Inside the nemesis , Starscream was lying on a berth in the medical bay, hooked up to a bunch of cables, groaning in pain from his wounds. He heard heavy footsteps and then his optics opened to see Lord Megatron. "Resting comfortably,Starscream? Despite the extent of your injuries, my medical staff assures me that you shall make a rapid recovery." Megatron said with an angered look on his face.

Starscream leans up a bit, slowly. "Hopefully every pit as rapid as your wrath is swift."Starscream said before coughing lightly.

That made Megatron chuckle. "And how swiftly things change. To think that but a short time ago it was you who was standing here while I was lying there, right after your failed attempt to terminate me. But know this, dear Starscream , our positions shall never be reversed." Megatron concluded as he left the medical bay.

Starscream simply groaned as he ripped the cables from his chest. Knockout was currently checking a data pad as Starscream limped out of the medical bay.

"Starscream! Have you lost your senses? You haven't fully recuperated!" Knockout shouted. Knockout thought that starscream has lost his mind for leaving so soon without fully recovering.

"I feel fine, Knockout! Never better! You're a brilliant physician, now get out of my way!" Starscream demanded as he pushed Knockout out of the way and limped down the hall while holding his chest. "Dark energon may have replenished your strength, master. But how could you forget that you never reclaimed your original shard?"He went to a certain support on the wall and took a dark energon shard. This was the same one that he took from Megatron's chest when he was dying in space. "Once the blood of Unicron flows through my veins, our positions shall be reversed." He said with a evil grin.

The Next Day

Everyone was doing their normal routine, well as normal as it can get. Now that Grimlock and Arcee's relationship has been revealed, the were more publicity there affections with one another which almost everyone finds uncomfortable and gross. But the others were still happy for the two. But it was now a normal routine,until Ratchet detected something and called everyone at the main hall.

"I had hoped that my growing expertise on the subject would remain purely academic. But though faint, this is clearly a dark energon signature And it's moving fast." Ratchet explained.

"Megatron." Optimus deduced. If it truly was Megatron then it could possibly mean more undead Cybertronians.

"Where'd he find more of the bad stuff?" Arcee asked.

"He probably had his crazy doctor make more for him." Said Grimlock.

"Probably. But that doesn't explain what he plans on doing with that stuff. He might be Recruiting a new army of the undead." Bulkhead added.

"Zombie Cons?" Miko asked in excitement as she heard the conversation.

"We cannot rule out the possibility. Especially since Megatron seems to be heading to a familiar sight." Optimus said looking at the screen.

"Why's that sight familiar? I've never been there." Said Grimlock.

"That's the sight where Bee and Optimus fought and killed a Decepticon named Skyquake." Explained Arcee.

Grimlock remembers a decepticon by that name and he remembered that the decepticon Skyquake had a brother." Skyquake? I remember him. Him and his brother were all about honor and loyalty. It was very weird and annoying. I really wanted to punch them both in the face." Said Grimlock.

"You knew Skyquake? You never mentioned that." Said Bulkhead who was a bit surprised to hear that Grimlock knew that con.

"You never asked." Grimlock said with a grin.

This gets a laugh from miko.

At the canyon

The place where they detected the signal it was the same canyon where they battle against the Decepticon Skyquake. But it was not Lord Megatron who was heading through the canyon. It was Starscream in his jet mode. He transformed when he reached to a bunch of rocks."Ah, the gravesite of the mighty Skyquake. So quick to reject my authority while you lived. But as the first of my reanimated warriors, you shall bow to my command."Starscream announced as he broke the shard in two and threw one part into the grave. It fell into one of the cracks and began to glow. Then he stabbed himself with the other half of the shard."Yes! Power of dark energon, be mine!" Starscream smirked as he was glowing purple flames. He could feel the power from the shard."Symbiosis! I can feel it!"

Back to the Autobots base...

