At Collège Françoise Dupont, a shy-looking student with black hair was hiding underneath the staircase, writing in his journal. He was coming from his phone and looking at several joints that appeared to be from a comic book when Marinette noticed it.

"Hey Marc," she said. "How's it going? Where is the rest of your class?"

"Oh, hey, Marinette," he said. "We're done with classes for today; the others probably went home."

"Perfect timing!" Marinette beamed. "Our class has a spare hour, so some of us are heading to the art room. You should come check it out!"

"Sure…" he said apprehensively, "…Why not?"

Marinette then picked over his shoulder, looking at his book. "Maybe you'll finally let me read your writing!"

"Yeah, I don't know?" he said uncertainly. "Maybe."

"Awesome!" she said, giving him the thumbs up and then dashed up the stairs. "See you later then."

In the art room, Nathanial showed his drawings to their art teacher, Jean-Pierre.

"This is a team-up of Ladybug and Mightillustrator fighting Queen Wasp together," he said, showing the drawing to Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre raised an eyebrow. "You mean Evillustrator?"

"He changed his name after Ladybug de-akumatized him and became a superhero," Nathaniel explained.

"Bad guy who comes over to the good side, great idea," Jean-Pierre nodded, giving him the drawing back. "You should make a comic book about that."

Marinette was designing a hat and eavesdropped on the conversation, smiling.

"Yeah, but I'm only good at drawing stories, not writing them," Nathaniel admitted as he sat at the table.

"Then you should team up with a creative writer," Jean-Pierre suggested.

Marc peaked through the door of the Art classroom.

"Maybe… But I don't know anyone who's into that," said Nathanial.

"Don't worry, buddy," said Alix as she took off her spray mask and started doing some spray painting. "There's gotta be somebody out there just waiting to meet you. Red, please!"

Nathanial then tossed her a can of red spray paint.

"Alix is right, Nathanial," said Jack as he was working on some pottery. "There has to be a writer out there who would work perfectly with you."

Marinette then noticed Marc peeking through the door. "Marc, you made it!" She then got up, rushed in, and grabbed his arm before he could leave. "Come meet everyone!" She then dragged him inside. "This is Marc, the boy I told you about! The one who's always writing."

Marc quickly hid his book in his jacket. "Uh… I'm sorry I didn't want to disturb you."

"Welcome to room 33; you're never disturbing anyone here," said Jean-Pierre, smiling. "You can come whenever you want outside of class time or after school. Anyone can create what they want, any way they want. Rose is writing lyrics for a rock band." He gestured to Rose, who was sitting cross-legged, listening to music as she wrote. Jean-Pierre approached and lifted up her headphones. "Rose, I would like you to meet Marc."

"Hey there! Nice to meet you, Marc!" Rose yelled at the top of her voice.

"Jack is our sculptor," said Jean-Pierre, gesturing to Jack.

"Hey, Marc," Jack waved. "And if you think it strange for a blind person to be in your room, you would be right."

"Alix is our expert at street art," said Jean-Pierre as Alix flipped the spray can in the air and caught it. "And Nathaniel—"

"He likes to draw people in skinny suits," Alix teased.

Nathaniel responded by tossing a piece of paper at Alix, and she laughed.

He then turned and looked at Marc. "Welcome, Marc. As you'll find out, the good thing about this place is you can say whatever you want, and no one will judge you, or only in good fun."

Marc then noticed Nathanial's drawing and walked over to him. I… I saw your drawings on the school website, but they're nothing compared to the real thing. The movement, the expressions, the attitudes. They're all so—"

"Thanks…" Nathanial smiled, "That's nice."

Marc then stepped back from Nathaniel, embarrassed by what he just said. "Sorry.., But it's true, I-I've never seen drawings so—"

"So messed up," said Chloé as she and Sabrina entered the classroom. "All he ever draws anymore is Ladybug, ever since she de-akumatized him. As if Ladybug could care less about a guy like him."

Chloé laughed, making Nathaniel go red, and then angrily started to put his drawings away.

Jean-Pierre then placed a hand on Nathanial's shoulder, stopping him. "I've already told you, Chloé, if you have an art project you want to work on, you're quite welcome here. Otherwise—"

"Of course, I've got a project," said Chloé as she spun around the classroom. "A unique masterpiece that will revolutionise the art world." She then placed her arm and her head, and Sabrina approached her with an art folder in her arms. "Nothing you commoners would have come up with.

