Epilogue

A young girl runs down the main stairs of a massive mountainside house in excitement while trying to pull on the remaining pieces of a white leotard. The house was made out of a dark tinted glass to keep out most sunlight, though each inch of it had a big enough curtain to shut out any light that'd seep in. She ran pass the kitchen and the living room where pictures of a family were situated in nice cherry wood frames across the walls and coffee table. The girl phased through a wall in her path that seemed to lead into a library where a few books were scattered about on living chairs and end tables. Another wall laid up ahead leading to the house's back garage. Several motorcycles and vehicles were parked and looked to be in great condition as though they were just purchased yesterday. The young girl jumped and flew over to the opposite side of the room and landed in a specific spot. She hit a red button on the wall opening up a hatch beneath her where an elevator was waiting. Hopping in, she hit the down arrow and the elevator rapidly descended what seemed to be twenty levels. Once the elevator came to a stop, the girl flew out and down a dim lit hallway until she came to a cold steel door. She had reached her destination and took a deep breath before phasing through the door. Inside was a brightly lit room where one bench resided in the right hand corner, someone seated upon it. The grinned, "Daddy."

The man looked up from what he was doing and waved. "Hey there kiddo. I thought our training session was later on this evening. What are you doing down here?"

"The REAL training is going to begin shortly, starting from today." She grinned.

He chuckled, "Kiddo, you've been training since you were six. What do you mean by REAL training."

"Mom is going to take it more seriously today."

"Yeah, no." He scoffed, "You're only twelve and your mom won't make it more difficult for you until you're older."

She groaned, "Ugh, you both keep saying that but I am ready. Besides.." She begun to chuckle nervously, "I sort of…you know."

"What?" He raised a brow, "What did you do?"

"Nothing THAT bad, honest." She gave him a sheepish smile.

Her dad stood, "Not that bad huh, so why do you have that look on your face?"

"W-What look?"

"The look Garfield always has when he's up to no good."

She stuck her tongue out to him, "Look don't worry about it okay, though remember we're in this together and we can take whatever she throws at us."

"Wait a minute…WE?"

Suddenly the room rumbled and he immediately focused on the girl who threw the hood of her leotard on, "Raiden, what did you DO?"

"Nothing just…" She shrugged, "…might've poured blonde hair dye into her shampoo bottle."

His heart dropped, "W-Why on earth would you do that?" The rumbling came to a stop and the wall across from them begun to glow an eerie dark color as a shadow phased through it.

"Raiden. Arella. Grayson." A stern voice echoed.

The man stepped in front of her, "You are grounded missy. No visits to Garfield for a month!" He gritted through his teeth. Two glowing white eyes emerged from the shadowy figure that soon formed the frame of a woman. Her long curly blonde hair swayed as she levitated, dressed in a black leotard that almost matched Raiden's. "Hey babe! Man, is that you? Wow, love the hair. It suits you!" He tried to hint at his daughter to make her escape.

"Shut it Richard." The glow in her eyes dissipated and her gaze shifted to the young girl. "You think this little prank of yours will get you what you want?"

Raiden bit her lip, "I just want you to take me more seriously and train me appropriately."

"When you're older."

"I'm twelve already!" She huffed while folding her arms across her chest, "Plus, dad said that the blonde color would do you some good."

The woman slowly shifted her eyes to him, "Did he now?"

"No!" He grew nervous, "Rachel, she's making it up because she wants to fight that's all. You know, stirring the pot while it's hot."

Raiden grinned, "But you DID say it. Remember we were sitting on the couch when some random shampoo commercial came on and there was this pretty blonde model swishing her hair around. YOU were the one who called her pretty by the way." The man narrowed his eyes at her.

"Enough." Rachel sighed, "Is this what both of you really want?" She lifted herself higher into the air as her dark aura shifted around her and the white glow returned to her eyes.

Richard readied himself by his daughter's side, "If this doesn't end well, I'm extending your grounded time."

"This is going to be so fun." Raiden could feel her excitement grow as she got into position. They readied themselves and Richard placed a mask on his face, completing his Nightwing uniform. Rachel unleashed electrical waves of her power, readying herself as well. In an instant, the flow of energy stopped and she absorbed it before flying off in their direction. Raiden lifted herself into the air and flew towards her with Nightwing on her heels equipped with his bostaff. "I love you both." Raiden's telepathic message echoed in her parents' thoughts as all three clashed.

"We love you too."
