Little One, Little Danger
(The Revision)
Chapter 13:
"One's Wings"
Raven woke up in a cold sweat as she sat up in her bed as if gasping for air. Her eyes quickly scanned the surroundings or her room, adjusting to the dark; nothing. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes as she laid herself back down, "It was…was it just a dream?"

The sun was just beginning to rise as Bumblebee sat on the edge of the roof to watch, dressed in her pajamas that consisted of shorts and a yellow tank. "Stunning right?" a voice from behind echoed.
Bee smirked, "It hasn't even started yet."
Someone walked up on the side of her and sat down, "Who said I was talking about the sunrise?"
"Well excuse me for assuming such."
The sun began to lift over the horizon. "It is beautiful though…the sunrise I mean."
Bee finally turned to her rooftop guest, "So you're taking back your previous comment?"
The individual turned to her and grinned, "I could, but what would be the point in lying."
She rolled her eyes playfully and nudged the guy, "You're not half bad yourself archer."
"Not half bad? Ouch, that hurts babe."
Bee chuckled as she leaned over and pecked the guy on the lips, "You are TOO adorable."
Speedy smirked as he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it, "And your kisses are always sweeter than honey." The sun was now halfway through the horizon.

[Titans' Tower]
Starfire was in the kitchen happily making a full traditional breakfast in the early hours of the morning. The events of last night had given her this surge of energy and joy that she hadn't felt since coming to earth. She could still feel the goosebumps upon her skin from letting Robin know how she felt about him. Her pace in beating the eggs in a mixing bowl slowed down as her eyes softened at the memory. Robin he…he didn't push her away…he didn't reject her. Star could feel warmth pass through her entire being as she remembered his words of going on another date with her. "Morning Star." Someone entered with a yawn.
Starfire looked up and smiled, "Good morning, Cyborg."
He smiled, "You making breakfast this morning?" The girl nodded as she placed the beaten eggs in the heated skillet that laid upon the stove. Her friend looked around to see if there might be anything he could do to help. He then found the pancake mix and took out the waffle maker. "Is it okay if I make the waffles Star?"
"It most certainly is." Cyborg nodded and started to gather all the things he needed putting them within a huge mixing bowl.
"Hey what's going on?" Beastboy entered.
"We're cooking breakfast." Starfire placed the cooked eggs upon a large plate.
"Breakfast huh? Let me help you out by making my own, should lighten the load for you." The green boy cracked his knuckles and searched for his tofu.
"Fine with me man." Cyborg had removed the first waffle from the maker.
"I'll go and situate the serving of eggs on the dining table." Starfire headed out the kitchen with the plate.
"Star seems to be in a good mood."
Cyborg shrugged, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."
"So not what I was getting at." Beastboy shook his head.

Raven opened her eyes, a feeling of…positive energy coursing through her. The corners of her mouth curled slightly as she swung her legs over to the side of the bed and stood. She headed to her bathroom and underwent her morning routine, not noticing the door to her room had opened while someone stepped in. This visitor crept in behind her, "Good morning." Raven nearly choked on her toothbrush, startled as someone chuckled.
"Not. Funny." She spat in the sink, head hanging low for a few moments so that the beating of her heart would slow down.
Robin grinned as he put his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him, resting his chin on her shoulder, "Forgive me, Mrs. Grayson."
"Mrs. Grayson?" Raven smirked
Robin lifted his head, "Don't tell me you're denying the name already?"
She turned around to face him, a faint blush across her cheeks though the slight curl within the corners of her mouth presented a faint smile. She noticed that he hadn't returned his mask to its rightful place, on his face, since last night. "Who says that I am?"
"No one." He shrugged, "I mean, who would, I'm too irresistible" His statement got a full smile out of her accompanied by a single chuckle as she shook her head. Their gazes locked briefly and without almost thinking, Raven leaned into him, placing her lips gently upon his for a kiss. Robin simply grinned as she pulled back, "Can't think of a better way to start the day."
