Little One, Little Danger
(The Revision)

A/N: Hello there readers! Wow, it's been awhile but I had a big life change with having my son and it's been an experience being a mom ^-^. Well, in some of my downtime I decided to do a revision of Little One, Little Danger because I originally wrote it back in 2006 and reading over it now...there was some improvements I could make so here we are haha. I am also still working on other stories but this one has been a true fav of mine. Some changes have been made but the story remains the same. Some of those changes include, format, less detail in some places, less dialogue subbed for detail in other places. Also, when I watched the show as a teen I had some serious hate for Starfire that was obviously reflected in the original fanfic story lol, but I dialed that back a bit because she's actually not THAT bad. So her dialogue, decisions and character has been improved to reflect her actual character. Same with Raven, I've fitted her characteristics to match her character better so subtracted some "laughs" and weird "smiles" here and there. I've enjoyed going through the entire story again and if you decide to give this revision a read, I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as the other. Happy reading! ^_^

Chapter 1:
"Clone Attack"

[Titans Tower]

"Titans, trouble!" Robin alerted his team as the alarm inside the tower went off repeatedly. The titans gathered in the living room to find out what threat they'd have to soon deal with.

"What do we got?" Cyborg asked their leader as he looked upon the screen.

Robin's gaze never left the screen, examining the current image, "Don't know, it's just…quiet."

"Maybe too quiet." Raven walked up to join them.

"The only thing that the radar is picking up is this old warehouse." Cyborg viewed some statistics on the computer built into his arm.

"Alright then." Robin nodded, "Titans move out!"

{ }

As the Titans approached the warehouse, it didn't take them long to realize that there was no sign of anyone or anything but their team. "Okay…this is weird." Robin couldn't help but to state as they came to a stop outside the entrance of the abandoned building.

Beastboy followed closely behind Starfire, "Dude…this is scary and the fact that the sun went down DOES NOT help."

Starfire turned around to face him. "Do not be frightened Beastboy."

"What?! Me frightened! No way!" He let out an unconvincing chuckle, not realizing that his teammates had entered the building leaving him outside. "H-Hey you guys! Wait up!"

Their group cautiously maneuvered through the darkened building, scoping their surroundings for any sign out who or what might've triggered the alarm back at the tower.
"Dude. I didn't know Raven had a second home." BB adjusted his vision to peer through the darkness until a sound was heard of something passing right by them. "What was that?!" He hopped into Starfire's arms.

"I do not know." The alien girl's words were filled with worry as she dropped their green friend.

Robin shook his head them, "Okay team, we'll split up. Star, you head to the east side of the building. Cyborg and Raven, the west and Beastboy, you and I will go straight north from here. That's the plan, let's head out."

~o~

While Starfire kept flight in her assigned direction, her ears picked up the sound of movement within her perimeter. She decided to descend and walk instead. After a few moments, her eyes caught sight of a shadowy figure that moved passed her and she gasped. "H-Hello? Is someone there?" She waited a short while for a response, but there was nothing but silence. Starfire decided to continue making her way through, though shortly after, the shadowy figure passed her again. By reflex, she shot a starbolt in its direction. "Hello?"

"Hello…Starfire." The girl quickly turned around to see a figure walking towards her, "Aren't you going to greet me?" Star took a few steps back, taking a closer look at the stranger that finally walked into the faint illumination of the area.

"Robin." Starfire sighed a little in relief as she approached him, though there was something about the young man that seemed different. "Robin…your mask…what happened to it?"

He grinned, "Just thought I'd try something new. What do you think?"

Something still didn't fit right with her as she decided to take a few steps back, "No…no, you never take it off, not even for us."

The young man in front of her, followed her movements, approaching, "Maybe not for them…" He was a foot away from her now, his face close to hers as he brought a hand to brush the back of it smoothly against her cheek, "…but perhaps for you."

Starfire could almost feel her knees grow weak. It was his face and his voice but…she knew him, "No…not even for me."