"Let me guess…" Alix interrupted, mimicking Chloé's pose, "Another collage of selfies?"

Everyone laughed.

"What?! No, that's ridiculous!" said Chloé as Sabrina hid Chloé's selfie project. "Utterly…ridiculous!"

"I don't know, Chloé," Jack smirked. "I thought your last collage looked great."

Chloé smiled smugly while Alix snorted. "Thank you, at least someone…" She stopped when she realised the joke and glared at him. "None of you deserve my art."

She then pushed Sabrina, and they walked out of the classroom.

"Well, Alix, Jack, if Chloé really did have an art project, it's too bad we didn't give her a chance to tell us about it, is it?" said Jean-Pierre, raising an eyebrow.

Alix sighed, put her mask back on, and continued her street art. "Whatever."

Jack merely shrugged and continued working on his sculptor.

Jean-Pierre then turned to Marc. "By the way, Marc, you've shown up at the perfect time. Marinette told us that you're always writing, and Nathaniel is looking for a scriptwriter."

Nathaniel smiled at Marc.

"Uh? Me? A script writer?" Marc blushed. "Oh, no. I don't write that kind of stuff; I mean, I don't write anything interesting, honestly. Sorry. Gotta go. Thanks for everything!"

He then ran out of the classroom before anyone could stop him.

"No, Marc!" Marinette yelled, running after him.

As he ran out of the classroom, Marc bumped into a pole dropping and dropped his book. He then ran away crying instead without noticing that he dropped his book.

"Hey, wait!" Marinette yelled, but she then stopped when she saw Marc's book on the floor and picked it up. "Marc!"

She opened the book and began reading the title "'Diary Of…' Her eyes widened in surprise, 'Ladybug!?'"

Marinette then secretly entered the school's restroom and entered one of the toilet stalls with Marc's book. Tikki then flew out just as Marinette hesitatingly opened the book and began to read.

"'I saw the Evillustrator again today. Now that he's no longer controlled by Hawk Moth, he's become a true superhero thanks to Lord Sprite, like Cat Noir and me. I'm sure he'd make an awesome partner, but I'm too shy to ask him. And I don't want to tell Cat Noir about it either because I'm worried he'll be jealous.'"

Marinette looked at Tikki. "It's not exactly the truth, but it's definitely a fun read."

"Do you realise, Marinette? Ladybug has become a source of inspiration!" said Tikki. "You're a lucky charm for artists everywhere."

"Marc writes exactly the kind of stories that Nate draws!" Marinette agreed. "It's incredible! They're totally meant to work together."

Marc was currently in the school's locker room, searching for his locker and desperately trying to find something.

"Looking for this?" said Marinette's voice.

Marc closed his locker and saw Marinette standing behind the door, holding out his book.

"Oh," he said, relieved. He grabbed it, hugging it as if it were his child. He then looked at Marinette and gasped. "Did you read it?"

"Oh, no!" said Marinette, then paused and sighed. "Yeah… sorry. It was too tempting."

Marc then turned his back on her, looking ashamed. " Oh, how embarrassing. So, so, lame."

"No, it's not!" Marinette assured him. "You should turn it into a comic book. Why don't you team up with Nathaniel?"

"Uhh, I'm sure he won't like it."

"You should have him read it before you jump to conclusions."

"But what if he doesn't like it?" Marc asked, burying his face in the book. "I'll be so embarrassed. I'll have to change schools so I'll never run into him again."

"Now you're being silly," said Marinette. "Look, he draws Ladybug all the time, and you write stories about her. Oh, I've got an idea; we'll have him read it without telling him who wrote it. If he likes it, it's a win-win. If he doesn't, we just won't say anything."

Marc looked hesitant. "Do you think it'll work?"

Marinette nodded. "Trust me on this."

Marinette returned to the art room and settled on a table with Marc's book. She erased Marc's name from the front page of the book, closed the book, and looked at Nathaniel with a mischievous smile.

"Nate!" she said, putting the book down. "Someone gave me this for you."

"Who's someone?" Nathaniel asked.

"I can't tell you who just yet," Marinette whispered. "It's a secret." She then ran off to her table, but not before looking back at him. "Read it," she winked, "and then we'll talk."

She then ran back to her table and sat down. She then looked at Nathaniel expectantly.

Nathaniel gasped as he read the title. "Diary of Ladybug!?" He then quickly covered his mouth, shocked. "Is this… for real?"

He looked over at Marinette, surprised, and she merely smiled back. He then turned his attention back to the book and began to read it.