"Megatron has barely emerged from stasis, and it seems he's already making up for lost time. Grimlock,Arcee,Ratchet, prepare to roll out."Ordered Optimus Prime

"Me?"Ratchet asked. He was surprised Optimus wanted him for this most likely dangerous mission. He didn't understand why he was going to be needed out there.

"If we are dealing with dark energon, I may well require your expertise." Optimus said. He then turns his attention to Bulkhead and Bee."Bulkhead, Bumblebee?"

"Bridge operators, got it."Bulkhead answered as Bee began to prepare the ground bridge.

"Make sure to not destroy my equipment." Ratchet said to Bulkhead who was a bit confused why he would say that. But he chose to be silent.

"Got get' em Grimlock! Bring the hurt!" Miko said from the couch.

Grimlock smiles and then smashes his fist together." Don't I always?" He then walks back to Arcee, Ratchet, and Optimus who are waiting by the ground bridge.

Jack and Raf looked Miko with superstition as she continued drawing. "That's not like Miko not to wanna go." Jack observed.

"She's definitely up to something." Raf added.

Bee activated the ground bridge as the Autobots transformed into their alt forms and went through the vortex. Miko suddenly smirked as she threw her stuff on the couch and ran towards the ground bridge.

"Making a break!" Jack said as he and Raf ran after her.

Miko jumped down multiple stairs before she made her way into her way to the tunnel. Bulkhead and Bee Didn't noticed that. Before she went all the way through, Jack grabbed her by the arm."It's not safe!" Jack told her.

This Angered Miko. Jack was ruining this for her. "I'm not going to miss my first zombie Con throw down!" She retorted as she pulled her arm from Jack's grip.

As she ran through the portal, her phone fell out of her pocket. The others followed her without hesitation before the ground bridge closed behind them. The vortex opened inside the canyon and the Autobots drove and ran out and returned back to their robot forms. Miko followed them, climbing up a rock hill to get a good view of everything.

"Wait a minute. That's not Megatron, that's just Starscream."Grimlock pointed out. He was disappointed that it was not Megatron who was here.

"Rise, Skyquake! Rise!"Starscream ordered, making the tomb crumble.

"Let's see some fight of the living dead already!" Miko yelled in excitement from the hill. The Autobots didn't hear her yell.

"Miko, what were you thinking?!" Jack yelled. He is starting to get tired of Miko doing this.

"She wasn't." Raf informed Jack.

"Hey, I totally missed out last time! This could be my only chance to take some snaps." Miko said. She reached for her pocket to take out her cell phone, only to find out it wasn't there. She got up and looked around for her cell phone while feeling her other pockets. "My cell phone. I must have dropped it back at base!" Miko realized.

At the same moment, the Autobots reached to Starscream.

"Starscream!" Optimus said as his arm turns into a Blaster.

"Autobots! And the traitor!" Starscream cursed.

"Did you miss me screamer?" Grimlock taunted as he grins.

Starscream fumes in anger at the Dinobots taunt.

"Stand down!"Optimus ordered Starscream as he aims his blaster at him. He hopes that he will listen.

"You stand down!"Starscream retorted as he aims his missile at them and the fires at them. It causes the Autobots to take cover. "Hahaha, you cannot harm me while dark energon flows through my veins. I am invincible!"Starscream proclaimed proudly while his eyes turned purple.

Grimlock was getting real tired of Starscream talking like that. He was about to pick up a Boulder and throw it at Starscream, but Optimus fired at Starscream and he cried out in pain as the bottom of his arm flew to the ground.Starscream gasped in horror as he looked at his remaining arm, so he immediately grabbed his lower arm and hid behind a rock." Nice shot Optimus. Can I throw a Boulder at him?" Grimlock asked with hopefulness.

Optimus thinks for a moment before he nods, giving Grimlock the okay to throw the Boulder.

This makes Grimlock happy as he lifts a Boulder and tosses it at Starscream. It hits Starscream and knocks him into a wall." Oh yeah!" Said Grimlock, who was happy that he made the shot.