His mouth formed a menacing grin, "You know…you're right." Within an instant, his hand clenched into a fist that was then lodged into the pit of her stomach, which she felt the pain instantly. The force of the attack sent her flying until her back hit a concrete wall and she slide down it.

Star coughed, trying to catch her breath before slowly getting to her feet. She looked over at the boy who was certain was an imposter now, "Robin…would NEVER attack me."

"No, I suppose he wouldn't, but I don't mind getting my hands dirty." The look of the imposter's grin became even more menacing.

The alien girl looked the figure over again. He looked exactly like Robin but absent of the mask and the suit he wore resembled a form-fitting armor painted red and black. Also absent of a cape. "You are definitely NOT Robin."

"Took you long enough to catch on cutie, but what can I expect from that loser's squeeze." He then flexed one of his arms, "Robin wishes he could look THIS good."
Starfire's eyes began to glow in frustration, "Do NOT speak about him that way." She readied herself as the imposter taunted her; Star rushed him for a counterattack.

~o~

Cyborg and Raven's trek to the west was not surprisingly silent until a shadowy figure crossed their paths as well in the blink of an eye. "Okay, Raven. Something really weird is going on."

"Really, I hadn't noticed."

He sighed, "Let's dial back the sarcasm okay."

"Yeah Raven."

They turned around to see a green friend of theirs. "BB, aren't you supposed to be partnered up with Robin man?" Cyborg walked over to who he assumed was their teammate.

"Was I? Heh, I guess I just wanted to hang around with the dark princess here." He grinned Raven's way.

She gave him a minor look of annoyance, "Stop defying orders and go back to Robin."

Not listening to her, the green boy simply approached Raven, closer than she'd ever allow, "Or…I can stay right here." He leaned towards her, his face a few inches from hers as Cyborg watched in utter confusion. "With you."

Raven could feel his warm breath pass across her lips…it tingled but also caused a vein to throb on her temple. Bold, she could respect that but…whoever this was, definitely had a death wish because he was not who they thought he was. "You're not Beastb-" Before the rest of the name could leave her mouth, the doppelganger's fist came into contact with the left side of her face. The force of the impact caused her to be thrown in that direction.

"Yo Beastboy have you lost your mind?!" Cyborg ran over to him.

The boy chuckled to himself, "Do you really think that YOUR Beastboy would have the guts to do what I just did?"

"Not if he valued his life!"

"Bingo." The green boy immediately threw two punches Cyborg's way and followed the attack with a knee to his stomach, making sure to lodge it in there as deep as he could get it.

Upon removing it, Cyborg fell to his knees holding his gut in pain, "Son of a bit-"

"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue. Hahahaha!"

"No…but a bird has your ass."

The boy quickly turned around to a fist that came into contact with the middle of his face, sending him flying, "NEVER touch me." Raven levitated, eyes illuminating until she felt a sharp pain upon her back caused by a different attack.

"Never say never." Raven and Cyborg looked up to see the attacker, only to find them to be a girl that resembled Starfire. However, her hair was cut into a short bob and she was dressed in a red and black getup.

"What the hell is going on?!" Cyborg yelled as he and Raven stood to face the two doppelgangers.

"Oh…you haven't seen hell yet." The girl licked her lips as the fake Beastboy joined her. All four readied themselves before deciding to charge in for battle.

~o~

Robin and BB had only been walking for five minutes and the green boy was already bored. "Robin, can't we just admit that this whole thing was a false alarm and go home already?"

"Beastboy, you know that's not how we do things. A thorough search is needed and we're not leaving until we're certain that there's not a threat."

"You know how he can get."

The two boys turned to find whoever the sudden voice belonged to. "Whoever you are, come on out!" Robin yelled out and then felt something grab ahold of his arm causing him to turn around quickly. It only happened to be a scared Beastboy. "Would you let go!"

"Sorry dude…it's just…"

"He's scared that's all." A powdered skinned girl with amethyst-colored eyes appeared in front of them.