Raven removed herself out of his arms so that she could exit the bathroom back into the bedroom. He followed behind, his hands in the pockets of his lounge pants. He watched her stroll over to her vanity, taking a seat so she could brush out her hair. "Smells like breakfast is underway."
"Yeah. I've been getting a whiff of it all morning." Robin chuckled as he walked up behind her and reached over to retrieve the hairbrush out of her hand. Before she could sigh and protest, "Let me."
Raven sighed and closed her mouth. She soon felt the bristles course through her hair with ease in gentle strokes. It was soothing…after several moments the motion stopped and Robin ran his fingers through her hair. "Richard…"
"Don't tell me. You wish I could do this all day right?"
The girl shook her head with a grin, "No, that's not what I was going to say."
"Oh?" He raised a brow.
"Did you by any chance see Raiden on your way here?"
Robin shook his head, "No. I think she's still sleep—"
*knock* knock* knock*
They both turned in the direction of the bedroom door. It soon slid open revealing the girl standing there rubbing her eyes from tiredness. "Still sleeping huh." Raven stood and went over to the girl with a smile
Robin chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, "Well you know…that's what I thought."
"Good morning restless child of mine. How did you sleep?" Raven cupped the girl's chin and examined both sides of her face before pulling back some of her loose hair behind Raiden's ear.
Robin approached and ruffled the kid's hair getting a slight groan out of her. He chuckled, "Ready to go eat kiddo?" Raiden mumbled in the middle of a yawn and turned to face the hallway where she begun to drag herself down. Raven sighed and followed after her while Robin took out his mask and placed it upon his face. He then headed after his two girls.
~o~
Starfire placed the last dish on the table, noticing that Beastboy had already taken his seat. "Something smells so delicious!"
The girl turned around with a smile, "Why yes Robin, we had ma—" Starfire took a step back a bit stumbled as her eyes fell on the man several feet away.
"You guys have been on a roll lately." Raven folded her arms beneath her chest as Raiden took a seat. Starfire's gaze shifted to her other friend and the child who just sat down, eyes widening in disbelief.
"Well Star started things off." Beastboy grinned while lifting his gaze, "Cyborg and I just—" He had to stop midsentence as he caught sight of the three that entered the area.
Robin noticed the odd looks on both of his friends' faces, "You guys alright?"
"Okay here comes the beverages!" Cyborg exited the kitchen with a jug of milk and orange juice.
"Was there anymore apple juice left Cyborg." Raven asked while tapping Raiden who dozed off.
"Nope just…" Cyborg, like Starfire and Beastboy, couldn't complete his statement as he saw 3 individuals who he should've know but wasn't quite sure if he did.
Raven sighed, "Raiden." She lifted the plate of waffles up with her telekinesis and waved it near the girl getting her to wake.
Robin had sat down next to a still stunned Beastboy. "Dude…what happened to you two?"
"What are you talking about?" Robin pulled out Raven's chair. Starfire's gaze fell back on him as she slowly sat down in the seat across from his and right beside Raiden. Her heart was racing in delight.
Cyborg approached the table, placing the jugs down, "What Beastboy is trying to say is…have you took a look in the mirror lately?"
Raven raised a brow, "Not since brushing my teeth earlier." She placed a few waffles on her plate.
"Are you sure? I mean…did you REALLY get a good LOOK at yourself?" Cy pitched in.
Robin shifted his gaze to catch the alien princess across gaze unwavering upon him, "Everything alright Star?" He placed a spoonful of grits on his plate. The girl simply blushed without a response and lowered her gaze immediately.
"How can you guys act like nothing's wrong?!" Beastboy shook off his shock.
"Whoa, calm down." Robin chuckled as sweat ran down the back of his neck. "I'm not sure what the problem is."
Cyborg placed his hand on the table and leaned towards him, "Robin, seriously? The three of you look like y'all aged overnight and I'm not saying in a way that most people would, due to stress. Like…one hell of a growth spurt." He then pointed at Raiden, "You can't tell me you haven't noticed Raiden's feet are now reaching the floor?"
Raven and Robin exchanged looks and turned to the little girl who was scarfing down waffles. They then turned back to their friends, "She's just grown a little."