"'I call up my lucky charm while Cat Noir wields his Cataclysm. And together, we defeat the Evillustrator. Pound it! But even though we've won this fight, something keeps bugging me. I can't stop thinking about him. I know his real identity, so sometimes, I try to catch a glimpse of him when I fly over his school.'"

Nathaniel was now sitting at the stairs, imagining the story playing out in front of him. He looked to be in pure bliss. He was unaware that Marinette and Marc were hiding behind a staircase across the courtyard, spying on him.

"Do you think he likes it?" Marc asked.

"Look at his face; of course he does," said Marinette.

"It's rude to spy on people," said a familiar voice.

Marinette instantly spun around and saw Adrien standing there. "No! It's not what you think at all! It's just that… it's gonna be… eh… Nathaniel's birthday soon, and, ehm, Marc and I wanted… to give him a disguise… I mean, surprise!"

"Cool!" said Adrien, winking at her, indicating he didn't buy her explanation in the slightest. "Very typical of you, Marinette." He then began to walk away. "Well, if you need any help with that, let me know."

"Sure won't!" she said in a high-pitched voice of embarrassment. "Sure will."

She then slumped without embarrassment.

"You're just as shy as I am, aren't you?" Marc noted.

"Just do as I say, not as I do, okay?" she said.

Marinette then waited for Nathanial, who was still reading, at the entrance to the school even after he was walking outside.

"How's it going?" she asked. Nathanial walked up to her, looking over his shoulder as if expecting someone to drop in. "Nate? So… what did you think?"

"It's seriously amazing!" he said. "But how did you get a hold of it?"

"First, I need to know if you're willing to meet the person who wrote it and then trusted it to me," said Marinette.

Nathaniel looked at her suspiciously. "Is it… who I think it is?"

"I can't tell you anything," she said. "Please don't insist."

"Sure," Nathanial winked. "Of course."

"Awesome!" Marinette beamed. "You're gonna make someone very happy."

Nathanial then tried to hand Marinette the book back, but she stopped him.

"You keep it," she said. "You can give it back to the author later today. In person."

"It's my dream come true," he said to himself, looking at her suspiciously. "This isn't some kind of prank, is it, Marinette?"

"Meet at the Place des Vosges Square Fountain," Marinette instructed. "Trust me, you will not be disappointed."

Marinette made it onto her balcony and began using her phone to zoom in on the park just as Nathanial arrived.

"Final phase of operation 'Comic Book', Tikki," she said excitedly.

"This will be better than a fairy tale ending," said Tikki.

Nathanial was walking towards the foundation, looking around anxiously, when he noticed somebody in a red hoodie and blushed.

"Ladybug?" he said.

The person looked up, and it was Marc. "Huh?"

"What?!" said Nathanial, taken aback. "You're not Ladybug!"

"Of course I'm not; it's me, Marc," said Marc, confused. "Didn't Marinette tell you?"

"Marinette?" he said. He looked over to Marinette's balcony, where she saw him filming him.

"Uhh, operation 'Comic Book' has hit a snag!" Marinette panicked, and Tikki hid.

Nathaniel looked at Marc furiously. "You were trying to make a fool of me, weren't you?" He then pointed accusing me towards Marinette. "Do you think it's funny to toy with my feelings?"

"No, not at all!" said Marc. "I-I just want… to make… a comic book, if you want to, that is."

"A comic book? Us!? Together?! Never!"

Nathanial then tore Marc's book in half right in front of him, much to his horror. He then stormed off, leaving Marc with the remains of the book.

Marinette had watched everything for her cell phone. "Oh no!"

She then quickly ran off with Tikki

Marc just sat on his knees and started to cry.

Hawk Moth sent to these negative emotions and opened the window with his lair.

"A blooming friendship brutally ripped up," he said. "Picture perfect no more." He then turned a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my beautiful akuma, and evilize him!"

He then released it on the streets of Paris.

The akuma managed to fly all the way to the Place des Vosges and entered one of the pages of his book as he was picking them up.

"Reverser, I am Hawk Moth," said Hawk Moth telepathically. "You've been accused of pretending to be someone you're not, so from now on, no one will be who they claim to be. I'm giving you the power to invert anyone. The strong will become weak. The brave will become cowards. And the kind will become mean. In return, you will seize Ladybug's and Cat Noir's Miraculous for me."

"Nothing will be the same anymore, Hawk Moth," Marc vowed.