"Raven?" Robin raised a brow, "Did you get separated from Cyborg?" He didn't make a move because something to feel right.

"Oh, he's around."

"Hey, where'd you get the new red and black duds?" BB cocked his head to the side.

"Do you like them?" The girl smiled as she lifted a leg slightly to show off the matching boots, "I think they suit me really well." She then walked in their direction, swaying her hips in a way they've never seen before.

Robin put his guard up, "Uh…Raven, are you alright?"

"Sure, wonder boy." She smiled at him slyly as she approached him, only to slowly wrap her arms around his neck. "I feel GREAT."

"Okay since when do you feel great?" BB watched their teammate a bit in shock, "Or wrap your arms around Robin like that?"

"Raven…" Robin began to slowly reach for the bostaff attached to his utility belt, "…I'll ask again…are you feeling okay?" The girl ignored him as she brought a hand to rest on the chest of his suit, brushing her fingers softly across it.

"Never better…" She then began to move her hand slowly down his suit and the boy could faintly feel her touch that made him nervous. "…but I'm afraid…" her hand stopped at his abdomen as she lowered her gaze, a grimacing grin behind it, "…you won't be for long." In almost an instant, Robin felt pain within his stomach as the result of a punch thrown from the girl; he dropped to knees.

"Dude! You are SO not Raven!"

"You're next, little grass stain."

"What?"

Suddenly BB was blasted in the back, "Booya."

Robin slowly got to his feet and glared at the girl who blew him a kiss; he snickered, "Funny…Raven never mentioned her doppelganger being a seductive harpy."

"You find me seductive? Who knew wonder boy was such a sweet talker. Keep that up and I might reward you generously." She winked at hm.

"Don't take this the wrong way, but I'll pass on that little offer."

"Your loss."

"Actually, I think it would be a win on my part." His friend's doppelganger charged his way and he finally extracted his bostaff to block her attack.
Not too far off, "Dude! You're not Cy!"

"Dude! How long did it take for you to figure that one out." BB began to fight Cyborg's doppelganger despite his want.

~o~

Starfire fell to the ground hearing the laugh of her opponent, taunting her. She quickly got to her feet and flew in Robin and BB's direction, hoping to find them. As she got closer to their location, Star could hear the sound of fighting. "Something must have gotten them also."

"Star! Watch out!" Robin's warning caused the girl to turn around just in time to dodge the kick of their team leader's double.

"Now now sweetheart, do you really want to get away from me." The imposter followed after her.

Entering from the west, Cyborg and Raven was being backed to where their other three friends were situated. The Titans were formed in a circle and took a moment to examine each of their own doppelgangers. "I would NEVER dress in something like that." Raven's brow twitched as she looked over her double and the outfit worn. It was skin-tight, exposed cleavage and stomach with a pair of stiletto boots on her feet.

"I'll say. You cannot look THAT hot." BB's eyes morphed into hearts as he changed into a wolf to howl before Raven hit him upside his head.

Doppel-Robin stood in front of the other doubles and approached the five originals, "Now titans, do you all really want to get yourselves killed?"

The real Robin scoffed at the remark, "Shouldn't you be asking YOUR team that question?" Doppel-Robin grinned and then turned to his team, motioning his head in the Titans' direction. Both teams then charged at the other in a round two battle. Starfire against D-Cyborg. Cyborg against D-Beastboy. Beastboy against D-Starfire. Raven against D-Robin and Robin against D-Raven.

(Star vs D-Cy)

"You know what you are little Starfire? A big plorf dorg!"

"I am not!" Starfire threw the double a punch to the face.

(Cy vs D-BB)

"Come on laptop, I thought you upgraded yourself with Wi-Fi already, don't tell me you're still on dial up haha. Wait a minute…I believe you have a message incoming from AOL...you got mail."

Cyborg gritted his teeth, "You're gonna eat those words!" He ended up chasing the green boy who changed into a mouse.

(BB vs D-Star)

"You know grass stain; you'd be cute if you weren't such a dunce."