"Nice shot Partner. Your aim is improving." Said Arcee with a small smile.

"Because of you partner." Grimlock said with a grin. Arcee had been recently helping Grimlock with his aiming when they trained together.

"Autobots, Charge at Starscream."Ordered Optimus. The two Autobots nod and then get out to their covers and charged towards Starscream.

"Come on, come on! Rise already!"Starscream yelled impatiently, but when he saw his enemies getting closer he realized it was time to leave. "This is Commander Starscream, requesting emergency ground bridge to my coordinates."

The Autobots were almost at him when...

"I can't believe you made me lose my phone!" Miko yelled.Everyone turned around to see Jack, Miko and Raf on the pile of rocks.

"How is this my fault?" Jack retorted.

"How the scrap did they get here?" Asked Grimlock as he walks over a bit to them.

"They must have followed us through the Ground Bridge." Said Arcee.

Optimus gets a message from Bulkhead."Base to Optimus, the kids are missing."Bulkhead reported on comms.

"We have a visual. Send the ground bridge immediately."Optimus informed.

At that moment, two ground bridge portals appeared, one near to the kids and a bit near to Grimlock and the other one next to Starscream.

"Two?"Ratchet asked in surprise. "You three, into our ground bridge! Now!"

"Come on." Jack said as he grabbed Miko's arm, making her groaning in frustration as they ran to the ground bridge.

"Grimlock, head back to base with the Children and keep a eye on them." Ordered Optimus.

Grimlock nods and then turns to Arcee." See you back at Base partner." Grimlock said as he walks into the Ground Bridge after the kids.

Optimus saw Starscream jumping into his ground bridge at the same time when the kids and Grimlock got inside the other. Suddenly, the ground bridges began to whirr uncontrollably.

"Ratchet, what is happening?"Optimus asked. He has never seen anything like this before. He hopes Ratchet knows what's happening.

"The dueling ground bridge portals must be feeding back on each other."Ratchet answered.

"We gotta get the kids and Grimlock out of there."Arcee said alarmed.Arcee ran towards the ground bridge, but when she got there, it exploded, sending her flying. Next, another explosion of the two portals sent everyone off of their feet and surrounding the area in smoke and dust. the smoke cleared and the kids and Grimlock slowly got up.

"Is everyone okay?" Grimlock asked the kids.

"Yeah, I think so." Raf answered.

"It's gonna take more than that for me to get hurt Grim." Miko said.

Grimlock laughs at this a bit." Your starting to sound like me." He said with a grin.

They all heard groaning as they looked around to see the Autobots stand up."What the scrap happened?" Arcee asked.

"I can't be certain. But if two ground bridges sent to the same coordinates cross streams, the feedback could've triggered a system overload." Ratchet explained.

"Could? Hello, more like totally did!" Miko retorted.

"The kids and Grim made it through, right?" Arcee asked with a worried tone. She hopes that the explosion didn't cause any damaged to the kids and Grimlock.

"Huh?" Raf asked. He was confused by what Arcee said.

"What she's talking about?" Jack asked too.

"Uh, Arcee? Me and the kids are right here." Said Grimlock. He then reaches out to tap her shoulder, but his finger goes through her like she's a hologram."What the scrap?" Grimlock was confused why his finger went through her.

"You went right through her.We're not alive." Jack said.

"I don't wanna be a ghost!" Raf screeched hugging Jack.

"Wait. How can we still touch each other?" Jack observed. If they were really dead then why could they be able to touch each other?

The Autobots began to move, so the children and Grimlock followed them.

"Ratchet, could the children and Grimlock have been transported onto the nemesis instead?"Optimus asked.

"Not likely, if Starscream didn't arrive at our base. The most likely explanation is a dislocation; the children and Grimlock may have simply been bridged to an unintended destination." Replied Ratchet.

"Well where ever they are,I just hope there safe." Said Arcee who was worried about the children and her partner.

"Another place but in the same place." Raf thought aloud.

"What do you mean?" Jack asked.