Mark then threw his book onto the ground, which transformed into a big paper plane. He then jumped onto it, and the purple ether began to cover his body, transforming him. He was now made of paper that looked as if it had been folded origami style, with one side black and the other side white.

From a bench and nearby park bench, Mr Ramier looked up at him.

Marinette had just sprinted into the park. "Marc? What happened?"

"I'm not Marc anymore," said Reverser as he flew around in his paper plane. "I am Reverser! And you, Marinette, the one who caused all this! You think you're the super helpful girl who's loved by everyone? Well, from now on, everyone will hate you!" A paper aeroplane then appeared in his hand. "Reversion!"

He then tossed the paper aeroplane at Marinette, who quickly jumped out of the way. The paper aeroplane instead struck Mr. Ramier, who was hiding behind a bench.

"Ouch!" he said and looked down to discover that his pigeons were attacking. "What's happening to you, my little pigeons?" They all then flew off, and he began to chase after them. "Where are you going? Wait! Come back! Please!"

Marinette looked up at Reverser, confused. "But I don't get it! I really was trying to help you!"

"LIAR!" he roared. "You told Nathaniel I was someone else!"

He then heard the sound of a whistle and turned around to see Lieutenant Roger standing behind him.

"Hey, you! What is this thing?" he asked, pointing at the hovering paper plane. "Vehicle registration, please."

"You're all about law and order?" said Reverser. "Well, we're all done with that! Reversion!"

He then tossed a paper plane at Roger, and the moment he did, he began laughing and shooting his tazer in the air for good fun.

"Do whatever you want with that paper plane of yours," he laughed and ran off. "I've got other plans!"

Reverser then turned back to Marinette and discovered she was no longer there.

"MARINETTE!" he roared and flew off.

Marinette had run out of the parking and hid behind a building.

"Where did operation 'Comic Book' go wrong?" said Marinette, looking at Tikki. "We better find out! Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug.

Reverser was flying over the streets of Paris looking for Marinette when suddenly Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around his arm.

"Stop, Reverser, listen!" she said. "We don't need to fight, so please make the right choice and give up Reverser!"

"You talk a lot, Ladybug," said Reverser. "But what will you do without your powers? Reversion!"

He then began throwing paper planes at her, but she was able to dodge them.

"You can't stay still, can you?" he said. "Well, let's go for a ride then!"

He then suddenly took off, dragging Ladybug with him.

Adrien was currently in his limo in the middle of a traffic jam, listening to the news.

"As Mayor Bourgeois will later talk about his new space-dumpster program," said Nadja, showing an image of a number of protesters outside City Hall, "protesters gathered under the slogan 'Space is no dump' and are walking towards city hall, causing traffic jams in the centre of the city."

Adrien then saw Roger running past, shooting his tazer.

"Hahaha! In the name of the law, do whatever you want!" he yelled, laughing.

"The bank, he robbed the bank!" someone yelled.

Adrien was confused by what was happening when he suddenly saw Reverser flying past a while dragging screaming Ladybug.

Adrien then turned to his bodyguard. "I forgot my fencing gloves since traffic's so bad; I'll go get them and catch up with you on foot."

He left the car before his bodyguard could stop him and found a hiding place.

Adrien then held out his ring. "Plagg, claws out!"

He then began to transform into Cat Noir.

At their secret hideout, Lady P saw Reverser flying around, dragging Ladybug with him.

"It looks like we have another villain loose," Lady P informed Jack.

"That looks like Marc," said Nooroo, flying up to the monitor.

"Adrien told me that Marinette was helping him. It sounds as if something went long," said Jack.

"Well, it looks like she could use some help now," said Lady P.

Jack nodded and removed his scarf. "Nooroo, light wings rise!"

Nooroo then flew into his brooch, and he began to transform into Lord Sprite.

Reverser was now flying over the river, still dragging Ladybug. He started throwing paper planes at her, but she dodged them.

"Be clever, Reverser," Hawk Moth advised. "A writer must never be short of ideas."

Reverser saw a cyclist cycling over the bridge and smiled. "You used to be quick on your feet? Now you've got two left feet! Reversion!"

He then threw a paper plane, and Ladybug dodged it, but the Reverse's true target was the cyclist. The moment the paper plane struck, the cyclist began to lose control of his bike.

"Oops!" Reverser smiled.

"Wah! S-Sorry!" The cyclist yelled as he tried to get control of his bike. "How do I ride a bike?! Uuaaahh!"

Ladybug then saw that he was heading straight towards the bridge. "Oh no!"

