yawn?" Gojo questioned curiously.

"I'm sorry sensei" Yuta apologized and adjusted his black hair. "I just had a strange dream again..." he scratched the back of his neck.

"Again? Can I hear what it's about?" asked Satoru with too much intrigue overflowing from the corners of his mouth, as he supported back against the desk.

"Well, it's just that I've been dreaming about a woman for several nights in a row now" Yuta answered very shame, as beads of sweat trickled down his cheeks.

"Oh! So it's wet dreams that keep you awake? It's a normal thing at your age haha!" commented Satoru with a big mocking smile.

"WHAT? NO! IT'S NOT THAT KIND OF DREAM!" Yuta shouted, his face dyed red, but he quickly decided to explain the situation, his hands going from one side to the other.

"What I'm trying to say is that ... it's been seven nights in a row now that I dream about the same woman but it doesn't feel like a dream... it feels more like a memory... a quite real memory"

"A memory? What is this memory about? and what does the woman look like physically?" asked Satoru strangely. Even through the black bandage he could see how his eyebrows twitched in surprise.

"I do not know how to explain it exactly. But in this dream I see myself, walking down a corridor of what seems to be the royal palace or the residence of a feudal lord. Whenever I try to see my reflection, I see my face blurred, I can never see my features beyond my nose, but when I look at my body, I am always dressed in a black suit of a scholar of the heina era…" he explained.

"Interesting, What else happens in your dream?" Gojo questioned as he felt familiar with these descriptions.

"Well, while I'm walking through those corridors, a woman with a beautiful face, eyes as golden as honey and with hair as long and dark, calls me by name... or rather, by a name that I can't decipher. And then she..." Yuta bring his index and middle fingers to his mouth, slowly moving across it as if he still felt that sensation on his own lips.

Satoru gently tilted his head to one side, what Yuta described was the same thing he dreamed of every night.
"And then what happens?"

"She..."

"Does she kiss you?" asked Satoru firmly.

"THAT'S RIGHT! That woman kisses me but when she does, she utters something in a whisper that is almost impossible to hear and and that's when I wake up too scared because that kiss feels so real!" Yuta looked at his master, who seemed very tense at those words.

"Sensei, is something wrong?" asked the student, surprised to see Satoru so quiet.

At first, Satoru took it as a mere coincidence, a product of his special grade overactive mind. But when Yuta mentioned that same woman to him and explained the dream in detail, he became worried. Was it a curse? A harbinger of something terrible?

"Yuta, let's go quickly to Shoko! Something is wrong with the two of us!" commented Satoru in a serious voice.

"Sensei? What happen?" asked the student with concern.

"That's what we're going to figure out... it's not normal for two sorcerers to have the same dream. That could be a bad omen or it could be that we are under the effects of an unknown curse.

"THE SAME DREAM? SENSEI, DID YOU DREAM THE SAME THING I DID? BAD OMEN?!" Yuta shouted, "UNDER A CURSE?"

"Yes, so it's best to act fast!"

Desperate, they both went to Shoko, who was fortunately sober.

After examining them thoroughly, Shoko ruled out any physical or mental problems.

She also ruled out that some curse had struck them, so in her judgment as a physician she was going to one answer to what those two were suffering from.
Something the textbooks said could happen once in a thousand years, especially when two people share the same ancestor.

"What you two are experiencing Could be a very strange case of shared memory" she said in a calm voice.

"Shared memory?" Yuta asked in confusion, "What is that?"

"It is a kind of trance where two people, in this case the two of you, share the same memory, which may be engraved deep in your subconscious or in your blood, as it happens with the cursed energy and innate techniques, some memories can be transmitted from generation to generation. In this case, what you two are experiencing is a memory of the same ancestor with whom you share blood. So what you are experiencing is NOT a dream" she explained.

"Are you saying that what we see is a memory of Sugawara no Michizane? Are you sure that's what it is and not the side effect of some curse?" asked Satoru with intrigue.

Shoko puffed on her cigarette and then exhaled that smoke.

"Do you doubt my words?"

"Maybe and more that these cases are very rare among sorcerers. It only happens in one out of thousands" Gojo commented with a pout.

