My Little Girl-Ch 23
Christopher said, "I am her father, I am, me, not you and I am sick and tired of this crap going on, it's obvious that you've brainwashed her against me that's why she doesn't want anything to do with me", he said, "I want my daughter, I want to take her home with me tonight, now".
Derek said, "'no way, that's not going to happen", Christopher said, "you can't stop me, I'm her biological father and I have every right to take her with me right now", Penelope said, "we won't let you take her from us, not here, not now, not ever".
Daniel stepped forward and said, "Chris you're doing this for the wrong reason, you're acting like a child because a little girl that you didn't know about until a few weeks ago won't let you touch or hold her, you need to grow up, man up and leave that child and these two amazing people alone".
Christopher's mouth flew open as she stood there in disbelief, he then said, "you are my attorney, you are suppose to be on my side, mine, not there's mine", Daniel said, "I am in this to make sure that this beautiful little girl is in the right home. a home filled with people that love her and that she loves".
Everybody stood there listening as Daniel said, "and from what I see she has it here, she has it with these wonderful people", Gretchen nodded her head and said, "I agree with you 100% Daniel, I couldn't have said it better myself" causing Christopher to put his hands on his hips and look around the room.
It was now that Hotch stepped forward and said, "I can clear all of this up your honor, I can prove to you why he is here and why only now he is interested in getting custody of Jasmine", Gretchen said, "please continue", Hotch said, "Dave and Fran have video cameras in every room and outside, you can't be too careful this day and time".
She said, "that's very true, very true", Hotch continued by saying, "and these cameras caught all of your little conversations with your attorney and I am going to play them here for the judge to see and hear", Christopher shook his head and said, "no, you can't do that, you can't do that".
Gretchen said, "and I say that he can" and motioned for him to continue, then all of the guests watched and listened to the conversations that had occured between Daniel and Christopher and how he'd admitted that the only reason he was out for custody was so that he could get the money that he knew her mother had left for her.
When the recordings were finished Gretchen looked at him and said, "I know this isn't a courtroom but it will do so I am ready to give my decision", Christopher said, "please don't take her away from me', Gretchen said, "take her away from you, she was never with you, she has has always had a loving home here and here with these wonderful people is where she will stay".
Penelope and Derek were all smiles as she said, "I grant full and permanent custody of Jasmine to Derek and Penelope Garcia soon to be Morgan and I see no problem with them being able to legally adopt this innocent, sweet child".
Derek said, "thank you mam", she said,"you don't have to thank me son, seeing the smile on that child's face is all I need to see to prove to me that she loves you, that she loves all of you", everybody smiled as they watched Jasmine laugh and clap her little hands.
Dave then stepped forward and said, "now Christopher would you like to leave on your own orrrrrrr would you rather that we show you the way out?", he said, "no, I'll go, I'll go on my own", they stood there watching as he then turned around and walked out of the room and then they heard the front door slam a few seconds later.
Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "I'm so glad that's ov" and before she could finish her sentence she clamped her hand over her mouth and ran from the room, Derek quickly handed the baby to Hotch and ran out of the room right on his baby girls heels, leaving everybody behind to wonder what had just happened and wonder what was wrong with Penelope.