She quickly released Reverser just as the cyclist hit the edge of the bridge, was thrown off his bike, and began to plunge towards the river. She quickly wrapped her yo-yo around the bridge railings and grabbed the cyclist before flipping back onto the bridge.

"Thank you, Ladybug!" said the cyclist.

Ladybug then suddenly saw a paper plane heading straight towards her and attempted to block it with arms, to no avail.

"Gotcha!" Reverser smiled.

Ladybug then tossed her yo-yo, but it struck the bridge railings and bounced back into her face. She stumbled backwards and back into a bench, rolling office while ignoring the laws of physics in the process. Then, when she raised her head, her yo-yo hit on the top of her head.

Reverser left at the sight. "How do you like your new role, Ladyklutz?"

"Excellent work, Reverser," Hawm Moth beamed. "Now that she's weakened, get hold of her Miraculous, her earrings!"

"Your miraculous are mine!" said Reverser

"Awesome costume!" said a voice.

Reverser turned and saw Cat Noir heading straight for him, spinning his staff. He barely had time to get out of the way to avoid getting hit.

"Hah! Too bad we'll have to tear it up!" Cat Noir smiled.

Ladybug then tried to get back on her feet but stumbled.

Cat Noir frowned, noting her distress. "Everything okay, m'lady?"

"So you think you're brave, Cat Noir?" said Reverser. "Revert from puss to wuss! Reversion!"

He tossed the paper plane straight at him, but Cat Noir dodged it.

"Oh, yeah, I'm so scared," said Cat Noir mockingly. "Come on, milady, let's wrap this up."

He then dashed forward, unaware of Ladybug's dilemma

"at Noir, wait!" she yelled and fell over again.

Cat Noir looked at her, confused. "M'lady?"

Reverser took advantage of Cat Noir's distraction and struck him with a paper plane. Cat Noir then looked down into the river and immediately screamed.

"What's up, kitty? Got vertigo?" Reverser sneered.

Cat Noir quickly backed away from the railings and jumped into Ladybug's arms. Nationally, with the clumsy curse placed upon her, she lost her balance and accidentally fell over the edge of the bridge and plunged into the river.

Sprite had just arrived on the river's bank and witnessed everything.

"Damn, looks like I arrived too late," he said and then quickly died into the river.

Reverser hovered over the river, but he couldn't see them.

"Locate them, Reverser," Hawk Moth ordered. "The Miraculous are so close!"

Reverser kept on looking but could find no trace of them.

"They are powerless now, Hawk Moth," he said. "We've got all the time in the world. I'll take care of them as soon as I've inverted Marinette and Nathaniel."

"Fine!" Hawk Moth growled. "But hurry! I want my miraculous!"

Reverser then flew away laughing.

Nathanael, meanwhile, made his way inside the Louvre and rang the doorbell belonging to Mr. Kubdel.

Mr. Kubdel opened the door and saw him. "Alix, your friend is here!"

Reverser had flown all the way to the school and quickly entered the art room, where Juleka, Rose, and Jean-Pierre turned around, startled.

"Where are Nathaniel and Marinette?" Reverser demanded.

"That's a very creative costume you have there," said Jean-Pierre. "Would you like to join our workshop?"

"All I want is to know where Nathaniel and Marinette are! RIGHT NOW!" Reverser demanded.

Meanwhile, Sprite was swimming through the river and quickly grabbed Cat Noir and Ladybug. Thankfully, both of them had used their weapons as oxygen masks, but due to their curses, neither could swim.

He was then dragged onto the shore, which was rather tricky in Ladybug's case, and she crawled across the ground.

"Ah, even swimming is impossible with this curse," Ladybug groaned and looked at Sprite. "Thanks for the save."

"I only wish I got here sooner," said Sprite.

Cat Noir began to shiver and sneezed. "Achoo! Great. Now I'm sure I'm gonna catch a cold."

Ladybug rolled her way to a concrete block and used it as a support. "How are we gonna defeat him?"

Cat Noir stared at her. "What? You wanna face him again? I really don't wanna fight that bad guy! He looks so mean."Ladybug: We don't have a choice, Cat Noir. Reverser is looking for a boy named Nathaniel." She then slowly made her way to the stairs. "We've gotta find him before he does. Luckily, I know where to look.

"I can't do it!" Cat Noir cried. "The stairs are too high. It's making me dizzy."