"And that's why there are almost no recorded cases of this "ailment" if it can be classified as one, it's a nuisance to find out what is causing it" commented Shoko tired.

"How do you cure this?" asked Yuta with concern.

Shoko exhaled one more puff of smoke from her cigarette "From the few records that exist of this, the only way I can think of is for you to find out more about this woman" she explained.

"Are you talking about finding out who that woman in Sugawara's life was?" Yuta questioned with confusion.

"That's right. They must really find out who that woman is that they see in their memories. Maybe that will give them a clue as to what became of 'her' Or in their more 'poetic and romantic' case they can find out if that woman "reincarnated" in the present time" Shoko explained.

Satoru snorted a little.
"Reincarnated? You speak very poetically Shoko. You know that reincarnations in sorcerers don't happen often as far as anyone knows. Besides, how will we know who that mysterious woman is nowadays?"

"Well, in the same poetic and romantic way they talk about reincarnation. That is, until you are in front of that woman, you will know" She inhaled what was left of her cigarette "Until you are in front of that person, your memories will intensify and you will recognize her right away, you may experience a deep connection with that woman. This is also commonly referred to as a case of 'Soul mates'"

Gojo snorted again, "Ha! Watching so many dramas on TV and reading so many books have fucked you up romantically Shoko!"

The doctor just shot a look of annoyance at Satoru for that he said.

"And…" Yuta hesitated slightly, "What if we don't find out who that woman in our memories is?"

Shoko stubbed out her cigarette in the ashtray, "We don't know exactly... although my theory is that until you find out who that woman is, those dreams will continue to the extent that it may be impossible to know if you are dreaming or if it is really a memory or if you are living in the present. Sleep deprivation can lead to death."

Yuta swallowed hard when he heard that. He hadn't slept well for a week now and it was starting to show on his face.

Instead, Satoru scoffed at the situation.
"Soul mates, "Reincarnation, Shared memories are all poetic nonsense. Maybe this will go away with the passing days and a good sleeping medicine!"

"Satoru, this could be dangerous if you don't find out who that woman is that shows your ancestor's memories" Shoko commented with annoyance.

"Yes, whatever. We will see how we will solve it, for the momento just prescribe us some medicine for sleep" Satoro looked at his cell phone –"Well Shoko, thanks for the consultation, but I must leave, I have to go to Kyoto to solve some pending issues. And you Yuta" he looked at his student, "You have a mission to do with your classmates!"

Shoko just let out the air in annoyance. She knew Satoru was an idiot for taking this too lightly. On the other hand, Yuta had no choice but to obey his teacher, who was leaving for Kyoto that same afternoon because he was going to negotiate about the next trip Okkotsu was planning to take abroad. And that was to be discussed also with the headmaster of the other school as part of the big shots.

The idea of a shared memory was as intriguing as it was disturbing. How was it possible that they were both dreaming about the same woman and in such specific detail? Who the hell was this woman kissing Sugawara? A mistress? A concubine? A Prostitute?

Satoru, intrigued by Shoko's theory, began to look more closely at the people around him on his way to the Kyoto headquarters. Even while at the academy, he looked carefully at everyone around him.

At first, he thought it was idiotic, a simple romantic problem that today's culture insisted on portraying in novels and books.

But what would happen once he meeting Utahime would make him doubt whether shared memories and reincarnation were real.

"Gojo, Director Gakuganji can see you now" said Utahime with a grimace as she called out from behind the couch to the sorcerer.

Satoru stood up and turned to her, "Until that old man sees me! Utahime anyway..." he couldn't finish that sentence, because once he looked Utahime in the face. He noticed something strange about her.

She didn't seem to be herself. She looked a lot like that woman satoru was looking at in his dreams. Even her voice was the same.

He quickly removed the black blindfold that covered her eyes, cut them open and looked at her from head to toe.

His gaze met hers, that gaze was as golden and glittering as the gold he saw in his dreams, but at that moment it felt so real.

Satoru had the impression that he was seeing the woman from his shared memories in that instant in front of him. Even Utahime presence and cursed energy felt similar to "hers".

