Noel was walking through the woods while holding the ring that Victor had dropped looking at the details of the craftsmanship and closed her fist with a sigh putting it to her forehead
"Damn..." Noel said with a small amount of irritation on her face "why can't I get over the fact that I'll never get to meet my soulmate at this point" Noel said as she sat on a rock and looked at the ring
'Does such a little thing really make a big difference...getting married only leads to unexpected turns of events and I doubt I want to end up like my brother Haru' Noel thought to herself
Having thoughts about her dead brother made Noel think about throwing the ring away but she digressed "such a little thing holds such power give me a break" Noel said looking at the Ring with malice and anger
'I hate it...I can't even meet my soulmate so why bother even trying' Noel thought to herself as she stood up "the vows aren't even that hard go say" Noel said to herself as she threw the ring up in the air and caught it with ease
"With this candle I will light your way through the darkness" Noel said saying the vows while looking at the ring not knowing that someone was listening in on the vows she was saying
"With this cup I will be your wine..." Noel said as she was still unaware of the listening ears "with this ring I ask you to be mine" Noel said putting the ring on a shrub branch that looked like a hand
"Yeah right" Noel said as she then felt the wind blow eerily 'what's this sudden chill going up my spine' Noel thought to herself no sooner had she thought about that
her wrist was suddenly grabbed and it was pulled by the unsuspecting shrub hand and she was startled as she pulled her arm from the ground only to see a skeleton arm grabbing at her, she shook it off
"W.what!" Noel said startled then another hand popped up from the ground pulling himself up Noel couldn't believe her eyes she could see a corpse wearing a wedding tux with light blue skin and dark blue hair and he had kind black eyes
"I Do" he said reaching out to get her but Noel was not about to let herself be taken by a corpse so she ran off "did I just release a corpse from it's holding ground" Noel said in a panicked tone
Noel didn't think she'd unleash a corpse unto the world and she arrived at the bridge thinking she wasn't being followed anymore she sighed in relief 'what was that' Noel thought to herself startled
'I'm probably just hallucinating' Noel thought to herself as she gripped her arms only to feel a sudden itch on her wrist where her soulmark was 'what?' Noel thought confused as she looked at it only to see a blue hair on the skull and the wedding Ring circling around it
"What?!" Noel said as she abruptly turned around and almost jumped in fright when she saw the Corpse Groom she had nowhere to run so she could only stand in fright
The Corpse Groom leaned in closer "you may now kiss the Groom" the Corpse Groom said as soon as his lips touched her's she blacked out 'my soulmate is a corpse how can this be!' Noel thought to herself as she is unconscious
Emilius looked down at the girl in his arms with loving eyes he finally found his true love he had been searching for her since he died...he looked down at his own wrist he was familiar with soulmarks that lead to soulmates
He was quite fond of soulmates even after he died he wanted to find his soulmate he had been ecstatic when the mark appeared on his wrist when he turned 16 but now he was a 20 year old Corpse Groom
He carefully wrapped his arms under her and lifted her up bridal style he caught a glimpse of her wrist and saw the soulmark on her wrist thought it was not colorful it had indication that it was indeed his soulmate
"Although I didn't mean to frighten her I do hope she loves me" Emilius said as he carried her through the woods and took her to a secret passage through the graveyard to the world of the dead