Ladybug sighed and reached her hand out to him. "Come on, little kitty. Here, kitty kitty. That's it, we're good." Cat Noir whimpered as he took her hand, and she slowly guided him to the stairs. "See? You're gonna be just—" She tripped, fell over again, and groaned. "Uugghh… We're not outta the woods yet."

Sprite then picked her up bridal style. "I think you'll be safer for you if I carry from now on."

Ladybug groaned. "It's going to be a long day."

Up on the roof of the Le Grand Paris, Sabrina was filing Chloé's nails when Reverser appeared.

"Tell me where Nathaniel and Marinette are!" he demanded.

"Can't you see we're busy?" said Chloé without looking at him.

"You're definitely the meanest person alive, treating Sabrina like a slave!" Reverser glared and conjured up two paper planes. "Reversion!"

He then tossed the paper planes at the two girls, and suddenly, they switched positions. Sabrina was now sitting in Chloé's chair, napping her fingers and giving her orders.

"Chloé, I want some juice made from fresh strawberries, but pick out all of the seeds first," Sabrina ordered.

"Yes, Sabrina!" said Chloé obediently. "Coming right up, Sabrina!"

She quickly ran to the kitchen, and Reverser laughed as he blew away.

At City Hall, Mayor Bourgeois gave a speech while protesters protested.

"Space is no dump!" the protesters yelled in unison.

"Thanks to our space dumpster program, all our trash is now stored in orbital dumpsters," said Mayor Bourgeois. "Making Paris the cleanest city in the world."

"Booo! Booo!" Ivan yelled as Mylène stood there holding a protester's sign.

Mylène looked up and saw Reverser had just arrived

"Paris, the cleanest city?" he said. "We'll see about that! Reversion!"

He then tossed a paper plane, striking Mayor Bourgeois.

"I'm going to order our satellites to release all the dumpsters back down toward Paris, making our city the biggest trash heap the world has ever known," Mayor Bourgeois announced, controlling the satellites from his tablet.

Reverser laughed, and all the protesters ran off except for Ivan, and Mylène just stood there in fear.

The heroes had just arrived at Collège Françoise Dupont in a taxi. Since Ladybug and Cat Noir were cursed, it was the only way to get around the city.

"Whoa!" said Cat Noir as he exited the taxi with a blanket over his shoulders. "You drive like a maniac!"

"Sorry about that," Ladybug apologised. "He's not quite himself right now."

"If you don't mind waiting here for a few moments because we might need your services again," said Sprite as he got out.

When Ladybug exited the taxi, she closed the door behind her but got the yo-yo string stuck. She then walked away and got yanked back by her string, causing her to open the door again to free the string, almost falling in the process. She then closed the door and began walking but ended up tripping over her yo-yo cord.

"I thought we agreed that I would carry you from now on," said Sprite as he picked up.

Ladybug merely groaned.

Sprite soon carried her up the stairs to the art room with a bow and into Cat Noir, who looked confused.

"I hate art and music! Jean-Pierre yelled as a number of items were tossed out of the door. Moments later, he, Juleka and Rose then ran out of the door, throwing pictures and pieces of paper around. "Let's destroy it all!"

"I think we're too late," said Sprite.

Ladybug nodded. "Reverser got here first!" She then looked down at Nathaniel's drawings on the floor. "Look! The Louvre is in almost every single one of Nathaniel's drawings."

"Does this mean we're gonna have to take the cab again?" Cat Noir asked in a shaky voice.

Ladybug glared at him.

Nathaniel was indeed at the Louvre and just told Alix what had happened.

"Maybe you should've given him a chance to explain," said Alix as she skated around the venue as he sat on the bench.

"What's the point?" he said as he continued to draw. "He wanted to tease me. Like everybody else."

"It can't possibly be because of Marinette," said Alix. "It's not like her to make fun of other people."

Nathaniel had to admit she had a point. "Hmm, do you think I jumped the gun a bit?"

"Nathaniel!" said Ladybug, and they saw her, Cat Noir, and Sprite standing in the doorway. "We need you; it's an emergenc—" She then took a step forward and tripped over Cat Noir, knocking them both over, much to the confusion of both Alix Nathaniel.

"This is getting tiring…" Ladybug groaned.

"Admittedly, it would be funny if the situation wasn't so dire," said Sprite.

They then showed both Nathaniel and Alix the news on Ladybug's yo-yo.

"It's been confirmed," said Nadja, showing a live image of the Eiffel Tower, "ten thousand tons of garbage have just been released from space and are about to rain down on Paris unless Mayor Bourgeois cancels the process; the city will soon be under a mountain of trash. The man behind the chaos, Supervillain Reverser, has given an ultimatum."