Sweat ran down Cyborg's neck as his eye twitched, "A little my ass." He mumbled beneath his breathe.
Robin's physical appearance had indeed changed; his hair had grown out several inches falling just below his shoulders which were broader with muscle. His height surpassed Cyborg and Starfire's by a few inches while his facial structure was more refined, mature and masculine. Starfire was beside herself as she kept sneaking glance at him, her heart racing each time.
On Raven's end, her hair too had grown out to the middle of her back, a texture of waves through each strand. Her height matched Starfire's and her curves had formed her figure nicely. As far as facial features go, her face seemed softer and more approachable while the tone in her voice was a tad bit smoother. Though the sarcasm that came out of it remained the same.
Cyborg sighed as he took his seat, "You guys want to play dumb, fine. But consider getting yourselves checked out or something because no way is this normal."
"Daddy can you pass the eggs." Raiden spoke with a mouthful of waffles.
Raven sighed, "Raiden, don't speak with your mouth full." Robin chuckled as he passed the now, ten-year-old girl the serving eggs. Raiden's appearance hadn't changed significantly aside from the fact that she had developed more of Robin's facial features. She was indeed taller being at 5 feet in height.
Starfire stole another glance of Robin but caught his gaze causing him to give her a playful wink that stopped her heart. Her blush intensified and she dropped her gaze for the final time so she could situate food upon her plate that was still empty. The man across simply let out a chuckle at her reaction.

"Yeah man I'm telling you, it's crazy." Cyborg was taking a call.
"No way…so they look like different people?" Aqualad was on the other end of the call.
Robin approached the couch, passing his teammate and friend on the way. He overheard a little of his conversation and shook his head, "Would you stop making a big deal out of nothing?" Robin took a seat.
"Daddy?" Raiden flew into the living room and landed in front of him.
"What's up kiddo?"
"Mama and I are going to the mall, are you tagging along?"
Robin shook his head as he grabbed the TV remote, "No not today. You two have fun."
"Okay." The girl leaned forward and have him a kiss on his cheek before retreating back to her room to change clothes.
Cyborg narrowed his eyes and nodded, "Yeah…mhm…not to mention that Raiden's ten now."
"Wait…her too? Wasn't she like six?"
Robin rolled his eyes as he turned the TV on while Starfire peeked at him from the hallway. What was she doing? He was the same Robin so she shouldn't be that nervous to go and…Starfire could feel the goosebumps forming over her skin. She straightened herself and tried to make sure that her clothes, hair, posture was all in place. After their talk last night, a simple appearance alteration wouldn't just-
"Richard." Someone walked past her into the living room and up to Robin.
The man turned around, "Yeah?" He noticed that she was dressed in a black & white sweater dress that hugged her figure nicely; he grinned. "Looking good."
"Really?" Raven blushed slightly as she made one slow turn, "You don't think it's…a little…?"
"It's a little chilly today right? That's definitely a great choice. Plus…you look hot in it." Robin gave her a wink that flustered her a bit.
Raven dropped her gaze a little while folding her arms beneath her chest, "I…fine. I'll wear this one." She lifted her gaze to meet his which had softened…Raven could feel her heart skip a beat as she smiled softly. The man soon turned back to the TV and she walked over to the front door to retrieve her boots. Raven then noticed Starfire in the hall, "Starfire, you should come with us. I'm sure Raiden will enjoy herself more with you there."
The sudden reference startled the alien princes, "I uh…do you think so?"
"I know so." Raven had slipped on both boots, "I'm not really one who likes to shop remember and Raiden LIKES to shop."
Starfire nodded with a smile, "Okay. I would like to join the two of you to a trip of the mall."
"Thanks Star." Raven gave her a smile, "Raiden, Starfire will be joining us and we're already at the front door. Hurry it up if you don't want to get left behind." She sent the girl a telepathic message as Starfire flew over to stand beside her.