"Why that face?" commented Utahime in a tone that betrayed displeasure.

At that moment, Satoru seemed to have a memory that was not his own. Rather that memory was of his ancestor.

Utahime was the spitting image of that woman, since seeing her at that moment was like seeing that woman wearing that red kimono and even gave the same vibe as her. It even felt as if time had stopped.

"You really look like a pervert looking at me like that!" she commented with annoyance.

The movements Utahime made of putting her hands on her hips, Satoru saw them as in the memories of his ancestor, even the gesture of twisting her mouth and wrinkling her nose, was the same as that woman. It was as if he was looking at the woman in the kimono traced on the miko.

Satoru felt his heart leap out of his chest, as if he had a connection that went beyond the known with the woman in front of him.

"You are a pervert! stop looking at me like that! And Let's go, the director is waiting for you!" commented Utahime very annoyed and started to walk towards director Gakuganji's office.

The albino shook his head and his body barely reacted. A conclusion came to his mind.

"Oh!"

Utahime raised an eyebrow.
"Why the "oh"? Gojo, are you all right?" she asked, stopping for a moment to look at him.

Satoru just smiled slightly.
"It's just that I think I just found an answer to a dream I had"

"A dream? What dream?" questioned Utahime in confusion.

"I can't tell you," commented Satoru putting on his black bandage, "Come on Utahime, that old man can die of courage!"

Utahime was puzzled by that comment, but Satoru was sure of something.

Utahime could be the reincarnation of that woman he saw in his dreams. The Sugawara's wife.

That same night, Yuta had a similar revelation.

As he watched Maki after the two were on a mission together, he noticed an undeniable resemblance between that Zenin and the woman of his dreams. The beautiful golden hue of her eyes, the fine curve of her face, the firm posture as she gripped her weapon.

It was like seeing that woman of his dreams in Maki.

He saw how she behaved when addressing others, and her elegant walk according to the clan she came from.

Even in the way Maki teased him. They made Yuta understand who this woman who appeared to him in his dreams was and how she could be related to Sugawara.

That sorcerer of special grade, did not take his eyes off his companion and she noticed that.

"Why that face?" Maki asked, raising an eyebrow and then running her hand over her forehead hair, which was now straight, "Is it my hair? Does it look bad?"

She asked since she had recently changed her hairstyle. Getting rid of her fringe to now wear a nice hime cut.

Yuta waved his hands, "It's nothing like that. On the contrary. You look great with this new haircut."

"Then. Why are you looking at me so much? Do I have something on my face or what?" she asked with annoyance. Making Yuta look again in Maki, the woman he saw in his dreams.

It seemed that he had found the answer he was looking for, for even at that moment, he had a memory that was not of him, but of his ancestor.

He felt his heart leap out of his chest as he discovered the truth that was right in front of his eyes.

"It's nothing," Yuta repeated, "I just remembered a dream"

"A dream?"

"Yes, but I think I've already found an answer to what I dreamed" he replied with a smile.

"Stop staring at me like that! You're making me uncomfortable!" she tapped him lightly on the forehead.

That touch made Yuta have another memory of his ancestor with that woman who also gave him a light smack on the forehead when he made her angry. He even felt that connection when her finger hit his forehead. Feeling that spark from the past flickered in the present.

Yuta rubbed his forehead.
"Thank you Maki san" he smiled.

Maki was only puzzled by that answer.

At that moment, Sugawara's descendants understood everything. It was as if the same soul inhabited two different bodies at the same time.

Maki Zenin and Utahime Iori, could be the reincarnations of Sugawara's wife.

Questions began to hammer in their minds. Could a person be reincarnated twice and at the same time? Could the soul split in two? Was it possible that the woman in the kimono was linked to Utahime and Maki in some way? And, most importantly, what did this mean for them? Did it mean that his wife followed him to the present day?

If the latter was true, they could both consider themselves fortunate that Sugawara's former love was still with them even in the present, in those two women they loved intensely.

I hope you liked it ️

As I said, for the moment I will leave this story in one chapter. Although I think the idea is good for more.