"Ladybug, Cat Noir, Lord Sprite!" Reverser roared on the live feed. "I command you to deliver Nathaniel and Marinette to me right now! I also demand that you hand over your Miraculous!"

"We have to try and talk to him, and we're gonna need you, Nathaniel!" said Ladybug.

"What about Marinette?" Cat Noir asked.

"We don't have time!" she said quickly. "Reverser will have to settle for just Nathaniel."

"I'm coming with you," said ALix.

"No way!" said Ladybug firmly. "It's too dangerous."

"Actually, I'll just stay here too, so I don't get in the way," said Cat Noir timidly.

Alix then snuck up to Cat Noir. "Boo!"

Cat Noir screamed and jumped into Ladybug's arms, causing the two of them to fall to the ground.

Ladybug groaned.

Alix then offered her her hand. "It looks to me like you're going to need a helping hand."

"She does have a point," said Sprite. "You've got two left feet, and Cat Noir is scared of his own shadow. I won't be able to handle Reverser by myself."

"You can never get too much help," said Cat Noir as he picked himself up.

Alix then helped Ladybug up. "Nathaniel is my friend. I'm not dropping him."

At the Eiffel Tower, the police had gathered around, and the heroes had just arrived in another cab.

"You're a public health hazard!" Cat Noir scolded.

The taxi driver frowned. "But I never even went over 15 miles an hour."

Alix, who was helping Sprite carry Ladybug, looked up towards the sky and saw several dots. "That's strange; the stars are out early."

"Those are not stars!" said Ladybug. "The trash is entering the atmosphere! In just a few minutes, it'll be like having a meteor shower, except with dumpsters instead!"

"Lady P, can you stop those satellites from crashing?" Sprite asked, talking into his cane.

"I'm trying, but no matter what I do, the mayor keeps overwriting my commands," she said. "In a few more moments, their trajectory will be reversible."

Cat Noir shivered, and Ladybug placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't be scared, Cat Noir. We can do this."

Cat Noir then removed the hood over his head and smiled. "You're right, m'lady. Our powers may be all screwed up, but we still make a great team."

Ladybug then tossed her yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!"

Suddenly, a red and black-spotted roll of bamboo sticks materialised, landing on her head. "Ah! A bamboo roll?"

Ladybug began looking around, and her eyes fell upon a traffic cone, Cat Noir's blanket, her yo-yo, and the bamboo roll itself.

Ladybug instantly grabbed the traffic cone and used the makeshift megaphone. "Reverser! We're over here! I've got a deal for you. I'm gonna hand Cat Noir over to you now!" Cat Noir stared at her in shock, but she continued. "In exchange, you'll reverse Mayor Bourgeois to order the dumpsters back out into space! Only then will I give my miraculous and Nathaniel."

"I'll only reverse the mayor back if I have Cat Noir and Nathaniel," said Reverser. "Then I'll reverse Nathaniel, and he'll have no choice but to make a comic book with me!"

Ladybug sighed. "Okay!"

Reverser smiled as Nathaniel and Cat Noir entered the Eiffel Tower's elevator.

"M'lady, I'm too scared," said Cat Noir.

"And I don't wanna be reversed," said Nathanial.

"You have to trust me," Ladybug assured him, handing him her yo-yo. "This is gonna work."

Sprite then held out his cane. "And don't worry, we have your back."

He then released a kamiko, which flew up to Nathaniel and entered his pen.

"Good luck, Mightillustrator," Sprite smiled as the elevator doors closed.

A few moments later, Ladybug, Sprite and Alix made their way back outside just as the elevator went up.

"Cat Noir and Nathaniel are on their way!" said Ladybug. "Return Mayor Bourgeois back and stop the space dumpsters!"

"If you try to trick me, it'll cost you dearly," Reverser warned.

"What tricks do you actually think I can pull, Reverser?" Ladybug asked. "With the scaredy cat and me, super klutz, we don't stand a chance."

"If I see Lord Sprite, make a move; the deal is off!" Reverser warned as he turned to face the elevator.

He produced a paper plane in advance, but his eyes widened when the elevator doors opened.

"What?!" he stared.

Nathaniel had now transformed into Mightillustrator, who was Evillustrator. His skin was now pure white, and his outfit was much brighter. Cat Noir also stood there wearing a blindfold and holding onto a makeshift kite crafted from his blanket, the bamboo sticks, and Ladybug's yo-yo in his mouth.