Robin moved to the roof to engage in some solo training. A mission hadn't come their way in a while but that didn't mean that any of them should slack off. The break was refreshing but he'd be lying if he said he didn't feel a bit odd about it. After throwing some punches here and kicks there, Robin was catching his breath in stance. "Yo man!" Cyborg crept up behind, startling him.
Robin grabbed at his chest, heart racing, "Cy…Cyborg…" He turned to his friend and narrowed his gaze, "…don't sneak up on me."
"I thought you had cat-like reflexes." Cyborg chuckled, "But, you should be used to my surprise attacks by now."
Robin sighed, "Yeah yeah, what's up?"
"Mind if we talk?"
"Not at all." Their team leader grabbed his water bottle and took a seat.
Cyborg joined him while rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "Cool…well uh…so, there's kind of this girl…"
"You mean Bee?" Robin raised a brow.
"You…?" Cyborg shook his head, "Of course you knew, especially if Beastboy did."
Robin chuckled, "It's kind of obvious I guess."
"Don't tease me man."
"No way." Robin lifted his hands, "Just tell me what's on your mind."
Cyborg's face softened, a faint blush across his cheeks as he avoided eye contact, "Well…I know how I feel about Bee but…the part that makes me uneasy is…not knowing if there's a chance she feels the same way." He pictured the girl's smiling face, "Any advice on how I could, you know…find out?"
"And we're certain she isn't aware of how you feel?"
Cyborg shook his head, "I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a clue."
"Hmm…" Robin thought to himself, "…you could get someone to ask her for you, but that would make you look a little unmanly."
"Heh, you think."
"So why not just pull her aside and let her know how you feel. Then, ask her if she's considered thinking of you in that way."
Cyborg raised a brow, "If she's considered?"
Robin shrugged, "It's better than trying to push your emotions on her."
"I get that but what if-?"
"Look…" Robin got to his feet, "…the worst thing that could happen is if she doesn't feel the same way. But at least you'll KNOW instead of continuously wondering right?"
Cyborg let his words sink in, "Yeah…you're right." His leader patted him on the shoulder before heading to back into the tower.

[The Mall]
Raven and Starfire were seated in the food court at a table munching on food that was ordered from one of the burger stands. Raiden was across the way, standing in line at an ice cream parlor. The two titans were engaged in a conversation that wasn't all too important and the alien princess made a comment that got a grin out of her dark-natured friend. Silence soon fell between the two as the hustle and bustle of the lunch crowd echoed around them. Starfire's thoughts couldn't help but drift to last night…the weight that had been upon her chest for so long had been lifted. It was like her joy and excitement was bottled in and she just…wanted to tell someone…a close friend perhaps. "Raven."
"Yeah, Star?"
The girl could feel the delightful butterflies fluttering within her stomach, "Last night…after the double of dates I…" Her eyes briefly fell on a random passerby before dropping to her hands upon their table.
Raven's gaze shifted pass her and caught sight of Raiden trying to sneak pass the other kids in line. She sighed, "One moment Star." Raven connected telepathically with the young girl telling her not to cut the line and wait patiently like the rest of the kids.
Starfire followed her gaze and chuckled at Raiden's antics; she figured Raven might be scolding her…was that normal for her to think now? "She is rambunctious is she not."
"I suppose, but I would put the blame on Richard's genes."
"Richard?" Starfire raised a brow, "Robin?"
"I'm sorry." Raven sighed, "You were saying something a moment ago, about last night."
Starfire's inward flutters risen again and she smiled sheepishly, "Yes, well…last night I took a big step with Robin."
"With Robin?" Raven raised a brow, "What kind of step?"
"I finally told him…" Starfire lowered his gaze again as it softened with a smile, "…how I felt about him…truly felt about him."
Raven's face suddenly flushed as the events of last time came rushing back to her. The double date, the shedding of tears, the confession, the crystal blue eyes that looked straight into her soul…the kiss. Suddenly something Robin mentioned as well, "Starfire admitted to having feelings for me." How could she forget that? There was so much going on that she-
"Raven?" Starfire's voice broke her thoughts and she shifted her gaze to see the girl's concerned one. "Are you okay?"
