He flexed his shoulder, and made sure his fur smelled fresh. Tails breathed slowly, and stretched his arm again. The twin-tailed fox didn't need to be nervous, he had to look his best for this, and he knew who he would be facing in that ring. Why freeze up, he'd practiced for it, and she'd practiced too.

On the plus side, it was nice to try a different challenge after years of smashing robots, especially when it came to fighting experience.

Tails did a little more warming up. He turned to the punching bag, and he began to hit it to toughen up. He'd lifted weights with Knuckles, and he'd done some running, but he wasn't as muscular compared to the red echidna.

Then again, Sticks didn't care.

He hit the bag one more time, took a deep breath, and headed for the door that led into the wrestling arena. The twin-tailed fox's heart skipped a beat as he saw his badger-y love come out as well, wearing a silk white robe. Sticks saw Tails, and waved to him. Tails waved back, then he climbed into the ring, and ducked his head under the ropes as he did so.

Sticks climbed inside as well, and discarded her robe to reveal the two-piece wrestling costume she was wearing. Tails nearly thought it was a bikini, but he reminded himself that it was a wrestler costume, just like those briefs he was wearing.

"You good to go, foxy?" Sticks asked.

"Sure am, Sticks." Tails replied, "Please don't be too rough."

"Oh, Tails..." The badger blew a little kiss towards her boyfriend, "What's the problem? Worried that aliens are gonna brainwash me into tearing you limb-from-limb. Wrestlin' ain't cracked up to be easy, not when ya got limb-twisting involved."

Sonic rang the bell.

"Okay, go!" The hedgehog said, he was serving as referee, at Sticks' suggestion.

Sticks and Tails studied each other, and they prepared to throw hands. Tails composed himself, and Sticks stared at the fox with an intense look. She smirked at him, all while prowling the arena in an intimidating manner. Tails was at ease, and he kept his calm, knowing that he had this one in the bag.

He and the badger approached each other, and Sticks made the first grab. Tails ducked to the side, and evaded Sticks' move. And then, he made a grab for her, a move that Sticks intercepted when she grabbed Tails' hands.

Both fox and badger leaned in, struggling against one another, and Tails grunted, pushing back against Sticks' defenses. He pushed hard, and Sticks stumbled, then the fox grabbed her and knocked her to the ground. Tails grabbed Sticks by the arm, and the badger resisted, she flipped them over and gripped Tails' wrists while smirking at him playfully.

"Looks like the tables just turned, Tails." Sticks quipped.

Bonk! Tails headbutted the badger, and pushed her off of him, making Sticks release her grip. Tails stood up, and prepared to tackle his opponent again. Sticks stood up on all fours in an animalistic manner, then she let off her shrill battle cry, and pounced. Tails ducked backwards, and Sticks flew over his head.

She stood back up, and Tails pounced as she had, he threw his arms around her neck and flipped the badger over his head. Sticks hit the floor, and lay on her back for a moment before shooting back onto her feet.

Watching her, Tails' heart was thumping, but he refused to let love distract him. Sticks was gorgeous, but he knew that in a game like this, beauty could be used as a weapon. The jungle badger faced Tails again, ran towards him, ducked down, and grabbed the fox by the legs. Tails yelped in surprise as he fell on his back, and Sticks held up his legs.

Sticks winked at her boyfriend, then she let go and leaped up with her elbow aimed at the fox. Tails rolled to the side, and the badger crashed into the ground. Tails took a deep breath, and made his counterattack. He pounced on Sticks, trying to pin her down, but the badger seemed to be stronger than he was as she headbutted him and pushed the fox right off.

Tails stumbled to his feet, and Sticks shot back up, then she locked her arms around his body in an attempt to wrestle Tails to the ground. However, Tails fought back, and he grabbed the badger by the hips before flipping them over. He collapsed to his side, and jostled with Sticks until her grip released.

A determined Sticks rolled over, trying to get back on her feet, but Tails was onto her and he pinned her down. Sticks lay flat on her stomach, and she gasped when the fox grabbed her wrists and held her down, even as he eased his grip to avoid really hurting the flame of his heart.

"You may wanna give up now, my wacky jungle badger love." Tails whispered.

Sticks gasped, despite Tails being a little gentle, and she struggled to break his grasp on her, but then she caved in. An exhausted Sticks groaned, and Tails released her, letting her roll over onto her back. Tails was just standing up, then the badger made a surprise leap onto him, and pinned the fox to the ground.

She locked eyes with the surprised Tails, and made sure her knees were pressed against Tails' legs, and her hands were rested upon the fox's wrist. He wondered what was happening, and then, Sticks kissed him.

"You fought well, foxy." Sticks told the fox.

"But, I..."

"Oh, you did." She kissed the fox on the cheek, "You beat me, but you can't beat me in the wrestle of love."

"You did pretty good, buddy!" Sonic encouraged.

Tails closed his eyes, and nodded with a smile. Sticks' hands moved upward, caressing the fox's cheeks, and Tails reached up to grasp his girlfriend's hips right as Sticks lowered herself to press her body against the fox's slightly muscular stature. She kissed him deeply upon his smooth fuzzy lips, and Tails surrendered to the kiss.

Both fox and badger made out on the floor, and they rolled to the side, embracing one another and kissing passionately. Tails locked his arms around Sticks' body, and rolled her over, placing himself on top of the badger while their hearts merged, and the couple added their tongues into the wild wrestling match of love.

Sonic watched with a smile, then he left the room to give his little buddy and the shapely badger girl some much-needed alone time after quite the wrestling match...