"Let's go, Cat Noir!" Mightillustrator said.

The two of them quickly dashed towards Reverser; Mightillustrator quickly drew a pair of wings and took off. On the other hand, Cat Noir ran blindly off the edge of the Eiffel Tower, making him scream and drop the yo-yo from his mouth.

The yo-yo then fell down on top of Ladybug's head, but Alix grabbed it and held onto it.

"Okay, got it," she said.

Cat Noir and Mightillustrator flew around Reverser, who began tossing paper planes at them. However, we were able to dodge them, mostly thanks to Alix's brilliant kite-flying skills.

"Stay still!" Reverser roared as he continued tossing planes at them.

"Now turn back a little to your right, Alix," Ladybug guided.

"Mightillustrator, you need to keep them off balance and give Cat Noir an opening!" Sprite instructed telepathically.

"You got it," said Mightillustrator, who began to sketch a flock of pigeons.

The pigeons then immediately swarmed Reverser.

"Yes, now a bit up," said Ladybug as Alix guided Cat Noir close to Reverser. Once he was close enough, she immediately held out the traffic cone. "Cat Noir, now!"

"CATACLYSM!" Cat Noir screamed.

Cat Noir then flew beneath Reverser and raised his hand against the paper plane, causing it to disintegrate. Alix quickly yanked, pulling the kite away from Cat Noir and moving it towards her and Ladybug.

The two girls immediately tossed the kite into the air and yelled, "Miraculous Ladybug!"

Reverser instantly transformed back into Marc, who screamed in conjunction with Cat Noir. The magical ladybugs passed over Cat Noir, curing him of his curse, and he stopped screaming instantly.

"Alright, stunt-time!" he said.

He quickly extended his staff across the two support of the Eiffel Tower and caught Marc. At the same time, the magical ladybugs put the dumpster satellites back into space. They also cured Chloé and Sabrina; as Chloé gave Sabrina a shoulder massage, one secured, the two girls looked at one another shocked. The magical ladybugs then killed Mayor Bourgeois, who looked at his tablet in shock. Finally, Ladybug herself was cured.

"Hey, Ladybug, you're gonna need this," said Alix, tossing her yo-yo back.

Ladybug then opened her yo-yo. "No more evil-doing from you, little akuma." She spun her yo-yo around. "Time to de-evilize!" She swung her yo-yo, caught the akuma, and pulled it back. "Gotcha!" She then released the purified butterfly and watched it flutter away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."

Cat Noir then used his staff to lower himself and Mac to the ground. Mightillustrator landed on the ground, Spritee retrieved his kamiko, and he reverted back to Nathaniel.

"Cool," said Cat Noir. "Feels good to be ourselves again."

Mayor Bourgeois then arrived. "My, my. I guess that space dumpster thing was a bad idea after all."

Both Marc and Nathaniel made eye contact with one another but quickly looked away from each other.

"Thank you, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite, you really keep this city clean," said Mayor Bourgeois gratefully.

"All the day's work for your popular superheroes," Sprite smiled.

Ladybug then turned to Marc and Nathaniel. "Marc and Nathaniel? By now, you realise there was a big misunderstanding, but if you give each other a chance, I'm sure you'll find out how well you can work together."

Nathanial nodded and held out his hand to Marc. He smiled and shook his hand.

"A bit like you, Sprite, and me, m'lady," said Cat Noir, holding out his fist.

"Pound it!" said the trio, fist-bumping.

"Some day soon, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite, the order of things will reverse, and I will win!" Hawk Moth growled, closing the window to his lair.

Nathaniel and Marc soon finished their first comic and showed everyone in the art room.

"Next, they team up with the Mightillustrator and de-akumatized Reverser," said Nathanial. "Then he joins the team."

"Wow, great job, boys!" said Jean-Pierre.

"I think the story is awesome. I'm just sorry that I can't be honest about the pictures," said Jack. "But I bet they're perfect, Nate."

"Heh, thanks," Nathanial smiled.

"None of this would've happened without you, Marinette," said Marc.

"I'm so relieved you're not mad at me, guys," said Marinette.

"In fact, we've dedicated our first issue to you," said Nathanial, pointing at the comic. Marinette gasped and then looked at the last page of the book. "To Marinette, who would make a super superhero."

"If she wasn't such a klutz!" Nate and Mac said in unison.

Everyone then laughed.