"We're probably in a different dimension. Some kind of alternative reality: a shadowzone." Raf explained.

"Cool creepy name for this place." Said Grimlock. He kinda liked the name for the dimension they are in. It suits this dimension very well.

Optimus noticed something was wrong in the area."Look.Skyquake's tomb is empty."Optimus said.

"How'd we missed Skyquake rising?"Arcee asked.

"It would seem Starscream got what he came for." Ratchet said.

"Another matter for another time. Right now our priority is locating Jack, Miko ,Rafael ,and Grimlock.Bulkhead, bridge us back to base."Optimus proclaimed.

A giant shadow covered the children: it was Skyquake, now turned into a Terrorcon. And it was making its way for the Autobots. Grimlock transforms into dino mode and them smacks the Zombie Skyquake into a wall with his tail. It did a bit of damage to the con, but it didn't seem to affect him at all."That usually works." Said Grimlock who was a bit surprised to see the zombie con still moving. The Autobots go through the ground bridge and then it closes.

"You can take this guy right?" Jack asked as he and the others back away.

"Of course he can take this Zombie con. He can handle anything. Tear him apart big guy!" Said Miko as she cheers for Grimlock.

The Zombie Skyquake pulls itself out of the wall and then roars at Grimlock as he walks towards him slowly. Grimlock charges at Skyquake and then tackles him to the ground. He then starts to punch him in the face. Skyquake reaches out to grab Grimlock, but then Grimlock bites down on his arm and tears it off. He then tosses it to the side as he goes back to punching it. He was enjoying this since it has been awhile since he's punched a con.

The children looked closely at the arm, and to their horror, the arm's fingers twitched and the arm began moving on its own, running towards them fast.

"Come on, come on!" Jack ordered as they started to run.

"How can the zombie arm move faster than the actual zombie?" Miko asked as the arm continued chasing them.

Grimlock stops punching skyquake and then gets up and then stomps on his head hard. It was now squished and there was a lot dark Energon on the ground." That was fun. Did you guy enjoy the sh-" he stopped talking when he noticed that they were gone. He looks around and he doesn't see them. "Where did they go?"He asked himself. His question was soon answered by the sound of the kids screaming. He quickly runs to the sound of the screaming.

The arm was getting close to the children and the children were starting to get tired of running."Where's Grimlock?!" Asked Raf. He was starting to get tired from running.

"Probably still tearing that zombie con apart!" Answered Miko.

"He better finish soon and helps us or we will be real ghosts!" Said Jack.

Raf trips over his feet and falls to the ground. Jack and miko see this and then They help him up and were about to run. But the Arm leaps at the kids and was about to grab them. But Grimlock Grabbed arm before it could reach them." Need a hand?" Joked Grimlock.

"You took your time." Said Jack. He was relieved that Grimlock managed to get here in time to save them.

"Had to make sure Skyquake couldn't come back. Is everyone okay?" Grimlock asked the kids.

"We're fine big guy. But I'm a bit bummed out I missed seeing you tear that zombie con apart." Said Miko.

"Um, how are we gonna get home?" Asked Raf.

Grimlock shrugs his shoulders for he has no idea how to get out of here. All hope seemed loss, But Then everyone heard music coming from Jack's pocket.

"Is that your..." Raf began.

"Phone!" Everyone realized.

Jack grabbed it and answered. "Hello? Arcee?"

In base...

"Jack?! Can you hear me?!"Arcee asked with worry before she lost connection. "Nothing."

That happened in the shadowzone too.

"Hello? Arcee!" Jack yelled into the phone before groaning and hanging up. "Nothing."

"Gee, imagine that. The fourth dimension has lousy cell phone reception." Miko remarked sarcastically.

"Wait, guys,Guys.The phone rang. We're getting a signal." Jack pointed out.

"Maybe the Autobots can't see or hear us because we're moving at hyper speed or something." Raf suggested.

"Do you think they can read us?" Asked Jack.

"Texting!" Said Raf.