Raven shook her head, "Yeah Starfire I just…spaced out briefly. I apologize." She focused on the milkshake in front of her and twirled the straw slowly around trying to find the right words to say. "That uh…sure is a big step you took. What did Rich…Robin have to say?"
A blush decorated her smooth orange cheeks and she smiled softly, "He said he understood how I felt, more than I know." Starfire could feel so much warmth passing through her heart, "That we could go out on another date…Raven he…he didn't push me away." The girl lifted her gaze to meet her friend's, "He didn't reject me."
Raven could feel her heart ache, "Doesn't sound like he did."
"Can I tell you something, just between us both?"
"Sure Star, you can trust me."
The alien princess brought a hand to her heart, "Though I have told Robin about my feelings, I could not fully tell him to what extent they are. I…I do not believe I have ever felt this way about anything or anyone before." Starfire could feel a delightful ache stirring in her heart. "Raven I…I believe I may…"
"Love him…"
Starfire locked gazes with her friend again and genuinely smiled, "Yes…so very much. I hope that in due time I will have the courage to let this be known to him. I truly wish to remain by his side." The girl's eyes begun to well up with tears of joy. "I will strive to do my best to be there for him…to never lose him if I can. He just…means so much to me and there's just so much happiness coursing through me right now that I have no idea what to do." The girl let out a single chuckle and Raven continued to feel the ache within her heart grow. "My dreams have taken me so far in that I have begun to think of a lasting future with him…a family. I know it might sound silly but…" Raven glanced pass her to spot Raiden finally getting a serving of her ice cream…a family huh. "…I cannot help it." Starfire reached over the table and grabbed Raven's hand, "Raven, as my best friend, please answer something truthfully for me."
Raven nodded, "Of course Star."
"Do you think I am setting my hopes too high or is there a chance for Robin and me?"
Starfire's gaze seemed intense but hopeful…what was she supposed to say? Raven could feel a knot developing in the pit of her stomach only to make the aching in her heart worse. "Starfire I—"
"Okay I got my ice cream! Where to next?" Raiden's sudden presence startled the two titans, the hairs on the back of their neck standing on end. This caused the young girl to laugh.
Raven sighed, "How I wish you grow out of that sooner than later." The two titans stood and gathered their trash, "You lead Raiden, we'll follow."
"Auntie Star, you look really serious for some reason. Everything okay?" Raiden asked.
Starfire smiled, "Oh yes little Raiden, things are very much fine." Raiden gave her a nod with a smile before leading them off. After throwing away their trash, Starfire fell into step with Raven, "Raven…about my—"
"There's a chance…" She didn't want to turn to her but…Raven turned and gave her a soft yet sad smile, "…so don't think your hopes are too high."
Starfire's face lit up and she gave her friend a nice delicate hug. Once she released her, she caught up with Raiden to ask her the flavor of ice cream she had obtained. Raven watched them both, several emotions coursing through her that she needed to control. How could she let herself become distracted by…
"Take a chance…and let me love you."
It wasn't real…she wasn't sure what was happening between her and Robin but…it couldn't… Raven could feel her heart pounding in her chest and the feeling of wanting to hyperventilate but she couldn't. Not now…not where everyone could see.

[Titans' Tower – 9pm]
The girls arrived back home and walked through the living room only to find Beastboy snoring on the couch. Raiden giggled at their green friend while Raven removed her boots, teleporting them to her room closet. "Raiden, go ahead and take your bath and get ready for bed."
Raiden groaned, "Seriously mama? It's too early to be calling it a night."
"Raiden." The subtle sternness in her voice got the girl moving though still disappointed. Suddenly Starfire approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder that she gently squeezed. "What is it Star?"
"Thank you…for being such a great friend." The alien princess gave her a smile before flying off and disappearing out of sight into the hall.
"Yeah…some great friend I am." Raven sighed as she begun to make her way down the hall towards Robin's room. Once she approached his door, she knocked but there was no answer. Raven decided to knock a second time but the result was the same. Where could he be? Her next stop was Cyborg's room whose door she gave a knock.