"What? I'm not a dunce!" The fighting ceased for a brief moment as everyone exchanged looks before looking at him to share a laugh and then started fighting again. "Dude…that's SO not funny." BB shook his head before turning into the form of his beast-within and charging at his opponent.

(Rae vs D-Rob)

"Two hotties in his pocket, how does Grayson do it?" Doppel-Robin grinned, "So what do you say milk skin, want to get off the toy train and hop on a real one?"

Raven threw a punch that came in contact with his face, "Not a chance creep."

(Rob/F Rae)

"No hard feelings about that first punch now sweet talker."

"Don't flatter yourself and I doubt you'll find me sweet after this." Robin threw two explosives disks her way that she blocked with a dark force field.

30 minutes later…

Everyone ended up on the ground, groaning and struggling to catch their breaths. They each slowly got to their feet, both teams facing the other ready to start round three of their battle. "That will be enough children." They all looked up to find Mumbo the magician standing on a shelf above them.

"So, you're the one behind all this." Robin limped towards the ledge.

"Guilty as charged! Hahahahahaha! Never thought of a better plan!" Mumbo jumped down, kicking Robin to the ground as he landed.

"Robin!" Star shouted out, causing her double to roll her eyes.

"How did you accomplish this?" Robin moaned on the ground looking up at the crazed man.

"Well, if you must know...I stole all of you titans' DNA and made these lovely opposite clones."

Raven looked at Mumbo and noticed he had some kind of crystal on his wand, so she telepathed into Robin's mind, "Robin?"

"Raven, is that you?"

"Yes. The crystal on his wand, I've never seen it before. I sense a strange power coming from it, like it might be the lifeforce of these poorly made clones."

"Yeah, that would be great if that were true. But what do you want me to do, I'm out of strength."

"I'll give you the remaining energy I have left so you can grab that crystal and destroy it."

"Raven, are you sure?"

"No, but what other choice do we have."

Doppel-Raven exchanged glances with Doppel-Robin, pointing to their originals, "Those two are up to something, be on guard." Raven suddenly collapsed unconscious, grasping the attention of everyone in the room.

"Raven!" Cyborg quickly ran to her side.

At almost the same time, Robin sprang into action, grabbing the crystal from Mumbo's wand and holding it up in the air, "I got it!"

BB turned around excited, "Dude! Got, what now?"

"Their life force!"

Doppel-Robin quickly picked up Raven, "You destroy that crystal and I'll destroy your pretty little friend here." He then ran off and Robin didn't hesitate in following him. The other Titans' doubles pursued him as the original did the same, leaving Mumbo behind who disappeared into the shadows. Both team leaders finally came to a stop at the edge of the roof building, Doppel-Robin holding Raven over the edge.

"Don't you dare drop her!" Robin took a step closer to his double.

His double grinned, "Give my Raven the crystal not-so-fearless leader."

"Okay! Just…put that Raven down, please."

"Whatever you say." As soon as Robin tossed the crystal towards Doppel-Raven, Doppel-Robin let go of his hold on Raven, letting the girl fall over the edge of the roof.
To the doubles' surprise however, while the crystal was in midair, the Starfire shot a starbolt at it making it shatter. Robin quickly acted, running towards the edge of the roof to jump.

"Robin!" Cyborg and Beastboy shouted after him but their leader hoped to catch their unconscious teammate. In a matter of moments, he did, wrapping an arm around her as he fiddled with his grappling hook on his utility belt.

Meanwhile, back on the roof, Starfire, Beastboy, and Cyborg watched as their clones disintegrated right in front of their eyes, letting out agonizing howls. Robin finally got the necessary tool working and aimed it at the edge of the room. He released its shot and the end of it latched on to the edge, ceasing his and Raven's fall. The two hung there for a while before he felt them being pulled up by Cyborg and then helped back onto the roof. "You okay man?" Cyborg checked on their leader.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Robin tried to calm the rapid beating of his heart from the adrenaline rush and then turned to Raven who was still unconscious, "I just hope she is."