"Text me! If my phone's back at the base, maybe they'll see it!" Miko exclaimed.

Jack began to text Miko's phone.

"Oh uh While your texting miko's phone. Can you tell Arcee that I that I miss her?" Grimlock asked.

"Um, sure." Said Jack. He was still getting used to Grimlocks relationship with Arcee. He begins on text mikos phone. After a minute or two, he sends the text." Now all we gotta do is wait." Said Jack.

Inside base, someone noticed Miko's phone.

"Miko's phone. It wasn't blinking before."

Bulkhead said before opening the phone with his finger. "It's a message. In alternate dimension. Help! Oh and Grimlock misses you Arcee."

Acree smiles a bit. She was glad to hear that they were okay and that Grimlock misses her.But then she just realized that the message also said that they are all in a alternate dimension."That doesn't sound possible." Arcee said.

"Ratchet, can we triangulate the geographical position of the cellphone's signal?"Optimus asked.

"In a parallel dimensional plane?!" Ratchet asked in disbelief. He then thinks for a moment."Let's find out." Ratchet added.

A couple of minutes later

"By calculating for relative time delays and ionospheric distortions, the signal emanated from the exact location as the original ground bridge coordinates."Ratchet reported.

"But we already looked for them there!" Bulkhead reminded Ratchet.

"Perhaps. But not in the correct dimensional phase as their message stated. But if I can recreate the feedback loop which triggered the event, I might be able to generate a rescue portal, allowing passage from their dimension..."

"Back to base?"Bulkhead interrupted.

"No! We're talking about inter-dimensional travel here, Bulkhead. Attempting to redirect the vortex's trajectory would be far too risky." Ratchet retorted.

"Everyone knows that." Arcee piped in.

"If the coordinates aren't precisely the same, who knows where the humans could wind up."Ratchet snapped.

Back at the Canyon

Grimlock and the kids were waiting for something to happen. Grimlock was about to say something but then a ground bridge appeared in front of them.

"A ground bridge portal?" Raf asked.

"That has to be our way out of here." Jack deduced.

"The Autobots saw our text!" Miko cheered.

"We can finally leave this place." Said Grimlock as he picks the kids and places them on his shoulder. He then walks through the ground Bridge. Once they make it through, it closes behind them. Another ground bridge opened, and Optimus , Bulkhead and Arcee came out.

"Jack, Miko, Rafael, Grimlock." Optimus greeted.

Grimlock waves at them with Skyquakes arm.

"How the scrap did you get that?" Asked Bulkhead.

"I got it from Skyquake after I pummeled him . I like to think of this as a souvenir." Said Grimlock.

"I'm just glad you and the kids are safe." Said Arcee as she walks over to him and places her hand on his arm.

Back to Base with everyone back

"Look. If you're gonna blame anybody, blame me." Miko told to everyone.

"I'm sorry. Could you repeat that? A couple dozen times?" Jack smirked, causing Miko to glare at him.

"Miko, what you endured has been lesson enough. We are just glad you are all safe." Optimus said with a smile.

"I guess it was a good thing you dropped this." Bulkhead said as he held up Miko's cell phone."Too bad you didn't get any pictures though." Bulkhead lamented.

"Nah, that's okay. I think that after today, I pretty much have zombie close-ups pierced into my brain. Plus, we have a souvenir." Miko remarked. She was talking about Skyquakes arm. It was placed in a glass container.

"I still don't understand why you wish to keep that thing Grimlock." Said Ratchet.

"It will help me remember this adventure and I thought it looked interesting." Said Grimlock.

"Grimlock, I want to thank you for keeping the children safe." Said Optimus.

"Your welcome Optimus. I'm just glad there alright." Said Grimlock. He gives a toothy grin.

Arcee grabs Grimlock by the arm and then yanks him down to her level and then kisses his cheek." I missed you too." Said Arcee who then smiles a bit at him. He then grins like a idiot while miko gags. Almost everyone laughs at her reaction