"Yeah, give me a second." The young man's voice came from the other side of the door. She could hear his footsteps approaching until the door slid open. "Oh, hey Raven."
"Cyborg, do you know where Robin might've gone? He wasn't in his room."
"Well earlier he was up on the roof, but not sure why he'd go back up there." Cyborg shrugged.
"Who knows why he does some of the things he does." She looked down the hall before turning back to him, "What were you up to?"
Cyborg smiled nervously, "Oh nothing much…just uh, contemplating on taking a friend's advice on something."
"Right." Raven raised a brow, "I'll go check the roof."
"I'd check the kitchen first but hey, it's your call."
She turned to head on her way, "Don't contemplate too hard on telling Bee how you feel…anything can happen."
Cyborg's face flushed, "Hey, h-how did you-?"
"Let's call it…a sister's intuition." Raven gave him a grin before leaving him be.
~o~
Raven approached the entrance to the roof and tried to concentrate on any noise that could be heard…nothing. Was he up there? Maybe she should've checked the kitchen first. The girl peeked her head out of the door and her eyes immediately fell on the man who was sitting on the edge of the roof. His gaze was lifted to the starry night sky while his legs dangled over the side. Raven couldn't help the slight curl that appeared in the corner of her mouth. "Are you going to spy on me all night or are you going to join me?" Robin's voice almost startled her. She made her way onto the roof and across its pavement to where he sat. Robin patted the area beside him in a gesture of asking her to take a seat; she did. "How'd things at the mall go?" He grabbed her hand closest to him and lifted it to kiss the back of it.
"It was fine…though, confusing…" Raven lowered her gaze slightly away from him.
Robin could feel that something was bothering her, "Confusing how? Like not knowing which pair of shoes to buy?" He chuckled to lighten the mood but it didn't take.
"No…with Starfire." Raven lightly pulled her hand out of his and to herself, "The girl is so innocent, kind and wears her feelings on her sleeves…"
He nodded in agreement, "That she does, but I thought you'd be used to her displays of affection by now."
"It's not that Robin." Raven got to her feet and faced away from him; her arms folded beneath her chest. "Starfire is my friend…OUR friend." She sighed, "And the way she feels…I just…I just don't think we should…"
Robin raised a brow confused, "That we should what?"
"Whatever it is that's going on…or what we think is going on between us…it can't happen."
"What?" Robin stood, turning to face her, "What we think is going on between us? Raven, I know what's between us and it's already happening."
She turned to him, "You just don't get it…you weren't there today hearing and seeing Starfire pouring her heart out about you…" The words felt like they rushed out of her mouth and she could feel the tightening develop within her chest.
"Raven—"
"She loves you Robin…" The words were so hard for her to say whether anyone would believe that or not. "…she didn't tell you, but she told me." She could see the realization of the fact in his body language.
Robin lowered his gaze, "I suppose I should've known her feelings ran deeper than what she said but…frankly…" He lifted his gaze to her while he removed his mask, "…I don't care. I know where my heart is."
"That's the thing Robin…I don't know if either of us do."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"These feelings…are they even real?"
Robin could feel himself growing frustrated, "Don't do that."
"Why? We both know that our worlds have started to change in ways we never thought ever since Raiden showed up."
"Are you trying to say the way I feel is a lie?"
Raven's heart ached, "Wouldn't that be more believable than-"
"Me actually having feelings for you?!" His gaze was stern and those piercing blue eyes of his nearly brought her to her knees.
"Yes." Raven could feel the lump forming in her throat, "So what has begun to start…needs to stop—"
Robin pulled her close to him, her face in the palm of his hands as his eyes stared into her, "Why? Why are you doing this Rachel?"
"Because…" He was so close, she could feel the breath of his words brush across her lips.
"That's not good enough."
His words were so soft and Raven could feel herself being drawn to him, but she had already made up her mind. "Richard—"
"You said you'd give me the chance to love you…" He rested his forehead upon hers, "…you can't take it back…I won't let you take it back."
Raven sighed, feeling her heart beginning to break, "It was a mistake."
Her words cut Robin deep and he couldn't help but take a step back from her in disbelief, "A mistake? Is that how you truly feel?"
"I…" No…that's not how she felt. "…Starfire she—"
"I didn't ask about Kori; I'm asking about YOU Rachel!"
"Well, you should think about her!"
"Why?!"
"Because she's the one that can love you in a way that I can't!" Random sections upon the roof became engulfed in her dark telekinesis; she brought a hand to her chest, "Star knows how to express herself properly and work with her emotions more appropriately than I ever could."
Robin lowered his gaze and snickered, "I'm still missing the part where that's my goddamn problem when the person I want to be with is standing right in front of me."
It was like the lump in her throat nearly choked her, "Robin—"
"Tch, but I guess I can't force someone who doesn't want to be with me to reconsider." He wasn't convinced, but for her to try and push him this far…it hurt. "I'll respect your wishes Ms. Roth…things will go back to how they used to be." Not once did Raven ever consider how hearing those words would make her feel; it was like several stabs to her innards. Robin moved to walk across the roof, adjusting the mask on his face. She didn't turn to look back at him. He did, however…wishing she'd do the same but after several moments of nothing, he gritted his teeth and stormed through the door to enter back into the tower.
Upon hearing the door slam, Raven dropped to her knees and squeezed the area of her heart with her hand. It was beating out of control, almost like last night before Robin showed up to her room. He wouldn't this time. Parts of the roof began to rattle as she hyperventilated slightly, trying to gain control of her breathing. This was for the best…it had to be or the immense pain she was feeling within her entire being would be for nothing.

[East Tower]
"Yeah sure, sounds nice. Thanks for inviting me." Bumblebee was having a conversation on the phone. "Hehe, I won't forget. Alright, see you." The call soon ended and she tossed the cell on the coffee table.
Speedy entered the living room from the hall dressed only in a pair a red lounge pants since he just woke up from a nap, "Who was that?"
"That was Sparky." She stood to stretch, "Invited me to hang out at the park tomorrow to discuss something important."
Speedy raised a brow, "Just the two of you?"
The girl rolled her eyes playfully as she walked over to him, "Yes, is that a problem?"
"No, not at all. He is a friend."
"So there's nothing for you to be jealous about."
He snickered as they begun to walk down the hall, "Me? Jealous? Pfft." He stepped behind her to rest his arms around her shoulders and she grabbed his elbows. "Know what he wants to talk to you about?"
"Haven't got a clue. New equipment maybe?"
"Hmm…maybe." As they continued to walk, a realization just hit him that presented a sly grin across his face, "You know what, I just realized something."
"Oh yeah, what's that?"
Speedy brought them to a stop before planting soft kisses on the back of her neck, "With Mas o Menos still gone and now Aqualad taking a quick trip back home, we have the place all to ourselves."
Bee grinned enjoying the slight tickle of his kisses, "Mhm and what do you have in mind archer?"
"Well…" He used a hand to remove his mask and place it upon her face, "…a few things, but I'm sure you can use your imagination honeybee."
The girl got out of his grasp and took a few steps before turning to face him. He crossed his arms across his chest and leaned a shoulder on the nearest wall with a grin. "You know, my imagination can be a little intense."
"No need to remind me."
Bumblebee grinned as she pulled out his bow from behind her that was loaded with an arrow, "What do we have here?"
"Are you going through my things now." He chuckled.
"Well you gave me the mask, why not complete the assemble?" She gave him a wink.
Speedy grinned, "You are so right. You'd make a great archer."
"Great? Ha!" Bee turned around and took aim, "I'd pierce your heart."
"That may be true."
"But…" She lowered the weapon, "…it never hurts to have a skillful teacher to show me how it's done."
Speedy approached her and whispered delicately in her ear, "I'm sure we can work something out, if you're THAT eager."
"Sure." Bee grinned, "So long as you can keep up." She then bolted down the hall and he simply chuckled before heading after her. Their chase ended in his room where she jumped on his bed and taunted him.
